Had a troubling experience today at this location. First, I applaud Publix for employing “differently abled” employees. Kudos to them for that. But perhaps some of the other employees could be trained to be a little more sensitive to the needs of their fellow employees. The cashier that I had today was unable reach some items on the conveyor belt unless I pushed them over to him or handed them to him. He was not able to bag these groceries and I could not reach to bag them and hand him items at the same time. Another cashier walked by us twice, looking in a different direction, and then went to help someone else bag. Then another employee came up and spoke to the cashier that was working with me and then left. At any rate, my cashier could not finish ringing up my order without some assistance. I asked a manager for help and he gladly did so. But it seemed very unfair to put the cashier in a position where he could not manage without assistance.

It appears that the deli at Publix gives preferential treatment to online orders over an in person shopper. This has been happening since they started offering online orders. A person standing in front of the deli should never have to wait when their is no one in front of them. I just waited for 7 mini lures to be helped. This doesn’t happen at other stores deli’s.

I have always loved Publix. Customer service is superb!I have always loved the pharmacy as well. Everyone is so nice & helpful. Unfortunately there is one lady that is not so nice & seems put out when spoken to on the phone & in person.

Employees are always nice here but the prices I feel are outrageous. Very few great deals only reason to shop here is if something is on sale you like.

I really like the Publix Super Market at Paradise Shoppes of Summerville. This Publix is always clean and well run. I have had a pleasant shopping experience every time I have visited here. The deli and meat department really stands out here. Shopping here is a pleasure.

My favorite grocery store chain; my favorite Publix. Employees here are so amazingly hardworking, professional & nice. Publix is truly a notch above the rest!Case in point: I hadnt found ground pork in the meat section here since before the pandemic, so when I saw a guy named Kyle stocking the meats one time, I asked if they stopped carrying it. He immediately offered to grind me up some pork, and said to give him about 10-15 mins. Told him Id continue shopping and would return. A few short minutes later, Kyle found me in a different section of the store and handed me my ground pork. Now, THAT is great service! LOVE my Publix!

The only problem I have with Publix. They need to teach the baggers to bag correctly. Dont put bread or fresh vegetables with can goods. Put heavy items in cart first and bread, chips and fresh vegetables on top.

I travel the southeastern United States Publix is the finest grocery store in the country.

Im never disappointed here. The subs and salads are awesome. Now that Im trying Keto, I notice a lot of popular Keto-friendly products there (e.g. Zevia soda, Enlightened ice cream, etc.).

Great place to shop if you dont want to go to Walmart

This is the friendliest Publix Ive ever shopped in, & that is saying a lot. I started shopping at Publix markets in 1976. This is an older Publix in a small building. They cant shop for pickup, because the aisles are too narrow, but they sure make up for that shortfall through excellent service.

Have a variety of items at an affordable cost. Great experience shopping here

Selection was good but being a frugal individual its pricy (personal issue). 😆 The tomatoes all around were not to fresh. Lines were long and only 2 were open.

Favorite grocery store in our Summerville area. The cashiers and workers are always sweet and friendly, the store is ALWAYS stocked with everything we’re looking for, and there’s always good deals for example “buy one get one free” deals that you can’t get at Walmart or other grocery stores. A sweet older man named John works in the deli area, and he’s a delight. He made my husband and I sandwiches the other night and kept us laughing and talking with him the whole time. Thank you Publix for keeping our shopping carts clean, the store stocked, and the employees happy and delightful!!

Store was clean, organized and not crowded. The pharmacy windiw woman on the other hand had some issues pulling up the file to pick up meds yet the person who was called earlier in the day pulled the file in 2 seconds and said they were ready for pickup.

Meat management is amazing

Love their subs but the Deli calendar was extremely slow. Took my whole lunch break just to get my sub combo. Many of workers running around not many taking care of the customers disappointing, not the sub but the lack of concern by the employees.

Covid 19 precautions: mask wearing, social distancing and sanitizer available.Bakery was amazing. Lots of fresh crispy delicious bread!
