This place is very unprofessional feels like a mom and pop store. Definitely not normal normal I left as soon as they had no waiting room nowhere for me to sit it was pretty bad.

Said my glasses would be in two weeks nothing no calls now they are saying another week urggh

Found out my daughter didnt actually need such a high prescription, doctor only wanted to medi-cal money for the glasses. before you buy glasses from here get a second opinion. Dr Vanessa (she shouldnt even be called doctor) over corrected which couldve caused a lot of problems for my daughter in the future.

They scheduled my son at 10am on a Saturday. Doctor didn’t open the office until 10:23am (she was running late and receptionist was late as well)I asked why would they make an appointment at 10 if she doesn’t start seeing patients until 10:15am. She was rude when she answered back. “You can leave and come back another time” like b!7$4 i got here 15 minutes before my appointment and waited another 23 minutes because you were late, so NO, I am not going to reschedule. She did my son’s exam in less than 6 minutes with an attitude. So unprofessional.

Dr. Vanessa Hoang is a great eye Dr. to have. Her front office staff is polite and very helpful with insurance. Dr. Hoang took the time to listen to all of my eye concerns and did a great exam . Also she was great with my son and his exam. He has special needs and she was great even getting on the floor with him and having great patience to be able to complete his exam. Glad I found her.

I had an extermely unprofessional experience today at this place. They dont honor appointment times and are not sorry for such behavior. If u value your time, go somewhere else.I had an appointment booked for 2 pm and had verified that I should be done by 3pm. I reached promptly before 2 pm to find 6 people waiting in the waiting area. I asked the very rude receptionist how long it will take for the doctor to see me and she tried to delay and ignoring me as long as possible. After repeated asking she was unapologetic and said it will take more than 1 hour for me to see the doctor at which point I just decided to leave.

Update July 27, 2020. I CONTINUE to get my glasses here eight years later. Got a new pair of Hugo Boss progressive glasses, and recently, Ralph Lauren prescription sunglasses. These sunglasses are marvelous, with polarization; lake reflections are significantly removed and the scenic view at an alpine cabin looking even more luxuriant green and the sky bluer. Dr. Vanessa and Jessica provided great service and helped me to choose a great pair for fit and looks. My best pair of glasses so far. Very happy with everything. Because of Covid, they allow only one person/family at a time, and will call you if you are parked in their parking area. I thought that was an efficient, and safe way to see patients.ORIGINAL REVIEW:GOT MY PROGRESSIVES HERE. I got some progressives from Dr. Hoang back in March of this year. It was my first pair of progressives. I continue to like them very much. I was a little apprehensive at the beginning because the Dr said it could take up to a month to get use to them. I thought wow, that would just not be good. But, I was relieved when they were comfortable the very first time I put them on. Tommy, the office manager helped me with the selection of the frame and it was very close to my old pair which I also got from them a few years ago. My old pair Ive used for more than 5 years and they worked great and her prescription was very good. I have gone to Kaiser to get prescriptions and they always were too strong which I came away feeling dizzy and then needed some time to adjust. My mom also gets her eyeglasses from Kaiser and they are the same way. Anyways, back to my story. When I got home, my wife said that they were very nice so overall, I am very happy with my new progressives and I am recommending them to my friends.

Dr Vanessa Hoang is very friendly and very good eye doctor. she understands our concerns and give option based on it.

Terrible customer service. Its not that hard to get things right. At least if u r wrong, dont argue with ur customer. Will NEVER come back here again. Terrible and unintelligent employees.

The place is very cramped and small. Gets the job done though and came here because its close.
