GameStop at Azalea Square in Summerville is one of my favorite GameStop locations in the area and a reliable place to get the necessary gaming products you need in person all in one place. I have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here over the years. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Elijah was super helpful unfortunately the employees at the location normally arent the most friendly, but Elijah was friendly and helpful. He directed me to the games that were interesting and for someone who doesnt game often I needed all the help I could get. Thanks again

Stopped in just to check two trade-in values. Ended up trading in both items and was on my way in just a few minutes. Definitely will recommend this store to others.

Hey for some of you who have ordered just want to give a heads up try not to do it a lot i have had an issue with a purchase that i made in Jan that had to come in the next month and it didn’t. I have reached or to customer service like 3 times and all 3 times i have been given a different day of arrival. Heck tried again yesterday and it looks like they didn’t seem to care since i had the exact same automated msg at once. And by the way don’t expect them to do anything for you even if you are an unhappy customer

I had a figure Preordered the Cal Kestis Deluxe Black Series Figure months ago. Then today I called to see if they had any and told me they did but already sold them all. They never gave me a call about my preorder being available, don’t bother going to this GameStop because they will cheat you out of the product you placed an order.

GameStop use to be one of my favorite game store to shop at but now they are are not keeping a lot of the old game system that you trying to collect and also they barely give you any money for your trade ins it’s just a waist of money to shop here I would definitely find another place to shop for your games

Theyre great. i buy my games here instead of online so that i can resell them when I get bored with them and no longer play them.

Every game that I asked that were being shown as Pre-Owned copies didnt have a Pre-Owned copy. Then the game I DID want (not pre-owned) was out of stock but still posted there. On top of that, when I returned a product I was given my receipt but my cards chip didnt go through for the refund. This was not brought to my attention so Ive yet to receive my refund. Now when I try contacting the number given for customer service both on site and receipt my call never gets through being asked for an access code.

Friendly and helpful sales people. If you need to exchange an item you bought a warranty for, it is fast and hassle free. I had to do that today, it didnt take 5 minutes from the time I walked in the door and walked out with the new item. I bought a warranty for that too, things break or wear out if you have kids that love to play games.

I wish I got the guys name that was working yesterday but he was so patient. I went in with my 3 kids. My 8 year old son was so indecisive on what game he wanted he told the guy what he was looking for. The guy knew showed him about 20 different games and explained them all. He talk to me first and made sure to recommend ones that I was ok with. He was amazing!

Ordered and Xbox one controller. Said it was going to be delivered Saturday, it wasn’t. Then today I get an email saying it was delivered and guess what? No where to be found. Tried calling the store like 5 times, no answer. Awesome.

Says the have 8 of an item online. I call and they have zero. Update the inventory please.

I called at 7:40pm to see if they had a PS4 controller in stock. They did!! 🥰🥰 I let him know I was in my way and about 15 mins out. Mustafa made sure I had everything I needed and was out the door in less than 2 minutes 🥰

Using the quarantine to be rude and difficult for customers. Demanding only credit cards not even debit cards. Not answering phones and being rude when customers knock on the door to get service. Might as well just close up. They may be considered essential but I don’t need that kinda of rude in my life.

Very unhelpful.

They will give you like 50cents for a game you paid $60 for a month ago. Also bought a backwards compatible PS3 here once with warranty and it broke down wouldnt boot up and I was unable to be helped with a replacement or money back refund. I got stuck with a PS3 I only could use for 2-3 months

The store is a great place to buy or sell games, but I wish we could have the option to pay with real money when I go to pickup a game in case people dont have a card.

Ill give this place 5 stars because the employees here are very helpful and it is a good place to buy video games and collectables. If you dont know a lot about GameStop, you do have the ability to trade in games and gaming systems. The amount youll get for the games and systems may not be as much as youd get if you sold them yourself to someone else, but its not the employees fault, its set by corporate and they cant change that. If you check the website before you go you can check the trade values to see how much theyll give you and possibly save yourself some time.

Bought my husbands Xbox and controller there his controller stopped working after a few days I took back they exchanged it with no problem, the same thing happened to the next controller, they gladly exchanged it again and gave us another unfortunately the third controller also quit working after a few days the gentleman who helped us through all the controllers gave us a brand new controller from the back. They we so helpful and understanding. Great customer service!

I got a game from them one time but the disk didnt work properly, so I took it back. I dont think they checked the disk properly or else they wouldve let me know or taken the disk off the market. Otherwise, the service is helpful and it is a very clean store, would still recommend it.

Walked into this GameStop at around 2:25 pm today and walked from the front to the back and out again just browsing. Was not greeted one time by the reps. I even walked past the counter on the way out to see if they would say anything. NOPE. I guess good customer service is hard to find these days. I can only imagine the type of score they would have received if I was a secret shopper.

Shouldnt have switched to fed ex. Now I have to wait for a game that is late for being released to the public. And I pre-ordered it. Should have just went to get it at Walmart.

Im not a huge gamer like I used to be, but I get in my fare share of gaming. I play of the PS$ and occasionally X Box One. I always find what Im looking for here. The staff is friendly as well as knowledgeable. It;s in a covenant location right off of Main street summerville and the 26 highway. Keep up the good work guys.

Always able to find a good deal. I always try to not renew my rewards membership, but it really pays for itself. Great in store trade in value.. check out website to price your trade in before making that trip and lugging it all in. Ditto for purchasing too.

Came in here yesterday just to search around for mainly anime stuff! I was having a terrible work day prior to coming in this facility and I was comforted by the grace of the employee named Mustafa. He was very nice and pleasant, and helped me search for what I was looking for! 😊

As I was out shopping in the chaos of Black Friday I lost my bag of items I had purchased. My only hope was to call the store and ask if by chance they could help. Stephanie and Justin were beyond helpful today. They were super nice and very patient with my semi frantic self. There are not enough words to express my absolute gratitude for helping me out. Went and bought a brand new game yesterday, played for about 5 minutes and it started to glitch. Tried to go and return it today and apparently their policy doesn’t allow it and they can only give me a $21 credit for a game I paid almost $60 for. The MANAGER that sold me the game didn’t say anything about this and didn’t even offer me to buy a preowned version. Last time I ever deal with them. 🤬🤬

Great service, great selection. This is pretty much the best experience you can get out of a GameStop. However, I still think there are better options for getting video games due to corporate policies.

I bought 3 used games. The first one would only play for five minutes then would say disc unreadable disc has a big scratch on it. The second game I opened the case and the game was gone?? Wth. The game was missing. The third game is playing fine for now. 1 out of 3. Not impressed.

Not all stores are the same and the staff in this one set them apart. Very clean store and friendly staff. They do offer military discount with proper I.D. The employees that I have spoken with have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the game system I purchased. Thank You.

Went on black friday....was surprised by how well organized they ran things. Was in the store for only a bit and it was organized and neat even for the ensuing chaos.

This gamestop employs gamers that actually play more than 1 genre. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I pass by at least 6 gamestops just to continue to go back to this one. They actually care about their gaming customers and dont rely on frill or gimmicks to make them happy. It wouldnt be fair to give just one or 2 of their employees props because they are all awesome.

Its a great place with good sales every once in a while and the employees are nice.

I Believe kaytlin is her name but every time I walk in she is always helpful and kind towards me. She is never rude and I never feel like she dose not want to be working, and she pretty much knows her games!!! I continue to come hear because most of the employee know how to help and I can usually get in and get out in 10 mins or less, and its clean and organize!!

Basically this store robbed me. Their computer locked up in the middle of a transaction and I was charged but got no product. Money came out of my bank account. Filing a complaint with the BBB and Summerville PD. If your goal is to lose money and disappoint your kids at the same time then I would go here otherwise avoid this place. Steam will have them going the way of Blockbuster video soon anyway.

Went there to there to trade in some Ps4 games one of them was unopened they said they couldnt take it because it was unopened I guess they thought it was stolen and he was super rude what a crock I will never trade in my games to them again. They give you 5 dollars for your 40 dollar game and sell it for face valve. Rip off artist.

Its Gamestop what can I say more. Great prices on all the video games,consoles,accessories or any type of gaming merch. There are always deals available and no pressure shopping.

I called and asked if they price match Walmart’s website and I was told they did. When I showed up they refused to match the price of what I was buying. I just went over to Target next door and without giving me a hard time they price matched Walmart’s website. No wonder they are going under.

Absolutely hate gamestop. But this one usually has a good selection of items that are sold out elsewhere. Such as ps4 VR bundles and xbox elite controllers.

I like the return policy on used games, I can try it before actually buying it. Good selection of games plus you always get bonuses for pre ordering.

Meh, it is a Gamestop. Fewer PC games every time I visit, less wearable Merch as well. Seems like their main agenda is getting you to buy a Membership and rob you on your used games... stick to buying online, this type of store is a dinosaur of the past.

Make sure if you buy a new game here that it is in shrink wrap from the factory. I watched them repackage a game that was returned because it was sold by mistake. They just put a clear sticker on it to hold it shut and call it new.

Its a great place to shop if youre the only person in there God forbid theres a line

Terrible service, instead of the women (who happened to also be the manager) explaining to me why I couldnt return the game, that I paid cash for, for cash it had to be put into store credit. So I had to call the regional manager out to do her job, and she wanted to give me a nasty face. Worst customer service ever, would not recommend ever stepping foot near this Gamestop. make the trip to Dorchester, at least they will take returns that arent even from there store and for cash.
