Awesome ice cream flavors! Good size scoops. Sundae menu was extensive. We tried graham central station, turtle cheesecake, and Michigan pothole.

Ordered a pigs trough double banana split. Don’t ask me how it’s possible but it came with no bananas! It’s a double so supposed to have two. I don’t know how something like that can happen but I called the manager and all she did was apologize. No offer for a refund, no offer to come back in and get one for free, just she was sorry??? What good is having a manager if all they do is apologize? That’s not going to keep me as a customer…

Thr fries were hot! The blt was fantastic and full of bacon. All of our food was hot and filling. I could have had the make anything combo a meal. Fries and LG drink. It was a lot of food for the price! The young people that were taking orders had a slow start because of being backed up. It was worth the wait and they were gracious. I honestly wished I had remembers to get names. Since I didnt I hope this gets you all a raise. Ya did good ;)

Delicious Mega Salads and Yummilicious Ice Cream Flavors! Well worth the drive, wait and money!

For $11 you get 1Lb lettuce 1 chicken strip and 2 pieces of cheese. Although I asked for a bit of little cheese. This is not a chef’s salad and I’m highly disappointed! Not only that I had to wait an 10 minutes. I’m very unhappy with this salad.

Chocolate and peanut butter with hot fudge and marshmallow has been my go to for years. We always stop when were in summerville for a great ice cream and friendly service. Love that it has the feel of an old timey ice cream shop with all the flavors that me and my daughter love.

I think its just this location, every single time Ive order from here the food is just sloppily prepared. Onions in the salad are just raw huge chunks. Then lettuce was slightly brown like it was sitting out.I order extra egg a few times and its never in there. (and Im not turning around behind that)This location is very convenient since its literally less than 5 mins away but I will go to other locations. It just seems like a bunch if teenagers making food...that they dont know how to properly make. Or put any care into making and you can really tell... :( I dont like wasting my money on slack food/wrong orders.

Great ice cream, great staff, friendly open environment. The biggest single ice cream cone Ive ever had, ergo the price, which is adequate and appropriate. You will be pleased with whatever you buy. Oh yes, they also sell hamburgers and other food for eating.

The fact that you took time to leave a comment under a review vs checking you daughter/son friends that you hire tells a whole lot about the company. The kids come to work basically in a bathing suit the place is disorganized messy and greasy. Take more time educating your employees vs leaving comments under google reviews. You suck! When running a business you should make sure your staff represents you in the best way. The lack of attention to preparing food takes away from the legacy of this place. I shouldnt need a manager everytime I decide to eat here nor should my food be made so poorly. For this establishment to be family owned I dont feel like family when I eat here.

Foods decent but service is mediocre.Its always chaos in there even when their isnt a bunch of customers. You will be standing waiting for service 5 mins plus and employees are staring into the dark abyss of existentialism or pretending to be busy.

Aside from the yummy ice cream it was still filling and obviously pretty fatening. I liked the fact that it was a mix of an eat/ dine in experience and ice cream area as well. Why does a big portion of most ice cream flavors have to be fatening and be filled with stuff not good for your body?! I wish they had a few more flavors that were more dietetic, still yummy and a bit more healthier. The young staff worked hard but not all wore mask. I dont care how are they are, their grade level or anything else for that matter. Aside from that, pretty good spot. Ive had better ice cream at other eateries.

Very dirty, very unorganized. Must have sturdy legs to walk on the greasy, slippery, floors. Tables are filthy, with built up old food caked on the sides of tables and dispensaries on table. Lamps at the counters are covered in fly debris. There was an over abundance of servers on the entree counter, so much that servers were standing around doing nothing; but, the dessert counter only had 1 server, and a long line of patrons waiting to be severed. The poor server was so busy that he had to tune out other patrons making requests to him for simple things, such as lids and spoons.

Fantastic fast food plus theyre open late. Get a shake!

This Ye Ole Fashioned in summerville is disgusting an unprofessional. The counter tops an floors were dirty an greesy. There were 20 ppl behind the counter an only about 8 of them working. It took me 10 minutes of standing at the counter just to get a lid. Do better!!!

Definitely appreciate all of the vegan options, the food is always fresh and employees are nice. It is a little pricey as some of the other reviews say, but I enjoy going to Ye Ole Fashioned as a treat. They arent forcing you to spend your money there... :P

Hi! I’ve always been a fan of Ye Ole since I was a kid. Lately I have been having trouble eating because of my anxiety and Ive found the turkey club here to be one of the only things I can eat anymore. Had one today and it was just so amazing! Thank you guys for being so awesome and making great food. Truly a staple of the area (that’s why it’s always packed) 🥳

Horrible food, young kids who don’t care about there job or the quality of the food they are serving I eat ye old fashioned often but this location is unacceptable. I’ve been here twice both times were horrible. I tried to give a second chance and it was worse then the first time. This location isn’t very clean either it’s messy both times I’ve visited. Oh and the managers should definitely learn better customer service called to complain and got Jennifer who clearly did not care about my issue I was having with her restaurant it’s ok though I won’t be back and I’ll be sure to tell a friend to tell a friend. Place is always very dirty even though there are like 20 employees and its not even that busy, Ive been in a few times recently and this has been the case. The employees seem nice and all, but I think management just needs to step it up a bit. Employees are all young teens who spend more time talking it seems then attempting to clean anything, and why should they if noone is telling them to I guess. I personally wouldnt eat here, do to the cleanliness and lack of care all around.

The only good thing about this place as a visitor from another State was the ice creamice. One of the female workers was very rude to us. We were in a group and some of us were already assisted she then asked one of our family members if she was already assisted? Well our family member was telling her the truth, she was the only not being helped. The waitress gave her a annoyed look as if she was upset that she had to help her. Instead of her helping my fam member she said well just wait for your server to be done with the other orders, so she had to stand there and wait. Clearly the server did not want to be at work. Will we come here to visit again? Not at all!

The process were a little higher than I remember (possibly due to Covid) but the burgers were divine! The loaded fries, a perfect complement to the burgers, and of course you cant leave without some ice cream - yum!

Even though it was extremely busy, my food was brought to me in a timely fashion.

The good was great but when I was eating the ice cream as I got towards the bottom I ordered Orange sherbet and there were Black specs in it so I thought it was probably chocolate. Then I started sifting through it and came across something and stopped eating.

After a high school football game last Friday night on October 18th, I went through the drive thru to order a large chef salad due to being satisfied with the service on prior visits. The last time I ordered the chef salad they were pretty sparse with the onions, which I love on a salad. I asked for extra onions this time hoping to get an average amount on my salad. Well, whomever made the salad decided they would be extra ridiculous and coarsely chop an entire red onion on my salad. Needless to say, they lost a once satisfied customer and other prospective customer once theyve been told about the service I received. Teller was pleasant, but the service was poor.

Customer service was close to obsolete. I came in to pick-up an online order that Id placed. There were 11 people working, manager on duty included. No one greeted me, or any of the customers to follow. My brother who walked in behind me waited over seven minutes at the ice cream counter before any of the staff even acknowledged him. Another couple walked in behind me, and it took about the same amount of time (7+mins) for anyone to ask if they had been helped. The young women at the food counter were bunched together in various conversations as opposed to tending to guests. The shift leader on duty was too busy walking in an out of the back with a notepad in which he then called same said group of girls to talk about scheduling. One young woman at the ice 2 counter was super busy with a familys hefty order while another followed suit of the shift lead with the walking back and forth real lackadaisical like. It took almost ten minutes to locate my order; which was chilling in the ice cream cooler. Id rate my overall experience as a one, but bumped it to a two based on presentation along with quality in product.

I have been coming to Ye Ole Fashioned for years. I took my sister and nephew to the Main St. location for lunch and to my surprise I was paying for a meal at a Five Star restaurant. All I wanted was fries and my sister had a chicken salad sandwich and fries and my nephew had chicken fingers and fries. The total was almost $40. That’s more than $10 a person. Next time I will expect an appetizer, meal and dessert for that price. Actually, there won’t be a next time. Totally disappointed with Ye Ole Fashioned and what seems like price gouging to make up for lost revenue during a time like this. So disappointed because they used to be my favorite place to eat especially for the fries.! With that said, ta ta Ye Ole Fashioned.!

The drive thru took quite a while, but....the turkey BLT was ginormous and delicious. I was looking forward to french cut or shoestring fries....and they serve crinkle. And it was 14.00 for a combo

Forgot bacon on one sandwich, forgot fries with both kids meals, and the sweet tea was disgusting.

Great service. We ordered take out and it was made fast and was great as always! Love the ice cream and sherbert freeze as well! The parking lot definitely leaves something to be desired because even if you park in front the drive through line can get long enough to block people trying to leave who picked up their food and other businesses at the front parking area.

Best salads in town and ice-cream

12 people on shift at 6:40pm everyone is just standing around drive through line is backed up with 6 cars. Most employees are either playing around, on there phones, or not trained properly it has taken 25mins to make 1 qt of ice cream and a milk shake. 4 other customers are waiting on food before me. The employee making my qt of ice cream couldnt even find the cups to make it in. Very disappointed. Need better customer service..

I had the unfortunate experience of having locked my keys in my car in their parking lot. The staff was so polite. Seeing my predicament, they offered me something to drink and a seat, of which I declined, but the offer said it all. The character of the employees who work at this location are topnotch! They are prime examples of why Summerville is such a great place to call home. While I dont know the young ladies personally, theyre clearly kindhearted individuals and are an asset to this company. I hope to return on a better note the next time I visit.

Twice now my order has been wrong. This last time I even stated to make sure wit was correct. They still made the chicken sandwich wrong. Both times was take out and I couldn’t eat it. First time they gave me fried instead of grilled with Mayo on it and I am allergic to Mayo. Today, they gave me grilled but again out Mayo on it and I wasn’t able to eat it. Had to wait 30 mins to get the order on top of that. Won’t be back

I hadnt been here in decades but we have been getting tons of delivery throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and I decided to give them a chance. And then another one. I recall them being pricey. They are. But the food is great! Authentic American and deli cuisine. I always get a Reuben but this time chose a Rachel. It was still delicious corned beef and Swiss on rye but but with fresh tasty slaw instead of sauerkraut, which was a scrumptious swap. I think I might be a convert!Hubbys Dagwood was stacked high and tasty, and the fried pickles were fresh tasty rounds, perfectly breaded. The trip here was a bit long, and I know they would be even more delicious eaten on-site, or if one of the closer locations would deliver, but for some reason only this one is an option. Beggars cant be choosers.A previous delivery brought us the chili-cheese dog, which was bun-poppingly long and slathered in yummy chili that mostly didnt land on the floor, and a corn dog that made me think of the fair. Nostalgia food, well done. The shake and malt were fair, though I am forever searching for the perfect chocolate malt and havent had one since they changed the malt powder at Guerins pharmacy back in the 80s. The search continues.Overall, I was refreshingly impressed with Ye Ole Fashioned, a blast from the past Ill definitely keep in mind for the future.

The food in here is completely top notch. Ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Apparently they cater to a high school crowd. Be pleasantly surprised and go in for a sandwich. You will not regret it.

The bacon cheeseburger is so good! And I cant remember what sundae I ordered, but it had yellow cake in it. I couldnt even finish it, it was so big! Next time Im in town, I will definitely be back.

I appreciate that theyve added some vegan options. We had a couple of Impossible burgers and a vegan ice cream. They also have Beyond Burgers, Beyond Sausage, vegan cheese, and vegan mayo. It didnt take too long considering how busy they were.

Ridiculously long wait times just for ice cream! Not recommended if you are just trying to get a quick treat! Save yourself an hour wait and just go to Dairy Queen!We’ve been here three times, every time with the hopes the service would improve, but I have been disappointed. We have gone through the drive thru each time, and usually the line is no more than three cars long, however it still takes over 30 minutes of waiting just to get to the window. Once we placed the order, it’s another 30 minute wait! All we ordered were sundaes! Seriously, how long does it take to scoop ice cream and add toppings?!The ice cream is good, but not worth an hour of my time. I’ve been fooled three times now, it won’t happen again.

I went in specifically for the vegan menu, and I am very glad that I did! Kennedy took my order and was very helpful navigating the menu. My food was made separately, and right after I ordered. The portion sizes are huge! Highly recommend the impossible burger and vegan milkshake!

It was bad enough that in the mist of Covid they did not have plastic silverware that was wrapped ( they brought a plastic fork out not even wrap in a napkin) but when my daughter went to ask for a knife it was dirty and disgusting which was point out to the manager who first response was to simply wash it off stating they did not have any plastic ones. Even if that was the knife they were cutting the food they were serving with play....

I love Ye Old Fashion Super Club sandwich. But the last few times I ordered this sandwich it was missing it’s meat portion. This sandwich which use to be filled with meat is now only being make with two slices of meat. For $8.89 and it’s just a sandwich with not sides or drink I would like more than two slice of meat. This sandwich use to get me fill... now I finding myself eating something else after spending almost $9.00 dollars on a sandwich. Guess this was my last Super time to find a better sandwich shop.

Came in on August 23rd around 10 p.m. and was kindly greeted by some girls behind the counter. Leela served my friend and I with the most fantastic experience. Not only was she incredibly friendly, but came and double checked with us about cheese on our orders. When the food arrived within a timely manner, it was DELICIOUS. The kids meal was more than enough for me. Food was great and the service by Leela was even better! 5 stars to Ye Ole and Leela! Will definitely be coming back here :-)

Ordered dinner to be delivered by Door Dash. Ordered a cold plate that was supposed to have chicken salad, slaw, potato salad and garden salad. Also ordered lunch for tomorrow along with a hot fudge sundae. Needless to say door dash did not deliver the sundae and my cold plate consisted of a huge bed of lettuce with tomato and cucumber, potato salad and 2 chicken tenders. It did not have my chicken salad nor any cole slaw. If I had wanted chicken tenders I would have ordered them. Do not wish to order from this store again or do business with Door Dash.

I placed an order by phone. The girl was very inattentive. I had to keep repeating parts of my order. I arrived to pick up my order and an item was missing. I told the girl what it was and she muttered to herself that the she didnt hear that. She specifically asked when taking my order what topping I wanted on the missing item. On top of that while taking my order she told me that one of the items had to be a junior because it was part of a kids meal. I told her that I would pay for what I ordered. When I arrived to pick up my order we had a repeat of this exchange. Service is usually decent, but not tonight.
