While doing some redesign, we visited this store after having visited many others in the area. We were very, very happy with their selection, their range of options, their prices and most of all, the staff. We ended up buying a few items from them over a few different visits and each time left feeling great about the experience. I especially want to give a shout out to Fabian - who was a pleasure to work with and who has been very responsive to questions, etc. - his customer service commitment is to be commended.

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!!!! This establishment has horrible customer service. I spent over $1200 on two fans that are not blowing enough air. I spoke to the owner called Arthur. He was extremely rude, mocked me, and hanged up the phone on me. I had never been treated with so much disrespect as a customer as i had in this establishment. Find another location to buy your stuff. Their products are garbage and they wont work with you if you are dissatisfied.

5 stars to Arthur,this place is beautiful and has a a wide variety of lamps,chandelier,fans and sconces.Arthur approach to us and gave us a quick sinopsis of the merchandise he has at the store and made few suggestions after he asked what we were looking for,not over berring or pushy at all.We were left to look everything on our own and when we were ready we got Arthur atenttion and he came quickly to helped us.Most lighting stores are closed on a Sunday luckily the lighting outlet was open for business

It is rare to find an honest and patient business persons as I did in Adam and David. I brought an old floor lamp in after I exhausted my ability to fix it myself. I knew I was 99% there, but the final step just wasnt evident. Adam simply saw the 1% I didnt and suggested I needed a new socket, but the one I had was going to be very difficult to find. He gave me a price to repair it and I politely said that 99% of the work was done. He suggested selling me a new socket for $1 and letting me finish the job myself. He suggested every option he could think of while he had a store full of customers. He excused himself a couple of times to attend them, which I fully understood. In the end, He put in the new socket for me and David helped me lug the lamp back out to my car. I HIGHLY recommend The Lighting Outlet. Patient, pleasant and honest!

Went in looking for some outdoor sconces to frame our garage doors. We wanted something different than we could find in the local home improvement stores. A gentleman met us soon after we arrived, showed us their incredible selection, answered our questions, and ordered the fixtures we needed. It was east, they had a huge selection of fixtures to look at and choose from, and the staff could not have been more friendly. Highly recommended.

Parking is difficult as is the older man who basically told me he was too busy to help. Then was impatient while I explained what I needed. Condescendingly told me that they didn’t have what I was looking for and was dismissive.Would not recommend going in unless you are spending a lot of money and then perhaps you will get someone’s attention. Amazing how these people stay in business.Maybe he was having a bad day?

Been shopping around for Lighting and have gone to multiple stores. I really liked this store and noticed same items as other stores near by. Got quoted on the same merchandise and found this store to be way more expensive than the other stores with the same exact products. Also this store is very cluttered. Fix your prices and maybe one day I will shop hers.

I then needed to come back in 2 weeks and drive an hour to come pick it up. The 2 Spanish gentlemen up front are very nice and helpful hit the manager and owner, 2 older gentlemen are extremely rude. I would recommend you come here only to see the light fixtures in person but order them online. Great selections of lights and amazing service.

I ordered 3 items from this company on 1/3/21 and checked on the status of the order on 1/10/21 and was told the items were shipped on 1/8/21. On 1/17/21, I went to their store to inquire about my order and was told by the owner that it should be in on Tuesday, 1/19/21. On Wednesday, 1/20/21, I called to inquire about the status of my order only to be told that the items will leave the manufacturers warehouse on 1/21/21, almost 3 weeks from the date (1/3/21) of the my purchase.I will never buy from these people again because they are dishonest. They lied to me, both the owner and his employees, about the true status of my order. And now, I have to push my bathroom remodel back to who knows when.

I have been a client for a few years. I have always gotten great service and great advice. Recently because I was spending so much time outside in my patio I wanted to upgrade my fans. They advised me that the new fans were much better since mine were 10 years old and that they would make a very big difference. Besides looking great they are significantly better. They always steer me the right way! I highly recommend them!

I had such a great experience at this place and I can say I was somewhat a difficult customer, exchanging pieces and trying to make up my mind so many different times.We came here and bought lighting for our whole house, we were looking for modern and glam style, and they had it all, best selection that we have found with pieces for every style out there, they also worked with us and we got a pretty good bundle price on our items.Gus and Arthur(owner) were extremely nice and willing to work with us, even when we weren’t so easy as I previously stated. Their selections of pieces in my opinion it’s better than anything I’ve seen out there and we had been to 3 other lighting places previously. I would strongly recommend this place, their pieces are unique and beautiful, they curate their pieces with every style in mind, prices are very competitive and the people are definitely willing to work with you and care about the customer.Overall amazing experience!

The worst customer service I’ve ever received. We bought 3 lighting fixtures and paid the extra to have them install it. We had to call almost daily for them to schedule it. When they finally came, they were missing parts and said they had to come back and never bothered to call or come back. My husband and I decided to install the rest ourselves due to the utter lack of communication and absolute garbage customer service. Don’t waste your time. They’re horrible.

My wife and I had a great experience here, we are very happy with our new chandelier, when it came from the manufacturer without bulbs, the lighting outlet made sure that we had our bulbs within two days! They also beat the online price we had found.

Absolutely outstanding! The selection of lights, chandeliers, and ceiling fans was tremendous. Too many to decide from. Fortunately, the staff are all extremely knowledgeable about their products and were able to personally escort us throughout the store and offer suggestions that matched our desires. We were able to fully furnish a new house and update lighting fixtures in a condo in a single session. The prices are more than fair. I drove an hour to get there based on a friends recommendation. I bought 3 lights so they offered a package deal. Rang me up, the price was charged $200 more on my credit card than what was agreed to. We sorted it out and everything was ordered. Upon installation, the installer had no ladder, no specs on my home that I left, and was missing half the parts. This was November, no resolution or attempt. I had to call ever day just to get someone to do something.

Amazing selection!!

Have shopped here for 20 years, and recently bought a lighting fixture and a fan. I spent over $1,000 on these 2 items, and the salesman Gus was great. However, when an additional item I bought was not delivered when it should have been, I was given a bit of attitude by a woman on the phone. When I told her I double checked to see if the item would be delivered by a certain date, she claimed no responsibility. They could have had the item shipped quickly, but told me it would cost too much. Eventually, they gave me the parts from other boxes in stock...but the rods were slightly discolored This was not appreciated. Not sure I will be a customer in future purely because of the lack of customer service I received.

Well I came in and I meet a man named Carlos :)He was very nice and knew all the answers to my questions, he was very polite and made me a laugh. I never had such a great experience at a lighting store in my life like that. Also he gave me a very big discount also he installed my chandelier for a very good price if you need some one to install your light ask for Carlos he definitely knows what hes doing !

I have been searching for ceiling chandeliers for my bedroom and dining area for quite some time. I have been to many different stores till I finally stopped by the lighting outlet at sawgrass and found exactly what I have been searching for with the help of the owner Arthur. Not only does he have a great selection but the prices are just right. At first it can be intimadating because there is just so much inventory, but trust me Arthur will not gear you wrong.. fantastic customer service! Lighting outlet just gained a loyal customer!!!

My experience at The Lighting Outlet was amazing, quick and they have excellent costumer service. They always keep checking up if u need help or even advice on what you looking for. There prices are better than any other lighting outlet I know in Miami. And Fabian did my installation it came out perfect and he did it quick and very good job on it.

The place is very overcrowded with merchandise to start with making it nearly impossible to find what you want. My first encounter was with a sales person Gus who was extremely knowledgeable, nice and helpful which prompted me to go back. However my next visit Gus was not available and I had the misfortune of dealing with Art the most rude and obnoxious sales person I have ever come across ! Horrendous customer service ! I walked out and have no intention of ever shopping there again.

These guys are so funny and helpful! I had to go back and forth and even do a return and they were super nice about it all and patient. Carlos and I bonded and even made inside jokes by the end of my purchase. They worked with me on pricing as well. I highly suggest coming here. Went to return a chain and 3 foot piece of wire. The owner of the store gave me a hard time. Told me that most people would not bother returning it. It was $37. I bet if he found $37 he would not throw it away. I will never go back .He charged me $10 for the 3 foot piece of wire said he could not use it. Talk about BIG SPENDERS........

The worst.! Horrendous customer service accompanied by the fact that it took several months for the lights I ordered to arrive. Every time I’d call to inquire about my order the staff would say theyd call me right back. Never received the follow up calls and would have to hound them for information. Save the aggravation and go elsewhere. Pricing is decent but better values can be found on line without the headaches.

Lots of inventory and the prices were about average for light fixtures. There were some really nice styles. The problem was that it was so disorganized and overcrowded that it almost induced claustrophobia and you had to keep ducking to keep from bonking your head.

This place is dump right as you walk through the door. Dusty and cluttered and prices are no deal. Careful about phoning ahead. I was told they had one thing and when I got there they didnt have it and whats more the man in charge didnt care that he had just wasted my time. This shop can be easily skipped without regret.

These people gave me the run around and made me wait for weeks for item. After it was wrong I had to wait another 3 weeks for the owner to show up and tell me that I cant refund it. You should take care of the store and the products, is dirty, crowded and look unattended, i even thought it was a pawnshop... and the prices are overrated for offer you can compare at other places, no wonder why its empty.

I ordered a floor lamp and was told it would arrive in a week. I called a week later and was told it would be a few more days and they would call me. When I did not hear from them, I called again and was told it would be a few more days. Then I called again and was told it was on back order and it would be another week . When I asked why no one told me this from the 2nd phone call they said they didnt know. Sandy said she would call me back when I said I wanted to cancel the order, she never did. I called again and was told she wasnt there, and when I asked for a refund they said to take it up with the credit card company. They were extremely rude and had terrible customer service. In these times, one would think that they would be accomodating. I do not recommend this place, there are plenty of other lighting stores around town. GO ELSEWHERE.

I went to see if they had lampshades. The owner was not very nice when I asked if he had more. Also, I thought their prices were way, way up there for stuff you can get at HomeDepot or Lowes or even Ikea.Too overpriced and not very nice people. People that go to the Sawgrass come from all over the USA and the World and this outfit is basically trying to gouge them! Bad move fellows. I will never go back there nor recommend to anybody.
