Almost a month ago I drove my car in to the shop working...picked it up in pieces and not whole. Might of fact nothing was hooked up, parts in my trunk. Now this is after they said the car was ready. Its sad because we trusted them and they got paid 1300 and I got a vehicle that dont run and in pieces.....run as fast as you can from this shop.See pics below. These are just a few and we have video.5/14/2021In reply to the statement made below. There was no mix up yall told me me car was ready and put back together that was on a Friday. We came with a tow truck to pick it up on Saturday and the car was not put together at all. Either yall missed up or your mechanic was incompetent or you or both. All I wanted was my car put back together I did not get that even though yall had my car for two weeks after I told yall I was going to pick it up. In two weeks you all did not but my car back together...two weeks.

On 5/28/2021 I took my car to have the REAR brake pads replaced with a Groupon a purchased long time ago. I left my car there to have the job done as it would have been a pretty simple repair. I got a call that the rotors also needed to be replace. I went ahead and agreed to it. When I went to pick up the car. They had replaced the FRONT brake pads and Rotors, not the back, they mentioned that the front brakes were in worst condition, which might have been true, but I never got a call to approve the change.Not only that but the car started vibrating after 40 MPH which it did not had before. So not only did they change what I took the car in for, but now something else is wrong. If you dare use this repair shop, have watchful eye on them and do not leave the car overnight.

I wouldnt trust these guys working on my car the guy at the gate said they dont do inspections but yet they have a Groupon for inspection. And there machine was broken when I got there and had been for a month though I had made my appointment the day before...... Waste of time luckily Florence automotive also had a Groupon and could take me right away.

I have never had such an amazing experience with any other business. Willy is a great business owner with high standards. I had bought the Groupon for detailing and had stains on my passenger seat that included nail polish, PINK nail polish with an odd smell in my 2018 KIA Optima. Upon picking up my car it looked BETTER than when I bought it off the lot. All stains gone, no odor and shiny as can be. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a full detail and AM Auto & Lube for mechanical work. Trustworthy, honest and upfront; something not found in todays automotive industry.

Went twice to do inspection. First time they said owner is not there, so have to come again.Next time meet the owner and he want me to schedule a appointment.I have to let my money go to save timeNot worth going there. Better pay extra and get it done elsewhere

I got charged twice the price for replacing an alternator and after 3 days the same problem resurfaced. When I brought it back, I was told to pay for everything everything again. It was not a good experience for me.

I was not at all happy with the service I received at AM Lube. Their prices are a lot higher than other places! and when I got it back my car was much more dirty than it was when I left it. I would definitely NOT recommend using them.

Bought $12 coupon for state inspection.Guy drove car in e-brake and said brakes have metal to metal touching, failed the inspection .. his generous offer was $245 to fix the things with brakes, however there was nothing wrong in the inspection summary.I took the car to usual maintenance mechanic and he checked and said that nothing wrong, and they passed the inspection.Such a cheater!!!Edit:Guess what, they failed my second car, which passed later at other place

Horrible owner. Bought the coupon from Groupon for full synthetic oil paid 40 dollars for it. And I called them to confirm that the Groupon is accepted or not they said yes. When I went there they rescheduled me to another day. And then the next day owner told me I have a 3 dollar fee and charged me 7 dollars on the card. And I did not get a tire rotation or inspection it was oil change only. Please save your time and energy don’t bother coming here

I am here now and I just overheard the owner (I think) say no, you dont need that and dont want you waisting your money on that! What shop says that?!? That is super awesome. He has spoken to each customer waiting. Even meets them outside when pulling up. I had a friend pick me up to grab a bite before my car went in to get the oil changed and saw us backing out and he waved us back and he said is everything ok, something wrong? I told him no, my car is here Im just going to grab a bite and will be right back. He said he thought we were new customers coming in and leaving and that if that was the case was going to get us back. Way too nice and great customer service. I just found a new shop

FRAUD !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Literally had my car for FOUR WEEKS and did NOTHING, car came back with more problems than It went for.. Not only that did a FRAUD warranty claim stating my ac compresser was out when i took it in for oil and engine light and now that I toook it to a real dealership my warranty is not overing the AC issue that I NOW do have. DO NOT COME HERE !!!

Purchased a Groupon for oil change and tire rotation. Made an appointment by phone and the lady told me it is ok to bring my own oil.After I arrive and wait for 30 mins, the owner told me cannot apply Groupon with your own oil, and not tire rotation today due to short handed. I spent 1 and half hours for an 10 mins oil change and have to refund my Groupon.

They were upfront about pricing and worked with me to get my car in and out. He took the time to explain what my Groupon took care of and explained his additional recommendations which I appreciated. I overall had a pleasant experience. I would recommend calling before showing up they can get pretty busy very quickly. Also, make sure you thoroughly review any Groupons and ask questions before you purchase. I feel like a lot of the negative reviews about getting charged extra stems from not really understanding what you purchased. Thanks!

Purchased Texas State Inspection. I called for appointment availability and was told to come on in. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and a short time later, I was told my 2017 Titan truck inspection was completed and I was ready to go. Very friendly and prompt service. First time going to this place since its close to home. The experience was ok, we did get a service done here and their service price was fine but the issue with our car was not solved :( on the 2nd day after picking it up, the car was still having the original issue so we took it back to the shop. The car was kept there for about 3-4 wks and they couldnt figure out the issue or get the needed part, we finally just took it somewhere else where they fixed it in a couple of days. The needed part was actually not what fixed the issue and am glad we didnt spend that xtra money. I will say though my husband did appreciate the owners customer service.

At first the business relationship was good. Then I began to notice things NOT being properly fixed but rigged so it wouldnt fall apart. Also the owner does NOT know how to manage a business and REALLY needs an admin to help him keep things organized. He does NOT call YOU when your car is done or return your calls either. Or maybe it was just me. I believe in operating in decency and order with a spirit of excellence and he definitely did NOT exhibit that. He seems to be a nice person but is business acumen could use some help. I cannot operate in that type of relationship.

This place is unprofessional and sells false information on the process it takes to get your car fixed. I was afraid of even writing this review because William was being so shady, and didn’t want him to tamper with the repair process out spite. Nonetheless I think the community needs to know that the lack of accountability and tediousness from this staff results in consequences for the customer. This concept is very visible upon pulling into this location and seeing ample about of cars sitting there idling awaiting for service. Save your time.

This place is good for an OIL CHANGE but for anything else RUN! William seems like a nice genuine person but hes not at all, TRUST ME! He does not keep you updated on your car. I had to call him for updates everyday for the week that my car was there. Please take my advice and RUN!!!! You work hard for your money and deserve a trust worthy mechanic. Ohh and please dont sign up for a snap account. If you dont have money to fix your vehicle he would recommend snap finance. I would suggest to wait until you do have the money and go to another mechanic. Snap will charge you 100% interest! I dont want anyone to go through what I went through! Purchased a Groupon. It states to call for an appt. i called 4 times before someone finally answered. the guy was rude af and said no appt needed just show up, so i show up, n no one is available to help or to service what i needed. i get asked to wait an hour before someone can help me... um sir i left work early because i needed this taken care of...Isint that the point of making an appt? so ur customer doesnt waste their time?. everyone there needs to do better. very disappointed save ur money.

I came across this business a couple of weeks ago online. I called them just as they were closing for the day but the owner was extremely courteous & professional. He took the time to answer all my questions and offered the best rate for an oil change on my 8 cylinder engine I have come across in years. I arrived the upon their opening the following business day and was taken care of quickly. Will definitely be back for future oil changes & repair estimates.

Great place to get a quick clean when needed. The owner here is very sincere and reasonable. I got the exterior/interior package and he even gave me a deal on it due to a misunderstanding on my part about a groupon voucher. (Call them first!) I think I got what I paid for and my car definitely looks amazing compared to before. I got this vehicle off an occasion and the previous owner was filthy. These guys really made the vehicle look closer to brand new than I’ve ever gotten to see. They have other services as well for reasonable prices. I got my inspection too!

Came to redeem a $60 groupon. Was told itd be an extra $15 plus $12 fee, and then it ended up being $125 total because he didnt have the pads he normally uses for the groupon and said he gave me a better type...Also while I was there he asked me if I had got any work on my car done before. When I told him a mobile mechanic fixed my a/c he got visibly upset and said I shouldnt use mobile mechanics because when it breaks down they dont offer warranty. My a/c stopped working within a week, and a few weeks later I got a text saying that summer was coming and offered a deal to fix my a/c.I shouldve turned away when I saw the person arguing with him as I walked up, but was trying to save money smh

Amazing experience. Great people to work with. Very honest and transparent in their dealings. I shown my van for ac issues to other shop and they diagnosed to be compressor failure, while this shop did a diagnosis at a very reasonable price and confirmed it to be a Freon leak issue. They recharged, put dye etc and the ac is back on, cooling. Happy to have found this place, would certainly go to them for all my auto repair needs and recommend others too.

So i found this store on Groupon because there was a coupon for a inspection of 10.04$ long story short i got there waited 2 hours for an “inspection “ mind you inspections normally take 15-20 maybe 30 min tops.. the guy in the front (owner) tells me my car needs a axle.. i have a 2018 Chevy Malibu under 50000 miles.my car is driving totally fine it’s new and he failed my car.., so today i went and got a second one opinion my car passed i didn’t have to pay that shop because she informed me that AM LUBE AUTO CARE was definitely looking for something because a car shouldn’t even be put up for a inspection and if my tire axle was bad it wouldn’t cause my car to fail!!! So ladies beware he well try n get over on you .this is the second time i went to a shop and they have magically made something up with my car just so they could call and have me use my warranty.but i n ow how to get second opinions.. my car is 100% fine

I towed my car there and it took 2 weeks for them to get a diagnosed all of my belongings were stolen from outta my trunkIt was just a fuse that was wrong with my car they messed my starter up as wellMy car is still in that shopThey have blocked my car inside so i cant get it towed out

I really didn’t have a great experience! The place is over crowded doesn’t make you want to drive in! No restroom and did take a long time 1hr 30 min! The only reason It’s a 2 was they at least got the time right it would take on the spot!

The guys were super efficient and really helpful. Especially since I’m not a car person, they made sure I understood exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. I was given options and they answered all the questions I could have possibly had. Even when I had to wait in the office they were so friendly and it made me not mind waiting. They are the big scam CHEATERS. NEVER EVER go to this place and waste your time. I went there this morning to do the State inspection through Groupon after a phone confirmation call yesterday. They now says that the Mechanic is absent today and other excuses at the same time they are doing other repair work. They are non professional, rude, unreliable and only after money. Their shop is also in a congested place where dozens of cars are piled up. Dont waste your time.

I took my new car to this shop for a tune up and minor repair and got back a whole new car distroyed so badly i had to take to another shop to find out they did $4000 in warranty fraud and they would not even pay to make thier wrongs right buy paying for new repairs when they were responsible! They are crooks con men and they must be stopped!!!!!!!! I will be reporting them to the BBB then suing them as well.

So I got a Groupon (and it seems that a several issues revolve around this at the shop, just check the other low reviews) for brake pads. Got there and told me it would be $25 extra per pad ($100 total) because of my type of car. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, but when I called for an appointment, they never asked for information, just told me to come at a certain time. I called another shop (not just any, but one with good reviews) and they told me $20 per axle ($40 total). If the owner wants to respond, as he seems to do, he can note that I only stated facts and not my opinion. Its pretty hard to argue facts. So I traded in my Groupon because what is the point if Im not only not saving money with it, but actually losing money because I could go other places, not use a coupon, and still pay less. Again, thats a fact. And I hope he doesnt try the we use quality... excuse, because I would think somewhere that has better reviews would also use quality parts. Now, thats an opinion. Decide for yourself people. I just gave an honest review.

STAY AWAY. I don’t generally take the time to write bad reviews but I’m ticked off. If I could this business negative stars I would. I purchased a GroupOn 2 months ago and called to make an appointment and I was told by the owner William to bring it in and he would be able to get it cleaned. I drove 40 minutes and took time off of work, when I arrived the owner told me that he has too many cars to work on and won’t be able to clean my car. Told me to come back another day without an appointment. I was very upset but didn’t make a scene. I called 2 months later and asked if I could bring in the car at a specific time and William the owner said I could bring it in at 4pm, I called the next day to confirm my appointment for 4pm and he ignored my calls, then as I was on my way for the appointment and literally half way there through houston traffic, when he texted me back saying he can’t schedule me in because he gave my slot to someone else! He lied to me twice now and I find that very unprofessional and unethical. He doesn’t care about his customers. Very disappointed, I will eat the cost of my Groupon because I will never give my business to them ever again and would highly recommend you stay away from this business that takes advantage of its customers, doesn’t honor appointments and blatantly lies. I don’t like liars.

I saw an Ad for them at a groupon site call them ask to do aligment how much they charge they were charging me 10 more than on groupon but he said he would match it to just go to them. I DROVE 30minutes away when i get there they see me but they dont acknoledge me one of them walked away instead went to there office took them 5 whole minutes and a man came up to me and asked what do you need with a bad attitude once i tell him he told me they dont have time for an alignment to come back later as if i live at his convenience like dude learn how to have customer service and give accurate info get yourself a system DO NOT GO HERE

I visit with this shop was awesome....they were honest, open and knowledgeable. I felt cared for and safe. I was able to see who was working on my car and was told what was going on throughout the process. The staff was friendly comfortinh. The thing that stood out most was as customers walked in they knew them by name. This told me they have regular customers who trust them. I hope to be added to their list of regulars.

Was told that there would be no additional charges and to come in.Upon arrival, I was told that the price could not be honored for the previously discussed vehicle.The gentleman I spoke to said that he did not look up my vehicle when I called and that he always just says yes to whatever is asked advises to bring the vehicle in.Shop was dirty and cluttered, which is not a sign of a competent mechanic. Be careful when dealing with these guys.

I went in with my car not turning on, BUT my radio and lights came on, my car just wouldn’t turn over. I got it towed and told them the lights and radio came on and they assured me left and right that it was my battery. They replaced the battery and I took the car home for it to not start again. I had to get it towed back to the shop and the problem was resolved BUT I now have my airbag light on and 3/4 of my tires needed air severely. The outside of my car is covered in mud while the inside has chunks of mud scattered sporadically on my seats, floor, window, steering wheel and dash board. I really wish I could upload the pictures for you to see, it’s HORRENDOUS

Had an amazing experience here, the manager was very helpful and nothing but smiles, even when I was worried. Got my breaks and rotors fixed as well as my axel. Was kept up to date on everything. All the employees were very kind and very helpful. I am very pleased with the service.

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!I paid to get my mother car fixed for her 50th birthday. She needed a oil change and 2 brakes replaced. I was told the total would be around $600. Our 1st visit went and got the oil change done. 2nd visit it went from just needing brakes to our engine is about to explode, need windshield wipers, and there’s leak. The car all of a sudden need all this work and it’ll be good as new. I said yes because it’s still my mothers birthday week. I went $600 to $2700 just to have her car break down 2 months later. Not only that, my mother contacted then after it broke down and nothing. Despite spending $2700 no warranty was offered as well. Now I’m out of $2700 when it was supposed to be $600 but not only that my mother is out car and a job because she drove for Uber. These people are scam artists and with all stuff going on in the world right now, this says more about there character as a people. Save your money and your time! I wish nothing but KARMA to you and yours!

Probably one of the worst companies Ive dealt with.A few weeks ago, I drove by this place for an inspection only to be told they do appointments only.On 02/21 I called them to make an appointment for that day and was told their machine is broken but they are getting it serviced and I can walk in anytime before 2pm the following day for service (strange because they say they do appointments only all week including weekends earlier).Anyway, no biggie right? Well I arrive the next day and was told that they cant do my inspection because the machine broke again (it was working in the morning apparently). Instead of offering a sincere apology the guy asked me if I had called earlier today...apparently the guy thinks its a consumers responsibility to determine if a companys machines are operating the way they should before they stop by, lol.If customer service and quality are important to you, go elsewhere.

The dealer wanted to charge me 650 plus tax to installed the headlights while AM lube saved more than half. They where friendly and knowledgable and they listend to me and address other concerns for a Very reasonable price. Give them a try if you are tired of being over charged.

It is quite far from where I usually service my car but do not be decieved by the distance nor the appearance. The personnel were very pleasant and did not ignore me at all. The only downside was the state inspection machine for the cars has been breaking down for the whole week causing a delay in my appointment

I went last week to get a state inspection done and am extremely satisfied with the quick service. I was in an out within 30 minutes. Also the mechanic pointed out another issue with my car that wasnt even apart of the inspection but may have saved me from a lot of problems in the long run. Id lost my debit card months ago,cancelled the card and moved on..During my auto detailing today, the card was found and sitting on my dash when I entered my car. The detailer could of kept the card, tried to use it and I would of never known. In that one move, you now have a customer for life! Thank you for awesome service today!

This review is not about the services since I did not use it for my car, this review is because they are using Groupon for fishing clients, they offer a air filter, oil change, and change of spark plugs for 85, which gorupon said is valid for 250, I have a mustang 2005, I read that they said that some charges may be charge additional, but they want me to charge 195 more since the spark plugs are special, I know the price of the sparks area around 15 for a good one, so they basically are using Groupon to get clients and then try to charge full price for the services, stay away for the Groupon deal

There for a oil change with inspection they tell me my ride needs repairs even though it doesn’t need the repairs. a different mechanic says it does not need the repairs. Not honest. I won’t go back.

I went there to get my car detailed.. Service was GREAT!!! The guy in the office was very friendly and easy to talk to.. I barely recognized my car it was cleaned so well! I will definitely go back for any service needed in the future!!
