I booked an appointment at sycamore dodge when all the other dealers in the area were at least 2 or 3 weeks out. They got me in within a day. I was in to have an aftermarket trailer brake controller looked at. They diagnosed it and figured out the wiring harness I bought came wired incorrectly. Fixed the problem and I’m a happy camper. I highly recommend!

Drove around an hour to this dealership to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They were one of the few dealerships that had the make and model in stock. I called to ask if the GC had a deposit and if it was on the lot. The man over the phone assured me it was there. He even went above and beyond took photos and sent them via text message. I walked in and was greeted promptly by their sales person Shane. I told th Shane I didn’t want to test drive the GC I had already driven many. I did not receive any pushback which I greatly appreciate. I was very straightforward with them no sales games or tactics. They manager and sales person we friendly and listened to my needs. Had an issue with the service center. I had an appointment to have a recall issue serviced. A few day earlier my check engine light came on. I went to Oreillys and checked the code. I told the service tech the code when he called to make an appointment for my recall issue. I asked him to check if it was covered under my lifetime service contract. They called me the next day and said it was the catalytic converter and it was not covered by was service contract. They wanted $1855 to replace the converter. About 3 times what it should cost. I told them I was declining the service, I was then told i needed to service my 4x4. I had that service done 2 months ago. I was also told I would be charged $70 for scanning the vehicle. I had already scanned the vehicle and just wanted to know if the issue was covered by was service contract. Beware of their service department.

Alberto and Manny were awesome. I was able to trade in my old car( for $200) less than I owed and they got me a great rate that was 10 percent lower than my old loan.They listened to what I wanted. Terrible experience.Salesman and myself agreed on a price before tax, title doc fees. Upon sitting down with the finance manager the paperwork has the vehicle listed $399 more than agreed when I ask about this I was told it was for processing the loan and filing all the paperwork and it is added to the vehicle because there is no line with the other fee to add it to. This was my first New car buying experience and I took them at thier word.Looking into this later that line is complete BS. Illinois has a cap on Doc fees which I was charged for on top of the extra $399. It was a blatant and bold attempt to break the law by hiding extra charges in the contract.Then they got the Vin # wrong on all the paperwork. Honest mistake on thier part. Honest mistake that was rectified by forcing me to drive there to fix it. I live a hour away.With the new contract I called out the $399. Clearly busted they removed it with no fight. Claiming I misunderstood and it was for the safety inspection they have to preform on all brand new vehicle. Thanks for the gaslight attempt!While I didnt end up having to pay the bogus charge how many people have they hoodwinked before me with this clearly practiced and thought out con?

Ill start this five-star review by saying this is absolutely not about my 2018 Jeep Compass. I would highly recommend anybody looking at a Jeep Compass to buy any other vehicle. Ive had nothing but issues with mine and it has less than 40,000 MI and I bought it less than 4 months ago.With that said, I walked into Brian Bemis Jeep today very hot about the continued issues with my jeep. I did not buy it at this dealership, in fact I had never even stepped foot in this place. After illustrating my frustration to the service department and one of the sales people, Paul McSkimming, the GM of sales promptly dropped literally everything to take care of my issues. I believe he was in the middle of a few things to be honest, but he took care of me like gold. Not only did he accompany me to the service department, he went on a ride in my vehicle so that he knew exactly what was wrong with the car. He walked me through everything with service and all the steps I will be needing to take to get my car fixed by Jeep corporate. Ill also give a special mention to Alex in the service department, he knew I was frustrated and he was also very busy, and he kept his cool even when I didnt. This is a much better experience than what I had at Ken Nelson Auto in Dixon, where I bought the car. I wont be bringing my Jeep in for service anywhere else but here. I just wish I could give Paul more business when I buy my next car. Unfortunately I will likely never buy any Mopar product again. However, for Paul to turn such a bad car experience into a five-star rating is beyond impressive!

After finally getting the situation figured out, I’m leaving a review with my experience here. On December 31st, 2020 I came into the dealership to test drive a used Ram Rebel I had found online.Now this is not the part of my visit that I’m upset with. The salesman Jerry was very nice, knowledgeable on the truck, and just overall an awesome Salesman. The sales manager, Cj, was also very kind and helpful through the purchase of my truck.After the test drive I decided to purchase the truck which I financed. This is where my problems started. When we sat down to sign the paperwork I was already feeling guilty for being there late on a Friday, let alone New Years Eve. I will admit part my fault. When we sat down, the finance person (forgot his name) told me they were giving me an additional warranty on the truck. My girlfriend asked what I had to pay for it, and the finance person told us it cost nothing extra and that they were giving it to us. I was ecstatic about the deal and we continued.Fast forward 2 weeks when the loan amount came through to my phone. I noticed the amount was a lot higher than expected. When I went back to look through the paperwork is when I saw they didn’t give me the extended warranty. They charged me $4000 for this.Now the biggest joke to me is that Mopar offers the same exact warranty, for half the price.That day I called and spoke to the finance manager, Jose. I asked for a return and he said he would get it to me. I thought that was it. 2 more weeks go by and I get nothing. I call the dealership multiple times but Jose is never in. He’s at the other dealership. Finally I get a return call and Jose tells me that he filed the return and he did not know how I would get the return back, but assured me I would get it. Another week goes by and still nothing. I called the dealership 4 days in a row and never get to speak to him, leaving messages with others to call me. I contact the dealership through Facebook and I get a call back from the sales manager, Cj, the next day. He apologizes for the issues and tells me he will email me the confirmation. I get the confirmation and see it is dated for that day, February 5th. Meaning that Jose never even started the return process. I also get told I will have to eat the $50 return charge. So I got a return of $3950.Finally on February 15th I got the credit back to my account. 2.5 months later. So in the end I have to eat the $50 for the return, along with pay the interest on the loan for the extra $4k that was tacked on. It’s a shame that such a good experience turned into one of THE WORST I have ever had with a dealership. It just goes to show, all dealerships are the same.

Went in for service on my Ram Truck, 1st impression was great. I have been to other dealerships and this was the only one I didnt sit in a long line waiting to check in my vehicle. Probably a perk of being in a smaller city as compared to the very busy suburbs of Chicago. The service staff is very nice and were always in contact about what was going on. One thing that was very unexpected was that they had washed my truck when I came to pick it up. Never have I had a shop take the extra time and wash my truck. Great service for oil change/tire rotation. While I was there they informed me of a computer update which they were able to do while I waited. Video of the technician checking over the vehicle was awesome as he shows you the fluids and other ares of the vehicle that he inspected. Great use of technology as it was sent to my phone while I was waiting!

Hi had an amazing experience with this dealer. I got into a car accident a couple of days ago and the next day I went into this shop hoping to quickly find a car and I did.
