There is a wider variety of options here and they seem to use more than just white flour if thats something you want to try. Its very homey and offers indoor and outdoor dining.

Great sandwiches quiches salads bread and baked goods! We went to lunch here with friends and really enjoyed it. The barriers between the tables were unique and we were able to slide them open and closed. Highly recommend this restaurant and will return.

After a long drive to a medical appointment, we were looking for a bit of good comfort food and found Earth to Oven - Cafe and Bakery on 5758 Main Street in Sylvania, Ohio.Unfortunately, while transferring from his wheelchair, my husband fell to the floor and along with him, his flustered, apologetic wife. The staff were amazingly calm, kind and helpful. Bob was checked over and expertly repositioned by the server (who we learned is also a nursing student.)Unhurt, we took a seat at an out of the way table and ordered. The chili with cornbread and tomato spinach quiche served in bright colorful stoneware provided warm goodness and comfort. Likewise, the very kind boss and server calmed our embarrassment by checking back frequently and made us feel comfortable and well cared for. And then... they wouldnt let us pay for our meal.Are you in need of some genuine goodness and comfort today? Want to help us pay it forward? I like this place! The food and service is excellent. I love the macaroni salad and my fav sandwich is the PRESCOTT:House-made pimento cheese spread, lettuce, chicken salad, and caramelized bacon served on Zingerman’s toasted sourdough bread! I thought it would taste weird but I love it!

It is a lovely place, and the food looks good. I will give another try in the future, The attendant was doing the best, but was almost alone, I have to ask for my coffee, 2x, and I went to pick at the front, since the coffee was ready probably by the time I ordered, was cold, and she hand me anyway:(

We came on Saturday to have brunch the food was delicious and wesat outside on the your porch on a beautiful day. You have a Great menuand the cold lattes were amazing. We will be back!

What a lovely place! I’m In town bringing my son to college and I took a walk and stumbled onto this sweet little cafe. The candies bacon and chicken salad - perfection. Best food I’ve had in Ohio! The coffee is also wonderful and they had almond milk. Highly recommend!

Excellent sandwich, will try again, kind of pricey, but understand that goes with quality. $30 for 2 sandwiches 2 pops

Stopped by just before opening to place an order for a family gathering the next day. The person behind the counter said rather snippy, Well, we dont open for ten minutes. Out the door I went and never to return.

Ordered a custom made pie. It was freshly-made from fresh berries. Delicious! I highly recommend them and will return for more tasty treats.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. The new owners are not being honest with the public about who they are, what they have done to the original owner and starter of Earth to Oven (Veronica), and their actual standards for the products that they are trying to sell you.Save yourself a trip and the trouble and find a local place that appreciates you and cares about what they are serving you. You WILL do better.

Stopped in for lunch and had the BLT with the pepper soup. Both the sandwich and soup were delicious. The service was also fast and the workers were very friendly. Highly recommended, will be back.

Nestled in the bosom of lovely quiet downtown sylvania, this small local bakery has a small specific menu with weekly changes and vegan/vegetarian options. Homey and very kind welcoming staff make this a great spot for a private lunch or sunday outing.
