Wonderful, went on the last night I was in Washington. The server was friendly the food was amazing and I loved the local wines. If you go you must try the chocolate chip cookie so good

This place is an absolute gem!! I get it a couple times a week for lunch and or dinner. FRESH and creative food. Had my parents over to try it and they are taking my aunt and uncle there this week! I had got the wrong item for lunch and they immediately corrected it and made it right. Fantastic business.

Stopped in today to grab a drink and do some work on my laptop. It was a very pleasant experience! $3 for a mimosa - fantastic! Would love to stop by again to try the wine flights and other items on the menu

Absolutely marvelous. I had a great fig salad, which was their seasonal special, and a glass of red wine. Sweet girl served me.

Love this place and the people who run it!!The food is delicious and nicely presented. Fun things you don’t see everywhere and good wine. It’s a great atmosphere, I love to have meetings here, meet friends here and have dinner with my husband here. It was better when there was a bookstore next door to explore afterwards but what can you do?

Food is good but they use a LOT of pepper so that hampers enjoyment for some.

Nice place right off Pacific Avenue to stop by and have a cup of coffee. One of the better places around town to have a meeting - prefer this place to Starbucks. Has a “homey” feel to it. Really enjoy the atmosphere and the pleasant staff. Anna (one of the staff) was very courteous and made me feel welcome. Although it was my first time here - I will definitely be coming back to this place!

The penne with basil pesto sauce & pine nut is delish with a glass of the house Savignon blanc - super affordable during happy hour.

Great stuff. Got the short ribs, which were great. Came with broccochini & potatoes, which were both delicious. Could have passed on the almond cake, but overall, I enjoyed it.

Always love coming here to visit with old friends and have dessert! The manager is funny and so passionate about the food that comes out and treats everyone with Grace and friendliness. Today was just a quick dessert afternoon. Lemon sorbet was on the list which was cool and refreshing! It came with a sugar cookie biscuit which complimented it perfectly!

The food is amazing especially if you go during happy hour, but the prices are affordable regardless. The atmosphere is great as well. Very clean. Only have 4/5 stars because the service is a little slow since many of the staff are college students. But if you’re not in a rush definitely worth the wait.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a MUST try restaurant. I was absolutely blown away by the price of everything and even more blown away by my now, most favorite stew IN THE WORLD. The NORWEGIAN HUNTERS STEW is to die for. I wish it wasnt a seasonal item, because I would stop in every day for this stew. The swedish meatballs are wonderful too, as well as the sausage lentil and kale soup. Also while your at it give the great tasting beer a try too. THANK YOU 208 GARFIELD, for the wonderful food, and my personal favorite the Norwegian hunters stew. I will be back, hungry for more!

Had their breakfast panini, it’s very tasty. It doesn’t have a over load of sauces. I also had their hot chocolate, it tasted so good I want 3 more.the staff is nice and fast service. I would come again.

Absolutely, phenomenally delicious! We had the Scandinavian hunters stew and the sausage with lentils and kale soup with a smoked Turkey piadina. Wed been wanting to try this place for a while so we went for my birthday lunch and it definitely exceeded expectations. The food was very inexpensive and quick. And the staff was friendly. We are definitely going back soon.

Scandinavian holiday menu was lots of fun to share with my 75 year old mother. Food was good. Service questionable. We were given one napkin, asked for another. Brought one fork after that, had to ask for another. Given one spoon. You get the picture. We would go back tho for the fun food.

The food is always great here. Prices are reasonable, and Ive enjoyed their golden milk lattes. They always have fresh staff though, so manage your expectations with service.

Great little spot for small plates and charcuterie. The selection of wine and beer is pretty amazing for a small spot. Try the watermelon cider while you can!

Very nice quiet place for a quick bite, living across the street makes it very convenient, as I dont have to use a car to come here. Tried multiple types of Wine here and theyre all good! Only complaint is that the wine is warm, wish it was a bit cooler when served.

The food is OK. Loving the pesto, but honestly the paninis are just sandwich meet and rather than grill or cook they use a lot of microwave. And basically every time Im there, I swear, they forget about me. Not a problem, just a fact. Alcohol is good. Staff is really nice and cares. Clientele is decent to be around

Dont eat here if celiac. A lot of dishes are marked gluten free, yet they put the paninis on the same grill as the gluten paninis. The lady on the phone also sounded like she didnt know what she was talking about. Take off the GF labels

Very cute and cozy place to have coffee and stuff, even small, delicious snack plates that make it that much better. Easy to order from and I havent had a problem as of yet with their service. They always seem calm and ready to receive your order.

The staff is very personable, which is a huge plus. Their prices seem a little steep at a glance, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The one exception to this is their soup. Make no mistake, their soups are great, but theyre very stingy with the portions the provide. They could benefit from having a wider variety of drinks available at any given time. I come here regularly and plan on continuing to do so.

The food is delicious! Service is very slow. The younger employees are often new and unsure of what to do. The older woman who appears to be a supervisor can be very short and rude with employees and customers alike.

Great menu with a variety of unique salads, sandwiches, small plates and baked goods. Nothing deep fried, many gluten free options. Nice beer, cider and wine offerings too. Save room for dessert! Happy hour each weekday and all day Sunday. I cant remember if theres one on Saturday. Good WiFi too!

I can only review the coffee.. I got a vanilla latte and it wasnt good. Love the cozy atmosphere though.

This is one of my new favorite spots! Great menu (European Cafe/Bistro style setting), very friendly staff, and to-die-for scones. I dinged them one star because of the confusing service model. If staying to eat versus ordering to go, servers bring ice water (sometimes) and coffee upon request, but refills are on you at the water station near the front counter. Not sure yet how to get coffee refilled. Anyway, prices are reasonable, so stop by and check them out for yourself!

What a great oasis. Personable and professional staff... Great coffee, good prices, good atmosphere... Stopped to celebrate my buddy getting his drivers license. The manager (Jess I think) heard that and was polite enough to offer congratulations as well. All the staff was so pleasant, tables were clean... I cant say it enough, it is a refreshing oasis in the world of huge, cold, cooperate businesses. Thank you, Im so glad we decided to stop in.

The food is awesome here. We had the white bean dip with grilled pita and The BLT salad and the short ribs with mashed potatoes. Great!!!

208 Garfield is a sweet, little gem of a place in Parkland. We visited during a volleyball tournament for an early lunch and were very impressed with the awesome selection of salads, paninis and beverages. Highly recommend for casual setting and good eats to make your tummy happy.

This place is my lunch sanctuary! The food is super reasonable, and always amazing and like Id make at home. Never anything canned or pre-done. Just a really great little place. Everyone I bring here always ends up coming back.

They have a great selection of different foods. Paninis, salad, pasta, etc. They also have selections of small plates and desserts. The drinks are good. And the atmosphere is great :) The staff are very friendly.

A fun atmosphere with great food and snacks. You can stop in to grab a snack, sit down and order from the menu, or just grab a bottle of wine to take home. If you are looking for a quick stop by PLU this is a great place to go.

208 seems like a coffee shop walking in, but the food was definitely restaurant quality, and incredibly reasonably priced, trending towards cheap. A very relaxed and mellow atmosphere that would be equally perfect for a nice family dinner or a quick meal while working on a term paper.

Cool place... near PLU and often staffed by college students. Menu has a European flair and it is all good.

The food was absolutely amazing, but the service was horrible. My friends and I sat ourselves and wait for fifteen minutes and no one came to our table to take our orders. There were dirty plates from the people before us that no one cleared off. We had to go up and tell them we were ready to order. After we ordered, all of our orders came at different times. After our meal we had to go up again to say we were ready for the check because no one was coming around to check on us. After we finally received the checks they again never came to pick them up and instead stayed in the back doing busy work until we called them out to take our money. It wasnt even a busy day and they had enough people working. The food is wonderful, but I wouldnt go back because of how poor the service was. This has happened to me both times that I have gone there.

I enjoy every time i come into 208 Garfield, either to study or to have a bite to eat. They have a varied amount of choices that can satisfied anyone.The service is friendly, always.

I ordered a cappuccino that took 15 minutes to be completed, the cappuccino itself tasted like burn coffee beans and cream were mixed it the back of a dump truck. My cappuccino was mostly creamer, and it had a inch of foam before i even reached the coffee. My friend that ordered a americano and avocado toast got her americano before I got my cappuccino and then waited another 15 minutes for her avocado toast. When I walked into the building I was immediately hit but a thick layer of fumes and after waiting 20 minutes in the building waiting for my friends orders, I could see the the fumes in the air and had to step outside. They seemed very understaffed and some employees didnt seem like they werent working and i even saw a worker on there phone. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars is because there prices were dirt cheap and reflecting of there products.

Love this place! The prices are fair, the food is great and there is always something good on tap.

Trendy sandwiches and other light fare

Decent food, very artisan, good wine and beer selection for the class of establishment, reasonable prices, and they serve Stumptown roast, which is typically one of Seattles best roasts. Baristas are hit and miss, but you can expect a decent latte there, generally speaking.

Best coffee ever! Iced caramel macchiato is my go-to when I need a pick-me-up. Their sandwiches and pastries are delicious as well (highly recommend the turkey pesto panini and zucchini bread)! Great place to grab lunch or study away from campus, and friendly staff!

Didnt stay to eat because of the overwhelmingly strong fumes in the restaurant. Every table we tried to sit at was dirty. We decided to have a beer, but the keg popped after one glass of nastiness, and only the absent owner can change a keg... Overall a huge fail.
