One thing I like about Ace Hardware vs. the other big box stores is the really friendly, personal attention I get from their employees. This is especially true at my local Ace.

Terrible customer service. Even though I come in here quite a bit since it’s close to my house and spend money, they would not warranty out a craftsman hand tool now. I have done it multiple times at this location and just this morning they decided they do not do warranty’s anymore. Kinda crazy when they sell the tools and they had it in stock.. won’t be coming here anymore.

Spectacular super friendly staff. Helped me find exactly what I needed and they were incredibly pleasant. I rarely give 5 stars because I feel there is always room for improvement but I can find nothing in need of mention. I just moved north of town so I will pass by after work often. I will probably stop in again and again.

A nice ACE store, very well organized, and the staff there are generally very helpful and knowledgeable.While things might be slightly more expensive then if bought at Lowes or Home Depot you get a much quicker and closer shopping trip and is particularly good if you are working on a smaller scale home repair or improvement.

Ive stopped shopping at the big box home improvement stores primarily due to the lack of customer service. I have shopped several times at the Bannerman Ace Hardware and their selection and customer service is outstanding. Extrenly friendly and helpful staff. I stopped in the Ace Hardware on North Monroe today and I was kinda shocked at the customer service. The kid behind the counter (as a matter of fact he was leaning on the counter playing on his phone) and said something to be that I could not understand or hear. Didnt look up from his phone at all. The gentleman who helped me find the items I was looking for was great, very helpful. The kid from earlier checked me out and you can tell he didnt like his job, no greeting or no thank you at the end of the transaction. ( I wonder if he used to work at HD) North Monroe Ace could take some pointers from Bannerman Ace Hardware

Well each time Ive shopped this store the cashier seemed as though she would rather be somewhere else except there greeting customers. She only spoke to answer a question if at all. I have been forced to visit this store on 4 different occasions each time for plumbing supplies they have the worst and most disorganized inventory of basic plumbing supplies anywhere in tallahassee the Woodville ace hardware is like waltzing into heaven after leaving that hell I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone unless you lived next door and dont have a car bike or tennis shoes. And this a very reserved rating.

Sadly I am compelled to leave a poor review. The employees are generally helpful, however I just had a disappointing experience with who I think may have been the owner. I purchased a couple small items at the Ace across town (less than 24 hours earlier) and tried to return them at this location, only to be told that I wouldn’t receive the full price I paid for the return, even with a receipt. I realize the store policy, as each is independently owned, yet the Policy is not customer friendly. In addition, the manager/owner was condescending, spoke in an angry tone, and mansplained to me. I regularly support local businesses but will take my dollars elsewhere from now on. My primary issue isn’t with the policy itself but the poor treatment, and that the manager was willing to lose a formerly loyal customer over a few dollars.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful. They truly are a neighborhood store!

Service can vary. Very Good worker to customer ratio, warm greeting and good coupons. The selection is great and easy to navigate there over big box stores. The low ranking is due to recent run of inexplicably rude cashiers and one that was so bad My husband just left it all at the register and hes way calmer and nicer that Id be. The brunette punk rock cashier girl would not give him the valid coupon off then shed charged him for stuff hed put back, and argued disrespectfully and ganged up on him with another girl clerk. Really? I hope shes gone by now. I wish they were all as nice as the wonderful older bearded guy.

Most the employees here are always so rude. Every time I go, I remember why I said I’d stop shopping at this location.

Extremely slow service. I had to wait around 10 minutes while only me and one other customer were in the store. Two employees were on duty but only one even bothered to help and even then it was EXTREMELY slow .
