Tired from a long drive from Miami, we decided to stop by Publix Liquors to get some liquid relaxation. We met Jerry as we entered and we’re greeted warmly with a genuine smile. He was so incredibly helpful and energetic. Customer service comes naturally to him. We went in with the intention of getting a bottle of Vodka but left with enough liquor to stock a bar! He helped us take advantage of current promotions and save money. We’re thankful for people like Jerry. He made us feel appreciated as customers. He represents Publix well

My husband and I decided to stop in and grab a sandwich while we were out driving around. I ordered the chicken tender sub and he ordered the Italian sub. Both were terrible. The service was terrible. I’ve had sandwiches at other Publix delis and they were good. These were probably the worst sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I could only stand to eat a couple bites of mine. This location definitely needs better training and supervision in the deli department

Really awesome store. Great staff. Didnt know but I wanted shark steaks and the fish guy told me that you can order it and they call you when its there. Absolutely amazing.

Im happy to see that we have a full-service supermarket located so close to where we live. The store always tends to be merchandised well and they have a good selection. The one thing that I dont like is the pricing. I think this store in particular is generally priced higher than the majority of the other local stores. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful each time we have visited the store.

Small grocery. We didnt find two items we had hoped to get. You dont need a store card for discounts. Got fried chicken for dinner. It was rather spicy for my taste and wouldnt get again. Husband can handle spice. Usually the spicier the better but he felt it was on the overly peppery side. Cashier and bagger were both very nice.

Non sale prices are high, but BOGO sales are great.Store is always clean, well stocked and employees are very helpful, friendly and efficient.

Very useful place to put the Publix. No issues, but Publix in general closes at 9. Just a warning if anyone is used to Target or Walmart closing at 11.

Clean store but a very limited selection due to its smaller footprint. The meat section is barely there. Plan on purchasing your barbeque meat before you come on the 🏝 island.

Go to Supermarket. This is my go to local supermarket on Island. They have the friendliest staff. Its a compact Publix with all of the basics and then some. During season it gets really busy with the snowbirds, so go early or late. They always have lots of specials. Prices are a only a bit higher than the mainland.

This Publix is well stocked with a good selection of items. As a non-pet owner, the large aisle of pet items seemed like pet owners would be well covered!

We went in to grab some water for our week vacation and came out knowing so much about the area super friendly staff!

Publix is one of the better grocery stores in Florida to go to for shopping they have practically everything you could ever want to take home for breakfast supper dinner give them a try

Great Publix store, they always have everything I need and the people are real people. They are friendly and very helpful and no matter who it is, in the bakery, seafood, produce, manager, cashier or bag person who helps me out to the car they treat me like family. I really appreciate that.

I’ve been shopping at this particular Publix for approximately 2 years and I‘ve never had a bad experience in the Grocery department, but the Deli absolutely needs work.I decided to go for a a regular chicken tender subs along with some chicken tenders for lunch around 11 in the morning. I expected it to be busy once I got to the deli, considering the fact that it was pretty close to lunch hours and the fact that I generally see a few people loitering around the Deli when I pass by.In this rare case, it was totally empty and I was the only one there. I waited to be called to the counter for an associate to assist me with my sub, and there was one lanky, white lad with tattoos that was roaming around the kitchen, not actually doing anything. He made eye contact with me several times and kept walking away, so I assumed he was busy doing something else. I continued to wait until another associate came, but there didn’t appear to be anyone else that was available to help, so about 3-5 minutes later, the same fellow that kept making eye contact with me calls out, “You’re STILL here?” I thought he was talking to a co-worker, perhaps, as he wasn’t quite speaking at room level and his voice was dripping with annoyance. Surely he wasn’t speaking to me, I thought; I hadn’t even spoken to anyone and was still waiting for help! I kept waiting for a few more seconds and he walks closer to me from behind the counter, snaps his fingers and says, “Excuse me, hello, what do you want?” in the most rude manner that I’ve ever heard. Now, I’m not one to ever go out of my way to complain about an associate, but this particular individual was so unbelievably rude and callous... this cannot be a good look on the store, and based on him appearing to be middle-aged, I’d assume he’d have mastered social etiquette skills, or at least how to fake it. I was so turned off by this encounter that I just shook my head, wished him a good rest of his shift and left. Not only was my lunch wasted and I didn’t get my sub nor tenders, but that lad just left a vile taste in my mouth overall for the Deli at this Publix.Please, do better with your employees. If you’re going to hire lads like this one, at least don’t give them the task of interacting with customers. Terrible for business, I’d imagine.

They carry Michaels of Brooklyn sauces and gravy!! The best!

It was pretty much pleasant and most people were practicing social distance and wearing mask. But I was surprised to find some families that werent wearing their mask. I thought they had to go in with a mask. I found everything I needed and the place looks great.

Most of the Publix grocery supermarkets are great compared to others. Maybe on the higher side. However, the quality is usually better and the staff are much more professional & courteous. The produce quality is so much better. The deli is awesome but ordering & expecting the order to be ready when you are told it will be is another thing. The prices are higher than usual here due to location. That is to be expected especially during the tourist season.

Although the store itself is clean and staff are friendly, I wouldn’t suggest ordering online and expect it to be prepared properly or at all for that matter. I placed an order for a sub an hour out from my pick up time and when I arrived the order had never even been noticed by staff. I ordered ahead because I had been working for 12 hours and knew I would not want to cook when I got home, instead I had to wait for it to be made and half of the ingredients were no longer available because they had been “put away for the evening” I will never use the deli again and I regret paying for the sandwich I finally received. I ended up remaking the sand which when I got home since my fridge had more available that wasn’t “put away for the evening”. Very surprised since I’m usually very pleased with service and have been for years.(Staff still friendly and store still clean, I suppose I shouldn’t let one bad experience ruin it for me maybe the deli worker was just having a bad day)

Probably one of the best supermarket chains going. Stores are clean stocked well,and if you dont see it,ask one of the associates and Im sure they will go and look in back.plenty if parking .prices are in the middle range.

Great store

My family and I were in the area around June 18th weekend. While staying on the Island Publix was close and had everything we needed as usual. Clean and well kept store. Management and employees were great for assistance.

One time (July 2018) my friend bought lunch meat from here that lasted until November of that same year. He ate it and is still here to tell the tale.

Hutchison Island Publix was cute on the outside and functional (big) on the inside. Great staffing and customer service was excellent.

We were in the area for Fall Break and due to the rain and dinner running long, we arrived 2 minutes before they closed. They not only welcomed us in, but helped us to find the items on our list and stayed 15 minutes past closing time to get us checked out and on our way. And they did it all with a smile, not once making us feel like we were inconveniencing them! Thank you to CeeJay, June, and the entire staff for welcoming us out of towners!!

Very kind staff that goes above and beyond to make sure youre taken care of, helping by taking out the groceries, helping to find items, etc. Great customer service and the store is smaller than the Jensen Beach store.

Chicken tender sub is on sale, asked for one with a little marinara sauce and provolone cheese toasted. The woman behind the counter looked at me like I had six heads and said its not against the rules but NO. Sorry for the unreasonable request Hutchinson Island Publix, I go to your store every day Im working for lunch, maybe I should take my unreasonable requests elsewhere...

Any public is great but the deli at this one went above and beyond. They have me the vegies in a separate bag and condiments to go so I could eat the sub tomorrow.
