This place really doesnt deserve even one star.Classic towing was a terrible experience, at a time of chaos and worry over a loved one..This company was heartless and were only interested in the scam they run to make money...The sad thing is they are contracted by the city of Swansea as their go to choice when theres and accident. I URGE Swansea to choose a better company to represent them.,the Postal service in Belleville should also consider someone else as well.....My word of advice to anyway that is being towed by Classic tow is get your vehicle off there truck,request another company,and DO NOT let your car be taking to their lot....because they are gonna be rude and charge you like crazy...and you will be lucky to get your personal items.....Staff is Horrible and I believe racist.....sorry about the rant....they should just be out of business

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. My car was stolen in March and since Belleville PD doesnt have a impound lot they utilize a tow company. My car was stolen and then sold for drugs...then used in the commission of a crime...I am 100% a VICTIM of a crime....and I was treated like the criminal....I was charged $300 to retrieve my stolen vehicle, I had to loose a days work, just to run around and try and come up with the money to get my car back. All of this after Belleville PD gave me a waiver for the costs. The man I encountered told me that it wasnt his problem I got my car towed and basically I should make better decisions....like it was my choice to have someone steal my car!!! I told him I was the VICTIM that my car had been stolen...he goes well to bad...you can give me the $300 or Ill take it to crush it. This place is nothing my low rent thugs profiting off of other peoples misfortune...like I didnt have enough to worry about after my car was stolen I had to deal with the most rude tow truck driver and pay $300 for my STOLEN CAR. disgraceful....they should be out of business.

This review is directed toward their towing services only. This company towed my customers vehicle by order of the Swansea, IL police on 8-2-18. I went to the the tow yard the next morning (11.5 hours after the tow) to retrieve the vehicle and avoid storage fees. In Illinois, no towing company can impose charges for storage for the first 24 hours after towing, according to the Illinois vehicle code (625 ILCS 5/18a-200 paragraph 6). The woman helping me charged me for 2 days of storage $80.00. I asked her how did she come up with that if the vehicle has only been on your lot for 11.5 hours? She said, We go by CALENDAR DAYS and it was towed in last night. I explained to her that is not legal and even tried to show her the IL vehicle code stating this, She told me if I have a problem with the charges take it up with the Swansea PD they signed off on it. I went ahead and paid the storage fees so I could get the vehicle released and not be charged more storage. I am writing this review to inform others who have been victimized by this towing company or any other towing companies. Illinois has laws to protect consumers from these predatory towing companies and if you feel you have victimized, you can file a complaint online with the Illinois Commerce Commission Police.

Have taken many cars there over the years. The price is always the best and the work is always 1st class.

My sons truck was towed was told the toe bill was going to be $250 and no storage fees for 24hrs. Then was told I would have to pay a $50 gate fee to have the vehicle even after I pay the toe fee. This is an unethical extortion practice. I do not know if the auto body business is ran by the same people but if they are I would suggest for you to beware.
