Went to the Ice Cream Barn for the first time this past Monday. I had the apple crisp in the waffle cone and it was fantastic! Love the smell of the fresh waffle cones baking. Enjoyed the view of the country setting outside as a I ate my cone. I will definitely be back to try more flavors. I also appreciate that they stay open until December.

Wonderful. Homemade ice cream. They make their own waffle cones right there in the shop. It was my first time there and what a hard time I had choosing from their menu.Loved it. Next time Im in town I will definitely be heading that way to try something new.

I kept hearing about the ice cream barn so we took a drive over for a late night treat. Portions are generous and the ice cream really is phenomenal. My fiance got the coffee milk flavor and it was so incredibly creamy. I got chocolate brownie oreo and it was decadent and hit the spot. The team was friendly and the prices are reasonable. Well definitely be back again.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the wonderful smell of fresh waffle cones being made right at the front in waffle irons. The icecream here is deliciously rich and creamy, the perfect treat for any occasion. They also sell hand packed Pints and Quarts of any of their flavors

Very creamy ice cream with lots of varieties of flavors that you dont see any where else. They also have nice outdoor grassy open space you can enjoy the ice cream at.

Their ice cream is so freaking good! If you are a grapenut pudding fan, try their ice cream version. Delicious 😋

MY FAVORITE ICE CREAM IN NEW ENGLAND!! You have to try the black raspberry berry and the chocolate brownie Oreo, absolutely iconic. Plus the waffle cones are delectable😋 be sure to tell them it’s your birthday!!

Have a favorite flavor of ice cream? Wanna try it as a milkshake/malt instead of on a cone, or in a bowl? This is the place for you. They dont have any sherbet flavors, but they still have a wide selection of flavors, diary and non diary alike. You can take these flavors and have them turn it into a shake or malt instead. More of a sundae lover? They got your topping, drizzles and how! But, dont take my word for it, come give it a try.

Great ice cream. Better service. The line was about 50 people deep when we arrived, but we had ice cream in hand in 12 minutes. It was remarkable to see how efficient their system was to get orders out.We ordered smalls which was anything but. Next time we will opt for the kiddie size as that would be plenty.

Rating is closer to 4.5 for me. Though the number of flavors are not as extravagant as some of the other places, it tastes great. Their waffle cone smells great and is crunchy. The ice cream is not too sweet but still tastes great. Good parking area available at the barn.

The Green Tea and Honeycomb frozen yogurt is *PERFECTION*! My husband and I have been wanting to try this place and yesterday he stopped in on his way home. Ever since I read about this place and checked out their offerings I was intrigued by the Green Tea and Honeycomb frozen yogurt and knew that I would have to try it. It was everything I had hoped for and more! PLEASE, don’t ever discontinue this flavor! This could easily become an addiction. SO good! My husband got the Black Raspberry frozen yogurt and it too was really, really good. I really feel that living in Swansea, Ma, we are lucky that we do have a few excellent options in local ice cream sources, all of which are comparable in cost and that special small town quality, but I have to say that The Ice Cream Barn easily stands out above the rest with respect to unique flavor options. This is something we look for, but seldom find, so, BIG kudos for that! Beyond that, this place rates great for quality, cleanliness, and friendliness. I am seeing some people commenting on the cost, but we find that they are right in line with the other local ice cream establishments. For what you get, it is easily worth what you pay. Yesterday was our first experience here, but it will definitely not be the last! I need more Green Tea and Honeycomb frozen yogurt in my life - and we can’t wait to try the more mainstream selections as well. All around awesome experience! Highly recommend!

Great staff and large amount of ice cream and toppings. Definitely worth the price. Great out door seating but limited. Nice view of the sunset and moon if you go towards the evening....But I would go for somerset creamery instead and the ice cream barn staff and sunset.

What can I say? Its the best. My wife and I go to get ice cream where ever we can. In this case, we were visiting family in Rhode Island from NYC. So far, I will give the Ice Cream Barn my top spot of all time for the following reasons: (1) The ice cream is rich. (2) The non-dairy ice cream is also really excellent. (3) The portions are seriously nuts...its bigger than a babys head for a large. (4) The prices are reasonable.

Got the cookies n’ cream. Flavorful and not over the top sweet, so good! Lots of parking, and wait time wasn’t that bad despite a long line. One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back.

In my experience, I have tried dozens of ice cream which claims to be the most delicious. However, there can only be one, and I believe that position belongs to the ice cream barn. Its truly unlike anything you can imagine. Light, fluffly, and delicious, there is nothing better.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Though there was a lot of people they were patient while we chose what we wanted. Ice cream was really creamy and flavorful. The portion size was large. I will go back it was yummy.

Ice cream is good. Just dont think you can beat the line, and order online. They dont like online orders. They will scoop your ice cream, and leave it to melt on the counter, while you wait outside. Then, after they go over your order dont be afraid to insult them by checking the bag. They probably missed something.

First time here and it was so yummy. We will be back.

Cant go wrong with any decision at the Ice Cream Barn (especially Banana Peanut Butter Cup or Kahlua Brownie), Everything is delicious! We missed going frequently last year due to the Covid-19 restrictions. So very glad they have pushed through, made some precautionary provisions and even some nice upgrades! A Big Thank You to Everyone there!

Place was packed. Line was out the door, but everyone was served in a timely manner. Ice cream in the waffle cone is excellent. Plenty of parking. One scoop of ice cream is hugh. Very satisfying.

The Ice Cream Barn has terrific flavors of ice cream. My personal favorite would be the Kailua Brownie, its absolutely delicious. I usually buy their ice cream by the quart which can run around $35.00. Alittle pricey but very good ice cream.

The. Best. Ice cream. Ever.Rich and creamy. Delicious variety of flavors. The portions are huge. Order something smaller than you think you want. Or - order a pint to take home! You won’t regret it.They have a great setup for social distancing as well, taking orders as you drive through. You must try the Cinnamon ice cream - it’s like the leftover milk in a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch 😍In the summer it’s especially nice to hang out in your car with the windows down and enjoy the field of cows across the street.In normal times, there are a few benches (usually a bit ice cream splattered) but not much else in terms of seating. But there is a lot of lush lawn, and a picnic blanket wouldn’t be a bad call. Most people eat in their cars or while standing around.

My only complaint about ice cream barn: the ice cream is so good it ruined all other ice cream shops for me bc they can never be as good. Peanutbutter heath bar is my go to when its on the menu and their strawberry and coffee oreo are in my top 3. This place is the best.
