Usually I wait here 10-15 minutes before talking to someone and that is for 2-3 people in front of me.. then even a simple one item transactions takes ~10 min.It helps if you call but they are still way to slow..

I had a problem with finding an STI tap for a large helicoil. It was a 12 week lead time. The Olander company had them made ahead of time and were on the shelf. Not only that but their staff was very helpful with all my questions. Maybe the most cooperative company I have ever worked with.

I called 2 and a half hours ahead with an order for 200 srews, all 1 type because I did not have time to wait in person. On the phone I was instructed that the order would be complete in an hour and a half. When I showed up, the order had not been processed through their computer system, and I was forced to wait an additional 20 minutes there in person.Not only because the order was not processed, but because the person who was assisting me left to assist someone else, and then gave me attitude when I made it known that I did not have time to wait.They were rude, and unwilling to help speed things up despite the fact that the fault was with them and not on my end. I had to wait for yet another employee to finish assisting someone else who had come in after me.If your time is short, look elsewhere.

I was really hoping to like this company. I did walk in order, about 1000 pieces of metric fasteners.Positives:- Staff was friendly- Order was ready relatively quickly- Customer care is great, company clearly caresNegatives:- You cannot order online and just pick it up. It is 2021, come on.- Got fasteners in sealed plastic bags. You have to cut them open and throw them away. It is waste, what about press-to-close baggies?- I paid 50% more than I would from McMaster. With next day shipping. This one is deal breaker for me. If you cannot do bulk fasteners cheaper than boxed from McMaster, you are doing something wrong.So if you need fasteners right away and do not mind paying more, Olander is a great choice.If you can wait a day or two, you can save money by buying elsewhere.Edit: Adding extra star for their customer support.
