From the very beginning, they were very easy to work with. We were very impressed with their advanced technology especially their laser measurement system and their layout system. Their layout system showed us how they proposed cutting the slab to artfully display the veining of the quartzite we chose so we could approve how it looked before they cut it. They were even able to make our L shaped counter in one piece without a seam. The installers were very clean and quick. We highly recommend AGS Stone.

We used AGS stone to replace our kitchen counters. From the initial appointment through installation, we had a wonderful experience. Alex was always available to answer questions and to provide guidance. I used AGS to install my kitchen, and bathroom countertops. For the quality and price AGS they are unbeatable. Their customer service were awesome. Kathy, and Alex made the transaction seamlessly. I found AGS Stone by accident, after driving an hour to visit one of their competitors. The competitor gave us the impression they didnt want to be bothered and even quoted us prices that were double what their website stated. Feeling disappointed me and my husband decided to seek out other Stone companies in the area so it wasnt a wasted trip. As we got in our car we noticed AGS right next door, and figured we should start there. We were greeted by Jackie and she showed us around before taking us out to look at the remnants. Delighted with AGS Stone. My daughter found it in Google while we were in the area so we stopped in and met Kathy King. She helped us find the perfect quartz to go with the cabinets. I wouldnt have picked Sparkling White on my own, so I am glad Kathy thought of it when she saw our blue green island color because it has tiny flecks of blue green glass and a hint of sparkle throughout that works perfectly.The measuring and installation went well, even with our oversized piece.I would recommend AGS Stone to anyone looking for countertops for either kitchen or bathroom and their display of cabinets, handles, sinks and faucets really helped us figure out what we wanted.

A G S Stone is a family owned and operated in Tampa Florida off of highway 60 6915 East adamo drive spectacular showrooms state of the art facility I will do more business with them this is not your ordinary kitchen and bathroom cabinet shop facility every one of the employees bring something to the table and the majority of them or house mechanics nothing beyond repair

They have some really unique slabs however they have the highest prices. The biggest reason we did not chose them is because of all the assessorial fees. This is the only place we found that charges a fee for every sink cutout including holes for vessel sinks. Theyre not competitive and not willing to negotiate.

Cant imagine finding any better company to work with. Top of the line for workmanship, employees, products, ideas, communication and service. Fairly priced on top of it all.Sometimes the proof of having an excellent company to work with is their response when things dont go right. An L shaped piece of granite cracked during installation. AGS took care of the situation beautifully. Two days later a newly fabricated piece was installed at no extra cost to us. Im certain they lost money on our project, but all they did was apologize over and over for us being inconvenienced (and we really werent).Highly recommend.

I dont usually write reviews but I just had to after the amazing experience my husband and I had with AGS Stone of Tampa. From the minute we walked through the door until our beautiful new granite counter tops were installed, we were greatly impressed. They are a family run business and we worked with Jackie through most of the process. She is wonderful. We found her and the company to be knowledgeable, honest, reliable, and very responsive. These traits are hard to find these days. She worked with us to find the perfect stone within our budget. What seemed overwhelming to me went very smoothly and timely.The installers are not sub-contractors but are employees of AGS. They were very professional and did a perfect job. It was all done in less than four hours including removal of our old counter tops, and we have a large kitchen. There are only two seams, placed inconspicuously on the huge surface, and the patterns blend perfectly.We could not be happier and highly recommend AGS Stone. Dont waste your time looking anywhere else.

August 28th, 2020, I made an appointment and was able to go in and discuss cabinetry options, colors, and quartz/granite options. This went smoothly. I was told I would hear from his brother about building out the project. I emailed Alex, who I originally met with, and waited a few days with no reply. I called and got a hold of Alex,, and he told me it would be two weeks to hear from his brother. Again, I waited, and again didnt hear back. I then called a 3rd time, got the actual owner, and was told im so sorry, let me get to the bottom of this and we will call you back.Never heard from them. Very disappointing that it took me three times to call, and still no help.

AGS Stone was great to work with. Their price was very fair and the final product was perfect. The sales reps, template reps. stone prep, and installers were very good at what they do. They even saved me some money by pointing me to a stone warehouse that had the slabs that I wanted on sale. Saved me almost $2K. The whole process was professional and looks great. Extremely professional staff and crew!! The project was a flip house with a strict budget and their finished product (all the way through to install) was far superior than I’d expected for a mid grade granite we chose. Most companies take the money, millIt, drop it in place and forget about any type of follow up. AGS was on top of it from the first hand shake and made sure to check in during the process as well as after install.. Will certainly use AGS again. Our experience with AGS was extremely disappointing. We selected them to craft and installed 3 thin slabs of porcelain on the front of a fireplace feature wall. The template they made was not exact, so the cut product is not installed properly. There are raw edges of drywall exposed (which should have be covered by the porcelain) and the right side slab isnt cut to fit properly into its space. Rather than stopping the install, they forced the slab into place; this caused it to rise slightly from the wall. Once the adhesive dried, the fact that the slabs are not lying in the same plane means that a shadow is cast on the surface of the wall that is clearly visible. In addition, they sanded down sections of the porcelain to make it fit, leaving edges that were curved rather than a 90 degree angle. They came back and attempted to fix the problems by adding bright white epoxy to the joint lines; the right line is now more noticeable, and the left line is half white/half grey (they said that, because that line is not the same width from the top to the bottom, they were only able to fill in half of it with the epoxy; now that line is two different colors). They also left epoxy in numerous areas on the surface that reflected whenever light hit it, and stood in sharp contrast to the matte porcelain. They had to come back a third time to try to remove it and still left some that we now have to attempt to remove. On that third visit, someone came out to look at it who told us that this job is within industry standards. We went so far as to suggest we would pay for another porcelain slab if they would redo it, this time using spacers and grout like it should have been done in the first place. He led us to believe that he would try to work something out to make us happy; yet after he left, he said they refused to do anything because they didnt think they could make us happy. What they really mean is that they dont have faith in their craftsmanship to do the job correctly. They claim that, because we signed off on the job the day it was originally finished, then we have no recourse. This means that they do not stand behind their work, especially since the problems were not immediately noticeable until that evening when the sun started to go down and the adhesive was fully dry. If you are looking to use porcelain, do not use AGS.

Our entire experience with AGS Stone was exemplary. Each phase of the process was marked by professionalism, courtesy, expertise, punctuality, service, and finally a quality product. From initial customer contact/sales to assistance with contact at the granite supplier to measurement for the template to delivery and installation of a quality product, AGS Stone is everything for which one could ask in a contractor.

If you are in the market for granite do yourself a favor and go into AGS Stone in Tampa. This is a family run business that really cares about their customers. They do excellent work and certainly are masters at the trade. We have done 4 projects with them over the years and have never been disappointed. They completed another project for me last week and again I was just thrilled at the professionalism, quality and final product.

AGS Stones staff and treatment was exceptional. I worked with Kathy who from the get go had a warm, helpful and wonderful demeanor. We went into the store and met with Alex who was friendly and helpful. Once we had our house plans drawn up and were ready to move forward with getting an estimate and working with AGS Stone, we emailed Alex with all the info. No response was ever received. A month later we called Alex and he looked up our email and was very apologetic for not responding. He said they never drop the ball like that and promised to get us our quote that week or at the latest the following. No response received. Approximately 3 weeks later, we tried one last time to call and inquire. We spoke with a lady at the store who said Alex was busy but would relay the message for him to call us back. Took our contact info. No call back. We were very much looking forward to getting our counter tops and possibly cabinetry from AGS Stone. As fate would have it, were glad it didnt work out as we ended up finding what we wanted at 30% less from a quality company with great staff.

AGS installed a bar and counter in an outdoor kitchen that I was building. So that this is a fair and accurate review, I will say that there were some measuring issues that caused them to have to rebuild the bar (otherwise would have been a 5-star rating). But the more important point is that THEY DID! Likely at a loss as well. They didn’t give up and my job stayed at the top of the heap while they rectified the issue. During the final installation, they spent probably 2 man hours on 2 seams totaling 30 inches. They are about as invisible as they can possibly be. The match between the joined granite pieces is beautiful. The installers (Johnnie and Jacob) were knowledgeable, resourceful, and completely dedicated to the most minute of details. They left the work area clean and the granite was glowing! I would definitely recommend them.

The team at AGS Stone was knowledgeable, helpful and paid attention to the details. They took time to show us our options and help us design what we wanted with our counter tops. They came out and did a template of the counter tops we needed, then we went in and met with the artisan stone cutter who guided us in laying the templates on the actual pieces of stone so that we got the granite patterns we liked best in the most visible areas of the counter tops. He made sure to put the seams where they would be the least visible and did an excellent job matching the seams up on both sides of the seam. Our granite counter tops are truly a work of art.

Very expensive and because no discounts were offered I expected a lot more. Installation was sloppy. A mess was left on the floor and under the counters. Tiles were chipped that were not brought to our attention, we noticed after they left. Crew made a mistake measuring bathroom faucets which caused a problem with the drain. Instead of making it right the owner Gary Rogers charged me for pop ups. In one room they did not even clean or seal the granite, I had to call them back to make it right. The damage to the walls to install the granite was excessive. I can understand some paint being scratched but this crew was careless and it showed. The caulking around the kitchen sink was not done properly, my husband had to redo it. Needless to say, I was not happy. This was a very expensive remodel; $9,000 when all was said and done. Maybe that is not a lot of money to AGS but it is to me. They were initially so nice and accommodating. After the work was done and paid for the communication and friendliness stopped. Mr. Rogers left me a strange voice mail to discuss supposed issues. There were no supposed issues and I did not appreciate that nor his condescending attitude. I sent him an e-mail and told him that I was too upset to talk about it over the phone which I was and that he knew my complaints. I never heard from him or his wife (who I primarily dealt with) again. Though the granite is beautiful my personal experience with AGS was sub standard.

AGS Stone just completed a remodel project with new granite countertops for our kitchen and master bathroom. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship of AGS. Our project was somewhat complex so adherence to schedule and attention to detail was critical. AGS sent experienced installers who worked diligently until every element of the job met our complete satisfaction. Throughout the process we found communications to be accurate and timely. The Rogers family does a great job of insuring that things go smoothly. The guys in the shop know the business and perform at a high level adding to customer satisfaction. We would definitely use AGS again.

These folks are great. They helped us pick coordinating tile, mosaics and counter tops the first trip. We had been to all the box stores and tile stores in Brandon and none of them were helpful and their products are no where near the quality of AGS’s. AGS’s installers are some of the most professionals I’ve seen in the industry, and over the years with the remodeling we’ve done, I’ve seen many. Highly, highly recommend these guys. We were building our own home and definitely needed some good, solid advice and that is what we received when we ended up at AGS Stone after visiting many other granite yards and fabricators. My husband is a contractor so he knows quality when he sees it and knows the truth when he hears it. AGS was spot on in helping us choose the right material for each room in our house and then allowing us to come in to lay the templates out right on the slabs where we wanted them to be cut. AGS Stone was wonderful, from the moment you walk in the door to the day your granite is installed. We where shown different slabs of granite which we tried to find the best match to our cupboards. Did not feel rushed at all when looking at the different colors and characters in each slab. When we picked out what we wanted, spoke to the fabricator and told him what we liked best in the slab. He made sure we had exactly what we wanted. When it came to installing the workers that came where very respectful and treated my home with care. Could not ask for better service. Would recommend this company to anyone. The prices are a little higher than others, but worth it for all the care and treatment you receive with this company.

We thought AGS would be a good place to start, our neighbors also commented on their quality of service, (Thanks, Jeff and Candi)....well Kathy and Jackie were both very helpful and to my surprise they recommended other places to look for stone!We selected our stone, they came and measured our counters then sent us a planned layout and it was great.....well the day came for the scheduled installation, Bob and Hector arrived On time....two great guys that work well together I must say.The counters and sink were installed without a hitch, all went according to plan. They look Beautiful and we could not be more pleased! I even got up at 2 in the morning to admire them again as they look so good.

We had used AGS Stone for another renovation project in St. Pete, so when it was time to do some remodel work on my own kitchen, I didnt hesitate to go back to them. Jackie was an enormous help, as usual and spent lots of time with me in choosing just the right granite, even bringing cabinet samples to the slabs to help with selection. I never felt rushed or pushed. Her help was very appreciated! The granite was installed and looked great. However, after several days I noticed some darkening on the light colored granite. I called AGS right away and they had a consultant back to my home to assess the stone. They sealed it again and it is now stain-free! I like a company who stands by their work and AGS Stone will do this. I refer them now to all my friends.

Wonderful sales people. Everyone was accommodating and once the stone had been templated, it was installed in less than a week. This was wonderful as it was right around the holidays. LOVED my experience. Installers were fast and on time!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jackie and her staff at AGS Stone. She is extremely knowledgeable and made the entire process easy. Her staff was always on time, professional, and never hesitated to answer our questions. In truth, you might be able to find granite at a lower cost but she really took the time to educate me on how other companies are able to provide the material at the lower rates (think lower quality stone, glue, and broken bits). She gave my wife and I a tour of their facility and allowed us to see the entire process from slab selection to polish. They only use higher quality stone which was evident throughout their operation. The folks at AGS have a real passion for their business and it is always refreshing to work with people so committed to excellence. We recently contracted AGS Stone to do our granite installation for our new kitchen remodel. We were referred to AGS by our in-laws, we were treated with respect and professionalism from day one. I took me about 3 weeks to finish the kitchen before we could have them out to template. They provided us with a timeline and were able to get the job completed well within the timeline.I work for a general contractor and have a few granite companies we deal with, but when it came to our house, we went with the recommendation of a family member. It was the best decision we made, we couldnt be happier with the work and will recommend AGS to anyone that is looking for granite.
