I recently got a few parts here for my boat. All the items came in the mail faster then expected and was amazing quality.
We manufacture parts for boat companies and have used BoatStore USA for the past few years and have had no issues at all. They send tracking numbers in emails so I know when to expect my items and everything has always been packaged well.
Worst customer service in the world, dont buy from this place. Ordered 2 day air on a part that they showed shipped next day, one week later called and they said it would show up to my house that Wed. Called Wed. to find out they cancelled my order because they no longer have the part. This website sucks!In response to the added information from the owner. At NO time did they ever try to contact me and refund my money. EACH step throughout this disaster I had to contact their company. I was specifically told that my part would be at my house wed. when I reached out to them Monday afternoon. When I called Wed., when still no part arrived or no confirmation from them, and I called again!! I received this comment, Im sorry we cancelled your order because we no longer carry that part and I said when were you planning on contacting me and letting me know this? If your gonna order something 2 day air and it takes this place 2 days just to process, then whats the point. The point of the issue is this shop had to turn around and order my part from another vendor, so basically they are just a middleman in the whole process. You are better served going out and researching a shop that stocks and carries more parts.

Excellent customer service! Received propeller in 26 hours after ordering. Nice people run this company.. Some customers give them negative feedback because they order wrong parts/search incorrectly and get pissed. Boat Store USA gave me best price online for parts and shipping!! Terrible customer service and poor quality products. I ordered two, both arrived with problems then I find out I have to pay for the returns plus a restocking fee and thats if they decide the product is in fact faulty. Id recommend finding another company that has a better return policy
This is a follow up to my previous review of Boat Store USA. I did receive a email from them stating why there had been no update on shipping and that their phones were down when I tried to contact them. I did receive a shipping notice today. They even shipped my parts by FedEx for a Saturday delivery even though I was not there to receive it. Thank you BoatStore USA for doing the right thing and following through. I will order from you again.

Just backed out of a big order because of all of the bad reviews. Where there is this much smoke there has to be fire. I dont support companys who do not appreciate my business. Ill spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Buyer Beware ! Bought a common in stock item, then found it was the wrong part. I returned it in the unopened box and they charged me 20% for putting it back on the shelf. If you buy anything in stock from these guys dont expect to get a refund if you need to return. I will not make the same mistake buying from them again. They are the only vendor who charges 20% to return any item even if it is common in stock part.
If it were possible, I would give zero stars on a web purchase from BoatStoreUSA.I was looking for a very specific bracket for a hatch spring, something called a reverse ball. Sure enough, there it was pictured on one of their web pages, just what I needed! The title even said reverse ball. They were priced right so I ordered them and another item.When they arrived, I was disappointed that the ball was NOT a reverse ball, but something called a forward ball. The picture was a reverse ball, the title said reverse ball, their invoice said reverse ball, and the packing list said reverse ball. But the parts werent.I cordially brought this to the attention of customer service: please send the parts with a reverse ball. Their response: we did send the right parts; the picture is for reference only; dont go by the title; the burden is on you to check the manufacturers part number and their web page and detailed description to confirm that what we show and what we describe is really what you want. REALLY?Ignoring that defensiveness, I gave them the Atwood part number for a reverse ball and suggested that they just order and send those. Their response: Those are special order but we can get those for you (at a much higher price). Never mind, Ill just send everything back. They informed me that theyd accept them back per their returns policy (which it turns out means I pay the shipping cost back, I lose the original shipping, and they charge 20% restocking fee). Only after I asked for a refund of the shipping costs and no restocking charge did they magnanimously waive the 20% restocking fee, but held to their position that this was not the result of an error on our part.I give up. This may qualify as the WORST customer service experience of my life. Ill spend hours making the wrong parts work rather than deal with BoatStoreUSA any longer.
WORST EVER ONLINE PURCHASE EXPERIENCE!!I ordered close to $511.00 worth of items, paid over $30.00 for 2nd day air all items per THEIR web page states in stock ships next day well they didnt order placed Thursday and received items the following Thursday. Called customer service twice and the phone rang and rang first time after 3 min of the phone ringing I gave up thinking they were closed for the day, following day called early when I know there open and same thing but I let it ring until some one answered (close to 5 min ringing). A lady answered and I explained the situation that I placed an order Thursday afternoon and it was now Tuesday the following week and still no package and no tracking number even though I paid for 2 day air. She proceeded to tell me how I didnt read the web site and that I was under the misconception that 2 day air only means its in transit for two days once they send it out, and that there is something on the web page telling me this. Well no there wasnt and in fact there is on there web page stating usually ships next business day and how many in stock. ( and please dont try to reply to this with the same response you gave your other customers with the same issue because I have screen shots to show you are wrong directly from your web page)So seven days later my package finally gets delivered by fedex. After this I read the other comments on google and many have had the same experience and and told the same. I should have read them first!! And the follow up was the same. Shame that customers are treated this way!!And I would like to add that I filed for help from Google as this is a trusted store, Google did everything they could to help me! They recontacted the store to assist in taking care of my problems, BoatstoreUSA lied to them and told Google the issue was resolved, I again replied to Google stating it was not. They contacted BoatstoreUSA again, which is where BoatstoreUSA contacted me again via phone by a supposed customer service agent LMAO what a joke, very rude, condescending. She states the same statement she told me before and proceeded to tell me that were just a Google trusted store they cant and wont help you when I stated to her that she was absolutely wrong that Google will help me she hung up the phone. Great customer service! Well just FYI Google did everything in their power to assist me and Im very happy with them, they Google did make the situation right and, Google refunded me the shipping cost. Thank you Google and as for BoatstoreUSA you all need to get you act together, you wont last long as a business with your staff not taking responsibility for your stores problems, you can see by the comments left by the customers. We all have the same issues with you, we all cant be wrong!! Take some responsibility!
Never received the product! Spent $100+ on 3 day shipping and never received a thing.. Rude customer service refused refund. Total scammer, buyer beware that you could be taken!
