Such a nice shop. I was greeted immediately upon entering by the young lady on duty. I was impressed by the vast amount of toys for sale at decent prices and would have purchased some if I wasnt flying out. I did purchase a few $1 back issues that were dear to me years ago and wished I had more room in my luggage to fit more. I will definitely check this store out the next time Im in the area

Walked in for the 1st time today and I must say I was impressed with the huge collect of comics and all his figures. He had a lot of one of a kind stuff with signatures. We went in today just to look and ended up walking out with over 30 comics because the owner gave us a great idea for our game room and we count turn down some of his $1 comics to do this DIY project. Will be coming back again soon. BTW his prices were reasonable!

I really hate to dog on a local shop as the people working there are friendly. However, the prices on their comic books are way over priced. The owner is completely out of touch from how he prices the wall books /back stock. He doesnt take into consideration the condition of the books and its actual market value. For example, he had a Thor #337 that was heavily sun damaged to the point that literally 99% of the color was faded and yet wanted $100. Thats madness when currently you can get a mid grade copy (which is leaps and bounds better than their copy for about that price, give or take). Youre literally better off buying books off ebay for a fraction of the cost which is unfortunate. I get it. You guys got bills and overhead to consider so most brick and mortar will sell higher than ebay. Customer Service from a local comic bookstore is important but not at the detriment of the customer having to eat a grossly inflated markup.

I stopped in today, and at the very beginning I was greeted by a young man who was incredibly polite and gave good direction for how to navigate the stores many shelves of comics. The only reason why I docked a single star was because I felt that the comics sorted into different areas (especially the sets) didn’t quite make logical sense to me.They had many first appearance additions, newsstand additions and variance, and a wide assortment of comics. Compared to the other comic shops in town I’m glad to see that they are still thriving.

AWESOME place to either find your favorite comics and toys or just hangout with really friendly, knowledgeable people. WAY better place than some other comic book stores in the area. Will work with you on price, and not try to screw you. They will spit knowledge about anything and everything in the comic Universe. Im almost 40 and EVERYTIME I stop in it takes me back to be being a 12 year old. ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face.

My favorite comic shop in the area. Being new to the neighborhood, I was extremely happy to find such a cool local store to handle all my comic needs. The owner, Chris is such a great guy and I enjoying trading, talking comics or buying that rare odd thing in his store. He is knowledgeable and fair about pricing and works hard to satisfy his customers needs. I love Raptor Comics!!

Went to the store at 11 when it was supposed to be open. No one was there. Read some comments about them being late and wanted to give more time just to be nice. Then it turned into what severity of lateness is this going to be. Finally I left after 5 upset customers grabbed the handle and was disappointed. It was 1:00 and no one was there. This is wasting peoples time and their gas. If you dont like your hours then change them. I have been here before and the people are really nice, but professionalism is key and they need to be on time to maintain that look. If they dont change this aspect then just like the creatures they are named after they will be extinct. And if it does get worse Ill come back for the going out of business sale.

They had a decent selection of comics and toys some of which I was interested in. Seeing as everything reeks of cigarette smoke I didnt buying anything. Had to leave after only a few minutes cause the smoky smell set off my asthma.

I love this place because the owners and his employees are so sweet they are like family its my home away from home

Went there it was great . the employees were so nice and the prices were amazing . 45 for a amazing yamigoochi deadpool heck yea . and there is a box where 1 figure is 5 dollers . amazing if you are low on cash or looking for a cheap figure . the comic section is also amazing . nuff said

A great team makes for a nostalgic dive into an array of vintage comics and pop culture collectibles. If they dont have it, they can probably track it down.

Good selection of older comics and the owner allowed me to look at back issues of comics in the back when I asked for permission. Only nitpick is the lack of new comics on a weekly basis and short supply of trade paperbacks, but overall a good store.

Im a complete dummy when it comes to comics but it was a must on my Christmas list. Everyone there was helpful and I left with a smile on my face. I actually found what I had looked everywhere for and thought I didnt have a chance in finding.

Best comic book in town! I go here every chance I get. If your looking for the true vintage collectibles, then this is your place. If your looking for monthly new issues and new action figures, captains is where you need to go. This store is for the true collectible that wants to feel like they’ve walked into vintage heaven. Chris the owner even gave me his personal cell phone number to call him if I have a question or to find a rare find. These negative comments on here about the store never being open or he would have to rush out and close. He was deathly sick and needed an organ transplant. So don’t judge, just go in. Talk to Chris and Dylan, and enjoy!

Susan who is running things was just wonderful, It is my understanding the owner is very ill recovering from a liver transplant. Amazing selection although pricing is a little off but she explained what was going on and made every effort to correct the prices on the books that were wrong. Work in process. I picked up some nice books at great prices. The other books like Batman Adventures 12, New Mutants 87,98, a lot of keys that you do not see anywhere, well they have them priced right for the grade. I have thoseBooks but would have bought them if I needed them. Very nice experience and am looking forward to visit next time I am here.

One of the worst Comic shops around the store is very cramped and always messy, and the owner has a tendency to be late every single day. sometimes by hours, if your looking for a comic shop I would highly recommend captains comics or sound wave they are much better.

This place might just be a collectors haven. They had comic books from X-Men to Batman. There was a huge shelf with retro tous from the 90s, as well as some new Japanese made figures. My most recent purchase there was a S.H. Figuarts SSJ Gohan.

Just discovered them. Had items there that Captains didnt and even though its small it has some of the coolest things in there. 100% will continue to go.

Smaller shop but with items you wont find anywhere else.

The people are friendly but theyre a bit over priced.
