I wanted a small gold locket, with room for two photos, for a retirement gift. I found just what I needed at The GEM Collection. They also mounted the two small photos for me. It came in a butter yellow leather case, with nice wrapping paper. Very good service. For something of this expense I prefer a local jeweler so I can hold the item/see it in person, and ask questions before purchasing.

Had some jewelry took by there for an estimate to sell to Gem Collection and they were definitely way low on value, two other jewelerscame in twice as much, took them to another jeweler doubled my money, felt like I was in a pawn shop with that kind of price they offered. After I was told by another business the battery cover on one of watches was impossible to get off, I came into The Gem Collection. They were able to replace my watch battery at a more than fair price for the amount of work that went into finally getting the cover off. These guys saved me from having to go through my watch manufacturer to figure the situation out. The staff is very friendly and I didnt browse a whole lot, but their diamonds look incredible. Today I picked up rings that The Gem Collection had sized for me. The main stone was reset in one of the rings. My parents, who are gone now, bought these rings for me when I was young, so there is a lot of sentimental value attached to them. Now they fit again and look brand new. I went to Gem Collection on Tuesday of this week to purchase a Celtic cross that my cousin had purchased there. The cross has special meaning to me. My son had designed a Celtic cross that he had tattooed on his bicep when he was 17. He was killed in a car wreck when he was 23. At that time I purchased a diamond and ruby(his birthstone) pendant at Gem Collection in his honor. I asked Brian if they could incorporate the pendant in the cross. He told me they could but the jeweler was backed up until July 14th. Knowing what the piece meant to me, he talked to the jeweler and he called me this morning(3 days later) to let me know my piece was ready. I am so thrilled with how it turned out! It could not be more beautiful. I have been a loyal customer since 2011 and will never shop anywhere else for my jewelry needs. I have been very impressed with the Gem Collection, my older sister bought her wedding bands here a few years ago but I was skeptical buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend fearing that I would be met with disdain but upon walking in I was greeted right away with a smile and showed to the appropriate counter. Stopped into the Gem Collection on a whim, happened to notice they carried Pandora. As I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile, a friendly hello and asked if I would like a beverage. I asked to see the Pandora beads as I am a huge collector of them. They had the largest selection I have ever seen, other than in catalogs. The salesperson was patient, friendly and not pushy in any way. I had a hard time making a decision, but walked away with 2 of them. While I was there the sweet salesperson asked to clean my wedding ring (free) and brought it back looking as good as the day I put it on. What a WONDERFUL jewelry store. I also noticed they have some of the most unique diamond items I have ever seen and was told they can design any piece of jewelry to your specifications. Fabulous experience.

The Gem Collection doesnt offer the discounts than other out-of-town bigger stores do! You can buy a Rolex from a reputable dealer at a discount (yes Rolex dealers do offer discounts they dont want to loose the sale) and avoid to paying taxes. Buy from Rolex store in Atanta or New York and at least save the 7% tax you have to pay in Florida.

I read Vanessas review and I have to tell you that a F color grade is far better than a G color. F is colorless and G is near colorless. Also, if you paid only $20,000 for a 2.5 ct diamond you got a great deal. The people at the Gem Collection are friendly and honest. I dont know who told you that wasnt a good deal but they lied to you.
