Chris at the Suwanee, GA location was great! I spoke with two other Pep Boys locations and the employees I spoke too were rude and very short on the phone when I was asking questions. Chris was more than helpful, thorough, and went the extra mile. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been bringing my family’s cars here for years and Chris is consistently great…always professional and friendly…and not just to me, I’ve heard working with other customers and he gives everyone his time and attention. While the labor shortage has affected everyone, Chris managed my expectations and my car through very efficiently. I’d highly recommend these folks and ask for Chris when you go there.

Went in Tuesday morning for a scheduled oil change, was told the wait would be extremely long and was able to reschedule for first thing today. Chris got me taken care of and was super helpful even though I ended up needing quite a bit extra done. They were fair and kind, and I will definitely be back (though hopefully not too soon!!) :)

Awesome service for my Mercedes! Full synthetic oil change, wiper blades, coolant flush, alignment and a Cabin air filter! I brought the vehicle in for service A, after the full inspection, I was pleasantly surprised by the honesty and integrity they displayed and the Zero pressure sales approach! David and his team are phenomenal. All very professional!

This is by far the best Pep Boys. I pass 3 other locations to come here. Chris and Joe took care of me and my car. They didnt try and sell me things I dont need. I will always return to this location.Returned again today October 27, 2021and Chris was more then helpful and friendly. He always answers any questions I may have truthfully. He sells me only what I need for my car. Thats incredible customer service in todays situation. I waited awhile for them to service my car because they are short staffed but I understand and will never go anywhere else. Keep up the great work

I wish I could rate them ZERO stars, 1 star is way too high. Made an appointment 10 days before installation with Joe who had no record of the appointment. I decided to leave the car when they said it would be done before 11:30. I called and spoke to the more elderly guy ( Chris I think ) and he said my car was next on the lift. So, I waited until 4:30, had a coworker drive me out of his way to drop me off and retrieve the old wheels and tires. The car had just gone up in the air. I asked why the delay and they gave me some BS lies about the TPMS being gummed up and they needed to rebuild them but didnt have the parts. At this point all old wheels still had the tires on them. How could they know they needed to be rebuilt if they never took them out of the wheel? Waited around another hour for them to install 4 wheels. I would have respected these guys more if they told me the truth to begin with ( they were working on waiting customers ). PLEASE do not use this shop for anything !!

Joe, the assistant manager, was an absolute professional! He was kind as I waited for my work van to be towed to the location and was vocally upset when my company took all day to help me. And they did great work to my van. I would recommend him to anyone and Im bringing my personal vehicle here the next time I need assistance.

Man these guys are great; they really care about your vehicle and even though I needed just one tire on my wrx they told me I needed four even though I was broke that day and knew that previously... they probably saved my diff and v coupler due to my high mileage on it by being as persistent as they were about it, and they were out of the tires that day but went through some loopholes and stressful conversation with me just to get me what I needed (4th of July) god bless these dudes for even showing up to work on a holiday. And I was pretty rude at first but the dude in the front (tattooed bald husky dude) he had such great customer service he just prevailed through it anyways and helped me out, while informing me of policies and just general knowledge; will from now on come here to get my tires. Thanks to these guys man. Really helped me.

My mom was driving from Florida to visit. Her van was pulling to the right and it was raining her wiper blades were bad. David had the technician fix her alignment and installed new rain x wiper blades. We can see better than ever and the van drives like new again. We are so happy with the services they provided.

My daughter bought a new car so I wanted to get it checked out to make sure that there was nothing wrong it. I had her meet me early in the morning so that we wouldnt have to spend a whole Saturday dealing with it. When we arrived at the store we were greeted by a young man named Chris. It was raining and gloomy outside the type of day that make most people grumpy but not Chris. Though he had a mask on I could tell that he was smiling. He put my daughter mind at ease with in just a couple of minutes of us being there. He talked to us as if he had known us for years and not at us as if we were just another number walking thru the door. Because of Chris I feel like I can send my daughters to this location and they will be treated with respect and get an honest evaluation of what needs to be done. It was truly my pleasure doing business with Pep Boys and I have to say thanks to Chris.

I am giving it one star because Google wouldnt let me post otherwise.Left the car for an oil change and they had general inspection as part of the service. After the service, I could continuously hear grinding noise when braking. Took it to Joe, and all Joe said after checking the car for almost 4 hours was that, since I had all the oils changed, there is grinding noise coming. The noise became worst in a week and a simple google search suggested potential problem with Brake pads. Took it to another auto care nearby for a second opinion and he said that the Brake Pad and Rotors needs to be changed because all are worn out.A straightforward google search returned that if we hear noise while braking, its not safe to operate and issue would be with Brake pads. But Joe dismissed telling its because of new oil, putting my family and my life in jeopardy.Please consider before availing their services.

The new management at this pep boys is amazing! This location was always my go-to purely out of convenience from it being so close to my house. Every time I used to go I’d always be anxious because being the college-aged woman I am who doesn’t know a thing about cars, I was bound to get ripped off. Previous managers were dishonest and inconsiderate but David has turned this place around! I’ve been in twice recently and have been treated so well and can tell this is a very trustworthy crew! I have zero concerns bringing my car here now.

Ron & Michaels passion and integrity is shared by the entire staff - knowledgeable, professional, and just dead honest! Joe was very rude and disrespectful. I made an appointment for 1:30, and when I arrive he says it’s gonna be a couple hours until they can install a single tire for me. I ask what’s the point of me making an appointment if I can’t have work done until a few hours after the appointment time. He rudely starts to raise his voice and says if I had a doctors appointment I would have to wait also. Terrible service, they don’t care about you or your time and have a “who cares, you have to wait” attitude. This is my first and my last visit at this location.

Walked out on a Sunday morning. Stood there for 5 minutes while person behind the counter just continued to do paper work. Did not acknowledge people entering the store. After 5 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged, I left and went elsewhere. Called on the phone, and spoke with Joe and he had me all hooked up with new tires and an appointment for today.

Their appointment system is not working. I had the appointment setup online and was told there are 3 other cars for the same appointment. The staff is friendly. I had to wait a while due to their busy schedule.

I’ve been a Pep Boys customer for a few years, and the service there is excellent. Management always does a great job of ensuring customers are well-taken care of in both quality and price. It’s great they even provide a car service to take you home while your car is getting serviced.

I wanted to like this place but theyre 3 star at best maybe more a 2. They are disorganized. I scheduled an appointment but had to wait about an extra 30mins still. Service manager and a service tech got into a verbal agreement about hrs and employment security. Prices are average with coupons or deals. Only pros were the waiting area was clean and nice, and service manager and tech still tried to give good customer service from what i saw. I wouldnt recommend this location, only stopped by because it was close to my house.Edit: Been here 2 more times and definitely will not be coming back now. Service is consistently bad. Both times I scheduled appointments and ended up waiting an hr before my car was serviced. Also when I got the car back both times there was oil and grease stains in my interior, and I have white leather interior so it was very noticeable. Finally in my last visit I had some clothes and a hat in my car in my last visit and when I got my car back, the clothes had moved around, glove box was open, (like someone dug around in the car) and my hat which was a $90 Burberry hat was missing.

I had a great experience with the manager, Nelson. He was very patient and caring while helping me purchase new tires and pay with a Pep Boys Credit card. Great drive on the way home too. Thank you!

The customer service was mediocre at best. I drove out of my way to patronize this particular store because of the overall good reviews. However, at the end of my already lengthy visit, the in-store tech moved at a snails pace and took his precious time checking me out, AND tried to charge me more than he quoted me until I called it out. I was actually willing to let that go, but on top of that, I later discovered the garage tech basically lied to me about addressing the air pressure in my tires at the end of my diagnostic visit. He told me he checked them and put air in them and that the light will go off shortly after driving- Great..all good. However, after an hour or so my tps indicator was still lit, so I had to make an additional stop at a discount tire for a check, and the tech told me my rear tire was almost completely flat. Wait, what? So I just spent 2 hrs(and yes I understand these things take time so I was patient) and spent just shy of $100 for a diagnostic, and you cant even put some air in my tires?? Or at least be forth coming and say you did not or just forgot to put the air in.. thats even forgivable.. but DO NOT lie to me. Yes, it seems like a frivolous issue, but principle and integrity are EVERYTHING.. especially these days when its almost impossible to come by. If I cant trust you with a simple task and honesty regarding air in my tire, Im definitely going to second guess you under the hood of my vehicle. I then called the shop to address my concerns and spoke with Toby( a manager?) and he seemed genuine regarding my complaint- he(and slight benefit of the doubt)is the only reason this review managed 3 stars because it likely deserves less. They dont have to worry about seeing me again, but Im clearly disappointed and I really hope everyone gets it together. We have to do better in taking care of each other, and we should all be striving for excellence in whatever it is we do. I sincerely hope they do better for future patrons.

Ive taken my van to a few places for oil changes & almost always end up spending way more than anticipated. But I was thrilled when I brought it up to Pep Boys a few months ago with the price & efficiency! I was in & out in less than an hour. Ive used them exclusively since then & have always had the best experiences. Jason, Jay, and the shop techs have all been very professional, honest, and helpful. They give me a heads up on what my van will need soon, etc. I highly recommend them!

On a recent trip through Atlanta my check engine light came on. My vehicle is fairly new so I was concerned. I stopped in to get it checked out. Nelson and his staff were friendly helpful and quick. We found it was just the gas cap that hadnt sealed properly when I last filled up... we resealed the gas cap they reset the light and I was on my way and had no further issues. Highly recommend this location.

My first service here was excellent by the entire staff(this has brought me back today). Jay and Jason where very attentive great attitude and take care of my needs and i will definitely recommend this Pep Boys location to all my friends......way to go! utmost for the highest.

Husband was trying to find a good deal on tires for his work truck. Called this store and Jason was glad to give us pricing and explain the different options. Had a great deal for the tires! Dropped off the truck and called him later checking back in and he said to come grab it, that it would be ready soon. Truly enjoyed talking to Jason and had great experience. Went back today due to a screw in one of the tires they again helped my husband out with GREAT SERVICE! We will definitely be back to this location!

Hard to find a good car shop in suwanee. Took my car in for rotate and balance along with oil change. I picked my car up 4 hours later to find numerous dings on my driver side door with grease marks. I told them about it and they said they would watch the cameras. They called me 5 minuets later claiming they watched 4 hours of video footage of my car and said they couldn’t see anything. I was just talking to the manager about customer service and how they strive to be great. But they avoid that their workers hit my car with either a tool or some part of a machine. Very poor customer service. Stay away from pep boys at all costs. Terrible shop with very poor standards. 1 stars for pep boys wish I could give them 0 stars. STAY AWAY FROM PEP BOYS!!!!!!

I been customer ever since this location was opened. I had good experience working with Jason all the time but Jay has been very low on customer service. Today I confirmed that oil change service does include tire rotation after service I asked Jay did they rotate tires he said YES which I knew he is lying. I asked Tech the same he said no your car didnt need it so came back in to ask Jay why you lied he answer was I am too busy to check and you got discounted price so not a big deal since its free anyway . I felt cheated. Also he was so rude and refused to give corporate #. Said go Google it.. Very upsetting. Will take future business else where. Only couple yrs old location has under 4 star is not a surprise

Onetime you helped me in a very very busy schedule on Saturday for oil change and other minor repair in spite of your guys were so busy. Couple of times, my wife came to your shop for checking air pressure because of winter, and you guys never said No to her. I came yesterday too because of my flat tire and again you guys helped me out on Sunday even busy. I was used to go to other shop earlier but the attitude and dedication of your team and you made me impressed so much that i come for my all the vehicles as well as spread the words among our family and friends. The facility is very cleaned, have hot coffee in the winter, price is very reasonable. The most important part is that you and your team is very dedicated. You guys deserve more that FIVE STARS.

I purchased four Michelin tires several months back, using a coupon I received a good price. I was informed I could use front brake pads and since I also had a coupon for these, I had new pads installed. Overall reasonably good experience and prices.I returned on September 1, a Friday to have my tires rotated. I was told they were slammed so I made an appointment at 1:00 pm on Tuesday. When I arrived, I was informed they were backed up and that it would be 30 minutes to an hour before they could get to me - the guy then told me that booking on-line is not a good indication of time as all work may not be reflected in the schedule. I then told him that I had made the appointment in person, he simply said, Oh. I agreed to come back in 30 minutes. When I arrived I waited about ten minutes and noticed they had taken my car into the shop. After 30 minutes, with no one working on the car, I asked how much longer as I had another appointment. The mechanic that was at the computer asked about other service I needed, oil change, etc. I noted that I had synthetic oil installed and did not need any other service at this time. He then asked who changed my oil and I told him the dealer - his response was incredulous - You should ask your dealer to rotate your tires! I simply said back the car out and hand me the key. I will never step foot in this place again. Unbelievably poor customer service!

Decided to call to get price on tires for my cars as it’s the closet tire store from home. Not too friendly.. doesn’t really seems like they want business. Only one type tire was available and didn’t really want to get those for me. Totally opposite experience than tire plus near by. Tire plus always have excellent service and I guess that’s why I always go there..

This has been such a great car experience for me. Nelson and Jay have been awesome and they did their best to give me an amazing price while explaining each move they were making to the car. No hidden surprises. I drive an 05 BMW that can be tricky to fix and they still were able to make it work for me and keep the price low. George was the main mechanic on the job and he knows his stuff for sure.If you can make it to this PepBoys shop for your car troubles I would highly suggest it because theyll do everything they can to help the customer out. Good people here no doubt about it!

I will not go to do service at this location in the future again. They are threatening the customers to do service at their location. If I dont purchase or do service at their location, they threatened me with calling police for not purchase or service at their location.

I haven’t been able to drive my car for over three years due to needing so many repairs. I’ve never been this pleased with the quality of work, communication, and detail from any shop, service center, or dealership than I am with Pep Boys. From towing, tires, brakes, rotors, battery, tuneup, new electrical lines, wiper blades, filter, and even cleaning up a couple of rats nests to name a few, describes how dedicated Pep Boys is to customer service. I highly recommend if your looking for excellent work and having it done right visit the Pep Boys in Suwanee, Ga. My grandfather who has passed away co-signed with me on my 2002 Monte Carlo SS brand new, and to have all this work started Friday morning and then getting the car back Sunday evening was amazing. When our car broke down in the parking lot—with 4 young children—the staff at pep boys were so gracious and helpful. They helped us identify the problem and saved us hundreds of dollars by referring us back to the folks that had recently performed service (so they could fix the error from that previous service). Pep boys employees were kind as we waited for an hour in their lobby. I love that they were so willing to help us out—even when it didn’t benefit them financially.

I had been having a noise when turning right that Ford was unable to diagnose after 4 days. Since Nelson and Scott had put new tires on the vehicle recently, I brought it here for them to look at even though I had an extended warranty at Ford. Scott was able to identify the exact problem with a short test drive and 3 minutes on the lift...something the dealer couldnt do in 4 days. The car is now quiet again and the wife is happy. Will be bringing all my cars here for tires and service....Thank you!

I love Nelson and his staff. They go above and beyond on all their work. It is rare to find a shop where the associates greet you by name as soon as you walk in. If you want a piece of mind knowing your vehicle repair work was done properly then go see Nelson and his staff.

Ordered tires online and scheduled install appt., all within 5 minutes.Decent pricing. Dropped the car off at scheduled time, it was ready in about 90min. Went and picked it up. Easy Easy Easy. I took my wife’s car there a few weeks ago to top up her brake fluid, because the dealership could not accommodate our schedule. ( To add brake fluid on a X5, you must take the grill off from under the hood ) . Not only did they add the brake fluid, they added some Synthetic oil, as the noticed that it was a little low . When I asked what I owed them ? . The assistant manager, said, that’s ok, it’s no charge, it’s on us ! Have a great day ! Wow ! Now that’s what I call great customer service ! ! ! They can teach a few other business that I know of, the definition of good customer service!

The price was decent. However I do not understand the point of making an appointment if when I get there I am told that it will be 30 minutes before they can get to me...why did I schedule the service if I had to wait. So what should have been a 12-12:45 appointment left me (34 weeks pregnant) walking to Dunkin Donuts to sit for an hour and a half while I wait to have a standard oil change. I got there at 11:55 and didnt have our Jeep back until 1:40.

Went there in December because it was close to my house but This place has the worst customer service. I paid over $1700 for tires and they told me that I needed an alignment. Told him to go ahead. Later that night they told me they COULDNT FIGURE OUT how to align my car so they said they just put tires on.When driving home I had to turn the wheel about a quarter turn to the left to keep the car straight. And all kinds of Warning lights came on driving home. The car was driving fine aside from the tires when I took it in. They denied touching the alignment. They did something and Made the car worse.Took it to the dealer and the dealer noted fresh wrench marks where someone attempted an alignment but botched it. And the dealer ended up fixing the issue.Went back due to a nail in the tire which would be covered under road hazard. They said they can see me in an hour when I tried to schedule to come back later they said they couldnt guarantee being seen when there was no one in the waiting room. He told me the next appointment would be 3-4 days out, just to patch a tire.Needless to say when they have to do something without charging the customer they dont care about the customer. They would rather have us driving around with a flat tire. Never going there again.

Returned a battery we bought there. They could tell it was dead but offered no warranty unless it was in the car. Clearly, you cant drive a car with a dead battery. Even used the loyalty card with purchase of original battery. No help. Go elsewhere. Dont waste your time or money.

Dropped my car off at 9am this morning for an oil change while I was at work, I was informed that my tiny car required an oil filter that they didnt have in stock but it could be ordered and delivered before I was done with work. At 4:15 I walked over to get my car and it wasnt ready as the filter had arrived shortly before I came back. I wasnt in any rush but the assistant manager, Jason James personally performed my oil change immediately after I arrived. Jason also explained some of the displays on my dash - I dont have an owners manual and I just wing it- so that I could better monitor the performance of my car. Even though I was not really inconvenienced by having to wait another 20 minutes, Nelson Aponte, the store manager made things better at check out with a discount for my troubles. The members I saw seemed to work well together and have the customers satisfaction in high priority. I will definitely see them for my next service.

If I can put 0 for the rating, I would definitely do that. I bring my car to the store for the regular oil change, and the manager try to sell me the synthetic oil change even my car is just 40K miles, and said the regular one is not available to my car. Obviously I denied for that and just do the regular one. However, this is not the bad part. One week after, I noticed there is oil leak under my car, so I bring my car to the my own garage, ramp it up, and found out the oil filter is very loosely installed, and that is leaking the oil, after I tight it up, the issue fixed. I cant believe a professional auto store doesnt tight up the oil filter when they do the service, and will this story to all my friend and avoid same thing happening to their car.

Jay was unprofessional. I will not be back. I have never felt like my car wasnt worthy of being fixed. Dont charge someone $500 when they come in for an oil change. Worst Pep Boys Ive ever been to. Ill be taking my business to Tires Plus or Suwanee Service Station from now on.

We have visited this location several times for routine services and we generally have been happy with the service.However, they recently replaced the front office manager and he has generally been unhelpful. I needed to have a tail light replaced and he didn’t even check before turning me away. On another occasion I needed to have the brakes and an oil leak checked. He seemed more concerned with finishing the date and wasn’t concerned with helping me fix the issues that were outstanding.We will find another local auto shop to take our business to.

This location is absolutely great. A gentleman named Mr. Henry Payne was very helpful. The service is outstanding!

Friendly staff took care if my oil change. Took my coupon and didnt change the price. I would recommend the location for car servicing.

This is the best Pepboys I have been too! The staff and manager are always available to answer any questions I have. My car has been serviced with tires, oil changes, brakes, and fluid flushes. Also, I have a very large family and they bring their cars just because they know they arent being taken advantage of. I would definitely recommend anyone to bring their cars here.

I was immediately greeted although the manager was busy with another customer. I had an appointment and these guys got my car right in. I had recently been to dealer and was told I needed some brake work so these guys inspected my car and told me the brakes were fine. Brandon, the store manager even took the time to walk me out to the car in the shop and show me what was going on and quickly explain it so that I could be assured I was safe. This pepboys is full of honesty and integrity. We had a quick laugh about the stealership trying to take advantage of me and then they let me go without even charging for the inspection. Kudos to this store and the entire time for taking care of their customers the right way

This pep boys serviced my vehicle and did a poor job. I went back in a few weeks later and they redid the work correctly without question. I was pleased with the results.

These guys were awesome my work truck had two flats they had me towed to the shop and tire put on and got me right back on the road.

Only two people on shift. Was told I would have to wait up to 3 hours for an oil change because they were short staffed and someone got there before me. Guy seemed nice enough but don’t waste your time.

One of my Camrys headlights was gone, went to Pepboys to replace it. Met a gentleman by name Nelson. He was very friendly and courteous. He hardly took any time to put a new headlight.
