Fast service, amazing team working, didnt had a mask and they didnt make any issues they just gave me one of theirs and even make a joke from it. Will be back...
The Good!Orders are ALWAYS accuratePeople are always kind. They remember your orders and call you by name, and I really appreciate that. The App is easy to order on.Consistency:It would be helpful if Mobile Orders would be available at all times. They are turned off if they are short staffed. I love the people here, but I have trouble understanding this one. Ill be there even if I have to order inside or at the drive through, but it keeps my day rolling smooth if I can arrive and grab my ready to go food and coffee. Ive never worked in a Starbucks, but I feel it would be easier on you if you knew I was coming before I got there. Im still going to order, I cant understand the time crunch if I order on the app vs in-store.The hours change often because they are short people. Im not sure if the store is supposed to update the app, but it doesnt normally get updated when the hours change, and if you are like me you show up ready to enjoy some lovely coffee and greet some lovely people and they arent open.I so want to give these guys 5*s because they are super people, seriously the best people Ive ever encountered at any Starbucks. They all know me and if they read this they know who wrote it and have heard me verbalize these concerns. So here is my proposal:Get the mobile orders working all the time, and Ill bump the review up to 4 stars and revise the review.Get the mobile orders working and consistent hours, and ill bump it up to 5 stars and revise the review.I love you, Sun P Starbucks! Lets get to 5 stars :)
Probably my favorite starbucks.Everyone is very helpful and gives my morning a great start! The food is also good!
Always enjoy this Starbucks especially now that indoor service has returned. We enjoy the recently reopened patio also even though the furniture isnt quite as nice as it was. Coffee is always very good as are limited bakery selections.
Turned out to be National Coffee Day, so I got a free coffee. Nice surprise!
I came by today at 5:45 and was getting a kiwi refresher and the person on the drive thru asked if I’d like it with lemonade or sometime else, I asked them what my other options were and they told me water or coconut water! i choose the coconut water and it was AMAZING. They also let me know it was called a star drink!! So nice I loved them!!
If yall would update your hours online when you change them thatd be great...
I rarely go to Starbucks in the AM. I dropped my Daughter off at school. Got to this location. 805 am. A long line as usual. I expected it. I finally got to the screen. Waited waited waited...I assumed they had a problem. Went to the window. Waited waited waited. I know their hours. A woman pointed to a piece of paper I didn’t see and said they open at 9. Zero explanation!!!! Try putting a notice on the ordering screen or website so people aren’t waiting! As I drove away there were at least 20 cars in line. Reason for opening late and you could speed up your line putting it on the first spot. Common sense. Yup. Not going here again for 6 mos. I’ll go to Target on a weekend. How many people were late for work over a stupid coffee?
They were busy but they were very efficient!
Im giving this a one star solely because it takes nearly an hour to get one drink anytime I visit. The service is the slowest service Ive ever had anywhere. Would recommend going to the Starbucks in Target a block away its much faster.
I have no idea why people hate this loaction so much, they’re doing their best, it may get busy, so what? Give em a break
A solid choice out of the Starbucks locations in the area! I will say, the drive thru can be a bit slow. But Ive never had any problems with mobile orders through the lobby. The staff are always friendly.
We stop here on a regular basis when traveling past Madison. Right off the ramp for 151 so easy access compared to some of the other coffee places around Madison. Staff is friendly and the location is clean.
This Starbucks is like the other Starbucks. But it’s, like, not connected to a Target or anything. Do you remember when Barnes and Noble had pseudo star bucks in them? This isn’t one of those. Is Barnes and Noble still a thing?
Today I stopped at Starbucks sun prairie for a few coffees and those delightful bacon and Gouda sandwiches, the woman who helped me was so friendly and accommodating she helped me get the order that I wanted in and helped me figure out the best option for a childs drink! When I got to the window the system seemed to be down in the back and the front instead of making me wait around like a typical business would they said this one is on us because the system is messed up! Got really lucky today thanks to the staff for being quick on your feet and helping your customers conserve their time as well its much appreciated.
This location is a very busy one maybe because the Costco next to it. However, it feels they put the lowest performance employees here to maybe punish people who wants a cup of Starbucks. Slowest service and longest line for a Starbucks in my life. I mean ever.
This Starbucks is the slowest one Ive ever been to. I live across the street, and unless I want to wait at least a half an hour in either the drive thru or in store, I have to order ahead on the app from home extremely far in advance. More often than not, theyre so busy and overwhelmed they turn the mobile ordering off, so I cant even get coffee here. I live across the street. I shouldnt have to budget 30-40 minutes bat a Starbucks to be able to get coffee on the way to work. I also understand that they have a busy area, mobile orders, and Uber and doordash now. However if you go in there, half the time they arent even hustling. Zero urgency as if they dont have a drive through around the building and their lobby full of people waiting. Its not all the employees but I really do think its poor management. I only gave two stars because I dont think theyve ever gotten my order wrong? Save your time and drive all the way down to the one on East Washington if you want your coffee quicker. Or Grace Coffee is right across the street now and is an amazing substitute.
Cup only 2/3 full of pumpkin spice latte.... disappointing darn it!
The girls who take my orders here are super cheerful and nice even if its stupid early in the morning!
Don’t bother. They shut down order ahead and even though they claim they are open they’ve shut down their indoor ordering too. Drive thru is insane. Starbucks is a shadow of its former self yet still over charges for coffee and now displays services they don’t offer.
Baristas couldnt handle the morning rush. The cafe was disorganized and drink orders were piling up. I ordered a Java chip frappucino with two added shots of espresso and the drink was bitter and burnt to the point that the drink was unpalatable. Im not usually one to complain about coffee, but I couldnt drink it.
Way more terrible experiences than good, drinks never taste right and hours are inconsistent and inconvenient. Will not be returning
If I could give 0 stars I would. It’s always something with this location! Between their hours being all jacked up a couple months ago to constantly out of items and making drinks incorrectly, or skimping on ingredients. Overall Starbucks just has gone down hill, especially this location.
Good customer service and fast.
The server was nice and chatted with me through the drive through.
Standard Starbucks. Tried the new egg bites (see pic), which come hot (so had to wait) in two flavors: egg/bacon/gruyere (which is a Swiss chese) and egg white/red pepper. They are like mini-souffles or fluffy crustless quiche, softer than quiche, tasty. The first prob I had was not being able to cut thru a piece of bacon with the plastic fork. Would have preferred a plate and a real fork. This Sbx is not large. Three comfy chairs, small tables for 2 or 4, and four tall seats at end of bar. Unlike a few Sbx in the area, this one actually has a double entrance door to keep the weather out. Nonetheless, the windows in winter are v cold to sit by.
+1 star for the few times I actually can get a drink. (Very rare)-4 stars because order ahead is RARELY open, Uber eats for star bucks is always unavailable, takes 30 minutes to sit in drive through or even in the diner area. The google hours are wrong because every Saturday story is different when I call them. If you have all day to wait for your drink, go for it!Truly disappointed of the lack of availability options to get a drink I’m not even sure why they have a mobile order option. It’s great when you get your order finally, you just have to wait awhile to receive it.
The paper straws are terrible. but the drink was good.
-Update. This location has literally the worst hours. They have changed their hours from 7-3…. This facility is in a booming area. What the hell…At least once a week this Starbucks location in Sun Prairie, Wi has either the lobby closed or the drive thru closed...when the lobby is closed the drive thru line can be a 10-30 minute wait.Just tried to stop today (5/13/21) stores closed for no reason...
This Starbucks is always super busy, I think its the only one in town other than the one at Target? They need more space so they can serve more people quickly. However, the staff are always super friendly even when theyre getting slammed so Im going to keep coming for my fraps lol.
Brilliant place just ordered a matcha latte and brownie. Staff was kind the cashier was very nice and helpful. Great customer service.
Love my venti blonde roast caramel machiattoans my go to chocolate croissant
My son and I went there today to get two drinks and birthday gift card. When I handed the girl my money she quickly said they couldn’t accept a $100 bill. I said very nicely it was all I had. She was quick to say she’d get her manager, even though I hadn’t asked, and was greeted by said manager without me even saying anything, she was very “we can’t take that. Only smaller bills or credit cards” just like super abrupt and to the point. Not even trying to be helpful in anyway. Didn’t catch her name or even got a word in. Just shut it down completely. So I drove off. Never thought I’d meet a “Karen manager” when Karen’s are usually the complaining customers.
Im not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee, but my wife is! She would give a 5 star review just for the quality and kick their drinks provide but Im knocking a star off for the amount of time it takes to get through the drive up window. Last visit took me 35 minutes, and within the design of the drive though...once youre in it, you are IN IT for the long haul, without an option to back out to turn off.Friendly faces, good attitudes, solid coffee. Long wait times.
Dakota is VERY rude. She stood around twirling in circles while I waited for my drink. SHE was the one to finally decide to make my drink after 5 minutes of doing nothing prior. Then the HO got made because I asked her to give me a top that she didn’t put her hands all over. Excuse me but I don’t like drinking out of stuff people put their hands all over!!!
Y’all need some members of Chick-fil-A to come over and help your establishment. You will wait at least 20-30 minutes for your order. Every time. Guaranteed. Such a convenient location for so many people, hoping they can figure out how to be more efficient. :(
Great got a free drink
Same great product but the drivethru is sooo busy during covid
Slow drive through line everyone inside just kinda standing around
This location of Starbucks is closed as for this moment so, please dont waste your time or gas going there. Once its opens again, I will really recommend this area.
Clean and friendly people.Had to find a place to work remotely from while my car was in the shop, this location was super cold and music way to loud making it very difficult to study/work.
Aaron is a blessing. He truly knows how to make a customers day. Give the man a raise!
I dont know the womans name, but she works morning in the drive thru and is always awesome and gives great customer service and life advice!
Went in and tried to pay with a hundred dollar bill but they had no change so they comped my order and were so sweet about it!!!!!
Super disappointed in the coffee here. Stopped in and ordered two coffees.. one was wrong completely and remade immediately.. but made wrong again and Im not sure what it even is because there is no sticker on it. But its 100% not what I ordered. The other coffee we ordered pretty much tastes like hot water and burnt coffee? So out of three coffees every single one is really wrong and not a happy accident of being something tasty.. theyre all just bad.Waste of $20 and like 20 mins. 🤦🏻♀️ Wont go back to this starbucks.
Ordered two drinks. Peppermint mocha and a chai tea. Both lacked taste. Was very disappointed especially after paying so much and we had continued our trip before noticing the poor taste or we would have returned them.
This is the absolute worst Starbucks in the world. Service is slow, the order is wrong about 50% of the time, the quality of the drink is not consistent, the store is filthy. Its also worth mentioning that the store has closed twice: once in Oct 2020 and again in Jan 2021 because members of their staff tested positive for COVID. Stay. Away.
I come here every morning at 7:20, Madison is always working, she’s just a smiley and cheerful person. Helps brighten my morning everyday! Always gets the order right and is fast. She does a great job!
So I tried going through the drive thru this morning on my way to work and it was blocked off again. Multiple cars in front of me had to turn around and drive off. This location is never prepared and if they are unable to open on time then they should change their hours and be honest about it or have a manager in the morning that’s capable of getting things done on time. I would recommend going to the East wash location tbh.
Drivethrough always seems to be busy here but they keep it moving. Havent had a messed up order yet. Typical Starbucks, what else is there to say? Coffee, snacks, food. A bit far in from the highway but stay in the right most left turn lane if youre coming from the highway, its a quick right after the light.
The Sun Prairie Starbucks has the absolute slowest service within the Starbucks chain. You can easily sit in the drive thru lame for up to a half hour or more and only have 5 cars ahead of you in line. They are Inconsistent if their lobby is open or if they are accepting mobile orders. Some days you can mobile order but then have to sit in the drive thru lane to pick up your order which again can take 30 minutes or more.
I asked for 2 drinks with light ice, a strawberry scone and a banana bread warmed and a cheese Danish warmed. Im sure it was because they were busy but we didnt get light ice, they told me at the window that they didnt have a strawberry scone and they said they didnt see that we ordered a banana nut bread and when they did give it to us it wasnt warm. It was weird because everything was right on the screen when we ordered so not sure how they got it wrong. The light ice thing I was like whatever even though it was like 3 sips and its gone. I asked for a sausage breakfast sandwich instead of the strawberry scone and they charged me for it. I worked at Starbucks for almost 4 years and whenever we messed up that much I ALWAYS gave them something for free. IDK, maybe Im wrong and maybe they were just having an off day but if Im going to pay that much Id like at least thing I ordered to be right. They were pretty fast though so Ill give them that.
Ordered my drink at 12:11 using the app and got to the drive thru about 5 minutes after that. Sat in line and didnt get to the window until almost 12:45. The barista hung out of the window twice chit chatting with the people in the car two in front of mine. Ordered an iced caramel cloud macchiato and got whats in the picture. Doesnt look at all like what I normally get when I order this. At least it tastes good.
Ordered a special drink and then when I got to the drive thru window said couldn’t do that because of covid 😡 just say we are busy and can’t! I’m traveling with children so inconvenient!!!! For me and very disappointed!
I love this Starbucks. Always friendly and always ready for a pup cup
This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. They are hardly open when they are supposed to be open in the morning and the days that they are open on time they don’t have half of their stuff available (mostly cold brew). They also have the longest wait times. You should never have to wait in a drive thru line for 30 minutes and this has happened multiple times with no apologies or gift cards like they used to give for long waits. There’s no customer service these days. Also if you get stuck in the drive thru line for 30 minutes there is no way out. So you’re pretty much screwed.
What can ya say its Starbucks. Whether you want hot or cold drinks they always deliver. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent.
They did a great job. Super efficient and well organized.
I along with several others waited in line for 30 minutes, then suddenly the menu lights went dark and all staff was gone. People who had placed online orders couldnt get in. This has to be the absolute worst Starbucks in the world. Even on a good day, it takes 20 minutes to get your drink...and thats during non-peak hours.
The batistas at this location are amazing!
Always my happy place!
My mobile order took 16 minutes when it said itd be 4 to 5. I know that this is usually a rough estimate but there were definitely plenty employees working. I also saw a few customers who ordered at the counter and got their drinks before I did, well after I made my order.
Ordered a Flat White thru the app. It said 21-24 minutes after paying. Didnt really want to wait that long, but no way to cancel the order that I could find. Not this stores fault. But...I waited the alloted amount of time before going in. There were about 15 drinks and 5 food orders in the mobile pickup area. Names are covered up by the hot cup wraps. A guy is twirling them by placing his hands on THE LID RIMS looking for the name. This is where you put your lips to drink! Staff too busy to notice. After hes done i go up, find my cup and ask for a new lid and told the barista why. No response except to give me a different lid. I leave, get in my car and start driving my 3 hour ride home. First sip....not a flat white and luke warm, apparently from sitting on the counter for as long as the app told me I had to wait. The 2 stars are mostly for the app, but also for the staff not addressing the cup touching situation. Never encountered this situation before.
Ordered ahead with phone app.ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
The brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso is divine!
I am really disappointed in the service at this Starbucks location. I lived in downtown Madison until a few months ago and have had fast, accurate, and friendly service at a number of Starbucks locations downtown (the square, State Street, near the Hilldale, and even the one in Monona). Even when there is a long line, indoor or in the drive-thru, Starbucks has done well at keeping things moving. Because this has been my experience at a number of Starbucks locations, I am really bummed that, for whatever reason, the Prairie Lakes Starbucks in SP is so incredibly slow and inefficient. This is true for the drive-thru, mobile orders, and simple walk-in orders. I have waited over 20 minutes for an iced coffee from a mobile order. Please please work on your efficiency and teamwork! I used to get Starbucks a few times a week, but I hardly go anymore because it is no longer convenient at all. Thank you for hearing this feedback, and I hope changes are made!
Great Starbucks, friendly staff, very personable. And my drinks were on point too!
By far the worst Starbucks. Drinks are always messed up. I order a Trent strawberry refresher, with light coconut milk instead of water. It’s always 5.01, every time, ordered it literally 100 times. They somehow try to charge 5.96 for it. Not only do they not know how to punch in a simple drink, it’s never even light coconut milk. The whole drink Is pitch white. Don’t bother complaining, you’ll get a rude attitude. Then after they finally realize they’re wrong after 5 minutes of explaining. They’ll finally remake your drink the right way.
Drive thru takes FOREVER! Line wasnt too long, thought Id get a coffee on my way to work.....35 minutes later I was out of the drive thru. Unreal! Late for work for a coffee stop. Couldnt even get out of line. Then my order was wrong! Want us to remake it? I didnt have any time for that. Sorry bout that! Paid full price.
Go to coffee spot.
40+ minutes for a mobile order, and employees are rude/unhelpful when asked about it. At 10:30 they are still making drink tickets from 9:50. And you go in there and nobody looks like they’re doing anything. I understand that things happen and that there’s a pandemic going on and they are busy, but then update the mobile app and tell me it’s going to be 40min, not 6-9min.It’s always a joke at this location.
Extremely slow drive thru, I’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes, I’ve never waited this long at a Starbucks and I frequent Starbucks at least three times a week. Be prepared for very slow barista service!
Went through the drive through for coffee yesterday and Logan was working the window. He was super efficient and friendly. He also gave my dog a “pup cup”, which was a super cute treat!
Ioved it but thay where all out of hot chocolate
One of the nicest Starbucks Ive been to. Staff is always very friendly and makes the best drinks. Clean inside and wall art is very nice.
Always quick and helpful, drinks are always made right, you guys ROCK especially with everything going on right now!
We never really have issues at the Starbucks. Never gotten an order wrong and everything tastes great. It does seem some days there arent enough staff or the combination of staff makes production time slower. So if youre willing to possibly sit in a long line (depends on the day and time of day) its worth stopping here.
I avoid this particular Starbucks. Ive had the app not work here. Ive gone in and had the cashier ignore me. Ive waited half an hour (stuck) in the drive through. I feel like theres no winning and Im done trying to get coffee here.
I love the breakfast menu. The banana bread is delicious.Quick service. Outdoor seating is very convenient in summertime.
A morning ride through it is one of the few reliefs in this pandemic
Location is super convenient however this morning I got my usual drink, but I could tell they were in a rush. Ordered my drink with a friend. Order was correct but drink was only luke warm, not even hot. Went to ask them if they could either re-heat or re-make and was told that next time I should ask for it to be extra hot and told me they were sorry they didn’t have a microwave. Was frustrated by the lack of care for their customers.
Friendly staff. Quick service. Unclean interior. Every single table needed to be wiped and some sweeping and mopping wouldnt hurt either. However, even when there were no customers being served, the staff chatted amongst themselves, not a single one moved to clean up a little. Overall, cleanliness in a place where food is being served should be a number 1 priority. 2 stars
Drive-thru delicious cold brew and yummy breakfast sandwiches? Cant go wrong!
Great chain coffee house & the staff at this location are always so inviting & friendly. They make it a priority to keep the line moving & to be sure each guest gets exactly what they want! :)
Thumbs up
Really slow! I got in line 3 people after us got their drink before us! I recommend just go to the one in target. Also I got a pumpkin spice frap and no whip cream! What the heck
We attempted to receive a birthday beverage through drive thru. The person on the intercom told us it was free and so they rung up the largest size beverage. We get to the window and pay for our order. When given the receipt I realized we were charged for our free birthday drink. I brought this to the attention of the barista and was ostracized. She told me I did not inform them of the birthday drink. I mentioned how I told the person at the intercom. The barista snapped and said “you had to tell us at the window, there’s nothing we can do you should have told us when you had the chance.” The barista closed the drive thru window before I was given a chance to show the app and ask for a refund. I have never been treated in such a manner for something so small. I will likely never be a customer at this location, or any Starbucks for that matter, due to this treatment.
When ordering online always add 10-15 mins to the estimated time they give you for pickup.
My husband had a dark roast and I had a latte. These poor woman were very understaffed tonight. Our drinks were perfect!!! Keep up the hard work!!
The drive-thru at the Starbucks in Sun Prairie by the theaters was the worst experience ever. They moved so slow that it took me over 45 minutes to get through the whole line of cars (I couldn’t get out because of the building and grass/cement barrier) to get my drink. At one point I sat in the same spot for over 13 minutes. I am not sure what happened with the car that held everyone up, but if they had a large order, they should have been told to wait in front of the store for someone to bring out their order. When I complained, the lady who waited on me at the window then had the nerve to say to me “well maybe you should go somewhere else next time”. Their excuse? They were ‘severely understaffed.’ If I could give this Starbucks zero if that was an option. I do not hold Starbucks responsible for this store’s ineptness, I do however hold the manager responsible.
Longest wait of my life.. out of venti cups... Didnt have what I wanted... Told me to get unsweetened and it tasted like trash
Fast service, friendly employee. Shots werent calibrated correctly, so my shots were a bit more on the burned side than the caramel side
Good polite service and great coffee and food
Closed with no signing . Cars waiting through a drive thu that isn’t open at 7:30 in the morning.
I had previously left 5 stars but have since opted to change it because lately when I order a frappe EVERYONE that comes in line after me gets their coffee before mine is even started. I worked at Starbucks and I know how annoying frappes can be but I shouldnt have to wait 20 minutes when everyone and their brother has been getting their coffees and lattes in record time. I dont know if they started making difficult drinks last but if so thats slightly ridiculous.
Unfortunately I have to agree with all of the negative comments here. This location must decide day to day whether they will take mobile orders or not. Ive never experienced such inconsistent service at a Starbucks and Ive been to many.
