For the most part, this is a well-run and well-kept location. We consider it our local store as it is in our neighborhood. The staff members are always courteous and kind. Always helpful in any ways possible, our visits are enjoyed. Thanks to mgmt and team!!

Tonight I single handed had the best Publix experience ever. Sean from the deli section deserves a paid vacation, promotion with a raise, or nomination for a noble peace prize. Tonight he was more than pleasant and extremely kind. If you are his manager and reading this, give this man a raise stat.

My wife interviewed at this store some time ago. She has an advanced degree and was told by the store manager that she would not be happy working at the Ocala store because many of the customers there were poor people and not smart (the location serves Black customers). She was told she would be much happier at other locations where customers made more money and were smarter (he named locations in white parts of town). The manager must have just returned from a speech by the Publix heiress, Julie Jenkins Fancelli, who is a devoted supporter of QAnon, right-wing hate and their general belief that poor, non-white people deserve their station in life because they are not smart. I was shocked a manager at Publix would blatantly express such nonsense in an interview. He should have at least tried to hide it a little bit...in the interest of business.

I love Publix. I do all my shopping at Publix. I how ever rarely come to this one. Will be the second time that I have visited the deli and received exceptionally slow and lack of any motivation or sense of urgency at all. The employees on the line move and act as if they really just do not care whatsoever. Im giving this Publix a three-star rating just because of all of its other great aspects but if I could rate the deli it would be a one star do not come here if you are in a hurry. Go to another Publix or another Sub shop.

Great for picking up whatever you are looking for, yep even your next relationship mistake (see ailes 12-14). You can get certain seafood seasoned and steamed as you shop so its ready to eat right now, right now for no extra cost. Only down side is the sub line slams full during peak meal times faster then that Frat Boy you know and simultaneously love/hate.

I ate at the deli here and it was not the freshest in the world but it wasnt horrible. I love this publix. Thet are fast at serving and the salad bar is great. The people at this location have been very helpful and host very well when Im looking for something that I cant find. Thankyou publix

Best customer service! I needed a fruit tray and the employer in produce volunteered to make one for me. I did not expect that. And it was after 7am and I was headed to work and needed this for lunch party. He saved my day. I wish I would have asked his name.

They have the NICEST staff members there! Most are pretty young and SO POLITE!! Very hard workers and always willing to help! I love this Publix.

Can always find what I need a Publix in any town. This is the only place I will buy cake for any event. Near Bakery is amazing.

I dont usually write negative reviews but this Publix has had ongoing issues that have not been address since speaking with staff. Ill start by saying this is the worst Publix to order a sub from. Its like the employees making them have never heard of a sandwich before. When someone asks for lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on a sub they usually mean a little bit of each unless they request otherwise. When you order any veggies on a sandwich here, the employees either pile on handfulls or forget the ingredient all together. Anytime I pick up a sub here I have to rebuild the sandwich and add what was left off the order. Today lettuce was left off, but they included over a dozen of each tomatoes and pickles. It seems theyre always super rushed to make online orders. If your employees need more time to prepare a quality sub Id be happy to wait longer but your app always says itll be ready in 30 minutes regardless of how busy a store is. Another issue Ive been having is a significant amount of the beer selection is expired. Ive now had three separate conversations over the past 2 months with staff stocking beer on the shelves where I pointed out expired beer. The staff agree that the beer is long expired but they leave it on the shelve for another unsuspecting customer. If you need an example, check out the Summer Break IPA by Sierra Nevada. I expected staff to remove expired items immediately but it appears theyre well aware and actively trying to sell the stale beer. Ill remove this negative post as soon as a manager confirms they talked with employees about how to build a sandwich (no need for handfulls of ANY ingredient) and I see that you have finally removed expired beer from the shelf.

Always clean bright store. Staff is super friendly. They carry special and unique foods for when you are wanting that.You cant beat the bogos they offer!

I go there to get my 5 gallon and 3 gallon jugs of water from the machine and pick up me and produce there too everybody there is friendly to petunia and myself its a great shopping experience good atmosphere and beyonds and just friendly people thank you for having such a clean happy store petunia and Chris

Always well stocked. Store employees are always helpful. My husband needs a scooter and they always go and find one for him. He loves scooting around the store. Hes a dialysis patient and his treat on dialysis days is a trip Public😀😁😆

This was my second time shopping at this Publix. Shopping here is fine until I arrived at the Deli section. They were unprofessional and lie. They do not have main options available. They were also providing customers with the wrong order.

Its always clean and welcoming here.. The pharmacy opens at 7am now and the store hours are 9a-9p. The staff is helpful as usual and everyone seems to really love their jobs. We love shopping here because this store keeps all the produce fresh and perfect. Its not a farmers market but its a close second. This is defiantly our favorite grocery store hands down.

I love Publix but not this location. Was in and other than paper or plastic, the cashier and the bagger did not acknowledge me. They proceeded to carry on their own conversation about a job they were both applying and interviewing for. I tried to speak to the cashier about something and received a blank look. Thanks Publix.

I love this place. The staff is top notch. This is a reflection of the management who play at the highest level. The have a wide variety of ready to eat take out meals. The Chinese food is restaurant quality. I suggest you try a sub sandwich. They can get super busy so keep that in mind.

I needed a religious card for a Muslim friend and I knew Publix carries all types of cards. The section for religious cards was fully stocked. And EVERY single religious card they had is ONLY for the Christian religion. Come on Publix, if youre going to have a religious card section, then stock it with cards for more than just Christianity 🤦🏻‍♀️ lets be more inclusive.....

Giving one star for the deli not having the Mardi Gras rotisserie chicken on ad the FIRST TWO DAYS OF THE SALE! Im disabled and have included the chicken on my delivery order two days in a row, but for some reason the delidoesnt feel the need to cook them.

Nice clean store. Lots of choices and beautiful produce. Asked for help and the folks were really nice and eager to assist.

This location is very nice with a good selection of products and friendly service from their employees.

The only Publix I’ve ever been to with mall-style Chinese food. Ate it constantly in college (way back in 2006) and it’s still great today.

Curbside pickup is faster if you go inside to pick it up, when they say its ready they put it aside next to the entrance. Just ask customer service and theyll give it to you right away, real easy.

Always clean and well stocked. You dont have to go looking for clerk, they will find you. Reghan is a fantastic pharmacy manager!!! She always has a smile and professional attitude.

Dont go there for lunch unless you have a 2 hour lunch break. Ice machines broke more often then McDonalds ice cream machines, 1 hour wait for a sub, if you get a dinner they will screw that up too but you wont find out until you get back because it is wrapped. and last they charge you individually for the items that are supposed to be included at no charge so pay attention when you finally check out

Great staff and they are very helpful I am physically challenged to stand for long periods and they always have electric scooters available and if not they will find one for you and retrieve it from the parking lot so you dont have to worry about taking back into the store.

This review only addresses the restroom. It is always exceedingly dirty, the toilet in the disabled stall is broken more than its not, and the soap dispenser has been broken for weeks. Shame on the management of this Publix branch for continually doing nothing about these problems.

A fine Publix. Its very popular with college students and is always very busy later in the day. As always, if you want to avoid the crowd go early in the morning.

They run out of drummets way to often. 40 minutes turned into 1 hour and 40 minutes on Saturday. I ordered pizza while I was there, had a 30 min wait on the pizza, picked it up came back to get drummets, still not ready. I waited though because i didnt want to cook. At least it was freshly cooked. I seen so many customers leave because they didnt have drummets. Such a lost of money that could have been made from the drummets alone.

Publix always has great selection and food. It is higher priced than walmart but the customer service is much better. The quality is better too. I hesitate to go to this publix because of the parking lot. The way it is laid out is terrible and causes a lot of traffic issues.

The bakery is pretty nice. I got my dogs birthday cake here for her 6th birthday. My dog loved the cake! Look at the cutie pie sniffing her cake 😂. (They dont do specialty cakes for dogs, but theres nothing in a vanilla cake that a dog cant eat, occasionally and in moderation.)I love all the Greenwise pastries in the bakery. Theyre my go-to birthday gift for roommates and other distant friends.Walmart is just as good for everything else though.

“Club Pub” ... How can you not like Publix?! Easily one of the better grocery stores to shop at. Having lived in Colorado for a couple years, I missed Publix soooo much. They not only have a clean store, they have a very very friendly staff. Possibly the friendliest staff of any grocery store. This location can get very busy though, it’s called “Club Pub” due to the large volume of college students who do their shopping here.

I ordered my sisters birthday cake from this bakery a few days before Halloween. I asked for a custom design and they did a great job. She loved it & it tasted wonderful. I ordered cupcakes for my work squad for the holidays. We picked them up today. Again, decorated beautifully and tasty. Thank you all!

Extremely busy, I dont know how the staff keep up with all the students and business. Exceptional work, that parking lot needs to be patrolled by FSU, TPD and LCSO more often though. The drivers are mindless, rude and reckless. Too often you have students from FAMU with school plates and stickers parking in handicapped parking and are not handicapped or have a handicapped tag or sticker.

The seafood attendant was super fun and helpful this visit. He greeted my sister and I immediately, waited close by until we were ready to order and served us with a cheerful spirit. It is a visit that will be remembered for a long time. The store was clean and the meat is always fresh looking.

Ive worked for Publix for years. I know the standard of customer service I am supposed to receive and that is reflected in the prices of the goods. Ive recently switched to Walmart because while the customer service at this particular store is not bad, its simply okay. I can receive okay customer service with much better prices at Walmart and save money doing so. With the addition of Greenwise, Publix no longer is anything special to me.

Everything I wanted to grab was right there in front of me. Sometimes theres something missing but always restocks.

On May 28th, 2021 I called publix pharmacy, I dont know who I spoke to, it was a very nice woman, I was throwing up during the call and you were so compansionate with me and I am so grateful to you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me, after I spoke to you another pharmacist called me back and he was equally compassionate with me, you worked so hard on trying to help me and calling my Doctor and getting me the medication I needed so desperately yesterday, I am so grateful and thankful for you both, I know you dont get the recognition that you so much deserve all of the time but you do from me, my brother was given a medication one time and he took it once and his eyes literally were bulging from his eye sockets, I called his doctor and the doctor told him it was just an allergic reaction, and take benadryl, I called his pharmacy and the pharmacist told me that if it were his brother he would take him to the eye doctor immediately, I did and that pharmacist saved my brothers eyes, they had to do emergency eye surgery on him or he would have been blind, I am so grateful for you all and I owe you a debt I could never pay back, I am just a medical assistant but I tell my patients that if they have a question concerning a medication that they have been prescribed then call their pharmacist because they went to school for this, they know what they are talking about, it is their business, I cant thank you enough for going above and beyond the call of duty for me yesterday, I am so grateful for you, I needed you and you were tgere, thank you

Love this store. Vegetable and fruit section always fresh. Seafood dept. Awesome. Deli and bakery. Great.There a Chinese restaurant inside publix. Great. But overall a great shopping experience.
