Terrible. Bought a fm transmitter, it didnt even work when i came to return it the computers were down so had to make yet another trip up there to retun it....still waiting a week later for my money to be put back on my card...very disappointing.

Like looking around. They have somethings I like at a reasonable price

Prices are still decent. Store was less than cleanly. The pig up front that you squeeze to get attention is very very dirty. And the basket I picked up had something spilled in the bottom. Customer service is ok, great depending on who you get. Customers were backed up waiting for a cashier that never came until someone finally squeezed the dirty pig. Then multiple employees flooded out from the back room. Wasnt necessarily a bad experience. Ive definitely seen nicer DGs though.

Dollar general is close to home, can usually find what Im looking for. The cashier was so sweet and friendly.

Sometimes its cheaper just to run to the dollar store depending on what you are after. Some things are more expensive than walmart though. So do your homework and go for specific things, look at the quality not the price of the item.

Couldnt find some things but I prefer Dollar General for their prices usually.

I work next door from the store, so I frequent the store. One employee checks you out, throws your stuff in a bag and starts on the next person and makes you get your own bag off the bag rack. Never a hello or Thank you ever from this person. Then there is another person who rings you up, no words other than. Are ya using a card ? Doesnt even ask if you want your receipt! I had to ask for it. No Hello or Thank you. No smile . Nothing! There was a new young gal that was friendly. I think the first one was a manager. I keep going in because I need to! Its really sad they arent different.

Dollar General is great for single item shopping! I dont have enough forks for everyone, Im running to Dollar General for plastic forks!

Extremely cheap and convenient. You got a few dollars, you got a few items. Reliable and staff are always helpful. Most items are also of Walmart quality at a usually cheaper price.

The lady who runs the store is very rude. I live close to this dg and rather drive to a different town than spend money at the sturgis location. I wish she would just lose her job since everyone says how rude she is. But until then I ain’t going there anymore.

Once again I get out in this weather, drive into town to find that your employee has again closed EARLY?!? ADVICE for others, take the extra time to drive in town to Family Dollar. Their staff is always friendly an are open at that times they have posted...

I would give this a higher rating IF the manager wasnt SO RUDE!! just was here, as usual manager CANNOT even say hello, goodmorning or even go screw yourself when I greeted her at register THEN when I politely asked her to bag my items she very rudely POINTED AT THE BAGS!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? ALL WITHOUT SAYING A WORD!!! shes AWEFUL!! I will be calling the main office as Ive been treated rudely here enough.

Staff is usually friendly and helpful. I mostly just like it for existing a couple blocks from my house when I need milk or bread or tp.

Very good 👌, Wish they can start closing at like 10 or 9:30 at night. I really love visiting here and getting a Google Opinion Reward Notifcation. The ony bad thing is, They keep running out of food everytime we want like the Banquet Buffalo Spicy Mac And Cheese. Those are my favourite.

I was at the location on 1539 E Chicago Rd, Sturgis, MI and had my 4 year old nephew with me. He needed to go to the bathroom and when my mother asked the cashier if he could use the restroom she responded by saying “yes if you wanna fix the plumbing” . I rushed out of the store without buying anything to take him to the gas station across the street. Unfortunately I didn’t make it in time and he had an accident in the car and was embarrassed. Needless to say I will never spend my money at this store again.

The cashier today was rude . Throwing my pop in the bag and when I ask her please double bag my pop she said I can grab as many as I like. I told her I couldnt since I had other bags in my hand already and she completely ignored me when I said how ride that was.

Always prompt service and great staff, store is always clean.

Sturgis dollar gen is the worst! They dont ever have anything in, and there is NO customer service at all. Even the manager is rude and nasty to people. No wonder they cant keep anyone employed!

The manager here is VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! I have been going through reading other reviews and seems like everyone else believes she is rude as well! Was just in this store waiting almost 10 minuites in line and was told the machines were down. And then she tells everyone to get out in a ride manner. I WILL NOT be returning to this store!

One of my favorite stores. But now I have to go somewhere else for some things they did a reset and carrying most of the things I went thier for. But its still my favorite store. Staff is friendly some of them are. They do need more people working. Every day. And they need to keep the shelves stocked all the time and they dont do they . The last cashier I dealt with there made up my mind to never return to this store. She was very rude, made us wait almost 5mins before coming to the register, then pushed thru my daughter and I but never said a word.

The Work Team is friendly and helpful. Clearance prices are great as well. However, the isles are often a mess and not stocked :(
