I didnt have an appointment but they fit me in the same day. All of the employees that I had contact with were very friendly and helpful. They did excellent work at a great price. I went in for a leak and was told it was my oil pan gasket. Then I was told I also had a coolant leak. For half the price of another repair facility, I got two problems fixed, whereas, for twice the price, the other facility would have corrected one problem and charged for another part I didnt need. First Tires staff is ALWAYS very friendly and straightforward and their service is always spot on. Thank all of you at First Tire!!

The search for a local organization was on. I found them on the 2nd page of my browser. These gentlemen were professional & fair. They greet you the moment you walk in, inform you of their game plan and diagnose your problems and explain solutions. They were attentive at every service. I like places I know that they are looking out for you. Hats off to the gentlemen who helped me. Oh they got a nice and quiet lobby.

Great friendly service. My truck had multiple issues when first going in and they were able to fix all the leaks I had. When other issues started to pop up I went back and they took care of it all.

I always have a wonderful experience at First Tire & Automotive (2303 Williams Trace Blvd). They are professional, prompt, and provide the best cusomter service. I had a minor issue this weekend, and they fixed it immediately. I am so thankful for Fire Tire & Automotive. I love having a trustworthy automotive shop for any issues I may have.

I came in for an alignment and they gave me a whole list of problems wrong with my car, the list included that I needed new windshield wipers even though I bough brand new ones a couple weeks ago. I told them my car is shaking and pulling to the right and they supposedly did the alignment, and the guy took my car for a test drive. After I got the car back it was as if they didnt even work on it. My car was still pulling to the right and shaking, so I came back another day, three hours before they close and they told me pulling to the right is normal, and if I want they can take a look at my car if I wait an hour but they can’t do any work on it. if they can’t do a simple tire balance 3 hours before they close then they shouldn’t be open that late. Overall this place seems like a scam and I would not recommend it, i went to discount tire instead and left in under and hour with a tire balance.

In the middle of a winter freeze, my vehicle battery decides to die. Thanks to J Hernandez and his team I was able to bring life back to my car quickly and expeditiously. Thank you First Tire & Automotive!!

Axle was very professional he worked with me and they actually use the AAA discount, everywhere else I went to used every excuse in the book to keep from using that discount. The only small thing i didn’t like was when the mechanic was fixing it he bent something and it caused me to have to return the same day. I don’t think he actually took it for a test drive to hear the noise or even checked it again when he supposedly put it in the bay because he should’ve saw what he did. But when I took it back the gentleman in the office part drove it until he heard what I heard and they got it taken care of and he apologized. Also I think they have warranty on their parts but not sure, so if anything happens within like 30 days of the job they did I don’t know if they will fix it or make you pay that wasn’t very clear.

I called to make an appointment for brakes. I also had do diagnostic test. Engine light had been on for quite some time. The dealership I bought the car was not helpful at all on fixing that issue. So when I had the brakes done I asked if they could fix that as well. I am very pleased with the service I received from First Tire & Automotive.

I feel as if the company tried to rip me off. I just recently replaced my back tires and when I went to get my inspection they claimed that my tires were practically bald and that’s why I wouldn’t pass the inspection. I’ve had other mechanics look at them and they’ve said they’re perfectly fine. I think they seen me and just thought they could get extra money out of me. will never be returning.

Apparently the ownership was unaware of the problem as management did not escalate my concerns to them. Upon discovering my problem they did their own due diligence and I was immediately reimbursed for my out of pocket expenses. Which brings me to ....  UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES  use First Tire & Automotive,  because when we  get our cars serviced everything goes fine 99% of the time so its the 1% that could be problematic. My car is older with lots of mileage, but I must keep it running. I was in big trouble, mechanically speaking, but James pulled me (my car, actually) out of a potentially costly situation. Another place might have taken advantage of my problem. James, at First colony on Williams Trace, is a valuable asset when you are in between a rock and a hard place. Words cannot express my gratitude for his help with my van. The other guys are great, as well, and all have gone out of their way to help me over the years.

Although the mechanic did not put back all engine plastic cover clips, and some of the clips were missing, the overall services were great!

State Inspection for 2017 F150. Dropped off for this inspection. Once prompted via text as to status, was told that the vehicle environmental hookup for testing would not function and that I had a fuse issue and it would cost $75 to change fuse. Picked up vehicle, checked fuses, no issues. Took vehicle next morning to Ford dealership and no issue with inspection...and was done in less than 45 minutes. This is typical of this shop to find issues to charge the customer with versus just fixing what was the service requested. Suggest politely refusing added services if you choose to be exposed to this type of business model.

Would never use anyone else! Always professional, fair with pricing, honest about repairs, I could go on and on! LOVE them and so glad they are here. 16 years and still using them!

Great experience. May not be the cheapest out there but the service, communication and turnaround time was very quick on an emergency wheel bearing that failed on me.

$56 for rear plate light bulb replacement. Don’t recommend for 2 reasons.1. they told you an expensive way (replacing it internally) to fix it but turned out they simply took out the light bulb cover to replace the bulb.2. one of the light bulb cover wasn’t even latch after the work done.Charging $56 with this kind of work quality is disappointing. You earned my money this time, but lost a customer forever.

I called to get a quote for a complete brake job, and was given a true estimate within minutes. After performing the inspection, our Technician informed us that the initial quote was several hundred dollars more than what was required to repair our vehicle. I was shocked! Went in to get an alignment done a couple weeks back with a tire balancing also. The wheel was turning towards the right and after they were done with it, it turns to the left now, not fixing the issue. however, they called me and I let them know the issues hadnt been resolved and they told me to bring it back in and theyd fix it for no charge and that is what they did. I would recommend this place if you want honest service on your car.

Bought tires for the Subaru a while back and had a great experience. Great price, great service. Service rep went above and beyond by ensuring the rebate card process was taken care of. Detailed information with wide range of options based on need and budget.Fast forward a couple months and I had a nail in my tire. While they were unable to help due to the location of the nail, they did not try to sell me since I had tires coming in in a few days even though it wasnt through them this time. Regardless, they did what they could and didnt charge me anything. If Im still in Houston next time I need tires, I will be getting them at First Tire.

Buyer Beware! Having an alternator replaced, I found I was charged $200-$300 more than 2 other shops in the area. Upon further investigation, they marked up the parts by 120%, instead of the usual 30-50%. Of course, its difficult to determine when the invoice is broken down simply as parts and labor, without the details youd get at other repair shops, or a dealer.The manager was nice enough to give me a call, but he stood by their pricing and practices (even after I led him directly to articles proving the overcharge).From other reviews, I suspect they prey upon the uninitiated, and those who take their quotes at face value. Their work is good, but I dont just want a competent mechanic, I want one I can TRUST.

First time here, called ahead to make an appointment for an oil change, when i got there i was helped right away & took about 30 mins to get the oil changed which was the quickest service i’ve ever gotten compared to others that take about 2-3 hours. They even sent me a link after with a vehicle inspection report which tells you what areas of the vehicle need attention along with photos which is super convenient ! definitely will come back.

Best service I have ever received. They went above and beyond to get the extended warranty to cover the repairs and do all paperwork and their work was great and very fast. They also did everything to reduce the cost. I will definitely use them again in any auto service I need.

My wife and I were in town from out of state visiting with our son and his family, when we hit a small piece of road debris that blew a tire about 4:45 on Friday afternoon. AAA was there in about 15 minutes, and had the little spare tire on by 5:10. I asked the nearest Goodyear shop, and he gave us excellent directions to First Tire and Automotive, which was about a mile away. We got there about 5:20, hoping they would have the tire in stock and could get it on (they closed at 6). Tim, the service advisor, gave me a big, friendly greeting when I walked in, and was extremely helpful. Not only did they have the tire, they had it mounted, balanced, and we were on our way but 5:50. And at a fair price, to boot! Thanks, Tim ... You guys are fabulous!
