The place is clean, well lighted, the prices are very reasonable. They even give you the first month for free. The people are very professional and friendly. A place that I can recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and nice storage place.

Since Storage changed companies from Cube Smart to Prime Storage I have seen great improvements of fabulous customer service from Frank and Jordan. They are very efficient they contact you when necessary and work with you via phone or in person for all your needs. With the new management in place and a good working team I feel comfortable renting storage with them.

When they took over Cube Smart they cut my lock and placed theirs on. Even though my account was current. They had put their locks on all thr units until you signed the new paperwork. Once I signed the new contract they attempt to increased the price of my $75 storage to about $130 after two month. There was nothing you could I could do because my card was on file. Even though the new agreement I signed was for the same unit size and same proce. I had to remove all my belongings and canceled my agreement. VERY shady business practices.

While in storage, our household items became invested with roaches causing us to have to dispose of many items due roach residue. Contacted customer service, and was informed that they were not responsible. What items could be salvaged, we quickly moved. For the amount of money we paid monthly, I expected better service - many lessons learned.

Incompetent staff and terrible customer service. I moved out of my unit two months ago and mistakenly forgot to remove the lock from my unit the day that I moved. I have tried to resolve this through email and MULTIPLE phone calls to to the facility. I cant be the first person to forget a lock on a storage unit. I was told by Destiny on multiple occasions that she was unable to get the form that I needed from her management. I just received a phone call that I am being turned over to collections for an empty storage unit that I have been trying to resolve for over two months. Worst experience with a business ever.

Where to start.....I make an online reservation to rent a storage unit one week before move-in....had a call every single day to confirm the reservation and to come in sign the lease agreement....every day for a week I got a phone call. I made it clear that I was not able to sign and would be in Saturday morning to sign and move in (3/6/21) between 8:30 and 9:30am.I get another call Friday, 3/5 to confirm...so i proceed to confirm the times I would be able to sign and move now, mind you, that confirmation was 16-17 hours before signing and my needed move in times.....So....the day has arrived. I arrive at the N. Monroe location at 8:45am on 3/6....ready to sign, unload, and grab more items and they are locked down and not open. 8:50..no one there. 9am...no one there. 9:15am....no one there....now mind you, I was ensured that they open at 8:30am and would be happy to see me that early. 9:25am......Im out the there.Now...after waiting for over 30 minutes....I leave. I am forced to spend the next three hours looking for another unit some where else (that would fit my needs)....I live in Tallahassee, where 4 universities worth of students have returned.....a task that is not so easy.Finally...I get a call about 1pm asking if I am ready to come in and sign.....Not only has their poor customer service cost me more money for a unit, this new unit is literally 10 miles out of my way....(see next review of that storage unit and their customer service)Do NOT trust a company that cannot follow-up on a confirmation that THEY confirmed.

The website quoted first month free and showed reduced pricing for online. When I arrived at the location at 9:45 (which was reported to open at 9:30am,) no one was in the office.The number on the door was an 800 number which I called. I was put on hold while the manager was called, the customer service person told me the manager said it was his day off but if I could wait 20 minutes he would come to the location.Since I had already completed the online reservation I stayed. When the manager arrived, he told me I was in the wrong place, their office was around the corner and they had not moved into this office yet. I suggested they put a sign on the door to inform customers where to go.I made my way to the official office only to be greeted by an unprofessional, unkempt employee. I was told that I should have called the location directly and had to point out to her that only the 800 number was on the door. After this frustrating start I was informed that the promo was either or which was not what the website indicated. Then I was told I would have to pay $25 admin fee...when asked what that fee covered and was told setting up the account and access to the building, that is like a hotel charging for a key to a room that you are already paying for.I was then told I had to pay for insurance, when I asked what the insurance covered the employee said I dont know . Upon asking many questions she finally said it was to cover my belongings so that if something happened I could not hold them responsible.I left, called the 800 number and was told that due to all the problems I had they were requesting that I be given the unit I reserved with the first month free and the online pricing. I got a call from the location approximately 4 hrs later (after I rented from another business) saying they would not give the unit as recommended by the customer service office.These people are a big RIP off, use bait and switch to get you in then pile on the extra charges. I got the same size unit for less money. Stay away from these people.

Property and new office is very clean! Ishmael made my experience smooth and easy while renting a storage unit. He provided me with all the information I need to go online and pay, even let me use a moving cart. Very nice gentlemen.

This maybe the worse experience I have ever had dealing with any business in my life (and I’m 56). Please, for your own safety and sanity, DO NOT do business with these people. Local management is terrible, District management is terrible and the corporate office/customer service really wants nothing to do with any problems and keeps sending you back to the local level. I assure you that nobody will tell you the truth and then completely deny the things they told you or blame it on others. If I could have given negative stars I would have.

Just helped my boyfriend move out of his climate controlled unit on the third floor to bring his stuff to Orlando and in the process we found rat poop on everything and in bags with clothing. The rodents had chewed holes through the bag and a few boxes. There weren’t any push carts. They only had a piece of wood with wheels on the bottom and two carts with wheels with what seemed like big plastic laundry bins set on top. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Luckily we had cleaning supplies with us to clean off the plastic bins that majority of the stuff was stored in. I don’t know if there is a Life Storage facility in Tallahassee but if there is go there instead. I’ve had three units with them in three years in different states and the customer service and facilities are amazing!

It was an alright experience. I did get a unit, but what I didn’t like is that when I got there, the unit available for me was damaged and instead of accommodating me due to it being an issue on my end, they charged me extra. Also, the lady didn’t know where the unit was, so we did walk around for like 5 minutes going in circle until we finally found it. Also, the door on the outside of the unit is broken, which I will be contacting them tomorrow (04/15/2019) to see what the issue is with that. The unit that they were originally giving me did not have A/C on that floor, which I did express my concern with that. I would recommend if you’d like somewhere more secure, friendly and organized, go else where.

Was referring a family member to A Dent in the Attic and saw the previous review. I dont typically write reviews, but felt compelled to leave a note about our experience. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we had the opposite experience. This is the cleanest storage facility we have been to, and weve been customers for over 3 years. Yes, they have new management, but it has only made the facility even better. Weve only experienced the sidewalk gate open during office hours when staff is there so new customers can get to the office and the door can be propped open so you can move your items in and out easier, but it doesnt stay propped open. We got along with the previous management, but there was some activities that werent our taste. The new management has cleaned it up so that I feel entirely comfortable even taking my kids at any hour to access our unit. I would definitely recommend you visit A Dent in the Attic and see for yourself.

This place is fine if you never have any issues with your unit or especially with the finicky lock they require you to use on their climate controlled units.But if you ever have an issue, dont expect them to help you in any timely way. Twice weve had issues with a key getting stuck in one of those locks, and twice theyve been unable or unwilling to rectify the situation with the lock until it is convenient for them. It is currently Saturday at 10:15 AM. Due to the failure of their lock, we are unable access our storage unit until their maintenance folks come to work on Monday.So much for 24 Hour access.

I had a small bin for more than 3 years where I stored work, books, memorabilia, files and some art. When I went to clear it out (got free space elsewhere), I found that a sealed box that I had stored by the back wall of the unit was damp, completely rotted, and infested with hundreds of tiny, hideous white worms. The box was stuck to the floor and disintegrated when I tried to pry it up. The priceless and irreplaceable memorabilia I had stored inside was infested with worms and ruined. I noted that the concrete on the floor of the unit did not reach the back wall (became dirt) and a long crack opened directly to outside. (Hence the dampness.) I took pictures of the ruined box and damaged surfaces of the unit and was told by the manager that she would make a note. She also said that Dent in the Attic was not responsible for any damage to the contents of the bin and was quick to produce her CYA evidence. Not even an apology - I guess that would have implied culpability. I paid close to $3,000 to Dent in the Attic to keep my possessions safely stored. At a minimum, they should keep the units properly sealed and dry and if they fail to do so, their claim to no responsibility for bin contents goes right out the window. I cannot replace what was lost even but I can warn others that they will happily take your money for years on end but will assume no responsibility to bin contents even if damage is their fault.

I stored my furniture here for two years while I moved home for nursing school. When I went to move out I found my unit covered in rodent feces and urine. Rats chewed through all of my wooden furniture. They claim they use Orken for pest control but I am left with all of my ruined belongings. If zero stars were an option here they would receive it. When I approached the office I was greeted with rudeness and gruffness if how its all my problem. Wow. DO NOT STORE YOUR THINGS HERE!!!

Recommend! 100%Not only is the staff polite but professional as well which is an important factor!Our experience here was fantastic, Climate controlled units were perfect, NO HUMIDITY! No nasty bugs, & no hassle. Over sized elevator! Flatbed carts, rolling containers, dollys, all sorts of handy tools to utilize while moving all your heavy over sized belongings in! Also they offer their moving truck free with some regulations attached. The staff does a daily walk thru to ensure everythings locked up safe.Very secure facility. Gated entrances and secured individual key codes for granted entry. 24 hour access! Over all the best experience of all the storage facilities in Tallahassee. If youre looking for a great place to take care of all your storage needs, visit these guys! Youd regret not checking them out for yourself!

Renters beware. Its under new management and they are not polite to the say the least. The place is nasty. Plenty of other places who are willing to keep up their facility. They say it is gated and climate control remains locked, but anyone can walk through using the sidewalk and the door is left propped open. We left after having enough of the nastiness.

Met someone here to retrieve something from a storage unit and was met with suspicious behavior. The staff came out to the parking lot to watch me in my car while I waited for my acquaintance to arrive so we could enter together. Nothing that I was doing warranted such behavior, and when I got out of my car to ask if something was wrong, I was given a snarky response by the multiple employees who were obviously watching me sit innocently in my car for the five minutes I had been there. I was treated inappropriately and with suspicion for nothing more than doing business here. Wont be coming back.
