They have really good bagels at reasonable prices. We got two sandwiches on our first visit. The Ol’ Faithful and Buffalo, both were great! I would definitely recommend this establishment if you’re in the mood for a bagel.

I like to check out local bagel shops when I travel. Dewitt Bagel Co. is at the top of my list now. The service was friendly and inviting starting with being greeted as I walked in the door. The bagel was delicious. I ordered an Asiago bagel toasted dark with jalapeño cream cheese. They came through for me, especially on the toasting of the bagel, not everywhere does that. They are a win in my book and I will visit next time I’m in town.

Whenever I’m in town I stop here to pick up breakfast. They have delicious, gluten free, everything bagels, yum!! The staff is very friendly. You can call in an order and pick it up, definitely a good option when they’re busy in the morning.

Stopped at DeWitt bagel company for a quick breakfast before meeting with my sellers to list their house. Coffee was delicious and honestly it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had. Place was clean, staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Highly reccomend

I enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese this am from Dewitt Bagel company. When they were out of a specific bagel, we waited only 6 minutes for a fresh one to be baked and grabbed a few to take home. The bagels are more crisp on the outside than a typical bagel. There was also a small area to sit and they served Recess coffee. Unfortunately, the only kind they had this am was dark roast and decaffeinated. I would have enjoyed a light blend.

Very friendly, tried an Asiago bagel with Buffalo Bleu cream cheese. This was so good honestly if you added some shredded chicken it could of tasted just like a chicken wing dip salad spread. I was very impressed.

Quality of ingredients is top knotch this place has become my go to for breakfast food but.... If you order on Sunday your food is going to be all over the place. Bagel not toasted, wrong ingredients, missed upgrades. Not sure if its due to a specific employee or just how slammed they get but its been a repeated problem which really sucks because other than that small issue its my favorite place to eat local. I really hope they can resolve that issue or its isolated to just me. Try the jalapeño cream cheese and local bacon upgrades if you get a chance they are next level!

The bagels were delicious and my bag even had a nice hand written note. Love supporting small local business, this one is definitely worth it!

I come here probably at least 1x a week. The staff is great, courteous and very helpful. Prices are awesome, and generally the sandwiches are delicious (not everyone likes cream cheese, and thats fine).

I usually pick up bagels and toast at home but I needed something to eat this morning and got a toasted bagel. HOLY BANANAS! whatever toaster you have made the perfect toasted bagel!

The bagels here are absolutely delicious! I took a chance and got the lox cream cheese on my second bagel and was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast sandwiches are also a must have for early morning. The establishment is a lovely place to walk into ona weekend morning, you can never go wrong with subway tile and local pictures.Id take a star off for parking, but they cant control that and people who do that are stupid.If a bagel joint in DeWitt ever earned the moniker of the long defunct DeWitt Bagelry, its the Dewitt Bagel Company.

This was a very poor experience. Waited for 45 minutes for a bagel. Kept taking Grubhub orders and were very unorganized. Chaotic - will not return. Poor customer service.

My boyfriend and I came in on a weekend maybe 5 or 10 minutes after opening, we were en route somewhere very early and wanting bagels. We had never been here before and it was exciting to find a place nearby that wasn’t a chain. There were two customers in front of us who were being treated very nicely with great customer service. For some reason that warmth changed when it was our turn to order and it felt like us being there was an inconvenience. The two employees seemed annoyed? My boyfriend got the Jersey Boy and absolutely loved it- Taylor ham/pork rolls are rare up here. I got an egg and cheese on a bagel and really enjoyed it, I wish I had known to order it with two eggs because it was on the thin side but nevertheless still really tasty! I wish I could give this 4 or 5 stars because we did really like the food but were very turned off by the service we got. Maybe we’ll try coming later than 7.

Best vegan cream cheese I’ve ever had.

I’m so surprised at all these 5 star reviews. I really wanted to like this place. (Remember the old Dewitt Bagels? Yum!) Unfortunately the half dozen bagels I took home were really bland and bread-like. I couldn’t even cut through them without them completely collapsing, but they weren’t still warm. I guess maybe if I’d ordered a sandwich like most of the other reviewers the quality of the bagel may have been less important. Really disappointing. Two stars for nice staff, though.

Decided to check this place out since it’s one of the few locally owned bagel places in the area, and it didn’t disappoint! I had the Lox bagel and it was the right size and full of flavor, plus the employees were attentive and helpful. Would be back again!

Definitely worthwhile. Maybe a 4 star if I went earlier or knew anything about their menu before hand. They serve Recess coffee so thats a plus. The ingredients, including the eggs, are all fresh and you have the option of locally sourced pork products which I totally endorse. All and all it is worth a second trip for me and a first trip for you if you havent been. Nice change from the corporate face of Brueggers.

This is one of my favorite bagel places.The quality of food is really good they have amazing local bacon I always get the energy bagel with cream cheese egg and Local bacon.My favorite part about this place is that they support local farmers and the food taste always fresh. Also inexpensive for the great quality they offer.

Being new to the area (from downstate), one of the most important things to me was to find a halfway decent bagel place.The moment I walked into DBC I knew I had found my new spot. Being greeted by the warm and friendly staff (and Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance w Somebody”) made me instantly feel at home.And the Bagels! By god, they rival some of the best in Brooklyn. Every time I’ve been there I’ve tried something new and every time my order was made quickly and each bagel I’ve tried (lox and cream cheese, BEC, everything w CC) was amazing.Pro tip: spring for the local bacon, it’s worth the extra dollar!

Living in CNY and having access to Taylor Ham (typically exclusive to NJ) makes this my absolute go-to bagel place. The bagels were also very fresh and tasty. GO HERE!

I got an egg and sausage on a garlic bagel. It was good, the local sausage is very flavorful. As a personal preference, I like b-fast sandwich bagels toasted. It was warm, but I prefer them nice and toasty.

Best bagels in Syracuse with an amazing selection.

Got a nova lox sandwich and a few bagels to go today. Bagels were warm and fresh, sandwich was delicious. Both ladies working inside were super nice and enthusiastic. Shop is doing a great job to ensure customer and employee safety! Will be back soon!

This was my 2nd visit there. The 1st time I got a bagel with cream cheese. Not bad, I would probably get it again. Today I got a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. The sausage was so dry and rubbery. I was expecting something better since it was expensive.

Ok as long as they arent busy...and since they dont carry drink carriers dont order more than 2 drinks

I am from nyc and have been searching for a good bagel place since moving to central ny. I came here to try this place out and was hopeful because it seemed like it was not a chain. I ordered a bagel with lox spread. It is pretty rare for me to write a review but the food actually made me sick because the lox was actually rancid. When I bit into I could taste and smell the fish was putrid and I threw up. It also seemed that they did not actually have lox spread. It was regular cream cheese with a few bits of lox in it that went bad. The bagels were also not authentic bagels at all. Better off with some toast.

I have gone to this place a bunch of times now. Was hoping my poor experiences were one offs, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Lets be clear, the food is pretty solid. But it is overpriced. A breakfast sandwich with two eggs and a hashbrown is almost $10.00. Also the wait is awful, dont go in person. Call or order online. I have not gotten out of there in under 15 minutes ever, from time order is placed to when my name is called. That doesnt even count waiting in line. Today there were two people ahead of me when I ordered, and no one else in the store. The first guy got a dozen bagels and left, the second guy got two sandwiches. From the time I ordered (time on receipt) and got my name called, it was 22 minutes. Again, not counting time waiting in line. Seems like they prioritize phone/online orders. Also, every time I ask that they dont cut my sandwich in half because it is easier for me to eat that way. No matter how I ask or stress it, they still cut in half. They give a sheepish apology about how its habit, if I get an apology at all. Even though it is written on the order slip. Today the woman just laughed and told her employee she cut in half not him, did not even say sorry. Seems stupid and small but my hands arent great and makes it hard for me to eat. Place is very popular it seems and has recess coffee which people seem to love.
