Least favorite location in Tampa! Drive-thru and walk ins are both always takes the longest time to make drinks no matter how busy they are. Also barista should know that the drink size requires a bigger straw 😅

This place sucks, managed poorly today instead of saying theyre out of caramel they put some cinnamon goop in a caramel coffee good thing my wife isnt allergic! Always out of straws, drink carriers, sometimes nobody is there to open leaving staff and customers outside, coffee is made wrong half the time. I would rather drive out of my way than go through this every other time. Worst service ever, run like garbage. I left one star for the 2 decant people that do work there, very sad this store couldnt care less in such a beautiful neighborhood.

Came through the drive thru, there was a very long line, but they got the line moving very quickly. The girl at the window named Stacey was very nice and friendly, made small talk with me while I waited for my coffee ☕️

This Starbucks location on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa is a well managed Starbucks location that is efficient at keeping everything moving and getting your order ready. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that everything is prepared properly. Good experience every time I have been here.

Great number of food, which was nice, even though I did come closer to the end of the day. They made sure everything was done properly and tasted great. It was great service like Starbucks should.

They are so stingy with the ice lol. Its unbelievable. Everytime i ask for extra ice i make sure I mention that i actually want a full cup of ice and they end up purposely adding like 5 pieces of ice lol. I dont get why do the complete opposite of what i ask for, just to be petty towards customers. It happens so often that Ive realized Starbucks does have some petty teen employees. But..... seriously, look at my photos and someone tell me......WHERES THE ICE? LOL

Very disappointing. Ordered a tall flat white soy. The drink was poorly prepared. Taste was like drinking a cup of warm soy milk. It had zero coffee flavor. Clearly below standard for a Starbucks product. I know things can get busy, but for the premium price I am paying for this beverage, it needs to be right every time. Someone clearly needs a little re-fresher training.

I been here every day this week and I receive burnt coffee every morning it just tastes bad. It’s definitely not a way I like to start my morning unfortunately it’s the only Starbucks in my morning route so. I guess I will try to find a new spot. The status of Starbucks should surpass any other coffee shop not be equivalent to McDonald’s

The staff was not the normal friendly amazingness that Im used to from Starbucks. Yes, I know youre busy, BUT that also means that Ive been waiting for 20 mins for my coffee. It is really nice to not be barked at through an intercom, and it is expected that you acknowledge a thank you even if you cant force a smile.

Besides this parking lot being so compact me and dad love Starbucks! He had no clue what Starbucks was because my dad is old fashioned. Lol I told him everytime I’m on my home break from driving OTR I’m gonna get him Starbucks breakfast!

The workers were nice. Only thing is that the drinks were VERY sweet like someone added extra sugar. Other than that it was nice.

The worst Starbucks. Ive been here twice and both times I had to wait 20-25 minutes. Never again. Respectfully, you guys have to be more efficient. Something is off.

Most of the workers here are pleasant but the wait times are absolutely terrible. Ive waited at least 20 to 25 minutes in the Drive-Thru on multiple occasions and when I came up to the window they either have messed up my drink and had to remake it or it wasnt completed at all. Im not sure what system they are going off of or if they have extremely slow staff working in there but something needs to be changed, because thats absolutely ridiculous to have to wait for one drink, wait extra for it to be remade and still pay for it. Ridiculous!

This location is TERRIBLE!!! Dont bother wasting your time, your better off going to any other coffee shop. The line was extremely long and the employee was so extremely rude to my sister and I, we ended up leaving having not even a chance to place our order. Will NEVER be revisiting this location again.

The Starbucks drinks I order in the amount of 4. Tasted horrible no flavor whatsoever. I would prefer else where I spent 18.00 for disgusting drinks. When I can go to McDonalds and get better tasting coffee drinks for way less.

They treat you like poor peasants lol. I get second hand embarrassment for most employees here Everytime i visit this location. Its insane how rude and unprofessional these employees are. Today was the day i chose to just drive off from this location and stop giving them the benefit of the doubt and head to a different coffee shop.

Their inside dining area is closed and I only stopped there to grab food and use my laptop for a time sensitive matter. They told me I had to sit outside on the tiny patio. It was also raining which escalated to a terrifying thunderstorm after which they locked the door so you could even use the restroom. It was only 5pm so I have no idea why they would lock the door. They should be ashamed making patrons sit outside in a dangerous thunderstorm while they lock the door behind them! Despicable

Waited almost 30 minutes in drive thru. Oatmeal was cold. Asked for another one that is hot, got another cold oatmeal. Lastly, strawberry frap wasn’t made correctly 😞

Ordered through the drive thu. Waited for 20 minjtes for the person in front of us to ger ONE drink. When we reached the front sprry outta cold brew. When said why didnt you tell me that when I ordered? Guy said we just ran out. Mmmm ok?Anyway ordered something else, 20 mins later had a drink. Ridiculous. Will never go to this starbucks again.

Slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I made the mistake of going twice in the same week. The first time I waited 30 minutes for an iced black tea. The second time I was the only person in the drive thru and waited 15 minutes for two refreshers. Both times the baristas didn’t apologize for my wait or provide explanation for what took so long. There was no urgency from not one of the workers.

I visit Starbucks regularly and order the same Americano. However, the baristas still can not get it right. Yesterday the classic syrup wasn’t added. Today, they forgot the whipped cream. I was handed 3 cups, the coffee they made incorrectly, a cup with whip cream, an empty cup with a domed lid so that I could pour the coffee into and add the whipped cream. This is an accident waiting to happen. I had to try to pour the coffee in a cup and scoop the whipped cream out of the other cup on the way to work. In addition, there is one guy that knows my drink well and makes it correctly but he hasn’t been making the drinks lately, he’s been outside taking orders or at the window. He is the only reason I giving them a 2 or else I would have given a 0. Is that possible? I’m tired of having to come inside and correct my drinks. Also, the ladies at the window were unprofessional when I pointed out their mistake. One commented, “this is for Fridays” what’s that’s supposed to mean?

I come to this Starbucks every day before work I always do mobile order its always ready when I get there all the staff know me always all say hi to me and to have a good day even if they are not the one helping me with order

If i could leave no stars I would . This location in the evening time has deteriorated to absolute trash. The wait time in the drive thru is a nightmare and going in is not any better. Employees around not doing anything and orders are not being made in a timely. So if you have vacation time and wish to order anything, this would the starbucks cuz you will be there for awhile. Especially if you are in the drive thru. Get comfy. Pack a bag. Dont even get me started on the improper drinks being made and given . Training and management obviously arent going on at this location. I would find another coffee shop to visit.

I can sympathize with the other review of there being so many baristas and the service being very slow and the drive-through time being obnoxious also. They most recently added someone outside in the queue to take orders and process them a bit more quickly. This action may have been in response to the traffic jams that are caused by the specific location. Its dangerous especially on Hillsborough both for customers and for the people that live in the surrounding neighborhood. They should definitely invest in a better parking situation for those picking up drinks also. Its nearly impossible to pull out your car if you decide to park.

They stay busy but its worth the wait!

Good Starbucks, although drive thru may be a bit of a hassle during busy hours (not much room for cars to avoid spilling out into the road). However it is a side street and there is plenty of parking (not blocked by drive thru line).

This place is always under staffed, and this is the only Starbucks who takes 15 minutes when they are not even busy. They are always at least 2 workers understaffed.

Great little starbucks. Everyone was friendly and helpful, as I attempted to find a certain cup. Wifi must be good, as a few people were busy on laptops. A cozy sized Starbucks that I would be happy to return to.

SLOWEST Starbucks in Tampa. On weekday mornings, I have never gone through the drive thru line in less than 20 minutes. It causes major traffic delays on busy Hillsborough Ave. Sandwiches are usually cold in the middle. Done with this shop. I’ll stop at a local place instead.

Very inconsistent with what they serve. I was given a quarter of a full tall cup today instead of a full cup like Ive ordered previous times. Dont waste your time trying to get it right at this place.

The most inconsistent Starbucks in Tampa. Some days the drive thru line most super quickly, the food is hot and the drinks are made correctly. Other days it takes 15-20 minutes and your sandwich is cold and drink is incorrect. Might depend on the staff working? But unfortunately happens more often than not.

Friendly baristas who make your drinks properly and are attentive to any customizations. They are happy to suggest alternatives or new drinks for you to try if you tell them the type of drinks you usually like to get. There is no bathroom during the pandemic available, just your grab and go coffee spot.

I really like Starbucks but this location always takes longer than most others....frustrating as it is every single time.

The parking and drive thru is not convenient. Many menu items are not available.

My usual green tea frappuccino with coconut milk. Wasnt made well. Too much liquid and matcha tea wasnt foamy and tasty.

This is my home location. For the most part the orders are correct (which is why the 4) and the staff is great (also why a 4), but is a super busy store. The location is probably the more frustrating of any I have been to as it is tight to get in and out with not much room to drive in. In the morning, if you dont have at least 15 minutes to stop, keep going. If you have more than 6 cars in front of you, mobile order it while on line!

Ordered a coffee online walked up to pick it up and it was drive through only today. They would not let me come to the window without a car. This place is inflexible and they dont have good customer service. Im done with this place Ive ordered online and been a customer here for years and Im just sick of the poor web service and lack of customer support.

They are always out of everything. They don’t brew coffee after 10 am? Is this even a coffee shop? Every sandwich we ordered was ice cold in the middle. Worst Starbucks location. This particular location has really declined in the past year in service, etc.

I waited 30mins in the drive-through for one coffee. I was the 5th car and when I got to the window the barista was obviously aggravated. When I pulled away from the window I took a sip of my drink and it was completely wrong. It’s a shame because the location is great.

Slow slow slow drinks you will wait 7-10 minutes for a drink inside but don’t worry 2-3 people will be stocking inside instead of making sure drinks are made in a timely manner. They don’t update the mobile order system so half the drinks can’t be ordered ahead of time.

Stopped in on Friday after a day with my daughter and granddaughter at Lowry Park Zoo and these Baristas know how to make a coffee one of the best Starbucks I have been to in all of Hillsborough County

One of the employees told me I couldn’t sit at a table with my girlfriend and our friend so she took my chair away so I had to stand at the table the whole time instead, never gave me any other suggestion but made me stand at the table where I could have just been sitting. The same employee then yelled and used offensive language towards another customer for not wearing a mask when he sat down which caused us to leave... come on guys, your customer should be treated with respect and valued. Absolutely unacceptable. They made me a pretty good Frappe though, that’s why they get 2 stars.

No more peach juice sad day

VERY disappointing. The barista, Jake, had THE worst attitude when taking my order AND then had the nerve to scorn me on how I ordered it. Im really not sure why a skinny vanilla latte with almond milk was so difficult to comprehend. Then they made my drink so incredibly bad that I had no idea what the hell I was drinking and threw it out. I REALLY hope that management sees this because this is a person who needs EXTENSIVE training in customer service or needs to find a new career path. I will never return.

As a partner you’d imagine you would get some sort of kind regard. More often than not they will roll their eyes when you say you have partner numbers. The drinks aren’t made correctly most of the time, and I feel like there’s no reason to come back because the morale they have is not of actually Starbcuks standard - so I’m afraid they will intentionally make it wrong. Even so, I too every single time. Every time. Because I know what it’s like to have a rough shift. I try to make convo and all - they never want it. I visit at all time of day as well. In fact I never come during peak as I’m always working. I just wish they had better customer service. Especially towards someone who is doing the same thing as them day in and day out. Gotta do better..

Regardless of their over-priced coffee, this location has created a traffic hazard at 275 & Hillsborough Ave. The traffic has been backing up so badly that it is creating hazards to cars attempting to go West on Hillsborough.

Very friendly but service needs an upgrade. Continuously gets orders wrong and very open to remaking items correctly but time is money and correctly remaking an item doesnt replace my time.

Great place for early visit while planning to travel.

I frequent this location and have no real issues. They do sometimes get orders wrong though and not that their complicated but i asked for a caramel cloud macchiato and got a regular one, not a big deal but if they made use of the drive thru screen I would’ve been able to correct them without having to remake the drink.
