D&S by far has the best auto care I’ve come across. They identified my problem and repaired it in a timely manner. I was updated every step of the way. I will most definitely be using them for all of my automotive needs. They truly are worth checking out.

I took my 2011 ML350 in to have the steering rack replaced. I was a little bit nervous as this was my first time not going to dealership or a place that specializes in German cars. Its been a couple months since the work was performed an I have had zero issues. They know how to work on German cars, and they also helped me fix another issue with one of my speed sensors as well. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their price was much better than the other quotes I received as well. I dont say this often, but I trust these guys and will be going there for all my auto repairs from now on.

These guys are amazing. My wife and I bought a car in Seattle but we live in Hawaii and in order for our insurance to fully cover us they needed a letter from a licensed mechanic to confirm the vehicle was roadworthy. We were on a very tight time frame because we flew in late the night before and got the car the next day which was the last workday of the week. We had to be on the road to the shipper the next day. David was extremely helpful right from the first phone call we made to the shop and he managed to squeeze us in within hours. All the guys in the shop were very friendly and easy to work with. They took us into the shop and took the time to go over the whole car after the inspection to show us what was in great shape and what may need attention. This was very helpful because we knew next to nothing about the car. They were very transparent and honest and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their prices were more than fair and the job was done quickly and thoroughly which got us on our way fast with all the paperwork we needed. The car is very low as its a sports car and they took extra care to make sure the vehicle wasnt damaged getting it onto the hoist. I wish we hadnt been on such a time crunch so we couldve given them more business. If youre looking for a shop that doesnt operate the way all the rest do and who is honest, friendly and helpful then I highly recommend D&S Autocare. The service was truly amazing. I called at the last minute early in the morning to get a quote on a wheel bearing issue that Id had for quite some time. Not only did he get me in that morning, but they gave me the best deal on the work I needed done and actually saved me money . The service was professional, friendly and fast. Dave has literally saved me close to $1,100 in auto repairs. I was first told by Titus-Will Ford that changing my water pump and timing chain wouldve cost me close to $2,900. Dave saved me close to $700. I then needed my drivers seat fixed after it got stuck in the recline position. There, he saved me over $400 because Titus-Will...Tadaaaaa!...quoted me $400 sum. Not only did Dave save me that much, he is also honest. Titus-Will tried to use their typical scare tactics by saying that my transfer case was leaking. Honest Dave? Ah, yeah, theres some build up of oil but there wasnt even enough to create a leak. I dont know why theres isnt a clamor of customers going to D & S Autocare. Dave and his crew will never really know how much they helped me out. Ive been spreading the word about them to everyone I know. For real legit place. The best auto repair shop Ive ever encountered. I have been doing business with D&S since they were located on Gravelly Lake Drive. Quite a while. Never have I felt uncomfortable with their suggestions nor have I ever had the sense that they were trying to pull a fast one on me. They just dont do that.I highly recommend Dave and his crew!

If you ever need anything done mechanically to your vehicle, Id recommend d and s auto in Lakewood off Bridgeport between 100th and 108th across from sunny teriyaki. They are hard workers, timely, honest, upfront, very reasonably priced, etc. I wouldnt even give another shop a first thought. Weve been going there for 5 years and well keep going there when needed.

These guys are honest, quick, and great at what they do. Im always apprehensive to take my vehicles to a mechanic, but Ive taken two of my cars here on the recommendation of my family and D&S has really won me over. They keep me updated on the repair process, send me reports with pictures, and give me honest feedback. The prices are fair and they wont blow smoke.

General 6 month overview/checkup

I only been in Washington a year due to my work but right before driving to Texas I went to see Dave so he can look at my brakes. He charged me only $ 60 cleaned and lubes my brakes. He waived the inspection saving me $35.00 such a great place they take care of your car and wallet highly recommended. This mechanics do NOT try anything to rip you off.

D and S has all my repair business for 5 family cars, and 4 work vehicles. They helped my Lexus get to half a million miles! Trustworthy, and they stand behind their work. I like working with honest people. I highly recommend them for repair work and general maintenance.

I have known the Runkel family for many years when the first Autolube that they had was on Gravelly Lake Drive.They are very caring people, have great employees, a passion for helping others and their service is exceptional.Last Saturday in the pouring rain, my windshield wipers began to operate very slowly, to the point where it was difficult to see. I was able to get my car to Autolube at around 4:30 p.m.Customers were waiting for their vehicles and all of the technicians were busy, but Kris, the Service Adviser, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, pulled the old part off of my vehicle and put the new one on and I was on my way.If it wasnt for Kris and his outstanding work ethic, attitude and compassion for others, my car could have easily sat there until Monday morning leaving me stranded.

I love these guys! I have been using them for basic car maintenance since they had the shop on Gravelly Lake Drive. They are honest, good at what they do, and they will not try to up sell you on something that you do not need. I used to cringe when I would need to get my oil changed because I hate telling people no and its as if the dealerships would see me coming! I dont have to worry about that with Auto Lube. I take a book to sit back in their lobby and read while the car is being worked on but, honestly, I rarely get to the book because by the time I have said my hellos to the folks in the office and sat down, my car is done! They answer your questions without making you feel like someone that knows nothing about cars. I have referred everyone I know to these guys for services. Exceptional shop!

I highly recommend Dave and his staff. Dave worked on my 94 Ford van and got it reassembled after another mechanic botched the job. The previous mechanic had my van for 14 months. he only needed to replace my oil pan and gasket, intake manifold gasket, exhaust manifold gaskets, and do a tune up. After 14 months, my van was still in pieces and needed to be towed.I towed my van to Daves shop where he set his crew to work finding out what needed to be done and got it done.Dave was willing to work with me and get things done that needed to be done without any BS. He cuts through the crap so that you know the real issues that need to be taken care of.I have lots more work that needs to be done and I definitely will be taking my van back so Dave and his staff can do more high quality work.

Set an appointment for me at 10am on Memorial Day. I showed up and was waiting for 15 minutes. Kept calling the place and no one was answering. Dont set an appointment if you guys are going to be closed. I couldve gone somewhere else to get my car serviced and not waste my time.

Fixed my car right the first time!

I was at the beginning of a thousand mile journey from Seattle to my home in Lodi, CA, when my care began to make a horrible noise in Lakewood, WA. Imagine my thoughts! Hours of time spent trying to find a repair and then get my car fixed. However, I had spent the night in Lakewood a few days previously and knew Bridgeport street. So I headed down it from Pacific and quickly found Daves place. Almost immediately I was greeted by him and assured that I would be taken care of. Which I was inside of 30 mins. My cars problem turned out to be minor (despite that noise!) and I was soon on my way. I cant say enough about Daves service and personal attention to my needs. Thank you again Dave!

Dave is a great person to deal with; he is one of the few honest autocare people (shops) out there. He is reasonably and will always try his best to accommodate your needs. If he can not he will refer you somewhere that is accountable. We had a manifold problem and he noticed we were just under our warranty deadline. He wrote up a quote but told us to go to the dealer to get it fixed. With his outline of the problem the dealership went right to work. Thanks Dave and (Autolube-D&S Autocare) he saved us from a $1800 bill!
