There are no words to explain how wonderful this place is. My son just moved out and is a distance away from me. He needed immediate work done to his car and I randomly called this place. Not only did he get his car in right away and fixed the issue, he explained everything and gave honest feedback. We are taking the car back so he can do an inspection and see what we can do to keep the car as long as possible. The owner is so amazing and went above and beyond to help a mother feel comfort from afar. I not only recommend this business, but I would only go here from now on. ONLY GO HERE!!! Professional work, after explaining and showing us how and where our catalytic converters were stolen. Jerry and his crew did some fantastic work on my truck and my girlfriends cr-v. Even though this theft unfortunately happened to us I am still grateful that I got to meet Jerry and have that work done, because my truck has never sounded this great. Jerry also diagnosed another issue my truck is having and I will more than likely come back for more work. I still feel bad that at times I couldn’t get to my phone when Jerry was calling but he was understanding and polite. Well done Edge Automotive!

I was in town from 200 miles away trying to help a brother who is in a transition care unit. His old minivan was experiencing problems that I was charged with sorting. A cousin told me to call Edge Automotive. From the first call, Jerry made me certain I was talking to the right people. They asked me to leave the van while I was in town so they could do some diagnostic testing wherever they found extra time. In the end they helped me and my brother embrace the reality concerning his van. This tired old van simply was NOT worth the investment of the significant finances that would have been involved to make it safely roadworthy. Instead of selling me on costly repairative services they simply completed an oil change (it was low and very dirty) and topped off other fluids so that the van could be used in the coming weeks while a search is conducted for an alternative vehicle. One things for sure, Ill make sure my brother knows that he needs to return to Edge Automotive with his new vehicle so that Jerry and his team can help him in a trustworthy, quality fashion. We’ve been going to Edge since we moved to the area in 2013. They have been great to work with. They get our cars in quickly and stick to their schedule. The couple times they found some discovery work, they were quick to notify us and communicate impact to both cost and schedule and get our approval before proceeding. They provide a realistic estimate before starting any work and talk you thru each item. Most times they won’t know what all is required until they get in there. On several occasions we had the final bill come in less than the estimate because they didn’t have to do everything they originally thought. They had our approval, could have proceeded with the work anyways and charged us and we’d be none the wiser...but that’s not how they operate. It’s always hard finding a good mechanic that does quality work, treats you with respect (doesn’t talk down to you), and doesn’t try to take advantage of you. This is what we experienced with Edge. It’s a locally owned business operated by a great family. I highly recommend them.

These guys are the most honest and hardworking mechanics I have ever met. They have done a lot of work for me over the years and did their best to save me money when they could and give me a heads up with upcoming repairs so I could plan for them instead of having them dumped on me as a surprise. Jerry Dunne is a real man of integrity. Most mechanics will rip you off and not bat an eye, Jerry saved us over $700 by testing the water pump instead of just saying it was bad. My son went to mechanics school for a while, he said they teach you to charge for things tthat arent wrong, but I am grateful to God for giving me an honest brother in Christ as a mechanic. I think this place was extremely fair on the price and suggestions they gave me. Because Im a girl, most car places I go to love to try and take advantage of me and jack up the price, and I do not think this place did that at all. Ive been to several different places to have work done on my vehicles. The first time i had my van worked on at Edge Automotive is the last time ive had to search for a great mechanic. Edge Automotive is the only place i will take my vehicles to now because there honest✔...friendly/outstanding customer service ✔... they do great work ✔... I live out of town, but was interested in purchasing a car from a dealer in Sylvania. I called Edge Automotive and asked Jerry if he would inspect the car I was considering. For a very fair price they did a thorough test drive and then a deep inspection of the car. I had pointed out a few things I had read online, and they made sure to specifically look at those concerns. They found a few annoying things about the car that they pointed out to me. They were really good about giving me unbiased information, without telling me what to do about it, so that I could make my own decision without being influenced.I was able to then talk to the dealer, who acknowledged that the issues did exist. I believe that I would have been very annoyed and disappointed in the items of concern that Jerry pointed out if I bought and drove the car, so I chose not to purchase the car based on the information Edge provided. I could have flown half-way across to buy the car, only to discover these things on my own, and then be basically stranded without a new car and no flight home. Instead, Jerry and his team discovered this for me, saving me time, money and hassle.I highly recommend that anyone purchasing a used car - or a new car if you are from out of town - in the Sylvania area hire Edge Automotive to check the car out. They will either confirm that it is a great buy, or could warn you of things to be concerned about.

Edge Automotive is simply the best. They do work for my place of employment and I decided to schedule an appointment for my personal vehicle. Ive owned the car for over a year now and it had many things that were acting up. They do a full inspection of your vehicle for no cost if you get an oil change. After they are done they give you a call and give you the load down on your vehicle. I decided to fix most of the stuff that was listed and Im very glad I did. The car is running like new and I will not hesitate to trust the advice of Jerry. I had some old quotes from the previous owner that Midas did. Every item (ABS, Sway Bar, Pulley,) was at double what Edge did it for me. Cant beat an honest place these days and youll get that if you take your car to Edge!
