Needed an aluminum prop repair and a skeg replacement. Got a Porter Rock Guard as well. Wonderful work at an excellent price (well under my insurance deductible for all repairs) and completed in 2 days.

The best and most reasonable marine repair in the universe. This guy is the real deal. Once, I had an axle break on my boat trailer on a Sunday. He didnt have the part in stock so he took the new one off his trailer and put it on mine for a really reasonable price. It Made our trip. There is almost nothing he cannot fix.

Howard at this place is a joke I called and asked if they could work on my mercury motor before I took it and he said yes after a day he calls me back to tell me that he broke something on my motor and that he should have never worked on it cause Mercury’s are (junk) my motor when to this shop starting and running till it would flood out due to carbs now it want even start ….rude service Howard needs to stick to cutting trees not outboards stay away from this place

Let me say I am a first time boat owner. I purchased a eveinrude motor and it had some problems and I called around and no one would give me any help until I contacted Mr Porter. I explained what was going on and he had me bring it to him. He handled the problem and before I left he did a check up on the entire motor and found a few minor things wrong. He asked me to leave it with him and a few hours later he called me to come get it. They explained in detail what was going on and they repaired it for me. As for pricing, they are the best and completely fair. Im in sales and their customer service was by far top notch. I recommend them 100% and they will have me as a loyal customer for life. Guys I want to thank you.

All I can say is Porter Marine is the best. Call Howard before u call anyone, cause he is the best beside from his daddy, the best mechanic to fix it boats. So please check him out hes cheap and dang good at what he does.

Had a spun prop, intentionally placed a prop that fit the first 1/3 of the splines but vibrated violently on the first trip out in the gulf on return did not compensate the charge for the wrong prop but did FIND my original prop and gave me the number of a machine shop to competently fix the correct prop (rubber bushing) and would not take back the incorrect prop that is of no good to me. The prop replaced had a 1/4 inch gap in 2/3rds of the bore and splines. Total disregard for my engine and safety. This is a deep water large vessel that had never had an oil leak in 18 yrs. Yet to see if permanent damage done as result. The father is retired the son is...
