Very few places will allow you to provide your own parts because they want to make even more selling them to you. These guys allowed me to provide rotors and brake pads and did the work correctly for a fair price.I was going to wait but they were short staffed and gave me a free loaner car and called me 3.5 hours later when my truck was ready.I will use them again, highly recommended!

We came to South Tacoma Auto to drive a used automobile. We researched the dealership and the car thoroughly. We found the salesperson, Charles to be responsive, professional and friendly. Just had my car in service for an alternator replacement. Overall, a fantastic experience. The price was fair and competitive. The service department was able to get me dropped off in the morning and picked up my car in the same day afternoon. They even polished one of my headlights for free. I brought my car in thinking that I needed new brakes and rotors and a front axle replacement. When I called and they asked me which side the axle needed replacement, I told him I needed both. I also said I needed brakes and rotors. So I drop the car off and they gave me a free rental. Later on in the day, I got a call back and they told me my brakes are fine. They also test drove my car and didnt find anything wrong with the axles either. Ive had a lot of bad experience with shops and I know for sure that a lot of shops wouldve just said, OK we can do all that for you, no problem. I wouldve been charged around $1000 for all the work and I would never even have known that I didnt need any work done on my car as of yet. South Tacoma Auto was very upfront with me and I really appreciate their honestly. If you were having any problems with your car and you are unsure of what the problem is or just need some work done, South Tacoma Auto is the place to go. If you are going to places like Jiffy Lube, Buckys, Valvoline, Precision Auto Tune, you are being ripped off for sure.

And i felt genuinly please with the service that wad provided me today. Honest and hassle free service. I am definatelt going take my bussiness there from now on.

As a younger looking female, I struggle with mechanics that try to take advantage of you and get you to pay for services you dont need. Randy and the crew at South Tacoma Auto take such good care of me that it makes the drive down from Seattle worth it every time. My brakes were acting up and they fit me in last minute and identified the problem. Fixed it and got me on my way, explaining what the issue was and what to look for in the future. Bought a 2018 Kia Soul + back in 2019. Was a great little car until July 2021 when the thing just died on me going down river road. Didnt know what was wrong or who to turn to so after having it towed home I thought 🤔 maybe I should call the dealership 🤔 spoke to some lady who expressed no empathy but sent a tow truck right away. Rode with the toe truck driver to South Tacoma auto and was finally able to talk to Randy. That guy is something else ...he said they didnt have any loaners available but he didnt stop until he found me one. Told me it would be a couple days before I heard from him and it was...but when he called he told me the engine has seized ..not really entirely sure what that means but I knew it wasnt good, and I was so worried because the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty kia offers doesnt transfer to the 2nd owner ..but Randy advised me that I had apparently had 2 warranties, one reg and one gap ...inspector from Kia looked at it today and I guess its all being taken care of!!! 🤗 Its only gonna cost me around $300 for things like belts, new spark plugs etc. SO HAPPY 🥳🥳🥳

I had purchased a vehicle from them a day before, and they informed me the stereo wasnt working.and that to bring it in, tomorrow morning to fix it. So I did, and they were great. If they couldnt fix it? They were gonna give me a rental and install a new one. But they found the issue, ret it ended the car to me, and I am very happy with the service.

I just got my 60000 mile service done and paid LESS than I was quoted because they didn’t need to do something or other... sorry not a car person lol... but my point is, they are always trustworthy and the work is always guaranteed.

No mask was worn by front desk lady. South Tacoma auto disregard for my and my 1 year old safety by not wearing a mask was extremely concerning. I saw numerous employees not wearing a mask. South Tacoma auto disregard for governors mandates and public safety as Covid numbers are on the rise agin worry me of the quality of a company being ran. They did a great oil change in a timely manner and allowed me to drop my car off early as I was leaving town for a few hours and had the oil change done before my actual appointment

They were very helpful and kind in perdon and over the phone. They found that what I actually needed fixed was less expensive than what I *thought* I needed fixed and were honest about it! It may seem small but I really appreciated it. Cut my bill in half.

I bought my car in for a ticking sound in the engine they replaced feel injection pomp and then stated that they heard a suck at noise. There was dont suck a noise They sent the car to Tacoma Nissan for diagnostics then to call my knee song recommended a engine tear down fall thought, auto claims they didnt engine Tara tone and found nothing wrong one I picked up the car there still is the ticking noise the base flip told me to drive the car until breakstone again which i think this is on safe i am just

The sales team and finance guy were great but every other service rendered was a raging dumpster fire. Do not contract paint with them. Do not take one of their ratchet, unsafe loaner cars and do not expect to be taken seriously or treated well if you are a woman.

Every experience with these professional and knowledgeable, well groomed and polite individuals has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend doing any kind of business with them. The car I bought is still operating beautifully 2 years later and I take it to them regularly for services (and their oil change is cheaper than jiffy for me).❤

I called STA about getting my car checked after it was broken into and they fit me in right away. They looked over my engine and fuse box at no charge, and serviced my car as well. Very pleased with their work and will definitely be coming again.

Ron in the service department was exceptional. I purchased a used 2018 vehicle in March to find out the tires needed to be replaced. They offered to replace the tires with used tires, but due to COVID closures were not able to follow through at the time. I did not recieve any follow-up when things reopened and had left several messages. When I called yesterday, Ron helped me and he got me new (used) tires within a day.I appreciate your follow through and punctuality despite the initial delays.
