Place is a joke. Fully understand raising price for something you have that is hard to get, but $180 for a $60 dollar bottle of liquor is a joke. And then proceeds to tell me “ya we can’t sell it”. Wonder why.
Seriously this place is scary but its so convenient to Publix I keep coming back. Make sure you request your receipt if you pay by card.
Profit is not a 4 letter word.Staff is incredibly helpful 👌.
Great selection, reasonable prices, and absolutely delightful owners.
Great selection, jacked up prices. $50 for Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare? Come on...Edit: I see the owner has responded, mentioning that instead of charging $50 for a $25 product, they are now charging $40, so I guess all is well.
Owners are great. Their rude employee complains about scanning tickets. Dont get him off his stool or else...
Interesting selection.Sort of pricey.
Good pricing, but, Winn Dixie is so much cheaper. Best for emergency stops only.
Best prices around..
Salesman is rude and they mark up their liquor a lot. Won’t go back and suggest you don’t patronize this store
We didnt think this nice little liquor store, right beside the Publix store would last, because across the street was Walgreens Liquors. Guess what! That was several years ago, cant quite remember how many, and Star is still there, still stocked well with items not easily found at other liquor stores (like Akvavit) and still with quirky, friendly people to answer your questions and give an opinion if asked. I am rarely disappointed when looking for something and the prices are okay on my budget. Ive noticed, recently that the Walgreens is beginning to carry some of the items that only Star carried before ... hmmmmm, competition?
Good place for all your liquor needs.
Great prices and Service
Very expensive but convenient
