You guys need better road signs or rules for the pharmacy drive through. People zoom through to the road behind, nearly hitting the people in the drive thru line. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
Shopped here before going up to the mountains with my daughter and family on a recent visit to Georgia. Great store with wonderful produce. My grandson did very well pushing the shopping cart. As we were leaving a clerk at self checkout gave him a couple stickers. He was so happy about that. I look forward to shopping here again.
Kroger has to be the worst grocery store of all time. Publix is far superior in every way. Employees at Kroger are rude and there is nobody working in customer service. It’s ridiculous.
Kroger is a great place to shop, prices are not too high meat and veggies are fresh, everything is clean Except the occasional mess made by a custom or an employee but are clean withen minutes. Most always well stocked (unless people panic) customer service is great and most have a deli that you can buy fresh cooked food, some if not all even have Starbucks Coffee, the same with clenics...
High prices and u have to bag your own groceries, but people shop her to support them but they wont even get help to bag the groceries.
Great customer service when doing curbside pick up over last year and a half
One of the worst experience with there pickup service. Tried to discuss with a manager and they absolutely refused to speak to me. Three dept managers on duty and none of them would talk to me. Someone named Flacker was the worse. I dont know who the general manager is for this store, but obviously it is a direct reflection of them and there management style. Dont really expect any response back from them as they dont respond one way or the other to any social media post...they will eventually learn to pay attention to there customers.
The click list has gotten absolutely horrible. Last week I got strawberries that were rotten. This week I got salad that was a special and half was brown. My hamburger buns were bagged with shaving cream. They also never have your whole order and their substitutions suggestions make no sense. I have given so many chances but I am going to have to stick with Publix.
This location gets 5 stars because of the beautiful handmade wreaths they sell! I own 3 Xmas wreaths and 1 Fall wreath. Id definitely buy more if they had them more regularly. Id love a pastel wreath for the Spring!!! Also, the kitchen supplies section is outstanding and the fried chicken is some of the best in the area. I used to come just for the fried chicken once a week when I lived in Buford. I love they are open late (used to be 24 hours when they first opened).
Good shopping place.
Absolutely the worst experience with my grocery pick-up! I was supposed to pick-up my order between 7-8pm. Then I got a text saying your order has been delayed so come between 8-9 pm. So we went over there and sat in the pick-up area and waited 20 minutes. Then we called the number and finally some manager comes out and starts apologizing to us and the car next to us. Sorry! We close at 8 so you cant get your order until tomorrow! Kroger why would you send out a text telling people to come between 8-9pm when you close at 8pm for pick-up?Unbelievable!!!!!
For Starbucks inside Kroger. Your partners reflect you.A trainee seemed like they had no type of customer service experience, you could tell she was having a bad day or hates working there. She asked me twice if I wanted a receipt and when it didn’t work the first time, she charged me a second time saying it wasn’t authorized the first time. She charged me twice and the Manager Sandi said there was nothing she could do because I had already lost the receipt by the next day after i noticed I was charged twice. The manager didn’t even provide other solutions like calling customer service #. No sorry at all that she is poorly training people there.Another thing, the Starbucks was not busy at all. I would understand if this was a mistake because of that but people do a poor job when they don’t even want to be there in the first place.Customer service asked me for first 6 digits of my debit card and are investigating the issue.
Horrible grocery pick up experience it was awful!!! Placed an order on Monday 4/19 for pick up on Tuesday 4/20 between 3-4:00 pm. Received notification on the app that order was ready, and to check in within 15 minutes. When I am on the way. Once arrived I checked in. I then was approached by Bri who explained that they were understaffed that my order had not even been pulled yet, she proceeded to ask how many items I had? She shared that the next shift of high schoolers would be coming in soon since school is letting out. She suggested I come back later that evening or the following day. I chose between 6:30-7:00pm that evening and she agreed. When arriving back to Kroger at 6:30 I called to check in. A guy named Joseph came out got my name, and explained he would check on my order. After waiting 10 minutes (which is nothing out of the ordinary) two more cars have pulled up. Joseph comes out loads one of the cars...and then another... two cars have been loaded at this point and I am still waiting. I was able to wave Joseph down keep in mind its been over 20 minutes and he says someone will be out shortly with order. I am over it at this point. I am doing my best to be patient and understanding. A guy walks out with my order and hands me my receipt I give him my coupon and EBT card which covers my whole order I only have food items. He then leaves my groceries outside my car and walks back into Kroger. I have frozen items so I proceed to load my own groceries because I need to leave and waste no more time. Out comes Joseph with my card. I ask if everything is good and he proceeds to tell me I owe $1.00 and some change. With out a new receipt or any explanation I hand him $1.00 in change and leave in a hurry knowing I shouldnt owe anything. This has never happened to us before. I have used the grocery pick up at many Krogers since before the pandemic and this has left me very aggravated with Kroger at Sugar Hill. I cant imagine they would do this to an elderly individual or someone with children. The order was still showing open on my app two days later. I called customer service so I can share my experience. I am not trying to gain anything. KROGER PLEASE DO BETTER!! Work on the communication and customer service training. If you are so behind on orders POSTPONE ALL PICK UPS until you have more staff available.
Helpful staff and Doug is the best !
Its Kroger, you expect a clean store, courteous employees and stocked shelves. And thats what I usually see.
Staff is good.
My order was completely wrong and waiting over an hour from my scheduled pick up time. No communication about any of these issues. Won’t be back to this Kroger.
The place to go if you enjoy paying twice as much for hot chicken. 5 cold tenders $5.38. 5 hot tenders $9.59- what a con job
The staff is super nice and this place has virtually everything you need. Its clean, and though it is huge, once you go here a few times you learn to know where everything is. Great deli section as well!
Great selection of items and very very clean
Great place to shop. Probably my favorite Kroger ever.
I have been shopping at this Kroger since it opened. Today, I was disappointed at seeing so many of customers shopping without masks and a handful of Kroger staff working there without masks. If the customers choose not to respect their neighbors, why is the staff allowed to be in the produce section touching products without mask?I left the store and went to Publix next door. They have better protocols in place, and the customers there also seem to be more respectful of their neighbors.
Very good service, they are quick to and get the job done fast.
There was a very nice gentleman (who looked a little Santa Clause) at the self check out machines. He was very helpful and funny.
Great store and cool new ways to shop! The hand held scanners are awesome! No more unloading/ reloading your cart at check out and items are bagged the way I want to unload then at home!Theyve added more healthy and specialty items during store upgrade. Plus you cant beat the gas discounts and free item coupons based on what you buy!
This place gets 4 stars for the sheer selection, but loses a star for me being able to find anything. Its the largest grocery store in this area and has housewares, cooking needs, etc that will blow your mind. If the Publix doesnt have it, check at Kroger. Well lit, clean and safe parking lot. Also has a Kroger gas station. They always have good seasonal supplies and they sell natural gas for grills.
This is a different Kroger, modern and really nice. Even the layout inside is different from all others. At lunch time, they have a great variety and choices of fresh food for you to choose. Even a salad bar, they have. Great place. I loved it!!!!
The cleanest Kroger I have EVER shopped in!!! Wow! The employees are SUPER friendly and professional. Give Norman a raise! He is a blessing and I am recommending all my friends to this store to shop before our House Party group meets on Thursdays. Treat em right Kroger. There are some very important people coming your way soon!
This is my go-to grocery store close to my home. The staff is super nice and this place has virtually everything you need. Its clean, and though it is huge, once you go here a few times you learn to know where everything is. Great deli section as well!
This store reflects the typical decline of Kroger customer service over the past year. Had a personal bad experiencing with our special needs son. Employee miss understood our special needs son and was confrontational. Tried to address it with the manager who was somewhat apologetic but more concerned about getting his trucks unloaded in the back. Needless to say our Son will not step foot back in this store again as is was aware of what happened w the employee
Nice people work here. Very friendly and helpful.
Love this store and its layout. Have always enjoyed the deli and their wine section. You can always find something in here that is perfect for your family for a meal. The produce department is kept very nicely and there is a Starbucks should you just be coming in for a cup of coffee.
Great Store. The staff are always smiling and very helpful. The store is kept clean and well stocked. Parking isnt really a problem, but you may need to park further away on their busy days.
Terrible system of ordering. I ordered a table online gave my credit card number, I got an email about picking up next day and some one called me and said sorry we don’t have the Dinning table you ordered...Hey Kroger are you living in 18th century ? If customer orders online and give credit card you cannot sell to some one else. You have to secure it for the customer, other wise don’t sell it.
I dont know what theyre doing to this Kroger but they have started something and they just havent been able to finish it. Im having the hardest time finding things its very frustrating. I wish they would just go back to having things on sale where you didnt have to buy part of the group to get the special price its just ridiculous I dont want to have to go into a Kroger and play some kind of game. I just want to go in and get my groceries at the best price possible. Its not supposed to be like a part-time job to go grocery shopping you should not have to jump through a bunch of Hoops to get the best price!
This Kroger store is a couple of years old. It has about anything you would want in a grocery store including a Starbucks. It has a large deli with lots of prepared foods. Also a nice organic section. I recommend this store as long as you are not in a hurry as it is so large.
This was not my normal store to visit. I was in the area for a meeting. But, very nice store, had a good coffee shop and pickup some items we needed. It is a very big store almost got lost. I would say it had everything in one-stop-shopping. Found a new coffee maker on sale.
The store is huge with a large variety. My only problem is customer service. Personnel walk right by you without offering help. When you are able to find help, most times it is inaccurate (ex. location of goods).Never see a manager and rarely anyone at customer service. Check out most times is the same level of service. No one smiles, hardly any interaction other than to ask if I have my Kroger card. This review comes from many visits since the place opened several years ago. I only go now to accrue fuel points. Dear Kroger, customer service means everything in this business. If your staff isnt happy, they wont reflect it to your customers.
This is my grocery store of choice. Tanya and the gentleman that looks like Santa are the most helpful! ClickList experience is awesome and saves a lot of time.
I’ve been shopping at this location for almost 2 years now. I shop Kroger because of the value behind the simple truth organics line.Over this time I have only come across 3 employees that went out of their way to serve the customer in the store. The largest problem I have seen is the pharmacy. The wait time is always terrible as well as their willingness to help the customer while they are in front of them instead of making them wait or come back.Only a 1 star due to those few gems who have gone out of their way to serve not just my family but others as well
Well stocked
I went to pick my medical up. Got the in line at 6:58pm. There was one guy being waiting on. Not one of the Pharmacy person working there acknowledge any of the 8 people standing in line. One of the Pharmacy clocked out. The other 3 pharmacists and the other 2 techs just ignored all 8 of us. It took 19 minutes for the one tech to check one guy out. Every time I go to pick up my medical for the past 2 months it takes at least 20 minutes or more. I have had enough. Will be moving my prescription.
Kroger is my favorite big chain grocer. Always get me to spend more time and money than I expected. But in a good way. Great selection.
This is the best grocery store in the area. they now have click list which allows you to order your groceries online and pick it up without having to get out of the car. So convenient. love it.
Lately Kroger seems to be changing. I was in there Friday late afternoon probably the busiest time of the day and six checkout registers were closed. Today while I was shopping someone came up to me and tried to talk me in to signing up for a new improved Kroger card that’s attached to a credit card. Looks like the focus is shifting from customer service to bottom line improvement.
Very good variety of products. Excellent staff! Open until 1am most days... Can be messy at times.
There was an instance where self check out machine ran out of paper for the receipt, as a result somehow I didnt cash back as requested.. An employee immediately recognized the situation and fixed it, no questions asked. This Kroger is a trustworthy place to shop, their products are low-cost but decent you will not be disappointed shopping here.
In calling around to find dry ice, I called this store. Was told No, we dont have Dry Ice!Guess what Kroger, you lost my business, and makes me wonder how much more you lost due to your worker not being trained? Lazy?Or just plain doesnt like her job?Im leaning further away from shopping here!I have tried to give you my business but YOU keep pushing me away!
Shopping experience was all good, but some of the employees on our way out were rather rude. One employee called another worker with the carts in a long line and he nearly rammed into my dad at the exit and then didn’t even look at him as he proceeded to ask what the other employee wanted. My dad had to speak up and say excuse me and that they almost hit him, and then they just looked confused and didn’t even apologize. The one working the shopping carts began to say that it was because he was being called by the other worker without even looking at my dad. They just went back to talking and we had to squeeze past them to get out because they were taking up the exit. Normally I’m not one to complain, but I found this pretty disappointing and rude of the Kroger staff.
Thus is the best grocery store Ive ever been to. The selection is awesome, and prices are great. I love their Simple Truth Organic products!
Consistently out of sale items..... Most times I have to go to Publix across the street to get what I need.
This is my neighborhood Kroger. The store is only about 5 years old, everything is still so shiny and new. The employees always make you smile and its always clean. I gave it 4 stars because they took away ample parking for their new shopping app program so its hard to find a parking spot after work. Maybe I should try the shopping app lol!
One of the largest Kroger stores Ive ever seen. They have absolutely everything there. Very clean store and helpful staff.
Always a pleasure to shop here. Especially when Doug is on shift. Happy New Year Santa! 😉
Good affordable hot ready-to-eat foods, as well as, take aways. Competitive priced groceries. Well stocked . Friendly staff. Hang out cafe & internet area, free Wifi . This is more than a grocery store, I love hanging out here. Free Fridays items weekly .
The guy that looks like Santa claus makes every trip worth it. I love this Kroger. And I love Kroger Santa. Hes awesome. Whatever youre paying this guy, double it
I cant help but notice that things have gone down hill in the past two weeks. Outside the cart corrals are over filled and the trash cans overflowing. The shelves are not as well stocked as usual and for the third consecutive visit Ive had to bag my own groceries at check out. Simply put this kroger seems to be struggling to keep staffed, one of the pitfalls of a good economy I suppose.
Hands down one of the cleanest and nicest appointed grocery stores around. Always improving and looking to make it better. They have friendly checkout people and you never have to wait very long. Their craft beer and wine selection is top notch. I drive waaay out of my way to shop here for all my groceries.
Extremely dissatisfied customer. I got hamburger buns from Kroger yesterday for dinner and when I opened it it had fungus all over. Very shocking how such a big store chain has such a degraded and unhygienic stuff out there for sale. Will never go back. Wish I could post pictures here to show.
Worst Kroger shopping experience I have ever had. This place should not have a Kroger name to them. The people who work there are clueless, rude and unprofessional. They literally lied to my face when asking if chicken tenders were fresh, stating yes they were no more then 30 mins old. Come to find out they were more like 3 days old and hard as a rock. When asking if they could make a new batch of tenders, the one guy yells he wont cook for another 30 mins. Its chicken tenders, no cooking involved, just dump the tenders in the oil and wait 10 mins and tada! Good luck calling and trying to get a hold of someone you will either get hung up on or told to hold and they will eventually hang up on you. Would avoid this place like the bird flu.
I love shopping here. Quality people and groceries. Good wine & alcohol selection. Fresh foods always look good.
When the seafood department says closes at 9 pm, would you expect to close at 8:30? Kroger needs to reevaluate their staffing. When you call in to order before they close, they want you to come in and will not take phone orders, but when you come in before they close, they dont want to take your order... Kroger... Why do you have a department that cant stay open the proper hours?
The check cashing policy is a joke. They have never cashed a check for me. The mask policy isnt enforced. You will probably get the virus there.
Management is not nice. Baggers will not help you out to your car, ever, even if you have multiple 50 pound bags of dog food. Check out lanes may or may not be open. The staff in the self check-out is very friendly, as is the crew in the pharmacy. Store is huge, which makes it a challenge to make a quick run to the grocery.
I have mixed feelings about this Kroger. I am a organic shopper and I was very upset to com in one day after their changes to find that they got rid of the organic section and mixed all the products in through out the store. It will not take me LONGER to find everything I need. I know i am not the only one upset by this. I rather not shop there anymore if I have to go to each isle to find what I need when there use to be only ONE designated section for everything I needed. I will go shop at Sprouts.
Store is greatSome employees not so much. The baggers and cashiers like to carry on conversations with each other. My bread has been put in the bag with canned food and tomatoes in with cleaners
I really enjoyed shopping here. People were friendly and helpful, music was classic and I found everything I needed. I love this store.
A great place to shop, especially if you enjoy intense paranormal experiences of a multi-dimensional nature.
The Publix is not a better grocery store! They are rude and I have discontinued shopping there. The pharmacist at Kroger are much more helpful and nicer. The deals they run are great and the quality is good.
Love this Kroger. Its very large, from the vestibule to the perimeter. Staff here is also usually pretty nice
Well stocked and clean! Hope they remain open
Theyve recently renovated and its even nicer now. Its always clean, the employees are helpful, and the selection is great.
One of the best Kroger I visited till now. More varieties and brands to choose compared to other Kroger stores. My wife likes this stores kitchen collections. Always the Gas price is competive.
When pick out beautiful flowers for your wifes birthday (large vase) and you ask the lady at flowers to hold it and you will be back when you have two hands. Then she asks your name and puts them on the flowers. And then you come back to get them and they are no where to be found. Like the flower lady. Really? Dont worry Publix had a great arrangement. I will nerve get flowers there again. Very disappointed.
First time I visited this store was on a Christmas Eve. I needed one item and was already in a hurry. A clerk met me at the shopping carts and said Sir, youve got fourteen minutes to shop. Then this evening, years later, was one of my few visits to the store. I was looking for egg nog but the cooler had been depleted. When I asked a clerk to get some out of the back she gave the following responses: I cant go into the cooler. I dont think we have any. YOU HAVE to go to customer service. When I talked her into trying to take a look she wasnt in the walk in cooler five seconds. We dont have any. On the way to customer service I ran into another clerk named Tim. Same excuses. Same story
Poorly managed. 8/8 click list spots full and they have 1 click list runner while 4 other from staff are bringing in carts from parking lot. Waited almost an hour after arriving to get groceries. Management needs replacement if they think it’s good business practice to have 4 people grabbing carts and 1 person running click list orders while 8/8 spots are full of people waiting for their groceries. Not the kids fault, they are going as fast as they can. 100% on management.
Always finding what I need at decent prices. Good customer service and variety and close to home!
As a loyal customer shopping at Kroger, even in different States, the Sugar Hill location is the cleanest, full of the kindest, sweetest, most caring employees ever!!!
This Kroger has great customer service! They do kids chef lessons and Halloween parties in the fall. The bakery always offers a cookie to my kids so that they want to go grocery shopping when I go.
Great customer Service!
Great price... iffy stock... they appear to always be out of stock on something I buy weekly... i.e. my favorite flavor of Activa.
Sugar Hill kroger is an excellent place to shop. Great employees. Wonderful customers. Beautiful place to shop.
Prices were decent, however, the deli was pretty bad. After waiting 10 min with only 2 other people in line they prepared our sandwiches. While doing this the employee took her phone out with her gloved hands and proceeded to scroll through her nasty screen, and pocket her phone. Then she began to make the sandwich. Gross. We left without our sandwich
It was great except the bagger missed one container of Ragu Sauce. I had to come back for it. But nobody is perfect. I am not upset.
Wow, nicest Kroger Ive ever been too. Good vibes, clean, spacious, and a nice sperate organic section by the produce. Props to the management here!
Its all good IF they can stock the shelves more frequently...
Better than most other Krogers. I do shop at Kroger mostly and this one is always clean, good deals, and usually well stocked.
I would like to say that there is a lady at the register named Dafina, she has the most radiant smile with an Amazing attitude ..she always is eager to help and such a people person ! She makes you feel welcome, like family!!!
This Kroger continues to going downhill. The shelves do not appear to be stocked on a regular basis. It is most disappointing and frustrating that there are rarely enough cashiers/baggers staffed. If I am able to have my groceries scanned by an actual cashier, I still have to bag them. Kroger needs to get back in touch with their clientele. If I wanted bag my own groceries I would shop at Aldi.
It has a great selection of pretty much everything and the employees are always helpful and polite. I do pretty much all our shopping here.
This Kroger is newer and clean and neat. The only problem I have is I come in 1 time a week and almost everytime they have rearranged the alses. They are also almost always out of milk, and other common items. 4 out of 5 isnt bad.
Empty shelves no milk, no tissue due to coronavirus scareLooks like mask are Not mandatory anymore. Saw a man coughing right above fruits and he had no mask on.
This is one of the better Krogers to shop. Not only does this location provide some of the additional SuperStore items, its SupperClean (the apples look polished theyre so shinny), they keep the shelves stocked so youre not searching for the last one. And, the staff is SuperKnowlegable, SuperFriendly but you can tell they take SuperPride too provide a SuperService to round out this Super Kroger.Oh yeah, and Santa Claus works here also. He goes by his secret identity, Doug while hes checkin his list. But, kids I promise you, its Ole St. Nick himself! Hes the best!!!
Best grocery store around. Tons of specialty items as well as the basics. Service is hit or miss. Can get crowded so I like to go early. If you want Starbucks be prepared to wait.
Large store. Has great selections in Bakery, deli and organic products.Huge wine and beer offerings.
Probably one of the best Kroger stores in the area. Its new, always clean and well stocked.
Incredibly helpful staff, large store with lots of options including a decent healthy section with vegetarian and vegan options.
