This was by far the most thorough eye examination Ive ever had. Sabrina explained everything as she went along, and whereas in former exams I sat for 20 minutes while my eyes dilated, there were additional tests that were performed during that time. All in all, by the time I saw Dr. Wu and completed his exam and recommendations, Id spent well over an hour. I am always impressed with the staff, but Sabrina was a notch above.

Dr. Marks is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The medical staff communicate well with the patient and effectively proceed through their check up process. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I also had a pleasant and efficient experience communicating via text prior to my appointment. The front desk lobby and optical room were a little loud and a bit stressful.

Large hallways and large exam rooms!! Many other optometrists cram you into tiny rooms with multiple machines where you can barely even turn around without hitting something, but this office is amazing. Very roomy, comfortable, clean, friendly people, etc. A cramped space is what makes this experience miserable, so we’re really glad to have found this location.

It is always a good experience here from the time I walk in the door until I leave. Everyone is friendly and very professional. I have been going to Dr. Mark for years and have no reason to go anywhere else. Thank you Silicon Valley Eye Physicians for always making my yearly visits a pleasure.

Five stars for Dr. Wu.Dr. Wu was able to understand that I was in a rush, something I couldnt get the doctor in training to understand. He was able to quickly exam me and get me out.Five star for Office ReceptionReception was nice.Three Star for OfficeWhen the new patient appointment was made, I specifically asked for duration of appointment because I can plan my day accordingly. I was told it would take 1 hour. It took 2 hours for a new patient contact lens and glasses exam.It would have been nice to be asked if I have time to be seen by a doctor in training prior to being seen by the doctor. That was never communicated.80% of the time there I was seen only by the doctor in training. But I signed up for appointment with Dr. Wu.One star for the Doctor in Training1. It was apparent she was not used to using the machines for eye check up, this was the first time I seen someone struggle so much with even adjusting height of machine. Not to mention accuracy is off.2. when it was an hour into the appointment I informed her that I was told the appointment would only last 1 hour, she just carried right on.3. When she was doing my glasses prescription, I informed her I was seeing shadows in the letters. That was not fixed by her.4. It wasnt until I finally snapped did she understood that: time to get the doctor in here and get this over with asap.Overall: I would not recommend this place if you have a busy schedule. Maybe aim for an afternoon appointment where you do not need to work following this. Most definitely I will only return to this place if the doctor that I have an appointment with does my exams personally. That is what I signed up for.Also: this seems to be a recurring issue with the business, check their yelp review. It is not news that interns do your eye exam for you.

My left eye was a bit funny for about a week then decided to go see a doctor. The front desk was very friendly, they helped to find an available appointment time very quick, and also was very nice during the whole check in process. I didn’t wait for too long before called in (guess because my appointment was 8:15 lol), and the assistant helped to check my vision first, then asked some basic questions, still very friendly. Dr. David Mark came in not too long after, he was professional and precise, told me the issue to my eye and give me a prescription (easy fix, phew!) then also suggest for one more follow up appointment to check my contacts. The facility is quite big and clean, and with professional tools in treat rooms. Overall it’s a very pleasant and relatively easy experience, the only down point is it’s very hard to book the follow-up appointment as all booked (well that’s because they are good enough to have many patients trusting them right?) Guess I was lucky to get my first one within a week lol. I would suggest to check with them from time to time, as people do cancel their appointment the last minute, and you can grab them if you call to check.

I could tell immediately that my comfort and safety were a priority. I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of everyone I came into contact with.Dr. Mark has been my doctor for over 30 years. He is very caring, answers all my questions and explains all my test results. His vigilance is not just to my eyes but also my whole well being. He’s the best!

The medical providers ( doctor and technician) were courteous and professional. However, the front desk staff did not respond appropriately to my concerns. They asked me to complete a form accepting or rejecting certain procedures. When I explained that I would accept any procedure that the doctor deemed necessary, but I would not complete the form without knowing whether the ophthalmologist was recommending the listed procedures they simply responded that everyone fills out the form. Clearly, a person should not accept or reject dilation ( for example) without knowing whether the doctor was recommending the procedure.

Dr Mendelson is an excellent eye physician. I have the upmost confidence with his knowledge, experience and skilled expertise.

It I always pleasant experience when I visit Silicon Valley Eye Physicians. Everyone is very friendly. Eye exams are very thorough. The professionals in the eye glass department went beyond the call to ensure that my computer glasses were perfect. They cheerfully fine tuned the prescription for me and provided me with replacement lenses at no charge after I mentioned that my initial set of lenses were not quite right. They always responded to my messages in a timely manner.

Caution! This clinic will do medical bill scam if you don’t check your insurance. Come here to get a new pair of glass. The original price is $1145 and they offered a discount where I paid around $560. At that time, I didn’t bring my FSA card so I decide to first pay by credit card and then reimburse myself. However, when I contract my insurance provider to get my FSA money, I was astonished to see that this clinic submit a wrong medical bill and claimed all my FSA balance into their account. They lied to my insurance provider that the actual amount is more than $1145 and they should get my FSA to offset the cost which is absolutely ridiculous. The FSA no way should go to health provider and also they should not send a fake medical bill which is inconsistent with what I get from them. Trying all ways to connect with them about this but they just never reply. Besides, the new glass is super uncomfortable, probably the worst I have ever get. This is such a shame that this place assume people don’t check their FSA/HSA frequently and secretly steal the money from you!

I had my eye exam  Friday, Jun 11, 2021.  While front desk asked me to select what procedure I wanted.  I told them I need only an Eye Glass exam.  Dr. Mark did a great job of checking my eyes and reviewing my prescription for glasses, which he has been doing an exceptional job over the years.However, it was recommended that I get the Contact Lens prescription checked, which I did.  The contact lens exam was not satisfactory and incomplete.  There were no contact lenses used to verify the accuracy or fit & even the lens power check was rather rushed.  This is the first time I have had a contact lens exam without checking the fit and accuracy of contacts being prescribed.

Best service ever I recommend everyone there just perfect service outstanding explanation on your issues and most of all fabulous doctors and staffs if I can give them 10 plus starts I would 5 stars is not enough thank you all always

The staff was super friendly. The technician guided and explained me while performing the eye exam. And he really listened to my issues patiently, even when I asked the same thing twice or maybe thrice, he was still very collected and polite. I already felt I am in good hands before the doctor arrived. 10/10 to the technician who assisted me today!Dr. Kevin Wu answered all of my concerns. He answered all my whys, whens, hows etc. I asked A LOT of questions, and he listened and answered and also explained and I felt really easy and satisfied with how my eye exam went. I also discussed management options for me at my age. He was extremely polite and so so thorough. I came home satisfied and relieved & I already feel a lot better.P.S this is from someone who has been wearing spectacles since the age of 9 and Ive had so many opinions form so many ophthalmologists but I never felt so satisfied as I felt today. Overall a very good experience. Everyone in the office is very friendly. Qualified technicians who completed all of the initial testing. Only comment is, I was asked to pull down my eyelid a couple of times and was not offered hand sanitizer. I had to request it. Doctor was thorough and patient, wanting to get the most correct result for my updated prescription.

The building was clean and parking easy. The Staff took great care to clean all equipment before my use. Dr Wu was friendly, asked appropriate questions and very professional. I found out they specialize in dry eye issues and felt very taken care of every step of the way. The staff is friendly, educated and very helpful! Rachel and Dr. Lau are the best!!

After wearing ortho-k lenses, my eyes became really good, and I can see really clearly. This is the most efficient way to prevent my eyes from getting worse. From start to finish my experience was fabulous. The office staff did a great job checking in for the first time. Very quick. Short wait. And then the assistant was friendly and thorough. He also really cleaned everything before he touched it. And then Dr. Wu was delightful and had some great tips about how to solve my changing and aging eyes. Next stop at getting glasses, it was the best glasses experience I’ve ever had. She picked out some great ones and was really helpful and honest about which ones would work best for my face. She also really helped with my insurance and made it so it was affordable. The whole process took about an hour and 15 minutes. Definitely recommend!!

For the past year, I have been going through 5 vials of (individual) moisturizing Ing eye drops a day to manage dry eye symptoms MGD). I finally had the courage (after the COVUD vaccines launched) to go to the dry eye specialists at Silicon Valley Eye Physicians. The team did a complete evaluation with diagnostic imaging and mapping of my oil glands. As a result, Dr. Wu recommended Lipiflow and prescribed medication in addition to a daily routine. My MGD symptoms have improved greatly, down to the medication twice a day and one vial of moisturizing drops a day. I can see clearly again, and my eye strain has diminished. We’re working on improving the quality and quantity of my tears. Today I had punctal plugs inserted to keep my tears from flowing away. Dr. Wu was so gentle in the process that my pulse didn’t even go up, my heart rate remained steady at 66 according to my Apple Watch. The entire team is highly qualified and exceptionally well trained to manage their patients care and concerns. Rachel is well versed in all the nuances of insurance and as a dry eye patient herself has first hand experience. The office setting is beautiful, with top of the line equipment and everything is super clean. I’m so glad I found this team!!! Thank you Rachel, Dr Wu and the entire team for improving my eye health and diminishing the symptoms of dry eye. You rock!

To say Dr. Wu and the Myopia clinic was a blessing would be an understatement. I’ve had glasses since I was 10 and as an athlete I’ve struggled to play with them. I tried soft contacts but these because too difficult especially after my concussion. Ortho-k have changed my life in such a short time. I no longer have to worry about the dryness, comfort, or contact kits when I’m playing sports or in school and am truly able to focus more on activities during the day. My vision always felt like a burden growing up but being able to put them in my eyes at night and wake up with 20/20 vision just makes me wish I started sooner! My biggest fear was around making sure I knew how to use the hard contacts safely and properly but Dr. Wu and the staff put me at ease immediately when mentioning the frequent checkups, 1-1 training, and labeled materials.
