I really wanted to like this place. The staff was friendly and informative. I liked their online inspection report system, and I appreciate that they do free inspections. I was planning on returning to them to get a laundry list of routine work done, but after being told they couldn’t fix a particular mechanical issue, and being sent to two different body shops that they recommended and given the same answer, I’m frustrated and left with no options but to find another mechanic.If you can’t/won’t fix something, that’s understandable. But please don’t send me on a wild goose chase finding someone who will.

Ive been going here for years. They helped me avoid a bad purchase and ended up with the car of my dreams. They gave me a free inspection and kept me from panicking when I felt my traction slip coming down the steepest gravel mountain road. I dont even understand how they got a house up there. But I made it like they said I would. So blessed to have access to knowledge of these honorable men. Love the new receptionist too🤩shes so sweet.

Could not and did not balance my tires correctly. Took to another shop after problem persisted and found the balance job Fenski did had been done incorrectly. Second shop took the necessary time balance the tires correctly and they run great now. Edit 2-22 ! Love the Fenski - response they cant find record of me being there! Excellent display of integrity. Same thing happened when they told me they balanced my wheels properly.

Have had my cars serviced here and Mercedes had to be picked up on side of road day after they changed oil. Cost me 1400 dollars to fix what they messed up. Had my daughters ford focus fixed January 10000 miles later she almost had a head end Collison because of brakes they charged us 800 to fix and wont honor warranty. Eant to charge us another 600. Everytime we go its 700 dollars. Truck we had fixed there too air stopped working next day. Inept repairman and just look to charge for repairs not reliable. Dont use this place unless you want to spend 800 dollars for nothing they back.

Saw this gem of a car repair shop on my way back to Sandy Springs and it had good reviews. Now I know why. Another reviewer said that it reminded them of an old school shop where you don’t feel taken advantage of and you feel appreciated. I concur with that statement. Very good experience here and I’m happy. I took my beaten up Subaru Forester to get fixed here. I was very impressed. Firstly, the shop is clean. Second, The staff here are friendly. Third, the staff are competent. The work I had performed was an oil change, a check engine light fix, and then a headlight fix. Eden checked me in and Eric did the fixing. Great work guys!

I have always had great experiences at Fenski. They are honest mechanics. Tell you if you can get something done cheaper elsewhere, what needs to be done now (priority items) and what can wait a little longer. I love the online diagnostic information they provide, like red, yellow and green items and pictures of your car issues and videos explaining the importance of each. Very informative and very friendly. They also have a lock box so you can pick up your car at your convenience by retrieving your car and keys after hours or on weekends.

John, Lori, and the entire Fenski team are incredible. They start on time, complete the job in a timely fashion, and their prices are very reasonable. Fenski Automotive is a perfect example of a small business going above and beyond to not only survive, but thrive in their market.

Very sorry to say, the last experience we had at Fenski was pretty disappointing. We needed some work done on our 69 VW beetle. In particular we had some issues with our steering column and horn. When we got it back the steering wheel is no longer set east-west but is set to north-south. We live a long way away from Fenski so we have had to search out another shop to bring it back to. Fenski contacted us and wanted us to bring it back. It should not have been left in this condition anyway. The horn does not work any more either. We always trusted what John told us and welcomed his attention to our service. We missed that on this visit.

New to the area and needed a mechanic. im very glad i gave John and Fenski Automotive a call. i called and inquired about pricing for an oil change and Johns customer service was outstanding over the phone and even said welcome to the area which was a nice touch. The oil change only took about 30 minutes and they did a check up for free. John told me about 2 of my tires being low threads and i will need to replace them soon, but did not try to up sell or push me to spend more money just simply said budget for it soon. locating a mechanic you can trust is a rarity, so glad i did.

Joe and his Team are awesome. Ive had simple oil changes done, new tires installed and lift gates repaired...all completed in a timely fashion, at a reasonable price and with a smile. I have been taking my car to Fenski for about 3 years and have always been very happy with the outcome. I feel that everyone in there is honest, which to me, means a great deal, especially when Im dealing with car issues of which I know very little about.About 2 weeks ago, while my husband and I were out of town, my daughters car was making a noise so I told her to come home from college and take it to Fenski. I called ahead to let them know she was coming and needed the noise checked out. I was informed that there would be a $95 diagnostic fee which sounded reasonable to my husband and I. We figured that this way, we would find out if there was anything wrong in the various systems and prevent something from happening when she was driving alone. They had the car for a few hours, checked it out and found a very simple but significant issue which they promptly took care of. We were so happy to hear that it was done and nothing else was wrong! I asked what the total charge was and was told, nothing today, its fine. I was astonished!! I asked, not even the diagnostic charge? No, not even that. Now I know that wont happen every time because they have a business to run but I was so grateful not only for the no charge but for their honestly. They couldve told us something else was wrong and we would have never known the difference because we are definitely NOT mechanics! I recommend Fenski to everyone I can and believe me, I dont do that unless Im sure of the work a company does. Keep up the great work and thanks again!!

My check engine light came on and as always I was too busy to take care of it. Well, eventually I had to. It was tag renewal time and the car performance was suffering. We took the car to another nationally known shop that had been servicing our car for many years. Fortunately, yes fortunately, they were not able to do the work as it was engine work and they didnt do that type of repair. They are good however at giving referrals and to our benefit referred us to Fenski!! Unfortunately for them, the work they use to perform for us will now be performed at Fenski! These guys are GREAT! The work was done quickly, my car runs like new and although it was engine work, I didnt have to take out another mortgage on my house! Extremely professional and Great customer service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing quality work done by courteous professionals!

My first experience at Fenski was great and the second was even better. Both times all work was completed with high quality and exactly at the quoted price. I appreciate the ease of making appointments, the text message reminders and the ease of dropping off and picking up my vehicles. I cant perform the more complex maintenance and service any more so it is very comforting to find a service organization that I can trust to go through my vehicles and give me detailed feedback that allows me to make informed decisons.

Guys here are always nice and have literally gone out of their way when I didnt have a ride to pick my car back up. That being said, I have had to go back 4 times for the same/similar issue, covered by warranty of course. So, they either sabotage my car to see more of me & my adorable son or Im a HORRIBLE driver. I prefer to think its the former!

I recently took my wifes Mazda Tribute to Fenski Auto for its 100,000 mile service. My wife has always taken her car to the dealership but after looking at her invoice one day I realized they were overcharging her by providing a bunch of unnecessary services like oiling her door hinges while neglecting to do basic things like checking fluid levels (unless you wanted to pay extra of course). Not only did Fenski Auto look the entire car over but they ended up doing more work on the car for less money than the dealership wanted to charge for less work. Within a few days I received an email survey to ensure I was happy with the work done and a couple days after that I also received a phone call to make sure I was happy with everything. Needless to say I wont be taking my cars anywhere else but Fenski Auto.

Guys there are friendly and the other reviews are probably real customers. My experience was terrible though. Went in with a minor coolant leak that I was pretty sure was a hose. They couldnt get to it that day, so I left it overnight.They called me the next day and asked if I had noticed an oil leak in my car. I told them there was definitely no oil leak. I have a clean driveway with no oil stains anywhere.They were polite and all of those reviews that probably arent friends and family made me give them the benefit of the doubt. I asked them to figure it out and fix it. Didnt hear from them rest of the day, so I called around 4. They told me they couldnt figure it out and I would need to take it to the dealership. They swore the whole time that the oil leak was not caused by them. I picked it up and drove home. Next day my driveway was covered in oil. The issue was not there before I brought it in, and now I have a huge issue with my motor. Just make sure you read reviews and only take your car here for the things they are known to do well. You might wind up getting asked to come get your car because it has been broken even more while trying to fix it. I dont think they did it on purpose to create business, but they definitely did it. And now I am stuck with an even more expensive issue to fix.

I am stunned at how professional Fenski Automotive is. After doing a repair on my car the problem came back intermittently, I called Fenski they took it back in and worked with the dealer to determine why it just would not work for a long period.After 2 days and 10 hours of work on their part they returned the car to me in perfect working order and not a single charge for all the extra work. The dealer told them that what happened to my car was a one in a million fluke.Thanks again you guys are the best!!! Someone else would have charged for all the extras.

I have had excellent experiences with Fenski. I was referred to them by my parents, who both raved about their service. Most recently, I had to have my car towed to Fenski because the breaks on my front left wheel began making one of the worst sounds Id ever heard when I put it in reverse. I was panicked because I was prepared to hear that it would be an expensive repair! It turned out to be something very minor...and they did not even charge me for what they had to do!!! They had it fixed and returned to me that same day. I will never take my car to the dealer again now that I have the guys at Fenski. Thank you to Jimmy and all your colleagues!!

Had a problem with the service traction light on my HHR. Would have taken it to Rick Hendricks but I felt they did a terrible job on my last visit. They charged me about $1200 for repairs and whenever I picked up my vehicle it was worse than when I dropped it off. Took the vehicle back and they wanted to charge me for the other problems that showed up while the vehicle was in their possession. Will never useANY Rick Hendricks dealership again. Greedy for money! Fenski took care of the problem without taking me to the cleaners. They were$400 less than anyone else. Use Fenski and you wont regret it.

Drove to test drive a used truck at Mall of Georgia Ford and wanted a mechanic to look at it before purchasing. Called a few mechanics but only John from Fenski Auto seemed interested in helping. Took the time to explain their process for checking used vehicles. Up front about the cost and time required to complete.Brought the truck in and they immediately looked at it. Took them around 45 minutes and then gave their recommendation to NOT buy the truck. John took the time to specifically point out all the red flags and said he would not personally risk buying that truck. His recommendation saved me from buying a bad truck and years of high repair costs. The dealership (Mall of Georgia Ford) got very defensive and pressured me to give up the repair report (which I refused) so they could help future customers.If I lived in the area (I am from out of state) I would take all my future repairs to this mechanic without a doubt.

Great and Quick service for my car got flat tire.

I had heard about Fenski through a local radio station and decided to do some investigating on their reviews. I needed to have my timing belt replaced, so I went to my local dealer first for a quote and then to Fenski. Though Fenski was a little more expensive, they offer a better warranty than the dealer ship provided so i decided to utilize their services. They have a friendly knowledgeable staff and dont seem to up sell you or fabricate an urgency if you dont replace or address a particular situation like the dealership tends to do in my opinion.Only minor fall back was that they accidentally got some grease on my car seat. In their defense they did use a plastic covering around the seat for protection. However, they recognized the issue, addressed and solved it. Hope this review helps someone whos on the fence.

Theyve serviced six vehicles in my family at any given time from Volvos, Nissans, Hondas, Toyotas & Clifford my big red, 7.3 diesel, Ford F250. They are not only affordable, knowledgeable, & professional, but also truly care about you, your car & your wallet. Im what most folks consider an OCD maintenance maniac. From John, the Service Advisor, to Mike, a diesel engine guru, they only repair & maintain what is required & not a penny more. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!I dont feel this place takes there customers seriously. We have taken our car in and after paying the outrageous bill, the car started acting up once again. When we called to try and sort the situation. We were told it was another problem with the vehicle that was never addressed when we brought it in the first time. The gentlemen on the phone was standing tall on the idea that it was the car being old. He was unhelpful he was unpolite. I understand paying for a job but in this case we paid for a job that was never completed and if it was completed then it boils down to the competence of the mechanic to inspect the vehicle througoughly. Very disappointing handled poorly.

I love Fenski! They alerted me of a faulty battery on my hybrid and I was still (barely) under warranty. This saved me $5,000 and I am forever a Fenski customer.

I had a rather unfortunate experience recently with Wal-Mart Automotive that has made me a forever Fenski customer. I had been a Fenski customer in the past and had great experiences, however, I really needed to get my oil changed and was at Wal-Mart shopping so I decided to let Wal-Mart go ahead and do it out of convenience. When I finished shopping and went to pick up my car, they informed me that they accidentally drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil and they would have to tow my car to the dealership to get the transmission fluid replaced because they didnt have the tool to open the seal. So I called for a ride home and waited on Infiniti to finish the car. When they employee of Wal-Mart delivered my car to my home the following afternoon, I was told that the oil still hadnt been changed and they asked when would be a good time to bring the car back to Wal-Mart Automotive for an oil change... Needless to say there was no way in heck I was taking it back to Wal-Mart. I set an appointment with Fenski for the following week upon the recommendation of many friends in the community. They have the friendliest staff around and they very honest and dependable. There were no surprises at my last visit. I will never take my car any where else. The prices are excellent and it is worth the few extra minutes of drive time to know my car is in good hands! ~ Forever Fenski Fan!!! :)
