I was really impressed with this place not only because they quickly fixed my damaged bumper, but they washed my car and even cleaned/vacuumed the interior which was not expected. Honestly that meant more to me than the fixed bumper lol. I appreciate people who go the extra mile!

The manager, Shirley, was wonderful from the time I dropped off my vehicle to when I picked it up! She gave me a very fair estimate which my insurance company accepted. The work was done very well and as quickly as possible! They even washed my van. Shirley provided transportation home and back to the shop when it was finished as I had none. Safelite replaced my windshield and there was a few damages on my hood. I was looking for the best place to get the job done reading reviews and universal collision had the best reviews. Ms. Tammy was awesome and very patient with me. Safelite gave us both the run around for 2 months. I finally got my truck hood painted and I love the work. Universal did a FANTASTIC job fixing my Honda Pilot. I had a minor fender bender (my first accident ever) and they made my car look like it never happened. They communicated with me by text, phone and email through the entire process and were extremely informative. I had an extremely awful experience with another body shop here in town and Universal Collision has restored my faith in good honest people! Also, I need to note that Mike Sword in your front office deserves a raise! He helped me get everything out of my car and took me to work because I needed a ride. They were fantastic--they took the time to fix my minivans broken sliding door on the spot. Because it was a fairly quick fix, they didnt even charge me for it! Other places Id taken it to told me that they wouldnt even be able to diagnose the problem until next week.

My car was ready quickly, done right and I was updated throughout the entire process.

Customer service is horrible! They said the car would be done by the end of next week, the end of next week comes and it isnt finished. So they say the beginning of the following week, still not finished. Got a call at the end of the week on Friday saying it is finished, came to pick up but they said paper work wasnt finished and to come back Monday. Keep in mind, they NEVER called to give me an update. EVER. I ALWAYS had to call them and ask about the progress of my car. And when I did they seemed annoyed and irritated. All I asked was to be updated on the status of my car. Every time I would talk to someone they spoke with a condescending tone and talked to me as if I were a child. ALSO they put a spare tire on my car and after driving it across town, a friend realized they didnt even tighten the lug nuts on all the way. He was able to take them off with little to no effort. Would never come back or recommend.

Universal Collision is the best body shop in Tallahassee. They consistently strive to go above and beyond. When my truck was damaged I took it to the Tennessee St location. The work was completed when they said it would be completed, and the finished product looked great. I will always use Universal Collision for any body work, and I recommend them to anyone needing work completed. Due to being sideswiped, the entire passenger side of my Toyota Sequoia was damaged, from the headlight to the tail light, every panel was damaged, the mirror was destroyed, & the front window was chipped up. Frank & his team went the extra mile from the time I stopped in for an estimate through completion & even the pick up. The work they did is excellent: replacement of side mirror & decorative parts, paint matching, etc. (Including leaving my truck way more clean than it had been when I dropped it off!). The whole experience was the most professional auto repair Ive ever had!Frank, the owner is a great guy, a pleasure to talk to, & a genuine man of his word, a rare commodity in this time! The team at Universal Collision made my stress disappear. From the initial phone call to their office to the final day of pick up, their team showed professionalism & courtesy in all phases of the process. Hopefully I dont need their services again, but if I do I wont hesitate to use them and Id recommend them to my friends.

I have not dealt with these people recently. Although reading “m hall’s” review, it is eerily similar to the experience I had almost a decade ago when I had my car repaired by these guys. Everything is the same down to forgetting to hook up the turn signals, but in my case it looked like one of their guys was wearing a belt buckle or something capable of scratching paint as the panels were installed. I would have never dreamed of having these people get within a country mile of my car, but the insurance of the person charged with the accident would only pay to have Universal Collision complete the repair. After forcibly receiving my car not properly repaired, I ended up going to Proctor GM to have it done right on my own dime. For some reason many people I know speak well of this shop, but from past experience I know they provide memorable service and not in the way that has you coming back anytime soon.

Very poor service. They were several days late repairing my car. They wanted to get the car finished before the Thanksgiving holiday so they wouldnt be responsible for additional car rental days because they were taking so long to repair my vehicle. They call me at 4:30 on Wednesday to tell me my car will be ready at 5:15 when they close at 5:30. Not enough time to drive through rush hour traffic to get to the shop before they close. Had to get 4 additional days on the rental car because of the holiday weekend, which they refused to pay. After I picked up my car I had to return to the shop because the turn signal was not operating. During this return trip, the manager invited me into an office to discuss this situation. He then proceeded to talk to me with a very condescending attitude and I asked him not to treat me like a 4 year old. At this point he became irate and jumped up from his desk in a very threatening manner and said were done and told me to leave the office. I left the office in a hurry for fear that this gentleman was about to assault me. At no time did I ever raise my voice or threatened him. His behavior was very disturbing.

Someone hit my bumper and a bit of my side panel and they made it look 100% brand new! Will be returning for all my auto body needs!

Terrible experience! 0 Stars!I received my car back DAMAGED and it had 127 miles added on to it!!!!! All I had done was a bumper change. Ill be seeking legal action against them. Also if you go through your insurance they lied to my insurance carrier about dates completed and calls made to me. I simply sent them a screenshot of my verizon records which proved that they are liars and trying to charge me for something that I didnt even know about!! Absolutely the worst company in town. BEWARE

Im very upset with the way my car turned out .... when we first went to pike up my car there was still ripples in the roof where a tree branches fell on it . My door doesnt close right my tail light was never plugged back in my sun roof switch sticks now when it never did before and many other things to say the least Im not happy they have my car a month longer then they said they would originally have it I would not recommend anyone back to them!
