We had an amazing experience at Iverson Automotive when our car wouldnt start while we were on vacation! Dave was able to help us immediately and very quickly! Very professional and kind. We enjoyed our time visiting with him, although it was short because he was able to change our battery quickly. What started as a stressful morning was quickly turned around with his great service!

Our van broke a radiator hose on our last day in town, they were very understanding and sympathetic to our problem! They got us taken care of very quickly at a very reasonable rate and even let us use a loaner while we waited! We are so grateful to have stumbled across such good people! Had trouble with and needed a hub and wheel bearing replaced on our way back to NE. They kept a bay open for us until we got there and figured out our problem right away. Got the part and we were back in an hour! Even let us borrow their truck to get something to eat while we waited! Very good service and awesome and understanding people!! Very helpful and caring, although they could not perform the service there, they help me set up an appointment with another mechanic in the area. Cleaned my battery, helped me understand the problem, made suggestions and sent me on my way free of charge. Would highly recommend this mechanic!

Iversons continue to do professional work on my automobiles.Installed a new steering wheel on 72 Suburban, unstuck a rusted 3rd door and replaced a fuse for my heater.My newest vehicle is a 98 dodge truck, oldest is 57 Chevrolet.Dave and Melanie appreciate the old classics.I donot go anywhere else!!

Would be 0 stars if I could! Timing chain broke, but blamed it on me because they decided to do $2200 worth of work without doing a thorough check of everything. Now getting a new engine after the fact!

Agreed to help me with my truck on short notice. I thought I needed a new power steering pump but turned out to only worse. A small part thats hard to find. The guy pulled it out of a old vehicle he had sitting on the property fixed it up right away and saved me hundreds. Hes officially my new mechanic.

Our friends truck broke down on a trip from Washington. When I was looking for a mechanic close by because 4 that I called in Custer(we were at Legion park) were of no help. The Ford in Rapid City wouldnt even look at it till the following week. I read the reviews for mechanics in Sturgis cuz that was our destination and called him. Thank goodness i went by my gut instinct after only a few moments of talking with Dave. See it actual broke down 2s. The first Dave explained what he thought was wrong(bad diesel) told my hubby what to do and we were on the road again. Next day truck wouldnt start so again called Dave. He arranged for a tow and fixed the very next day Fri. But he told me he would work on it thru the weekend if needed! Well it was fixed by 1pm. Not only fast, and corrected but price was astounding. Thanks Dave for helping us get back on our trip!!
