This establishment was absolutely completely astonishing. It was the best food I’ve EVER placed into my face hole. The food was excellent, tremendous, and truly marvelous. No kizzy no cap!!

Great Chicken Salad. The Best out there and served on a fresh croissant with homemade potato salad on the side. Salad was very fresh and the sun dried tomato was a good change from the ranch. Coffees were great iced and cold with caramel and vanilla extras.

Ok, so I kept wandering about this place and decided we had to check it out. What person would call their restaurant cry baby? After my first bite I knew. I wanted to cry like a baby that I hadnt been here sooner. We were in Gouda heaven. Soft, toasted, english muffin, crispy bacon, perfectly yet slightly, gooey centered egg and the goudy cheese.... Yummilicious!Dont miss this tiny yet simple restaurant for breakfast/ brunch/ lunch. Youll be the cry baby if you do.

Too bad there is still no option to assign zero stars. Chicken Salad is supposed to be scooped/piled on a sandwich. It’s not intended to be smeared/spread on a croissant like cream cheese or butter. Also, IMO grapes have no business being in chicken salad without a disclaimer. What kind of monsters are you??Many, many better food choices in the area.Would not recommend.

Riding my bicycle around town, I saw this cafe and decided to stop by for breakfast.I ordered their Cry Baby Breakfast Bowl which consisted of roasted potatoes, a choice of chorizo, ham, or bacon, two eggs, and smoked gouda. The overall flavor and presentation was very balanced. Highly recommend for a quick but delicious breakfast.Also, Im a big fan of their wall murals. Its super motivational.

Breakfast is good and very yum butttt some of the pics on their site is from another restaurant across the street called Dufrain. I got mislead by the pictures and ended here with avocado toast that didn’t match the pics and only one egg white...bummer but it was good

They are in a great location and used to be really good. However their kiosks never work, their customer service is really poor, and worst of all, they changed their breakfast menu and now ONLY have breakfast sandwiches, no bowls. So if you cant have gluten, you are completely out of luck. Im surprised they have managed to even stay open. Since the changes, they never seem busy anymore.

There were 3 employees working.They have a zero Customer interaction, computer ordering system..Customer service is none as we saw 9 customers walk out after trying the Touch ordering system with no Atempt to help them.Food was good, service was terrible which is why you go to a small coffee shop.Not sure what they do in the small back room instead of helping customers but the owner might want to find out.

We traveled from Temple Terrace to eat at Cry Baby Cafe. We get there they have a sign No Dogs allowed. Then the menu was limited for breakfast. We ordered a croissant with cream cheese and two Cappuccino. The only thing that we enjoyed was the cappuccino... no real service young people working. Disappointed!!

Adorable and delicious. This was my first visit to Cry Baby Cafe. The menu is small, but everything on it sounded delicious. I had the Original Egg Sandwich which was fantastic. I ended up taking some of the bacon off. Who ever heard of a place where there was too much bacon?? My Honey had the Cry Baby Bowl. It was huge and he said it was delicious, too.The place has a urban vibe without trying too hard to be cool. I can’t wait to come here again.

The food here is overpriced for what you get, which is basic and the staff had difficulty answering questions about the menu. Google was a little deceiving calling the Cry Baby Cafe a breakfast restaurant, so I assumed Id be getting more than a choice between bagels or croissants (menu has 5 items on it). As far as the physical features of this establishment goes, it has a modern rustic feel; Its right off the water but you dont get a sense of that when youre inside, as its a little dark. Im not sure what the name of this place has to do with what theyre about, its a little strange if you ask me. The pictures they have on their site are not at all what I received in terms of presentation. Below is avocado toast and their breakfast sandwich.

It seems that they dont keep the quality and the goods high as they (should) normally do. The place is called CAFE, yes I do want to CRY out loud for a really good coffee, but it was a dead dream, after walking around with my fiance, (we both are coffee lovers) looking for CAFE PLACES TO ENJOY COFFEE, we decided to get in on this one, by the way the other place in front of Cry cafe it says Cafe Restaurant but they dont sell coffee at all. So, the Cry Baby CAFE was weak almost not taste of coffee, so I decided to add espresso shot in it to feel that, we order croissants with cheese which was... half cheese in it. And the bathroom was dirty, yes, it was probably the worse day for them in many aspects... and it happened to have me as client🌟what a waste of my precious time going to this part of the city I have never been and I dont see a reason to come back.

Fast, friendly, and delicious. Harbour Island provides an environment for a little exercise via water walkways in a boating haven! Parking is about $1 per hour in the garage across the street.

Amazing food, great service. The bacon egg and cheese on a croissant is by far my favorite. Highly recommend this for a quick but good breakfast/lunch.

I love Cry Baby Cafe, but my breakfast today was truly disappointing. I ordered a salmon bagel, which is normally amazing here, but when I got the bagel, it smelled off. I took one bite to try it and it tasted horrible. I think the salmon was spoiled. I’m sure it was just an oversight and not intentional, but I threw it out and left because I didn’t feel comfortable eating it.

This is an average place to grab a sandwich nothing much around so end up going to this place. Average food staff behavior is kinda ok.

Breakfast at this spot - excellent. Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. The bill was appropriate.

Cry baby cafe, the name is right, cry babe cry, terrible service,, missing most of the food on the menu and they don’t know how to make a Cappuccino, so If you’re in Tampa area don’t waste your time...Cry baby is BAD !!!!

Paid $17.99 for a tiny bowl of rabbit lettuce & an iced tea after tip.They stress Hilary masks .They did not have Diet Coke or Soy Sauce .

Fabulous little cafe that serves organic coffees and delicious breakfast sandwiches. They are open for lunch with small menu consisting of home-made soups, salads and sandwiches. If lunchtime fare is as scrumptious as breakfast, then this is a must-go- to place twice in a day to satisfy the gnawing in your stomach. It was a nice, easy 10 minute walk from the downtown Waterside Marriott. They also have catering available.

Service was nice. Poke bowl was disappointing. Grilled chicken bowl was ok...chicken was dry.

Inconsistent at best on food, as well as overpriced. Staff quits often so if you are a regular first thing in the morning expect delays and once again inconsistency with bake goods etc. last complaint maybe small for most, but big for me. Honey was provided near the coffee, which I use in my coffee as a sweetener . The owner has removed it ...cheap

The place is close to my work. I feel like the prices are a little high, but it being on Harbor Island this is not a surprise. The food was good. The atmosphere was spot on. No real complaints. Good place in a good location. Worth a visit if you live on the island or work near by.

This is a nice place if youre looking for sandwiches and the like. I like the atmosphere as its very nice and modern looking. There is also a bunch of outlets on the bench seating which is nice if you come here to get work done.I came here to get some coffee and was expecting a fancy latte but they make their lattes from what seems to be an automatic espresso machine.It was a little confusing to find parking but there is a paid parking garage next to the place which is $1 per hour you park. The staff was friendly and I recommend this place if youre going to get a sandwich or salad since they looked good from other peoples plates.

The potato leek soup is delicious! One of my coworkers got it for lunch and shared. This place then got added to our favorite lunch spots.

We stopped in for late lunch. Each of us ordered a soup and half-sandwich combo. These included roast beef, chicken salad, and corned beef sandwiches. The soups were chicken noodle and tomato bisque. Everything tasted great and the service was fast. Also had excellent latte and mocha coffees.

Ive had lunch here twice this week. On Wednesday, I had the roast beef which was served as cold cuts which surprised me but was very very good! On Friday I had a chicken salad sandwich that is what dreams are made of!!!The menu is simple, the quality is the tops!!!

I agree, has potential but coffee dispensers empty, coffee accessories low supplies, not good since you prepay. Utensil dispensers on the other side of food area hmmm, two breakfast bowls were very good but cold waffles. Dirty restroom.

The croissant is amazing. Its very fluffy and light. The Original One is delicious. The Everything Bagel and cream cheese were also very good. The iced lattes only had one shot of espresso and was le drinking flavored milk.

Freezing cold in there, but the staff was friendly. Easy to park right out front. Coffee was cold 8:30 AM, but they they swapped it out and invited me to refresh. Tight space, not much vibe. Kinda to be expected with a high-rent zone. Ill go back, I guess -- but working on their outside seating area is the best option. But if there is anyone else on the phone - which there was, it is hard to work.

Wouldnt recommend this place. Live at post harbour place and the convenience would be great. Been there 3 times and havent gotten my order of a single breakfast sandwich right yet. Out of 4 parts to the sandwich, they cant get it right. Wrong bread, wrong meat, or wrong both. At least they get the egg and cheese correct(there arent other options but at least theyre on the sandwich). Also, overpriced for lunch and somewhat for breakfast. Wait times are long with not many people ahead, mostly due to understaffing. I was the third order in line this morning and it took 25 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. Im done trying to get a simple quick order, its wrong and slow each time.

Really nice Cafe with carefully put together breakfast and coffee selection. For those on the fence - breakfast bowls (southern) and arabic coffee with spices will not disappoint you.

Its not hard to make a sandwich and yet this place acts like its brain surgery. Not only did they mess up my order but a simple sandwich costs about $9.

Used to love this place, however, they have gotten rid of their veggie sandwich and this is very upsetting. Now they have absolutely no vegetarian sandwich options. I drove all the way over to the store today to get the veggie sandwich only to be told they dont have it anymore :(

I loved the Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich and Cry Baby Salad. The dressing on the salad is amazing. Trendy cafe and a nice location. You should try them out!!!

Breakfast sandwiches are great. Service is slow and has forgotten my order a handful of times. Expect to wait 15 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese and overpay.Lunch needs improvement. Just get a sandwich press, it will go a long way.

Great Place! Best cold brew in TPA. I worked at this coffee shop for a year, one of the best places to work and have fun while doing it. The staff is one big family and the food is always fresh and delicious.

I think this place has the reviews it has because it’s trendy, I think the price is so high because it’s located in a shop apartment slash shopping area. The service was poor and extremely slow, Quailty of food was subpar for the price. I would not recommend this cafe.
