These guys are awesome took my phone there to be fixed had some issues with the speakers. I left out with a loud working phone they were able to fix it! I am happy with there service. Social distance was practiced there. They did have hand sanitizer also. You must wear a mask In the store as well. iPhone 11!

We had an activation nightmare that lasted 4 days that Jimmy was able to resolve in less than a half hour. The call centers for my carrier and the call center for Apple kept sending me back to each other in a vicious loop Jimmy took the time to figure out the problem very happy thank you so much Jimmy.

This is the worst Apple store with the worst customer service. They promised to get something fixed by a certain time (and I arrived at the time promised to me) and had me wait for one full hour before giving me an update that their system was having an issue so I had to wait more… indefinitely, without any deadline. I asked the rep if I can take my phone, and he said no. Instead, he went on to say he felt disrespected and walked away. I waited another hour from then onwards. Avoid this store at all costs. I recommend you drive to the Apple store in Seattle to actually have your problem attended to.

In store shopping is not permitted at this location. You have to buy online and pick up at the store . For service and repairs, you have to make an appointment before going in. It’s a different of shopping but it do work . Everyone there were so helpful. I had a pick up . I went in before my check in time but was able to get my order and ask my questions!Great location, best customer service

I have used Apple products since the very first iPhone! I generally have never had need to go into an Apple store because my phones are always working. But yesterday I found myself needing to go into the Apple store there in Tacoma. After the way they treated me I will no longer be purchasing Apple products. The staff there needs to learn that customers come first customer satisfaction needs to be their top priority!

Hands down the worst apple store I have ever been to. I had an appointment for 12:30pm checked in 5 mins prior. Just to be seated and wait 45-60 minutes just for no one to come by or anything. After watching them help people that had just walked threw the door countless times. I had enough. 0% professionalism, 0% customer service. DO BETTER!

My iPhone was screwed beyond repair. I set an appointment up this morning and was able to get in later in the day to get my phone looked at. Juan was amazing! He was so attentive and helpful, looked over every detail and made sure he did everything in his power to ensure I walked out a happy customer with a fixed phone in hand. Fantastic store, employees, and experience!! A++I am about to buy my first Apple product (an IPad pro for my business. Ive been researching them online, but wanted to see them first hand.From the minute I went to the line outside, I was greeted and made to feel welcome. I was told they might not have an employee who could answer any questions for about 45 minutes, but could go take a look and they would help me when they could.I was only there about ten minutes, when someone came to help me. He was so nice and helped me answer all my questions, even looking up information he didnt know.I never felt like I was being sold Or pressured on anything. He even said Apple is great to their employees. Not only am I happy knowing the iPad will meet all of my needs, but with the excellent customer service and experience, I feel really great about the brand and support.What a great experience all around! Went with my friend to unlock her iPad. You have to have an appointment and masks are mandatory. They way overbook. Daniel helped but continually walked away leaving you hanging. When you needed help youd had to search him down. It took way longer than needed because of this. They should stick with one person at a time, isnt that what you make an appointment for?! When youd ask him to stay, he got an attitude. It was very frustrating especially when you come from out of town. I get theyre busy, but come on it took well over an hour for a simple fix. Over booking is a problem they should address.

Severely Disappointed.The day started full of optimism. Will today be the day our phone troubles end and we can finally get our IPhone fixed? After days of haggling with local repair people we finally decided to bite the bullet and make the very long drive to our nearest Apple store. We made a day out of it and assumed that all of our troubles would cease after our appointment because we drove so long so they mist treat us with basic human respect, right? Sadly we were incorrect. After talking with the “Apple Genius” named Victoria who was very insistent that we were stupid and didn’t know how to do simple things such as sign into the ICloud, they then informed us that we just needed to do a hard reset of our phone. Okay, we thought, a solution in sight! Hoorah! No longer will our days be filled with IPhone related frustrations. Again, we were blissfully ignorant. Ah, to go back to the naive youngster I once was, with faith in big corporations. After said hard reset was completed, we were forced to wait while our Apple “genius” ingnored us and helped someone else even when we asked for help and we were in the middle of an appointment. After gaining their attention finally, we were informed that we had drive all the way back home and see if that worked. They did nothing to help us. If I wanted my time wasted I would have just called Apple support again. I called ahead of time to see if I could come in, I was told yes that I could come in, I went in and was told they wouldnt see me today for in store shopping. I was told that if I ordered online, Id be able to pick up at the store the same day. I placed my online order then went back to the store and they are now telling me I wont get my item today, that I have to come back again. The store is filled with lots of the latest Apple electronic devices, phones, watches, and computers. Its well organized, they have a Genius Bar that helps with tech problems and questions. They are very helpful, but often times they are so busy, they cant really take the time to help right away. So if you dont have at least an hour of free time to wait for a tech to speak with you, I would not recommend you do a walk in. Make an appointment first. That still does not guarantee you will be seen at the appointment time precisely. Buying products and getting service are on two different levels here. They have greeters to direct you where you need to be, but I dont like the hurry up and wait process. I ended up asking several people to help me find my phone while the ringer was off. I figured it out on my own before my turn came up. So I cancelled my appointment time and hopefully someone else was seen sooner.

The staff at the Tacoma apple helped me right away. Todd was the first point of contact, made the checking in / handoff a breeze. Rodrigo took over, super personable, made us feel like family. Picked up my iPhone here (purchased by my wife online). Quick and easy process. They have a good social distancing and sanitation protocol.Team members are very helpful and knowledgeable. The first time I went to this store is when I was asking for some assistance to reformat my old MacBook. I didn’t have any online appointment set up but the team member (just forgot his name) was extremely helpful and booked me for an appointment and resolved the problem with my MacBook.

They lost any income that repair would have brought or the income of my purchase of a new iPad due to their insistence of handling me with a robot call, as though, I was a robot. SOOOOOO BAD.These people dont want to help you so setting an appointment is pointless.We didnt know, our phone carrier set an appointment which completely wasted our time. We figured out what Apple couldnt figure out on their OWN product (which was simply how to locate an Icloud ID). They literally couldnt do it. Save yourself time and hassle by simply calling Apples customer care 1-800 number or ditch Apple altogether.

But what’s the point of an appointment if they don’t see them in time order.When I asked the security person if that was being done he just said “you’ll be seen today” well I’m aware of that but why is the person in front of me with a 5:30 appointment being seen before me with a 3:00 appointment. What’s the point of making an appointment. So that means I can technically make a 5:00 appointment and show up right when the store opens?

Apple stores are usually very similar and I have been to many in Southern and Northern California but the Tacoma Mall Apple store is not very friendly at all. Seems to be strictly business and not very helpful specially during COVID. I went in on a appointment to buy may iPhone 12 Pro and wanted to shop accessories but the person helping who had to escort me whole purchasing but she wouldn’t take me to the accessories just would tell me about them.Very unfriendly and unhelpful store.I only go when I have to and I have a iPhone, iMac, MacBook Pro, AirPods, Apple Watch and iPad Pro so I have many reasons to shop but this store keeps me away unless I really need to go.Takwilla store is much nicer and friendlier.

Not the easiest place to shop during the pandemic.... other stores more accommodating. Required an appointment just to look around which we were unaware of. Drove All the way to Tacoma. Other stores were limiting the number of patrons, but not the Apple store. They did bring out some merchandise for us to see to the mall where we waited. We never did make it inside.

Tons and tons of employees wandering around aimlessly yet no one can start an appointment on time. If they spent less time criticizing customers about their mask wearing and more time focusing on getting service done, they might actually accomplish something in the day. Took a phone in to get a battery replaced and it was 2 1/2 hours past appointment time..... then they broke it. Gave me a refurbished phone that doesn’t work. Now I’m stuck with another claim and I have to go in to suffer the wrath again or go without a phone for a few days while I mail it. They need a drill instructor in there for some of those employees. Might make some of the employees cry though

I went in to The Tacoma Mall Apple Store for a software glitch that occurred during an update for my little sister’s phone. A gentleman by the name of Wes assisted us with restoring her phone back to normal. Wes was very professional and had a pleasant approach with how he spoke to us, even remembering our names from the brief introduction. His customer service skills were remarkable. The entire process may of took about 10 minutes. I appreciate how friendly and professional he was. I am sending a big thank you to both Wes and Apple. We appreciate your assistance and efforts.

I had a great experience after a bad experience at the Tacoma Store. The manager Chad was stellar and admitted they had screwed up my appointment for new phones and setup. We were offered to come in the next day on our time, and received stellar service and got two brand new phones and the setup process with Ally was fantastic! WE will be back!!! :)

If you want to drop 1400 on a new phone with Apple care you can just roll in red carpet style. If for some reason you need to use your Apple care heaven help you, you’re going to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, and dropping the phone off for repair is out of the question. This store is a huge disappointment, you can see the management only cares about the $$$. Nothing worse than an Apple store trained to be vulture culture .

Ordered adapters online and went to do pickup, but the power was out so the store was closed. waited until the power came back on but they still didn’t open the store when it did. they had a line of people just waiting to pick up something they’d already purchased. why couldn’t they just scan the QR code in the emails we received, give us the stuff we already paid for, and email the receipts? I literally drove to Tacoma just to get this order and they were taking their sweet time when it looked like the only problem was that the display electronics were down. I just needed them to give me my stuff and they had people standing outside for hours with no promise of opening soon. I have a bad experience nearly every time I come here!!!!

Unqualified staff. I do not blame the employees, I blame the managers and training team. The employees do not know how to repair phones or macs. I had to go in several times before they were able to fix my products. The only reason they were able to do that during our last visit was because the employee said that he wasnt trained by the current team and had a different manger when he initially started. Incompetent on so many levels.Also, due to COVID, they are giving a preference to those who want to make a purchase over ones who need repair. While I understand this to some extent, you have to at least give some attention to your current customers. Ones that have bought products from you for years. Just because I am in need of a repair, that doesnt make me any less of a customer.

They sent my MacBook Pro in to get fixed (kitten damaged the screen) and it’s been nearly a week with no update on the progress whatsoever. Had to call to find it was just barely reached the repair depot and is in a line of backlogged repairs.The email confirmation said estimated pickup was yesterday. I rely on this computer for work and am extremely disappointed. The employee assured me 3-5 days it would be returned, however the repair status online never even says it was received (again, had to CALL to find out).I’m sure this isn’t just this store that this would happen at. It’s just a mess and you’d think they’d be MUCH faster considering I’m paying 500 dollars to fix a nearly 3000 dollar computer.Edit: bumped to 2 stars because at least the staff were kind and tried their best to help.

Im sorry but Apple has gone out of control only allowing you to enter store with pre made reservation. I didnt know this got there said wait in line. Waited for like 30 mins, then they said, Oh we dont have anymore openings for today. Please let us know before waiting in line, if that is the case. Im all about masks and Covid but this is overkill. Maybe have 50 limit in your store at a time and require masks, but this appointment thing is way overkill. Sorry I will still by Apple but this is out of control.

This store was packed when I arrived. Make an appointment if at all possible.The employees were supremely helpful and while the store was indeed very busy, they still managed to see me around the time of my appointment.All in all, I did not get the service completed I wanted, but that was through no fault of the employees. They did their best to help me, but were limited by the terms of AppleCare.All of that being said, there was some confusion on the part of the employees about whether or not they could process an upgrade for me. While they were quick to figure it out, it took some effort to find an Apple Store employee with the knowledge to help. In my book, thats still alright. Team work is important.

Terrible service! My iPhone is in recovery mode. I went to the apple store for help and the security guard told me that I need to call to make an appointment to speak to someone in the store and that it takes around 4 days to see anyone. I told the security guard that my phone was not working and I needed help and he said I should go to BestBuy and see if Geek Squad could help me. I’m done with apple.

The iphoneX is very high quality. The camera quality is as good as a canon camera, but it is much more portable. Sometimes, the portrait mode focuses on the object that you dont want it to, but a quick retake fixes that up. The google search is like a cheetah, its so fast. I definitely recommend it.

Kudos to Apple during this time of COVID & re-opening. Line was long, but pleanty of staff wearing masks & making things move as quick as it could. If you get to go inside they also do a temperature screening. Tip: If you need something worked on (like my phone), make an appointment before standing in line. I didnt know this, but next apt is tomorrow so not bad at all.

My iPhone 6s Plus that I had just received six days ago shut off and wouldnt turn back on. I went to the Apple Store in the Tacoma Mall and was happy with the service that I received. I was helped by a technician named Gavin who ran a couple diagnostic tests on my phone. He told me that my phone was busted and said I would need to get a new phone. He gave me a new iPhone 6s Plus free of charge and even took my glass screen protector off and put it on the new phone without breaking it and with better placement than what was on my old phone. I would recommend anybody that needs support on their Apple products go to this store and I will definitely keep them in mind next time Im having an issue.

My iPhone quit working right. After hours on the phone with customer support trying every single troubleshooting option including doing a factory reset and wiping the phone, I was told my phone was actually recalled due to this exact issue and that I could either go in to the Apple store or mail it in and Apple would swap it out for a new phone. Of course the phone started working again the minute I set foot in the store, and the genius who helped me said they wouldnt swap out my phone even if it wasnt working, even though this is a known issue. I drove all the way up to Tacoma for nothing but rudeness and no service.

Noisy. Too many people involved in rendering assistance. We were passed off from one to another and yet again and again. Its a little confusing. They couldnt solve my wifes original problem which was missing text messages. Sounds to me like an apple problem that they have known about for years but dont fix. Other than that the personnel are friendly and dont try to BS the customer. They are knowledgeable to the extent that they can solve the common problems that people bring them.

I just got my new phone about 3 weeks ago and ended up having to go to apple yesterday because I wasn’t able to hear anything when someone called me unless they were on speaker. I took it in, was helped right away, and they replaced/fixed my phone in less than an hour! Then, when I went to pick it up, I was going to buy a new tempered glass for my phone and they ended up taking care of it for me because I had literally just gotten the phone. Went to the Apple Store to purchase another Mac Mini for our business. When I was paired up with a sales associate the first thing I noticed was that she was blind.... walking cane and all. My immediate assumption was that this was going to take longer than I wanted. Would a blind person actually be able to even do this job?Turns out that my assumptions were totally incorrect. This young lady performed as well or better than any of the sighted employees have in my previous visits to this store. When she took over the computer I was using to place my order, her skills amazing. She turned on a feature of the computer which made it speak, and speak so fast that I could not understand what was being said. But that didnt matter, she understood perfectly.My take-aways from this experience were; blind people can do exceptional work, and Apple is showing good social responsibility by making opportunities available to everybody.Finally, though the store was very busy I was in and out quite quickly. Apple sucks!! Drove an hour and a half, fighting traffic, only to find out what we were told last week was totally wrong. Now I have a kid in tears because he cant get the phone apple promised. Nice going apple!! Not.!

I am so grateful and thankful for Christina and Jake at the Tacoma location! I came in tonight (6/26/19) at 820p, a little before closing bc my phone wasn’t working. They close at 9p, but I explained to Jake that my grandpa is in the hospital and isn’t doing well. When I began to cry, just from being overwhelmed with everything going on, Jake right away fit me in their crazy schedule. They not only got my phone sent out for repair but also got me squared away with a loaner phone. So that in case of emergency I have a way to be contacted. This touched my heart more than they could ever know. I’m truly appreciative of both of them and Apple! I will definitely be a life long customer! Thank you!

If you don’t have an appointment, be prepared to wait for a few hours if you need something repaired. I would like to thank the staff at this location for making my trip easy as possible and a special Thank you to Jasmine (i apologize if i butchered the spelling) for quickly attending to me every time i walked in. All 5 stars go to her & her attentiveness! Thank you again for your excellent customer service!

How do I start...I hate going to the Mall so my first time going into the Apple store was a few months ago. I decided to 100% convert to Apple...i-pad, phone, and Apple Watch. It was so much fun deciding what I wanted; because the staff are knowledgeable and listen to your needs instead of trying to get you to buy the most expensive item. And since I have a Apple VISA...the points was a nice surprise to use for other purchases.
