We bought a boat here. Fred and his family made the purchase fun, easy and fast. We bought the boat one day and it was delivered the next. The service was awesome. Fred called the day we had the boat delivered to make sure everything was going well. What a great place to shop for a boat and any accessories.

Nowhere else I will ever take my boat. Ive used Parkway several times for both regular maintenance and one repair. On one occasion I planned on having a lot of items taken care of beyond the regular 2 year maintenance. Parkway called me back that afternoon and basically told me my outboard was in great shape and only needed a few of the things I wanted done and asked if I wanted to still have the full list completed. Of course I took their advice and cancelled the unnecessary items. Havent come across too many marine mechanics that would tell a customer they really dont need something in order to SAVE them money. As long as I have a boat or live in the Tallahassee area Ill be a customer of Parkway.

I previously posted a 1-star review for this place due to a bad experience I had with them a few weeks ago. This morning, I got a phone call from the owner Fred (whom I did NOT get to deal with the day I visited). He asked what they had done wrong to deserve such a low rating. I explained what had taken place and Fred said he understood my frustration and he said he would follow up with his staff on what we discussed. He also asked if there was anything he could do to make the situation right. I told him that I have since sold the vehicle theyd assessed that day, and even though I am still not happy with what happened, I honestly believe that if given the chance, Fred would at least try to make it right. After talking with him for just a short time, it was clear that he is very knowledgeable so even though I never got to that point, I am sure he does good work (in fact, I went to his shop because a friend of mine raved about how great he was...and again, I want to stress the fact that I did NOT deal with Fred when I came in...and after speaking to him today, I have no doubt that the day would have turned out differently if I had). I wanted to remove the 1-star review, but I was unable to do so...so instead, I am submitting an additional one to offset the previous one and at least give it some context. Even though I cannot personally comment on the quality of his work...I certainly feel good about giving Fred 5 stars for integrity and character for his attempts to understand the issue and make things right.

I would like to say Fred is a very nice person. Hes very professional, I drove over two hrs to have the guys to work on my boat and Im glad that I did because they showed me that they care . Mr Fred is a very nice guy. I will continue to take my boat here for service because I know they will fo a good job.

All around not so good not that theyre not good its just that if your problem isnt within their purview they dont try to help you.

These folks are very lackadaisical and uncaring. They minimize you and belittle you and have a condensending attitude on the phone. Laughed at me on the phone and even HUNG UP ON ME!!!! These folks are a joke!! The father hung up on me and the daughter thought it was comincal. They could not even help me with a simple prop issue?? Really?? They wonder WHY THEY GET NEGATIVE FEEDBACK......DUH????

I purchased a new boat from Parkway Marine and the experience was wonderful. They answered all my questions, did a great job on installation of accessories on the boat and took ample time to explain the boat operation (including accessories).

The owner, Fred, and his daughter, Shay, were great to work with. I bought a used boat sight unseen from Wisconsin. Fred was up front and a man of his word. Everything on the boat was as he said. We agreed on a price and Fred pulled the listing before even receiving my check. Shay provided 40 photos of the boat so I guess it wasnt sight unseen. Shays communication was great and she was prompt with all the documents, etc... The boat was ready when I arrived. Not a single issue. Classy family business!

Could not of had a better experience working with Shay and Fred to buy my first boat. Shay went above and beyond to find answers for us and help with every aspect of getting the boat. She is so sweet, smart and has some of the best customer service Ive ever seen. We went on a test drive with Fred. Fred took his time with everything to make sure we knew what to do. He made sure we were comfortable driving the boat, answered any and every question. He took his time explaining things to us, showed us step by step tricks to load and unload the boat. Shay and Fred are both wonderful people and run a great shop. Nothing but praise to them both.

Boat buying for a novice is a trying experience. What kind of boat? How big? How much HP?When you finally figure that out, you go boat shopping and every salesman will tell you something different and try to sell you a boat that they want to get rid of. NOT the boat you need.That is NOT the case at Parkway Marine. Fred had the boat I wanted and he made sure that it was ready to go. At the time, I was in NJ and he was in FL. We negotiated price and the add ons over the phone. He didnt cut corners on the setup to try to attract a buyer looking for the lowest price. I got a fair deal for a great boat that will serve my family well for years to come. When I got to Tallahassee, the Fun Chaser was ready to go and I pulled it all the way to Big Pine Key.In the past month, we have been out on the water many times and boat has been excellent. When the raw water wash down pump died, Fred was very responsive in getting Caroline Skiff to send us a new one.I highly recommend that you visit Fred and his boys at Parkway Marine for your boating needs!

Parkway Marine far exceeded my expectations for my marine repair. I dropped my boat off on a Monday, with an timeline of around 7 to 10 days for turnaround. I had my boat the next day; thankfully it was a simple fix. Fred and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and explained the situation very thoroughly. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing marine repairs.

This third time I have taken my boat to Fred and his guys at Parkway Marine. Again for the third time they did a great job they went over and beyond. Gave me in detail what was wrong and told me how to fix it and the right way to fix it. Even went as far as giving it a light scrub and scrubbing my seat to get the mildew off that I have failed to do. I would recommend Fred and his guys to anybody I know with a boat.

I had parkway marine install trim tabs on my boat. Ok thanks Fred was great to work with. He took time to go over every detail with me when I dropped my boat off. The work was done in less time than he originally told me and the job looked awesome, the trim tabs looked like they were factory installed.

Good work, fair prices, accommodating and they seem like an honest bunch. Customer interaction is a little aloof would be my only critique. If you dont need service with a smile these guys have been good to me and I recommend them regularly.

Purchased our first boat--18 ft bass boat--through Freds Business. Fred made it about as easy a you can get...if you havent bought a boat before, its just not like a car/truck buying experience at all, particularly if what you want isnt on the lot. Fred steered me through the weeds and knowing i was a first time owner/operator of this minigo-fast boat, he offered his time to take me out to Lake Jackson to get me a bit comfortable with the machine. This was an invaluable service for me and i truly cant thank him enough. There arent enough bass boat showrooms (for me anyway) in the southeast...and Fred is a long time bass fisherman...so i would recommend him and his family-run business if you are looking to buy your first or that next boat.

They fixed my boy friends 18 years old car for a fair price. They did a miracle on that old machine. I visited their shop three times in last month, and they were always nice. On Thursday, I went to their shop without an appointment. The guy just tried to help me instead of telling me to wait for two hours for a five-min fix. As long as I live in Tallahassee, I will go to this shop for any car-related problem or regular car check-up. I highly recommend this shop.

I have done business with this business for over 25 years. They are very professional and only correct problems that need to be taken care of. If your brakes are only 50% worn they will let you know that you have many more miles on them and will not charge for bogus problems that do not exist. One of the few honest repair shops left in town.

Turned to Parkway Marine during the hurricane scare of 2017. The owner and his staff sold me and many others in the area, a new 3.7 kw generator made by Kohler. When people found out the price ($1,000) the false accusations began; Price Gouging! But, instead of becoming upset and shutting down like many businesses in the area had. Parkway Marine ordered more generators to help the community, not himself! I dont know if he ever got them sold because of the accusations online or not. But, I do know he didnt even make a decent profit on the generators. He wasnt selling them for big profits. I know because the manufacturer quoted my new generator a whole $20.00 less than I paid at PM. Oh yeah, shipping alone would have put it way over what I actually paid. I am totally against price gouging just like any other consumer.My point is to check things out properly before accusing someone of something you know very little about. Some people out there still conduct business the right way.Thanks again Parkway Marine, my Kohler rocks!

Parkway Car Care Center is a very clean shop with a very professional attitude about getting things right the first time. When you think of all the things on a car or truck that can break, it can be expensive, if you own a car that is at that breaking age. Quinn is not one to push repairs on you, if the car wont justify it. I like that.I also like having a car repair place I trust. Theyre not the cheapest repair place in town, and they are not the most conveniently located, but that doesnt seem to matter when you want your wheels rolling again. I would say you get honest work at an honest price.I also found out they can get any tires sold and install them for about the same price as the big discounters.
