It Walmart what do expect... They had what I needed. Ill be back

Not as big of a wal mart but it was organized and clean. I was very happy.

I’m from Pontiac,Illinois.This Walmart has some that Pontiac Walmart does not have. We were able to find Hershey’s Chocolate pot and many other options with chocolates that Pontiac Walmart don’t have.However Pontiac Walmart has more stuff in total than Streator Walmart. I believe if you have to choose between the top to go if they both are at similar distance to you, I would suggest to choose Pontiac Walmart over Streator Walmart. Pontiac Walmart also has huge parking space compared to Streator Walmart. Also Pontiac Walmart has the auto care tire center.

Enjoy shopping here in town.For so long had to shop out of town.

Very small for a super center.Self-checkout machines havent taken cash for 3 weeks. Tried to use my credit card wouldnt take that either. They suggest you can go pay cash at the checkout lane the one that they have open with a big line.Remember Kmart? They had that same problem people would be waiting to give them money but no one was there to take it, when you had a car for the products and couldnt check out.

Last week I went into your store to buy my dying father one last butterfinger before he passed. Unfortunately you guys had ran out. But thankfully Sam was there to save the day by running to the back of the store hauling an oven and all the ingredients needed to make butterfingers by scratch... And if that wasnt enough. Sam also insisted on delivering the homemade butterfingers to my dying father personally.Thank you Sam!

The produce section is good. Really like this Walmart.

Alot of the employees are not helpful or polite, I have had workers stand over me in the parking lot waiting for me to unload my cart but never ever asking me if I need help nor do they say thank you when taking it. Dont like they dont stock better quality items. Poor store. Very sad business

Yesterday morning my 82 year old father chose to shop at Streator Walmart for some groceries. Upon completion of his shopping he reaches the checkout isle to complete his purchase. There is no cashier available to assist so he attempts to locate an associate for some assistance. The associate told him he can use the self check out. My father declined the offer as he simply wants someone to process his groceries so he can pay and be on his way. He left his groceries and exited the store. With the current price of groceries, the time and effort it took him to shop, you would think the associate could have checked his groceries for him at the self check out. The lack of customer service and a missed opportunity to help out one of your lifetime residents is disappointing. I filed a complaint with their headquarter yesterday and have received no response.

They have pretty much whatever youre looking for, most of the time.

Walmart always has what I need & their pick up is very efficient

I dont care for this Walmart it got too many empty shelves is always out of stuff and staff can be snippy but there is some nice staff I highly recommend the Walmart in Ottawa Illinois

Definitely a small town Walmart. You can easily tell the difference between this store and other stores bigger and way busier. No sense of urgency, never open on time. Just today I had to call at 7:05 with 8 people waiting to get in and the lady had an attitude because it must have been my fault I had to call to open their store. I just don’t get it, a business has consistently, management should be there to direct. If it’s time to open there should be punctuality. Yet I see most employees lackadaisically moving about without any care in the word of why they work there.

The garden staff was friendly and very helpful. I found almost everything I was looking for except for 1 thing but I found it at At Home store. Walmart finally had more sausage and gravy breakfast bowls in so I got 10 of them for my breakfast

Had everything we needed. In person cashiers were full .. yet could only use cards in the self checkouts

Its a very small version of the normal Walmart. Small town Streator IL. Its all we have. No automotive.

Streator, il. Walmart is small and unorganized. But we eventually found the stuff we were looking for

Extremely negative interaction. Employees were brash and rude. Turning customers away at 10 pm even though their sign says 11pm. One employee pointed out that the time was written over in marker. Claimed that its been 10pm closing for a while now. Writing over a printed sign is unprofessional and confusing. Several people, most of whom needed supplies for babies were turned away, unaware of the time change.

Its a great store to shop at except when you need help with carry out items, the last 3 times I have been there i have had to wait at least 15 minutes sometimes 20 minutes for someone to show up.. 😡

Its a Supercenter, but for whatever reason its not as Super as Most Wal-Marts, example...Ottawas is much bigger, it seems to have more items to choose from.

Very interesting layout but everything was easy to find.

I needed seven soaker hoses for some trees I planted along my property line. I went in to look and they were sold out. I asked a clerk and she said that they were indeed sold out but would get some in in two weeks. Okay, lll order online.So I go to the website. It shows the hoses are available at the store. Okay, weird. I try to order but I get a captcha. It says I failed and need to try again. I pass the next. Then another loads. It says find the buses. There are no buses. I skip. I fail the next. Then the captchas just stop loading.So I go to the service desk and explain my situation and ask if they can place the order for me. Im told no. I ask why not. Im told because they have to use a computer thats currently being used to look up a receipt for another customer. I ask if they can place the order after they finish with the other customer. Im told sure.So I wait a few minutes and another employee comes over and asks what I needed help with. I explain what I needed again. She tells me she can only order items that Walmart carries. I say it is something Walmart carries. She asks if I looked to see if there is a spot on a shelf for it. I tell her yeah. She looks up the item and asks why I didnt just order it myself. Im irritated, and explain that I couldnt get past the captchas. She says to hold on and walks away.An elderly employee comes over next to ask what I needed. I explain it all over once again and ask to have the order placed. She says no. I ask why not, since I was told someone could. She says she cant because she doesnt know how. Okay, so I ask if theres someone that does. She says yeah, but itll be a wait. I say, well, Im already here and waited this long so Ill just wait.Eventually a woman named Raquel comes over and asks what I needed. And, thank god, she is actually competent. She goes back and scans the item and it says there are hoses available but clearly none on the shelf. She says shes going to go check the truck that arrived today and the stockroom. She comes back but no luck. So she helps ordering the items online and tells me to call her tomorrow and shell have an answer for when Walmart will be able to ship the hoses for me.

Lost my car keys 3 wks ago went back today they had them great shopping there

Its Walmart lol wasnt to busy I was in and out. The employees are always great here.

They did not have what I wanted so, I ordered it from Amazon...

This Walmart definitely needs a little help. They either have a selection that is minimal or stuff is expired. Not sure why but most of the crew there are nice I have a couple of them that it just makes the day when you say hi to them and smile under that 😷 .

I walked into the store and noticed that social distancing regulations were in place. Sam noticed how inconvenient such regulations were for me, so she ended up going to the W.H.O and got rid of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to Sam, Coronavirus is no more and the social distancing is removed. I can now buy my goods without a que! Thanks Sam!

The grocery pickup system is bad but the storm stacked inside are good but when picking up make sure you get what you order or it isnt smash

Told me I couldnt check out. Got emotionally abused by being yelled at. If there was another place to go I would go there instead but gotta love small towns

I only go when I cant get things anywhere else. Just too much, too big, too far away.

Shelves were over half empty. Only had 2 cashiers working and the store was untidy

This little old lady behind me was getting very upset at the old lady in front of me because we had to wait for a price check on some apples. Over the course of what felt like a hour this little old lady bumped my cart with her motorized cart about 5 times while muttering (loudly) For God Sakes. 4 stars for the free entertainment. 2 stars for the slow check out time.

Pretty decent Walmart, for one of the smaller locations. One of my complaints would be the lack of support in the customer service center. Theres almost never anyone behind the counter, so every time you go in you have to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to call somebody over (if they even will, sometimes theyll just give you some kind of excuse). And if there is someone behind the counter it seems like the line is always backed up to the electronics department. They definitely need some consistent help in the customer service center. - p.s. Shout-out to the self-checkout cashier lady. Shes awesome.👍

If I could give zero I would. Walmart sells products then doesnt want to stand behind them. Refused to refund a BHG product because they didnt make it but they sure as heck sold it without a problem.

A very well kept Walmart. Several in the Chicago area are less than exemplary with keeping up with store cleanliness, stocking, and facing. Unlike those, this Walmart is clearly kept up and the staff I interacted with were very friendly. Definitely a positive a Walmart experience.

Does Sam still work here?

They are very limited on selection, compared to other Wal-Marts in the area. You are most likely better off driving to Ottawa or Pontiac if you want anything other than the bare essentials. Also the staff here can be not as friendly at times, while other times they seemingly wont leave you alone.

Very rude! If I could give a 0 star I would. Theyre no signs saying 1 toilet paper package for a customer. I got 2, one for my elderly family member, and one for my house. I was at self checkout about to pay, I had my 4yo daughter with me. I turned to put some stuff into my cart and when I turned around the girl worker was wedging herself in between my daughter and the cart taking the tp out of my cart and started taking it off the register and then said I can only have one. She could have told me, and then asked for it before completely ignoring (social distancing) to my daughter.

Streator store quiet,friendly helpful associates

Can always find what your looking for, but very busy.

One of the better walmarts Ive been to. Needs to be stocked more but very clean and friendly. Produce was fantastic. Everything was full and fresh except the rib eye steak. Self checkout crashed when I used it and was worried it charged me twice.

Wanted to buy the stuff. They had the stuff.

I went here, expecting the typical Walmart experience, but then I realized Sam was working! Boy let me tell you that changed everything! I couldnt find the aisle with the yogurt on it and Sam materialized a cow out of thin air, milked it, added the strawberries and made it into yogurt herself! Then, when I walked past the soda aisle, I saw a huge spill and an old lady about to step in it and slip and fall! But before she could even place one foot in it, Sam popped out of nowhere with a straw and drank up the entire spill, saving the old ladys life! When I got to the frontend, all of the registers were closed except one, with huge lines to the back of the store. But then Sam came to the rescue, and she operated all 13 of the registers at the same time, while still being clean fast and friendly! She really is a miracle. She should be Cashier of the Universe!!!

Terrible employees in self check out! no signs stating 1 per person so I told em to assume they do so and very rudely snagged things out of my hands and cart then talked about us so they knew they didn’t like us just for letting them know! Terrible rude people should of listened to others when they said not to shop there plus the fact they are older women is very sad!

Bad bad bad customer service. Most workers would give attitude, with facial expression and tone of voice. Thumbs down for them.

Backwards from outs in Peru, IL but nice place.

Got in and out (eventually) and Walmart had what we were looking for at a VERY good price. Were very happy with that and the employee who directed us to the section we needed with a smile. Just wish theyd run more cash register lines and find a way to open the garden center gate during the winter so people who park there can get in and out without having to backtrack the length of the store.

I am 67 and needed a electric cart to shop and it doesnt matter what. Walmart you go to with all their millions . They dont spend money on the maintenance of their carts. I went to buy to get a ps4.But my cart would run and stop. So I just left! Not one Employee even asked if I needed help They Dont Care About Senior Citizens.Jeffrey Bogdanski !!

Im glad you asked!The checker was packing heavy jars in one bag to the point she had to double bag. I asked her to pack them lighter as it was way to heavy for me. She informed me that Walmart told them to packed at least 6 items in each bag. Here is what was in 1 bag. 1qt of half and half-1 jar of salsa-2 jars of Aunt Nellies beets-4 tall bottles of sparkling ice beverage.I explained I was senior citizen and that was my response. It never made a difference. Once again Walmart, profit before customer service and your employees. Whos gonna take the heat? YOUR EMPLOYEES!!!!!!! I spend a lot of money in your store and believe me my patience is wearing thin!!!
