Ive been shopping at Town Center Music for years and its always been an amazing experience! The owner, Aaron, is incredibly friendly and the staff has always been very helpful in finding whats right for me. They have helped me with guitars, pedals, and everything in between.Also, the repair team is second to none. I dont trust anyone else to work on my guitars!

I normally dont leave reviews, but I had such a great experience with Town Center Music that I had to leave one. I went in to get a restring for my Taylor, but the technician recommended that I have a fret dress instead. I was experiencing buzzing on my guitar especially when I was playing with a Capo, but I hadnt realized it was my frets that was causing the issue.John Michael was the technician for my guitar. I was hesitant at first due to the difference in price, but he did a fantastic job explaining why it was important. I trusted him and when I received the guitar, it was in absolutely great condition and played beautifully without any buzzing whatsoever! The fret dress comes with a standard set up and polish, and it was worth the money. It feels great to play and I love the finish. I recommend people to come to Town Center Music for any repairs!

I called Earnest ahead of time about selling my Fender Banjo 54 and he was super nice. When I showed up, he had such a high level of customer service and super nice. This was refreshing after just coming back from Main Drag where they had attitudes and werent nearly as nice. Cant wait to come back and do more business with them, they are the best!

If you need guitar repairs, this is the place to go. Town Center was a pleasure to deal with, all around. Honest, communicative, lightning-fast and first-rate quality work at a very competitive prices. My repair was relatively minor (install a 3-way switch), but they nailed it. Beautifully clean soldering and the turn-around time was 24 hours! You can tell a great deal about a business by how they treat minor jobs. Through every step of the repair process, it was clear to me that the guys at Town Center valued my business.Additionally, they have an impressive selection of guitars and amps. If youre a gear lover, their huge pedal collection is truly a sight to behold!

I randomly walked in a few weeks ago and instantly knew this was the store for me. If you want great gear with an amazing staff check out this place, they have an amazing array of effects pedals too. The sales associate, Julian, was awesome he never steered me wrong on suggestions of what I might be interested in. One thing I noticed that truly went above and beyond, was he listens to the customers style of playing and makes his recommendations on that. Over the course of about a month I ended purchasing about 4 pedals and a new guitar there. I will be a long-time customer at Town Center Music and already planning my next purchase.

I recently bought a cajon from here, amongst other cool guitar equipment; and I am very pleased with each item. Bought a used Takamine guitar here. The owners top priority was me being satisfied with the purchase from the beginning and he followed through with it: even after Id bought the guitar, I had a concern with it and he had me bring it back in & they sorted it out. The guitar was pretty much street price - plays great. Much also appreciated was the 10% store credit on purchases - I walked out with a Kyser capo on top. Happy camper.

You walk in, you’re met with both eye and ear candy, and you get the space you want or the answers you need to explore it. I used to drive to guitar center when I needed things, but now I just ask these fine folks and they either have it, or know how to get it, or have something better.

A string on my 8yrs old daughter’s guitar broke. I searched and found Town center music. I called ahead to speak with someone before driving down there. The guy who answered was pleasant and answered my question and gave me a quote. When I got there I was happy to see their COVID precautions! He fixed my daughter’s guitar string quickly. I was so pleased with the service that I bought a guitar strap and will consider their virtual private lessons.

Had a great experience here recently. I bought a Squire Telecaster online and although it played ok out of box, but the action was pretty high and the intonation was off especially when using a capo. I contemplated setting it up myself. However, I really didnt want to mess it up. I took it to the store, and left it for setup. I was told it would be done in about a week. Well, they had it done in 5 days and it is like night and day. Action was lowered without causing any buzzing. And the intonation is spot on. I can use a capo down to the 4th or 5th feet and notes are right on.This store has gained a loyal customer.

Zach Ohl was the most helpful employee at any Music Store I have EVER been to. I come from a brass instrument background and knew little about guitars when I walked in. But he set me up with a nice acoustic/electric guitar, amp, picks, and everything needed for well under my price point. He answered every question I had along the way and did so with empathy for a beginner like me. 10/5 stars if I could.

Drove by many time wishing I had time to stop and check out store. Definitely worth a stop ! They had every audio cable I needed for hooking up new Kemper Profiler I purchased. While there purchased the New Shure SRH440 wired studio headphones, A+ for sure. Store is organized and professional, unlike Atlanta Big name guitar store. I am a buyer for a area school staff not help full over phone or in person good news is you can get in and out quick as store is almost always empty prices seem higher for like merchandise then the near by music stores and amazon. People that make a living playing music dont hang out as we have work to do. We are a christian school and for safety of students I can give out that info and school board want us to business with christian owned

Having done a lot of research into buying my 1st electric guitar, a friend highly recommended Town Center Music. Having visited, I can see why they were so highly recommended. A family owned business, managed by and staffed with skilled, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people, I was never rushed and given the opportunity to play any guitar I wanted. I did not go there to buy a guitar yet, but Justin was so helpful and mentioned their layaway plan, I put down my deposit. I asked for an amp recommendation and after Justin asked enough questions of me and how I planned to use this new instrument (Gretsch, Les Paul body style), he recommended an amp that is small but powerful and perfect for my needs. I could not be happier and can now highly recommend Town Center Music to anyone that cares about customer service, small local business and quality products.

My middle school child called to get prices and check on lessons. A guy picked up phone said hang on Yell to someone in store GET THE F OUT OF THE G =D STORE i heard it because it was on speaker phone. He and I were both shocked he just hung up. I told he only white trash talk like that. We will not call again

The guys at town center are awesome. I had some work done on a “partscaster” build I was doing and town center’s work helped a ton. Their repair work is top notch and the employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back!

This is the best place in the area to get set-ups and work done. I used to take my guitars to Southeastern but never really could get them quite how I like them... it’s cheaper at Town Center too! Sales people are super cool and chill, no condescending music-store-employee attitude here (like you’ve probably experience elsewhere.) They’ll chat gear and music with you. Also, there’s good gear inside for all levels from beginner to someone looking for something really nice.

Great job working on my Martin GPC Special - sounds amazing, livelier than factory setup, with same warm Martin tone. John Michael and Dustin were top notch, in both suggestions and workmanship.

Pure Garbage guitar setup - Barely playable - It should have been free - I could have raised the string height to 1/2 myself and called it setup.Was better before I brought it in. Should have known when all the guitars for sale in the store were set up like a $50 plastic acoustic.Just as bad as the other guys in the area. Wont be returning. 2 stars are for courtesy.

This place has a great selection for a relatively small to mid sized shop. Everything from a guitar to a violin to a compressor pedal to a drum kit, they have it. The instrument The staff is amazing and they all happen to know me by name. Weather youre looking for a cheap beginner guitar or a rig to play an arena, you can find it here. Its well worth a drive and Ive never been unhappy coming out if this place.

Dustin repaired some wiring/soldering on my telecaster and did a great setup. The guitar is in better shape than its ever been. He was also very communicative and helpful when we encountered extra problems with the guitar. Thanks!

Excellent store. Ive taken 2 guitars and 1 bass there for setups and electrical work on the recommendation of the leader of a band I play bass in (Drew in one of the other reviews) and hes 100% right. Awesome setups, fast turnaround time and the electrical work I had done on my P90 Mustang breathed new life into that guitars tone. The techs there really knows their stuff and everyone there is friendly and helpful. As long as Im in Gwinnett, Town Center Music is where Im going from now on, they ROCK!

I checked out the latest reviews for this location and it seemed like the manager might have been an older dude in a garage band and I was really excited because my garage band needed an older dude that was in a band yet had NO musical experience (thats hard to find!). I went in to the shop kinda late and I was happy to find that they were still open. While waiting for the manager to finish thoroughly assisting some people there I checked out all of the very reasonably priced music gear. The only thing that was disappointing to me was that when I spoke to the manager I instantly saw that he was a younger dude with a lot of music knowledge and he did not want to join my garage band. Anyway, I loved the place and will absolutely return! Thanks Aaron!

I was in need of an immediate re-fret for my #1 (primary guitar); a sonic blue stratocaster build vintage 89 Fender Custom Shop neck, DiMarzio overwound Area series pickups and a custom Warmoth hardtail body.Jon Michael refretted my guitar with new jumbo frets and its hands down the best refret Job Ive ever seen. Absolutely flawless craftsmanship. Great price, and super fast turn-around. He threw in a set up and even redoweled my strap peg and a loose neck screw. Cant recommend their services enough.Ill be coming back for any further guitar service needs in the future

Everything i ever get, i get here. The place is clean, staff is quick on their feet to tend to your needs. They have all necessity items. So far ive bought at least 5-6 instruments here all setup and ready to go out the door. At guitar center most of their merch is battered and used before you take it home with a poor setup which is why i highly recommend Town Center. They take great care of the items in the store.

I found the Town Center Music store after I moved to the area. I have to tell you that this spot has a really great feel to it.Call me strange but as a musician I really want to find a great spot that isnt too big (Guitar center) and not also not too small that it feels sketchy.They have a really great layout, everything is clean, (they have alot of assorted equipment) they have a wall setup for folks looking for other musicians ( Im buford looking for other people btw), they have a huge selection of pedals and they also are very helpful and very informative.They took care of me really great (Kevin in particular) and I hope I can help convince you to give these guys a look over as I did.(Ill be seeing you guys tommorow for some new strings if your reading this)
