The Pharmacist that was on duty on on 11/2 was extremely helpful with my elderly parents giving them their flu shot and their COVID booster shot. She is always very nice and patient. What a great employee to have on your staff. Thank you very much.

My favorite Safeway. Its smaller, less crowded, clean and well managed. What I appreciate from it, is I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

A bit more expensive than others. But the customer service and employees are wonderful. Wifey and I take our 4 brats in and let them runamuck. The store is roomy and comfy. Kids love to find things they want to eat and enjoy. The check out.... we love the walk through and load the counter and the cashier is ALWAYS wonderful to talk with and when we leave we always have a smile when we go. Lots of good parking for trucks and trailers and motorhomes. All the best place to go when your board, bummed out or just happy.

This was the 1st time Ive been to this Safeway in MANY (5-10yrs). Ive always really liked this store & maybe just from nostalgia growing up in the area. This store remains clean, great selection of products w/ friendly staff. I appreciate having a nice, bright store for shopping.

Horrible. Bogo on pork needs to be easier to buy. Check out lady is miserable. Guy behind me was drunk and rude. I left without purchasing anything. I couldnt take any more. I usually shop at Hill top Safeway. Never had this kind of experience there. 🤮

This is a small Safeway (no bakery, small deli) from the 1950s (its been remodeled) so it has a more limited selection than other Safeways. But it has a great staff, made up of longtime employees who are friendly, helpful and keep things running fairly smooth. This is the rare kind of Safeway that can make the line move quick, so even though its popular, I still enjoying coming to this one after 20 years.

It is my favorite store because because it has pretty much everything Im looking for. And the prices are great.. Im a club card member and I get good deals on everything including gas. I highly recommend the store, high quality, good price and great service.

No.. over priced no bathrooms.. store for the dumb and poor.. Walmart is the clear winner in this industry.. one day they will just be a fruit and vegetable stand that sells gas the only areas there good at..

I bought a bad beef stick to make nachos with, I didnt find out that the meat was bad until about a week later, and I had thrown out the receipt. I called the manager, he told me I could bring it back in and exchange it with no problems.. (good job Safeway) Im still a customer.

This store opens at 5:00 a.m I arrived at 5:58 only to see a handmade sign saying open at 6:00 waxing floor at 6:00 nobody came to open the door we could see employees walking back and forth not looking at us at all I knocked on the door there were three of us standing outside waiting to be let in we could see two people at the cashier stand not even looking our way. Acknowledgment is everything and they couldnt even do that finally 6 minutes after 6:00 a gal comes to the door and says were not open yet turns around shuts the door and then she proceeded to lean up against the door with her back to us I will not return to this Safeway ever

Its pretty good for a small store. The bakery section and non-food items always seem to have empty shelves. Although the cashiers at the actual checkout stands are very friendly and quick; although self checkout - not so much. The customers are a little more rowdy at night and people drive super fast in the parking lot so just be careful!

This Safeway is mostly friendly. You tend to get to interact with people when they are having a rotten day and want to take it out on you. Im not talking about the customers either. Its nice to see the shelves stocked and being able to have a choice on what products to buy.Just be careful when you go to Starbucks in that Safeway. I did not enjoy my drink. Its actually been more often than not that I made a bad choice.

I love Safeway. The larger the better. Their meat is exceptional and, their fruits and vegetables are fresh and delicious. Even now, as grocery stores are fighting to keep up, Safeway is a great place to shop. They have great pride in their stores.The Safeway on 11th is small and doesnt have the variety that the large stores have. But they are good quality also.The employees take pride in their work and their store. If youre looking for a good cut of meat, they will even cut it for you, if its not out. This is a safe way to go to 56th 💜

Its a grocery store. What do you expect? Convenient for my location but not somewhere to shop if you want to save money.

During the heat they run out of pre made stuff fast and dont keep up on it. Other than that great place to shop.. download just for you app and save on items as well!!

This is a smaller store, but they have a little of everything. They also have self checkout stands, so it helps the checkout lines speed up the process. I find all safeway stores have a pretty slow checkout line process. I cant fault this safeway for that. Im still pretty new to the 56th ST safeway, but so far all the staff Ive had interactions with have been very pleasant and seem appreciative That I chose to make my shopping experience at their safeway. To be honest thats a huge rating in my personal rating sheet. We just bought a house 2 blocks from this safeway, so I will be a frequent at this safeway for years to come.

I went in to get a money order. A half hour later, I got handed all of my cash back because they couldnt fix the machine. Kinda scary walking around Tacoma with all that cash!! They couldnt put it back on my card.

This is a full service Safeway, but it is smaller than many stores and the parking lot is small and poorly designed. In general, Safeway does not have pricing that is competitive with other stores nearby except on sale items and this store is no exception. This store is prone to be out of items and has a smaller selection than many due to size.

A good local store, the women that work there talk to much out loud about there business, I dont want to know there business

This safeway has been like a cozy small town hole in the wall. The people who work there are generally eager to go out of their way to help find things. Their bathrooms are still open to the public. This is great since the covid times have not made finding a bathroom very easy. At all.

Safeway like other chain grocery stores carry most food items that are needed. They also have pharmacy, Starbucks, floral dept. etc. Due to Covid-19 they have set up waiting areas outside for picking up your online order. The reason I only gave them 4 out 5 stars is their produce selection and having to use their APP to get a special savings or sale items. The gas rewards program helps to over look this as shopping regularly can give you up to $1 per gallon discount.

Aisles are wide enough not to need a one-way system.Unfortunately the space needed to store the curbside items cuts into the east entrance, so you need extremely good reverse skills to park the scooters within range of their power outlets.

This store closes one set of doors at 7pm. They are obviously clueless and care nothing about their disabled customers because they close the entrance by the handicapped parking. There are no accessible parking spaces by the only open entrance from 7pm to midnight. You need to close the opposite entrance!!

Clean. Not too busy. The one complaint I have is that they allowed a lady walk around with no mask/face covering...If theres a good medical reason why youre not able to mask up, instead of endangering yourself and those around you, have your groceries delivered!! So inconsiderate...

Doc called my prescription in at 1:15 - I went 2 hours later and they said it’d be another 10 mins. 25 mins later I go back up and my prescription had been ready the whole time and no said anything. all I heard was people talking about their vacation behind the desk..so unprofessional making [sick] people wait that long for their medication. screw you guys.also, their checkout is a total joke! the lines are so long and they only have like 2 check-stands open at a time so the lines go down the aisles..it’s just so chaotic and ridiculous.

If you need a cart make sure and grab it somewhere from the parking lot. Seems nobody that works there knows how to bring the carts in. Back in the day this was the go to grocery store. Kinda a mess now

I had asked about cart shortage at the handicap entrance, the manager was very polite. He explained that they have carts on back order they hope to get in soon. They have looked into redoing the parking lot. It will take time because of a grade issue. Sometime this year is hopeful, and they will put handicap parking at the main entrance.

This is our neighborhood grocery store, and its a little smaller than some of the other locations in town. As such, their deli counter, bakery, and other specialty areas have a little less variety. That said, they pretty much always have what we need when we visit, and we rarely have a long wait at checkout. There is a Starbucks location in the store.

I first have to start off by saying the staff at this location both In Store and at the Fuel Station across the street are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and Care about their customers. I stopped off at the Fuel Station after visiting the actual store to buy a Birthday Cake for my Mother In Law, I slid my debit card at the Air Pump next thing u know money was deducted from my account and I began to pump air into my back passenger tire that was low. Little to my knowledge the Air Pump was actually broken and instead of putting air INTO my tire it TOOK OUT ALL the AIR that was in my tire. After a few deep breathes I went to ask the Fuel Attendant for some assistance, thats when I was notified that they had gotten busy and FORGOT to put and Out Of Service Sign on the Air Pump. At this point I was a bit irritated and I was told she was calling the Manager, once the Fuel Station Manager arrived as well as the Lead Shift Employee from the store as well as the Security Person from the store. I was quite overwhelmed and felt as if they were truly there to help me, and sure enough they offered to buy a can of fix o flat to at least get me home. With no luck with that, the Awesome Security Person offered to change out my tire and did so very quickly and diligently. I had my whole tire issue fixed within 45mins and I have to say I couldnt have felt more grateful and blessed for all the help and support I got from everyone involved that night. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH AGAIN TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO HELPED MY DAUGHTER AND I THAT NIGHT. WE TRULY APPRECIATE IT MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!💖💙💚💖💙💚

Very big store reminded me of a store I used to go to when I lived in West Virginia ....clean.

Prices are higher than any other Safeway and usually only 1 register open and everyone else is standing around talking about how hung over they wereExample of price Hot Wheels are $1 or less at other stores at this Safeway there $2.49

Over the last 6 years the variety has gone away. And the prices dubbed. Costco, Wal-Mart and win-co are better.
