Came to Verizon in Swansea and had the pleasure of meeting and working with Carla. She was wicked awesome. She was able to get me all hooked up and I was even able to get a new watch! I recommend everyone one go visit Carla!!
Dont let the building mislead you. This is not a corporate store and it makes a difference. Dont go here expecting any fees Verizon tells you online to be accurate. Went for sim cards, told it would be $20 each and taxes and fees when a corporate store would have been free. No thanks. Ill save my $40+ for my two cards and order online or visit corporate. You lost our current accessory sales and any future sales.
Met with Rithy Tep about a week ago. He was super helpful, out me in a plan that best fit my family and we sealed the deal with 2 new phones.Turns out the phone wasnt right for me. I met with Rithy again and long story short, I have the phone that is perfect for my needs. He was terrific.I highly recommend him; down to Earth, knowledgeable and patient.Thanks Rithy! The Note and the Pixel are perfect!
Working with Rithy was a delightful experience. He assisted in answering questions that reviews couldnt readily answer about the phones we were looking into, and encouraged us to do our research at the same time as we were working with him. A key aspect of his work was the talk of creating an in-store culture of long term relationships with customers, and thats the atmosphere he created.Overall an informative and friendly experience.

The staff here is always friendly, attentive, and will try to find you the best deal to maximize your savings and minimize your payment. (Which also means they will always offer you an upgrade if you are eligible, but Im ok with that.) They are never pushy and are respectful if they offer something and I say no. They dont keep pushing at it. They are also always very well stocked. I highly recommend this location for all of your Verizon wireless needs.
We had a terrible experience with Verizon’s corporate office in Dartmouth. We stumbled upon the Swansea store on our way to Seekonk. Justin and Raquel and Ashley were extremely welcoming. We sat down with Ashley whom made the experience quick and easy. She was so helpful! I couldn’t have asked for a better encounter! I’d recommend this place over any Verizon store ever!! We will be back to see Ashley for sure!

My wife and I had a very positive experience at this store this past weekend. Our salesperson, Mr. Wisner Calixte, was competent, thorough, efficient, and most pleasant. He explained all of our options very clearly, and did not push anything we did not want. He spent a lot of time making sure our phones worked properly before we left the store, and did a careful job of installing all accessories. Ive had positive experiences with this store in the past as well, and Id highly recommend Mr. Calixte as a salesperson; it was a pleasure doing business with him.
Went in only to swap contacts from one phone to another, ended up with 4 different phones and a very much larger bill, hate going there, 2 1/2 hrs later

Devin was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and provided us with the right equipment upgrades to fit our needs. He transferred all of our data, contacts/photos/music/apps..etc over to our new phones making the transition over to our new phone seemless. He went over all the associated costs and payment plans thoroughly allowing us to be able to make to right choices for our needs.
I was promised this great package deal that would end up being $160 a month after credits. Ended up being $355 a month! Had to cancel devices and have to pay the balance on the cost of devices. One of the devices was returned and they have no record of it and unfortunately I did not get a receipt to prove it. Go to Dartmouth, not this indirect store!
I too was duped here. They are VERY sneaky and as others have mentioned the story seems to constantly change. A $15/mo protection plan was added w/o my consent. I was setup to buy a phone only, ordered it and when I went to pick it up - I was informed I needed to upgrade my plan in order to qualify for what we had discussed about the trade-in for it. I was also given a $250 rebate that somehow was reversed a couple weeks later causing a late fee on my account. Looks like its time to call customer service - thanks for making this experience a giant pain!TLDR: DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Could not be more unhappy. Went in to get a new phone for my husband, we are older and not phone savvy. Rithy (Not Ricky, not Joel whose name is on our paperwork because he started the transaction), had us there for 2 and 1/2 hours. We got there at 7:30 and left at 10pm!!! One hour after it closed!! We lost pictures, data, because our two phone family plan used the same apple password. Our texts are mixed up. 10 minutes after he discovered this problem, we said forget it, just give us our old phones back. Rithy said we cannot, all trade in sales are final, even though they had just been turned off and they were sitting right there. It is not like our old phones could not work again because and the contract said they will be resold and it is not their fault if the phone was not erased and any of our information was still on it. We did not erase our phones as we did not know too and Rithy did not suggest it. So, there they were on his desk and he would not allow us to take them back. We are in our 60s and dont understand phones like young people do. I feel terribly mislead and taken advantage of. Also, he asked us to sign the paperwork on a little screen screen, barley 2 x 3 inches and I said this is a lot of stuff to read, he said nothing, just encouraged us to sign it with his signature please and thank you and he told us it was really our own fault our data transfer was incomplete because Apple wants you to turn your phones in every 2 years and our phones were old. I have been a customer of Verizon wireless since my first phone 25 years ago and I cannot believe they let this man represent their company.
Do yourself a favor and just buy directly from Verizon. The sales representatives here are nothing but con men. I am truly shocked that this place has any multi star reviews at all. Salesman spent at least 10 minutes trying to convince me that my monthly payments would actually be lower if I also bought a second device. Since that was utterly illogical, I kept pushing him to slow down and show me the facts. Finally caught on to his sleight of hand, and realized that he was straight up lying to me about how my monthly payments would be calculated. I confronted him about his blatant duplicity and he told me Numbers are numbers. Yes, numbers ARE numbers - and these guys will shamelessly lie to you about them in order to foist extra devices and sales onto you. If you insist on going here, then be exceedingly careful when they offer you additional promos or deals. They are very smooth about their deceitfulness - clearly, they have a lot of practice.
Cellular Sales takes in person quality communication and customer support to a new level. They truly understand that not everything can be solved online and that face to face support is King ! Went there because my phone was not working right Justin Braun gave me great service and walked me threw everything an really knew what he was doing had a bad experience 2 1/2 years ago told Justin about it and he said that guy doesnt work there anymore and was going to make it a quick and easy set up my phone and walk me threw everything and he did very professional and knew what he was doing and took the time to get me every discount I was eligible for best experience ever in a cell phone store if you need a new phone ask for Justin Braun you will not be disappointed he was outstanding
Beware This store is scam.I went this store in December to get new iphone 12. The guy told me that we have buy 1 get 1 so we ordered phone. I wait for month and call back to store to check status about phone. He told that we got your phone you can come to store. So i went to store to pickup phone and same guy was there. When we asked about buy 1 get 1 he was like we dont have that it will be different price. He ordered with BOGO and now he say BOGO not available. We asked for manager and he said everyone is manager in store . He don’t want us to talk to store manager . We left from store and went seekonk store for phone.I don’t recommend this store
THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL VERIZON STORE!This is a Cellular Sales store masquerading as a Verizon store. They are only contracted by Verizon to make sales. This is not a service-based store.The only actual Verizon store is the one at the Dartmouth Mall.Buyer Beware: I have been lied to several times, finally without being able to resolve issues at this store and learning from calling Verizon that this was not an actual Verizon store, I escalated the case to the Better Business Bureau. I have spent days of my time-off, many hours on the phone and thousands of dollars with this company. Examples: Cellular sales staff stated they would uphold Cyber Monday prices when they did not. I brought a phone with a cracked screen to them. Their salesman said it would cost me $200 to fix and I was better off getting a new phone, BUT they had a buy-back program going on, so a brand-new phone no monthly payments would only cost me $270. Then received my monthly bill only to find out they had charged me the price of a new $750 phone...it was too late at that point to return the phone. At the time I had also tried to open a new line with them (part of the Cyber-Monday new phone deal that they did not uphold). The new line was never set up properly despite numerous visits and calls to store. I was charged many months of service that I never received.I was finally contacted by the company only months later to learn they rejected my case, offering no refund/compensation and worse no apology.

Customer service was their goal and my 4 hour experience with the team was pleasant and ultimately successful. Pat the store manager was able to troubleshoot and help me get my new phone connected and functional. The team members were conversational and kind while I went through the process. My husband and I recently worked with Galen C. at the Verizon Authorized Retailer in Swansea.There was no pressure or stress, Galen asked about our wants and needs then provided us with options.He explained and demonstrated different phones and gave us a lot to think about.He spent a great deal of time and had so much patience with us. He repeatedly explained and demonstrated to be sure we were comfortable and understood navigating our way around the phone.We made a decision and returned the following day.Galen again went through the phones with us answering our questions and demonstrating. He did everything he possibly could for us including putting on the glass protection and linking the blue tooth.The customer service we received from Galen was exceptional. He went above and beyond to be sure we were adequately informed, satisfied and pleased with our experience.The Menards

I worked with Isaac at the Swansea location last night and was very pleasant. my husband and mom went in and was looking to switch services and he was very helpful and patient. he made us feel welcome and understood our situation, and what was going on helped us out big time and I would recommend him to everyone. We left there with all new phones and a great experience. Then Miguel came over and helped Isaac set up all 4 devices and showed us how to us them.

Given lots of false information to bait us into buying phones through there. Ended up costing us a lot of additional money and the store will do nothing about it. I would highly recommend you not to attend this store as they don’t care at all about the customers well being.

Extremely disappointed in this store. I am currently a T-Mobile customer and was thinking about coming over to Verizon. I called the store and I made an appointment with someone named Gion (sp?). I had asked if they were busy and he told me that he would stop helping other people at 4:45 so that he could be with me at 5. I arrive at 5 and there is one woman in front of me. Without asking either of our names or if we had an appointment, the open employee started helping her. I waited for 40 minutes while neither of the two employees even acknowledged my existence. One of the employees was also not wearing his mask (even though they are currently mandated by the state). I left the store and dont plan on coming back.
A few weeks ago I had called Verizon to get Information on switching phones. Brian was very helpful and spent his time making sure everything transferred correctly to my new phone. I never could have done this myself. He did all this for free!Im very thankful!!

Was greated with a warm welcome and was well taken care of by rep.. He did an outstanding job..I will be back to see him for any of my wireless needs going forward!
I have issues coming into retail stores like Verizon. I usually feel pushed or being sold to. Of course, thats their job. They need sales, but I, as a customer, despise that. I wish for simple answers to my questions, and I like to compare. I came in and was helped by Brandon. It was a very pleasant experience. He had answers to my questions. Helped me understand the differences between two phones. He was honest about the phones, funny, down to earth, and understanding.I gave 4 stars because I did not notice much of a display of phones. Also, I couldnt pick up the phones to feel it in my hand, feel the weight, play around. I really like to be able to get a feel for a cell but these were bound to the wall display.
Recently went to the store because ive purchased an iphone 8 plus and needed a screen protector, as i walked in i felt very welcomed and cared for by a young man he showed me all the differences between all of the screen protectors they had in stock and i went with a liquid screen protector and highly recommend it to the next customer and a big thank you to there staff.

Called to find out the cost to replace a battery on a galaxy s-7 edge I was told come on down it varies. Asked why and was told it depends on the battery. I told him I wanted a good one he said between $50 and $100 so I said that was a pretty big range could he give me a cost with a good battery and he couldnt just wanted me to come in to sell me another phone. Told me to call another store. I asked for the manager and he said he was. I will never step foot in that place again and if he was a manager with an attitude like that then the owner of that shop should terminate him as they are losing business. Instead of looking at your commission maybe you should look at making customers happy as a happy customer is a returning customer.
Terrible... just awful service. I didnt realize it was an Authorized Retailer before I went last time. From past experiences I always try to avoid those retailers... just go to the actual Verizon store. They wont try to screw you over and they are much more kind and helpful!In short-- Do not go here. Dont walk-- RUN in the other direction.

Last night my phone just died wouldnt even turn on it was 8:50pm so I drove right to Verizon in Swansea. I got there at 8:58pm, 2 minutes before they were suppose to close, but rather than turning me away Alex stayed there to help me. We were there until 10:30pm. I cant thank him enough for helping me out. Great customer service and a very happy customer because of him.

We went in to get new phones and use their BOGO deal that the store representative had told us about and have been charged full price for both phones. Weve gone back three times now and they still havent resolved the issue, saying its still under review. The service itself is also not as great as they say it is, AT&T was better in a lot or ways and way less hassle. Very disappointed we signed up with Verizon.

My phone was stolen. All my passwords were changed. Erin was able to very professionally and unbelievable kind restored my phone to normal including pictures when everyone told me it couldnt be possible. She even went above and beyond to change all my password set up my fit bit etc. Super enjoyable to work with! Definitely recommend this store.

I was in this store 2x this week and was assisted by Matt Silvia. Matt served my son earlier in the week when my sons phone broke and needed reacement. Later on the week he again served me, replacing my phone which had water damage. On both occasions Matt was professional, knowledgeable, kind and efficient. My son and I were able to replace our phones with ease, and felt we were getting the best deal for our money. Matt has a courteous demeanor and right amount of sense of humor to help us through the frustration of Inevitable phone issues. It is refreshing to go to a Verizon store and feel that I am getting the best, honest deal for services. I also had the pleasure of meeting Kyle, whom Matt called over to assist me with Google voice features. Kyle was great. I will recommend this store and both Matt and Kyle to my friends and will request them directly for all of my cell phone needs. GREAT job!
Some salespeople are truly awesome at their job and all around good people. And some of them are the complete opposite who only care about sales. Every time I go there I get a different experience. The last time I went I vowed to never return because they lead you their way. Whichever product their told to push that day. Id rather drive the extra ten minutes to go to the actual Verizon store in Seekonk where theyre not given incentive to push one certain product. Unfortunately I had to go their for a new phone because it was an emergency. This time they were great. Didnt push anything on me and they compared 2 models I told them I wanted. It really was exactly what you want when visiting a place like this. So its 50/50 when you go. You either get someone who cares or not. My advice, if you get a salesperson you like, keep their business card they give u after every transaction. That way, if you need to return youll always have a good experience.
I have just had a truly wonderful customer service experience with Bill at the Swansea location. I have been reluctant to upgrade my phone as I didnt want someone to sell me a phone, I wanted someone to listen to me and offer me options.Bill provided me with options while being both personable and professional. KUDOS to Bill for excellent product knowledge and superior customer service.

Service was great. The guy who helped us out was knowledgeable with the new phones we purchased. Was able to convert us quickly back to Verizon. Feel for the guy having to sit through roughly 45 minutes of Photo and video transfers from my wifes phone after he was already supposed to be home.

Recently switched from Sprint to Verizon had the pleasure of working with Cyrus. I would definitely visit him at this location if you’re interested in switching services or upgrades he’s the person to see.
The salesperson ordered a phone for me because they didnt have the one I wanted in stock. When it arrived, it was the wrong color. Fortunately, they had also gotten some phones in the color I wanted, and Shaun took care of me. He transferred the assignment to the correct color phone and set it up for me. He also helped me find a case that I like, and suggested a liquid screen protector (which Shaun applied for me) that I am really impressed with. So, although I was initially distressed, I left the store very happy.

Verizons business model seems to combine false advertising with normal cell coverage. They offer $40 for 5 Gigs of data on their advertising but charge another $20 for some fee. The cost of a phone is taxed on any phone deal when you leave adding another $99 or so - While Straightalk offers about 50 Gigs of data for $55 and no other fees. T-Mobile offers superior coverage and the cost of the data is upfront. Look, theres good people everywhere and so are the employees of Verizon. But Verizon will also ping your credit report. I would highly advise checking other options than Verizon. A very unethical company.

After receiving my first bill, I was shocked to see insurance was added on without my permission. I also was charged an activation fee in store and then again on my first bill? This will be the last time I buy from Verizon. Looking into AT&T

I’d like to take an opportunity to praise Jim Tellier’s work at the Swansea Verizon store. He took a phone call from me earlier in the week when I called, very upset, with charges on my bill that I questioned. He listened patiently to me and suggested I visit the store in person so he could get into my account and attempt to rectify the issue. In spite of my arguments against making a trip to the store, he left the conversation letting me know his schedule and saying he was looking forward to seeing me. Five days later, I went to the store to meet with him and, honestly, I did not hold out much hope for a resolution in my favor. With very little prompting he remembered my dilemma. He spent the next 2 hours researching what could be done to ensure a retroactive refund and total elimation of another large fee I was facing. I was not there to buy anything but to seek a full refund from Verizon —-yet he treated me as with all the care and understanding of someone who might have been buying the whole store. He spent a couple hours on the phone with customer service while simultaneously ( while on hold) addressing a virus on my phone and directing store calls to other reps. In the end, all charges against my tablet were deleted from my bill even though the problem was not created by Verizon but essentially was due to my own misunderstanding of the device charges. Jim Tellier is a superior employee, extremely patient, knowledgeable and personable. I have been to other Verizon stores in the past to inquire about a product or two and was pushed to make a purchase or left without a solution to issues with my phone. Along with the other representatives I witnessed at the Swansea store, Jim offered an exceptional experience that I will remember and plan to share with my friends and family. Verizon is very lucky to have him as sales rep and I hope he is soon offered a raise for his extraordinary efforts to satisfy Verizon customers. Meeting him was a complete pleasure! I’ll be back to Swansea for my next upgrade!
