My experiences with B&T is that every single time I brought in an item to be fixed, the performance would decrease, eventually not work and I would have take it back in. They never honored the issues with the items worked on and I had to pay again for it to be fixed. My worst experience was with my lawnmower. I had not had one issue in 10 years but the pull broke. They recommended that while they had it in that they do a full tune-up. It wasnt until after that I realized the extent of the tune-up in the astronomical price charged. A few months later, the mower just wouldnt crank. After taking it to another reputable place in town, I was told that it would take over $250 to repair. The work is very sub par and you will either have to take it to be repaired again or have to replace it completely after they fix it. I strongly recommend that you do not take anything to this business if you want it to either be fixed or continue working at optimal performance.Response to B&Ts reply today on 8/2/2018:The mower did in fact have the pull string replaced at B&T Small Engine Sales & Services previous to the mower having the 6/22/18 service.* It was after this service that I noted a decline in the mowers performance. When I took it in, it was recommended to do a tune-up. The price may have been disclosed somewhere behind the counter but I was never told the price up front. The pull string was never an issue after it was replaced. It was simply that the mower no longer would crank. This was my experience with my blower I took there as well. After one service, the performance would quickly decline and then die shortly thereafter.*A note about not finding records of the pull string being broken. On one occasion, when having repairs done at B&T Small Engine Sales & Service, their system was down. Thereafter, when I would go back to ask about the repair, they had to do an extensive search to find my item. Unfortunately, since their system was ‘down’, there was no record of what had been repaired. Perhaps this was one of those times.

I took my Honda lawn mower to B&T small engine repair and I was highly satisfied with the service and rate of pay. The staff were helpful kind and knowledgeable when I asked questions about my own lawnmower. I definitely will continue to go here to repair a mower or sharpen the mower blades. Thanks to B&T small engine repair my lawn looks great and I still have some cash leftover!

Locally owned and operated for over 35 years. You wont find better prices on outdoor lawn equipment, especially Bad Boy Zero-Turns. Service is good and your piece is always fired up and ran before it leaves with you. Proof that it would start and run correctly before it leaves the shop.

My experience with them was not great. I dropped my mower off to them and asked them to call before they did any repairs. I did not receive a phone call form them until my mower was supposedly fixed, I paid the price that they asked. Once I got my mower home and started to mow my lawn it begin to start smoking. I took it back to them to check out the problem, the guy at the front counter wrote n/c ( no charge) on the paper. I get a phone call saying my mower is ready and once I got there the same guy is saying I owe them 27.00 for their services. How does it go from no charge to 27.00? I told him Im not paying that price. Then he said bottom line if you want your mower back its 27.00. After I told him you dont have to worry about me doing business here again, I was told 10.00. I paid the 10.00 which I feel I shouldnt of had to pay to get my mower back.I will not do business with them again.

Held on to my push mower for a week and a half, called with an estimate, and after giving them the go-ahead to do the work as quoted, they called to let me know that they werent able to find the parts they needed because it was a Chinese engine. Fair enough. I thought that it was strange that they werent able to find common parts for a common manufacturer that makes professional and homeowner mowers, so I decided to look for myself online. To my surprise, I was able to find the part in 30 seconds, using only the web browser on my cell phone... Turns out that taking my mower to B&T was a waste of time, although I do have a better idea of what needs to be done, and they didnt charge me.

Spent over $100 to have repair done with new parts. Got home and realized nothing had been done. Literally nothing. Not exaggerating. Not one piece of grime or debris had moved. Suffers exactly the same problem as when I dropped it off. No explanation, no refund, no apology, nothing. Not worth going to court, and court would cost at least as much as I spent. Never having any contact with this hole again.

Was told on Friday Sept 8,2017 BEFORE the hurricane that all they were working on were generators. I took mine in hoping it would be done by Saturday. The owner NEVER stated they are not open on Saturdays. So even if thats normal I would have expected them to state that information or be open just to finish the repairs on the generators that didnt get done on the Friday. So I guess Ill get it when its not needed and NEVER step in there again for anything

Paid them to clean and rebuild carb. mower didnt run right after 2 mows. then took the carb off myself and it was all gummed up inside. gunk all over it, cleaned myself, and runs perfect now. its like they did nothing but maybe sprayed some carb cleaner into intake. had a flat tire. i asked if you can do a tube. they said need new tire. 50 bucks plus 25 install. and tire still flat. pinhole leak in wheel. 10 dollar tube took care of it!
