No mask during pandemic and mediocre coffee. Won’t be back!

First time here! Ashley was an absolute gem! She had the cutest smile and was very upbeat and energetic. I was with my friend, who is a regular, and Ashley automatically knew what my friend wanted. Remembering your customers and being friendly with them makes them feel acknowledged and makes them feel good, and Ashley definitely does that. She explained some drinks to me and what were in them and what was popular. The drinks she made me was delicious and I’m excited to come back!

I ordered a ice Golden Ribbon and its ok but the barista that took my order gave me a dirty look and on top of that she wasnt wearing a mask. Im new to the area and Im looking for a go to coffee shop besides Starbucks and Dutch.

I have been going here consistently for over a year.Ashley is absolutely amazing and makes the best coffee in Tacoma every day hands down. The only reason I continue coming here is solely for Ashley to make my coffee. As for the rest of the baristas ... there is no consistency with my drinks or the price I pay whatsoever. My iced drinks are frequently warm when handed to me with powder flavoring on the bottom of the cup and 9/10 times the coffee is bitter.Edited to add: they open at 5 am but are never there at 5 am. They open at 6 am on the weekends and are never there at 6 am. The owner works the morning shifts and I have been here multiple times between 5:05-5:15 and no one is here.

Today I pulled into the line for a coffee and noticed the barista wasn’t wearing a mask. It’s been almost a week since the mask mandate was reintroduced in Washington state regardless of vaccination status. When I told her I’m actually okay, she waved me through and shrugged as if to say she didn’t care whether or not she should be wearing a mask. Such a shame.

My favorite coffee stand! The blonde gal who works mornings on Saturday’s always makes my drink perfect (I feel bad I don’t know her name). And she is always so sweet!

Nice workers. They didnt wear a mask until I said something. I dont want anyone breathing on my drink that isnt wearing a mask. It is too dangerous!! I would have given 1 star but staff put on a mask on request. I was told the owner said it was ok not to wear a mask if they stay 6 ft away. I am a front line worker. I cant risk going anymore. I wear my mask even if I dont want to.

I hate to leave a bad review for small businesses, but this place does not seem to take covid precautions very seriously, I used to like going here, but have noticed they dont wear a mask unless you ask them to. I didnt think that was an option for people preparing food, even if they are socially distance from customers, they are not 6 feet away from the food/drink they are preparing for you. I realize that wearing a mask for your entire shift is not ideal, and may be uncomfortable, but its a lot better than getting or passing along covid -.-

Love this place, friendly nice staff. I go here often before school and get a blue raspberry redbull bomb which I love. Their coffee is pretty good too.

Shockingly disgusting coffee. I dont even know what the lumpy bits are. I ordered a drip coffee with cream and sugar. Im horrified thinking about the fact that I swallowed some of it. I thought it was grounds at first. I hope you people get eaten by alligators!

For love of God, wear a mask. Out of several visits only 1 lady had one on.

I’ve been coming here for years and I’m surprised that anyone had anything bad to say about them. The coffee has always been good and the baristas have always been friendly. The prices are good too. We always have a difficult order because of allergies and they always get it right every time. I do have my favorite baristas just because they all make coffee different and I like mine strong and not too sweet. I really don’t have anything bad to say about them and I’ve been a customer since 2011. Maybe the people that had bad experiences here are lying or they were being jerks. The customer is not always right and never entitled to be rude.

The barista was amazing and made us perfect coffee to help on our road trip.The flavors were perfect and the birthday cake flavored coffee wasnt too sweet or sickly- just the right amount of birthday goodness!

The nutty fox is my favorite. I will drive out of my way any time Im in Tacoma just for this drink. And every barista is fast and super friendly. Well priced compared to the other coffee shops in the area. And its family friendly.

Barista was chatting with her GF in the car in front of me forever. They never ordered anything. When I was finally leaving the GF had pulled into the drive through on the other side to continue. Slow service. Unprofessional.

I love this coffee shop. It is my go to place to stop on my way to work. Everyone is usually really nice. It can be hard to find a place where the baristas consistently make good coffee. The owner of the stand works Tuesdays thru Friday and she is awesome at what she does. She always remembers my order. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Ive been here 2 or 3 times over the last months... Went yesterday instead of my regular place...This morning I woke to no creamer...(why I do that to myself is beyond me.) so I dWent to Fox Hollow... The barista remembered my order...clear down to the required 120 degrees! (Been going to my (past tense) regular place for a long time...and they still dont know me.) So...congrats Fox Hollow!YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE COFFEE STAND IN THE SOUTH SOUND!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Just had something weird happen.... I go there often. I get DIFFERENT sizes often. New lady has been there lately (my favorite out for awhile) so been getting coffee from new lady.. Getting my punch card pinched... Finally got 10..yay free coffee! I used my free card this morning and new lady made me pay difference between 16pz and the 24 Oz that I ordered for my free one! I asked her why I had to pay the difference, she stated... Its pays for the normal size I get. She helped me 3 times... I have to order 10 to a free one. How does she know my normal size. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Be CAREFUL with this place I went here almost everyday I got an Iced Americano & to my surprise it had mold in it! Never got a call from manager for a refund like the barista said I would.

Worst service ever!!! Very overpriced. Extremely rude barista. Will say again... VERY RUDE BARISTA!!! Will not only never go back, but I will also tell everyone I know how unwelcoming this place is. Last thing you want to encounter at 7am on your way to work is a grumpy toad who makes crappy coffee and then charges you too much. Will also be contacting the owner and reviewing on Yelp

The gals are great except for one.im sorry but customer service was not good with her. she was short and just kinda rude. plus I buy 3 drinks and only got 1 punch on my card.
