Great spot for coffee and to chill and get some work done or meet up with a colleague or friend. Cool atmosphere - open, spacious and light, good service. Almost deducted a point for no straws for ice drinks :), but yeah, I get it. Sometimes there’s a food truck outside for lunch which is pretty convenient; not sure the schedule tho.

Absolutely awesome little space. The coffee is delicious. We had an amazing geisha on espresso, and a great (and beautiful) cortado. The owner was so nice. I hope to come back again next time we visit the area.

Had a wonderful time at the Alert Coffee Shop! Very large tables with benches, with side chairs and sofa! Just an awesome place and workers are great!

This place very quickly became my favorite coffee spot in town! They have fantastic coffee, great service and an inventive special each month. My go to drink is the caramel latte, for which use a caramel made in house. The atmosphere is great too, really comfortable and relaxed. So glad they are here in the Heights!

The girl on Sundays is an absolute boss and always makes the most bomb vanilla lattes for me and my lady. Shes super kind and makes some kickass little flower designs in our drinks! Five stars for the coffee six stars for the barista!

We love this place!! The place is so comfy and homey!! Love the astomsphere! The staff is friendly and welcoming!! The coffee is amazing! Try the pumkin spice where you can taste the true pumkin taste! Or try cold brew, with almond milk, and 1 pump of carmal or vanilla!! They have a outside area this is relaxing!! Food trucks also come by to complement the great tasting alert coffee!

My Sunday routine: wake up, go to Alert, get a latte and breakfast burrito, and set up my emails for the week. Best spot for running into friends, best spot for friendly service, best spot for hanging out and getting work/reading/relaxing done. Highly recommend!

Ive been a heights resident for about 4 years now, and although we have a few great coffee shops locally, Ive been waiting a while for someone to open up a shop in my neighborhood. This is the perfect spot. Great coffee, excellent space and its in a brewery! Also, the coffee is amazing. Another great addition to the heights.

Really an awesome new spot. I’m a huge fan of several places on this street, my girlfriend and I were joking that between this awesome coffee shop and brewery right near we can get some work done, have some great coffee and then roll right into happy hour, dinner and after dinner drinks. Also if you’re really into coffee you’ll appreciate their attention to detail for their craft.

This is a must try!! I ordered three different roasts and have been thoroughly impressed one cup after another. The flavor profiles are spot on and fun to experience from start to finish. If youre unable to stop by for a visit, I definitely suggest their online store. Super easy to navigate with the best customer service!

So happy to have this excellent coffee shop in our neighborhood. After moving across the country, finding a place to go that feels like “home” is very difficult- and this place has the same friendliness and values that I treasured at my small-town coffee joint. PS: I always recommend the monthly barista special. The baristas are wildly creative and make a damn good cup of coffee.

I stop in here at least 2-3 times weekly to grab a cup of coffee and work remotely. Its a few blocks from my house, has TONS of parking, and they make a damn fine cup of coffee. The inside of the building is super spacious, climate controlled and has great bathrooms, seating, etc. Theres a new coffee shop in town!

The lattes are perfectly balanced (not too milky, not bitter). Seriously, so good!

My favorite new place to do remote work! Chill vibes and really nice community here. Also for real, the coffee is delicious whatever your go to is, it could be that pumpkin spice life, the cascading nitro, or the espresso that makes you feel like you could run a marathon without jitters, everything on this menu is fire.

Their pour overs are impeccable, lattes are delightful, espresso is fantastic, and even the drip coffee will leave you wanting more. (Who only needs just one coffee?!)Ive dropped into alert daily since theyve opened. Its a great environment for remote work, reading your favorite book, or catching up with a friend.Alert is a great addition to the community. Check it out!

Another great addition to seminole heights. This coffee shop takes a true small batch approach to the how they roast their coffee. The owners started out working in their garage and are both residents of the heights. Additionally, they started their business in the middle of a pandemic, a testament to their hard work. The same is outstanding and its literally 5 blocks from my house. Cant beat it!

Finally a great coffee shop on the Nebraska side of the Heights! The coffee is great and the staff is incredibly friendly. My two favorite spots in Seminole Heights are in one spot: 7venth Sun and Alert Coffee!

I found a new coffee spot!! Arent you excited!! I am. Especially since the coffee is soooo great!! Located in a corner of 7venth Sun Brewery in Seminole Heights. They are open from 7-2 and have all the standard coffee items. Latte, cappuccino, espresso. Then they have a few special creations. Uh-Oh Spicy and the Buccaneer. Head over to their Insta to learn about those specials and while you are there check out where they get their beans. From Columbia. Freshly roasted and into your cup with a breakfast burrito, if thats your thing. I was in early afternoon so I didnt see any food. I do know they have tea, matcha, and charcoal.Want to work or sit and enjoy your brew rona safe? They have lovely outside seating and indoor spots all 6feet away. With a very, strong, internet signal. I really want to say this place is dark and dank with icky internet, just so I can go and work here without people, alas...Ive saved the best for last. The baristas are amazing. Thoughtful and funny and dedicated to your coffee happiness! Not sure what you want... Take your time. Or ask for recommendations. They love coffee as much as I do. At least the gentlemen who created my scrumptious vanilla latte.I cant wait to meander my way up there again. For another drink and maybe some beans to go!

Stopped by on opening weekend, and had a really pleasant experience. I really like what they’ve done with the decor; the space is very welcoming for the multitudes of us who are currently working remotely. Likewise, the main attraction (the coffee) is outstanding; we tried the Barista Special (Pumpkin Spice Latte currently), as well as a more standard drip offering. Both were superb. Lastly, the service was welcoming and knowledgeable. We were greeted warmly, and one of the owners took the time to discuss with us their monthly Barista Special concept (cool idea btw). Overall, can’t recommend this place enough. Hopefully this will be an institution in East Seminole Heights for many years to come.

Absolutely LOVE Alert coffee! My favorite roast is Colombia and their special Inaculada Geisha is spectacular! Well worth the wait!!!

Alert Coffee is located INSIDE 7th Sun Brewery. The baristas were noticeably friendly and the coffee (I ordered a latte) was solid. The space inside has some couches and there are stools and picnic tables outside. I would have liked a little more variety in the menu and hope that they add more items, including fresh pasteries in the future.
