Great Mojitos an Awesome Cigar!

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly, mixed, upscale. Hand rolled cigars and great humidor.

I was in Ybor City last week and was in the mood for a cigar. I had tried a few of the many cigar shops on 7th before but wasnt too impressed. I dropped by mid afternoon to check out Ybor Cigars to see what they offered. I was glad I stopped by to check them out.Its a small place with a nice little bar area, and few tables inside and out front, and a well stocked walk in humidor. I went in and selected a nice cigar and decided to hang out and enjoy my smoke. Cigar prices were OK and they had a nice variety made from tobacco from various countries.I met Dania who was working the bar. She is an extremely nice lady and we had a good conversation since the place was empty. About half way through my cigar, some tourists came in and ordered a round of mojitos.As I watched Dania make them, I realized that I had never had a mojito. I asked Dania to make me one as well. The mojito was amazing. I ended up ordering a second and ended up hanging out front to do some people watching. It was a nice way to spend a lazy afternoon..

We had a great time here! The mojitos were AMAZING! Our bartender was lovely and made a great drink! She was very helpful with the cigars also! Met some nice people from the same place my father-in-law is from as well, and they all had a good time playing PR dominos. She put our dollars up above the bar and we signed the wall! We look forward to going back if in the area again!

Very comfortable and chill spot. The barista was helpful and knowledgeable about the cigars and made great mojitos. Air conditioning and you can smoke inside. Highly recommended.

A fun place to stop on a quick trip into town to pass the time while on an overlay at the airport. A wide array of mojito and cigar options with a fun vibe where our server helped us quickly experience the heart and soul of Ybor City in only a few hours. This is a must visit if you go.

Brought some family in as they were exploring Ybor for cigars. We decided to get shots and were offered tequila. Super smooth so we decided to purchase a couple of bottles to take back home. We were told that this was a house special and purchased the bottles for $55 a piece. When we were able to look the bottle up online we found it for $14, normally priced. Just be cautious before you purchase. Extremely high mark up.

While visiting the Clearwater and Tampa area I took the trolley to Ybor City. I saw several cigar shops with employees rolling cigars in the window. I smoked one, bought several and enjoyed a nice cuban coffee. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Late opening was posted as opening at 11 am, but didnt open till almost noon. Lady in charge of cigars didnt arrive till 12:15, but man who opened was very helpful but didnt speak english very well. We got the cigars purchased. Everything went well. I would return, but I would phone my order in a day ahead.

Truly a relaxing atmosphere with superb staff giving you Mojitos that will quench your tastebuds to the upmost. The cigars are nice, rich with flavor, and excellent on your pocket.

Had business associates in town who wanted to go to an authentic Latin/Cuban music bar that wasnt a nite club. This turned out to be a perfect spot. Small, good music, to y little dance floor if you want to dance, friendly crowd.

I ordered 25 cigars a couple of weeks back. When they arrived I noticed that they were dry and hard, smokable, but not the quality I expected. I then received an email from YCP asking how my order was. I told them. Their exact words were, “No, that is not acceptable, we will take care of it”. I wasn’t real sure what that meant. What it meant was that they were going to replace the entire order, all 25 sticks.I understand that things happen, mistakes can be made. What sets businesses apart is how they handle making it right. Ybor Cigar Plus made it right without hesitation, hell, without me asking them to. I will forever be a customer and make sure all my smoking and golfing buddies know who takes care of me.FYI - The Robusto two colors are AWESOME!

I get them local here but beware...they tend to tunnel and sometimes the outer wrapper is loose which wrecks the whole cigar. Great quality for value/price but Damn, they should not do this! Pic is after the outer wrap came loose and I smashed it out.

Love this place. Came to Tampa on a business trip and found myself ending every night smoking a nice cigar and drinking some whiskey for about $15. Great atmosphere, music and service

Amazing music bar

Not recommended at all ...the bartenders dont have any idea how to make mix drinks..if you stop by go safe an order a beer otherwise you would be disappointed.The regular customers would harrassed the tourist and the owner lady would allow it.All in all a dangerous place to go with your family.Be really careful there is no security or bouncer and the patron would always take the local customers side.I would give them 0.

Best Mojitos in the Tampa Bay area! This place never disappoints, the live band was a lot of fun and so was the DJ. Its an intimate venue for those who enjoy dancing to Latin music!

I came here on a special occasion with a few friends, and we were met with a friendly conversation with the woman working, we purchased about 10-15 cigars in total and I have to say the quality is authentic, they have everything you need to have a good time with the guys, (alcohol, hookah, music, decor like club lights, and of course, cigars) and a sense of being welcome in late night ybor city, which is not easy to find. Id come back.

Great place to come and have a cigar and a mojito after eating. Especially Saturday nights live music and an awesome DJ spinning everything from salsa, bachata, reggaeton to trap music. The place gets packed with people dancing and drinking. Its like a mini club without the cover charge at the door.

Everyone is always friendly but its pretty expensive for Ybor.

Bad cigar quality. Bought first one, after a few puffs, came unraveled. Went back and complained. They took the cigar and offered me a second cigar. Kept going out, poorly made. Recommend going to Long Ash across the street. Better quality for a better price

Picked myself up some of the finest cigars I have ever smoked. Get a selection of current cigars as the ones that live on the shelf in packaging is for the tourists with 150 buck in their pockets.

They put an entire sprig of mint in each mojito, and spend about 4 minutes making them. Great cigar selection in a walk in humidor. Enough said.

Seriously phenomenal mojitos. Potentially the best mojitos in town. The cigar selection is also extraordinary. I can without a doubt say I had better mojitos and cigars here at Ybors than Havana.

Music TOO LOUD on Friday nights! I couldnt even finish my beer and had to leave. My ears were sore 2 HOURS after leaving Cigars Plus. The loud music at this bar is completely out of hand and unnecessary. You cant even talk to anyone. The bar staff cant hear what your ordering. Ive honestly never been to a place with music this loud, its god damn ridiculous. This is a nice little bar, but they need to seriously consider lowering the volume.

Id give it three stars because their live music is good and their mojitos are fantastic but the atmosphere and staff sucks. When there isnt a live band playing, the music is stupidly loud (evening/night time) You cant hear yourself talk at all (When Ive gone I had to go sit outside to be able to talk to my friends) and the staff is pretty rude- or at least not friendly. Specially if you dont speak Spanish. If they didnt have such great mojitos I wouldnt go back.
