As always, shopping at Publix makes grocery shopping enjoyable. The employees are always smiling, friendly, and eager to help you. The selection and quality of food is top-notch and their prices are a good deal (especially when they have bogo!). Im also so glad they ripped up those ridiculous directional floor stickers and ditched the completely useless, theatrical mask requirement.

Another five star Publix very busy though. Scored some fried chicken in there and as usual it was top notch. Even better I bought a scratch off lottery ticket and won $100 unbelievable! Publix is the best place to buy scratch offs I seem to always win there.

I needed a cake for our son’s wedding rehearsal party, and I called Publix. They came through with flying colors. I live in Ohio and I did everything by phone or email with a young lady named Robin from the bakery department. She was fantastic and did everything I asked her to do with a smile on her face. The cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you!

This store is way more expensive than one on Neptune. I asked manager why he said they price by zip code. I guess Britton area is more than beach park? Makes no sense.

People that work there are very rude. The cashier I had was at the express. I stood in a regular line for about 10 mins before going to the express. I had 13 items. Yes, 3 over the ten. They had only two registers open and two express. The lady told me to get my stuff off the belt after she literally counted them and go to another register. I told her that the line was long and had been in line for a while and everyone has a full cart. She said she did not care and that I need to get my stuff and go. I refused as no one was behind me. She turn to the cashier next to her and told her, this is why I hate express register because people think they can do whatever they want. I said wow, that was rude. After all of this fussing, I could have been out of there if she would had just done her job and dont complain especially in front of the customer. I believe her. Ame was candy or something like that. She was a older lady. Then as she was Ringing my stuff a lady came up and put her stuff down and the cashier counter her stuff and she had 11 items. She told her no, get your stuff and go to a regular register. You have over ten and this lady (calling me out) had more than 10 and refused to go. So the lady said the same thing as myself. This cashier needs not to work with customers and not at publix. I expect better service than what I had. She was just rude!

Publix is great but a bit pricy. Decent meats, fish and deli. Checkout is usually quick as some clerks realize I have to take a bus as Im 3/4 blind with red tip cane and on a tight schedule.

A grocery store is a grocery store, right?!?! Wrong, these folks go out of their way to help and if they dont have something you truly want, they will order it. Great place but it is all about the staff!

This has to be my 2nd favorite publix in Tampa. Everything is as it should be. Its clean and in a convenient location. The only reason its my 2nd favorite because it doesnt have a self checkout section. Other than that. The store is great.

This is my original Publix when I first moved to Tampa from Alexandria, VA back in 2007. Even though the Gandy one was closer, it seems like I shopped your most. Always enjoy this store. One of the worst Publix I’ve been to in recent months, sad to say that Publix is on a downward trajectory with their service. They are getting too big to care and becoming the next Walmart with their terrible service. They can no longer justify their very high prices for the lack of quality and service. DO NOT DO INSTACART HERE. The employees have no clue what they are doing and provide abysmal service. No longer going to shop at Publix due to so many issues.

Decent place, quick in and out for a grab and go sandwich. Long line for a PubSub. Use Publix on Gandy at Manhattan as theirs is a better setup.

This Publix did a fantastic job on my daughters 10 birthday cake we found a design online we liked and Publix recreated just perfectly!!

Almost always a premier experience shopping at Publix especially the store at Britton Plaza. The produce dept is very well stocked and fresh when we visit. The produce manager, Joe Brooks maintains an excellent department with quality produce and variety. He must have had some incredible training from his first days in produce and on his way up the ladder. Great guy too. Always friendly and helpful. He has a number of associates working there that are always eager to help. Two that come to mind are Graham and Joel. Those two guys will be great managers some day because they also exemplify superior customer service skills and friendly demeanors. Im sure they have had awesome training from their leaders as well both past and present. It is a pleasure to shop at this store and they have all made shopping there an even bigger pleasure. Thank you!!!!!!!

All Publix stores are about the same. Great customer service and no problem to break a package to get only what you need.

Bagger overstuffed my bags. My chips were crushed when I got home as well as my bread being smashed. I had to use a bag i had in the car to double bag as the bag was stuffed and heavy. I think the baggers can use a little instruction in how to better bag.

Nicest Publix in Tampa until the one off Gandy opened up. Plenty of selection, super friendly staff (even by Publix standards), and always stocked.

Went grocery shopping here yesterday and I absolutely love that they sell chick fila sauces! All of them. 16oz too and the customer service here is top tier! I got lost in the store. I had to practice live skills to stop shopping lol

Sure its not as fancy as the new Commons store. And yes, its a bit farther than the Gandy/Himes store. But theres one thing that it has over both the other stores. The happiest, most courteous staff. And for this reason I always return.

Prices have gone through the roof,the average senior citizen can not afford to shop there.

All I can say is I just doesnt matter where you are publix is just fantastic at any one you go to the staff are just wonderful

Not our usual Publix we shop at had to go to the pharmacy. But all employees including pharmacist were very friendly like a small town store.

Publix staff is always helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile. Try even finding an employee at Walmart, much less one who would check in the back, or escort you to an aisle. I shop the BOGOs and specials to stock up on items I keep on hand. Many employees stay at their jobs for years, and that speaks volumes. Pharmacy is also amazing. It’s always nice to be greeted by name knowing they have hundreds of customers. Thanks always for a clean, organized, friendly place for this cook to shop.

Terrific store excellent selection a lot better laid out then other Publix that I have been too. Many of them are congested. This one is not and its really easy to find things. This one has Singleton 22-oz cans of beer which a lot of Publix dont hope this helps people reading this.

I usually like this Publix majority of the time. However that wasnt the case for tonights visit. I went there to buy 2 8pc boxes of their Fried Chicken which I love, unfortunately when I got to they only had one 8pc that had been cooked nearly 2hrs prior. Mind you it was still marked at full price and when I asked one of the Deli associates if they were gonna be making more or can I please order another 8pc I was told NO that they werent making anymore chicken tonight. Which puzzled me because Im pretty sure when a customer request or would like to order something from the deli while they are still open then I believe they are supposed to make it. I understand if they had already closed down the fryer and whatnot I wouldnt even have asked but they were just got done with Rush they were trying to clean up and didnt want to make anymore due to the fact that that would slow their closing process down so unfortunately tonight they get knocked back down to 2 stars for that reason so anybody from the Publix and Breton Plaza with any of authority reads this you might want to retrain or go over proper procedure for when a customer orders food while they are still open that they are supposed to make that food. So I didnt argue with anyone instead I left and went to the Publix on Gandy who was also out of chicken but they offered to make me some right then and made my order after I said yes. So Thanks Gandy Publix. Keep up the good customer service.
