My family and I have been customers of this fantastic restaurant for years now. We love the way that they maintain the quality of their products and their professionalism. We appreciate their kindness and the phenomenal live music 🎶 🎵 ♥️
Of all Peruvian restaurants Ive visited in this area Ive failed in love with Costanera. Food is delicious, serving portions are just perfect for me. The atmosphere is great, you feel relaxed. It is great to visit with your family 👪.
First time eating at this place and I must say the food is absolutely delicious, portions are big and very tasty. Best part is that the waitress was professional, thoughtful and very attentive to our table. I would definitely come back!
There are many places and restaurants in Florida but Costanera is my favorite place of all my life. It is a wonderful restaurant. Excellent food wonderful service and music to remember.❤️❤️
They charged as for cover $10 each without telling us at the door. We went there just to eat, when paying the bill didnt realize I was charged for cover. We spent less than an hour there. Food was horrible too. Definitely not recommended. Everything there is about money and not the customer.
The food I had was quite good. I forgot the exact name but the dish was like this.. Imagine a seafood paella, but with fried rice as youd get from Pei Wei, not a typical Chinese Food restaurant. Service was very good despite our large party of patrons. Be aware, gratuity IS included on your bill for a large party. The smell was not the best. I may have found the problem, it was sewer smell coming in the bathroom which smelled bad, as if a P-Trap was dry. This keeps water in the U-shaped pipe (think of under a sink) as a barrier to keep smell and bugs out (I saw no bugs). There was no mention of the smell from the staff.Easy place to find on Northdale.
The best ceviche I’ve eaten in Florida. Presentation was amazing and the food was delicious! We are from Costa Rica and haven’t found great ceviche anywhere.
Good quality food. The service was one of a kind. I recommend this restaurant to anybody.👍
Great food, great service and the live music made it even better.
Really spectacular food. I dont usually rave but this place deserves 5 stars
Had a great time here, I came to eat here for my mother’s birthday for dinner and it was awesome. I recommend eating the ceviche as the dish was really good. Gerald was a great server for us he was very friendly and helpful and he even also gave us birthday cake for my mother’s birthday and sang happy birthday and we didn’t even have to ask. A great Peruvian restaurant overall!
Very good food! Great people. We have a very nice time. Geral was amazing. Congratulations for the owners because they have great employees 🤗
Great resteraunt, the food is excellent.Definitely will be going again many times.
I always have a blast at this place. Service always excellent, food consistently delicious . Fresh seafood each time . Love when they have live music. Such an unexpected little gems.
Amazing food! Very friendly staff. We had an excellent dining experience! I highly recommend this place.
The food was excellent. The service was safe, professional, and friendly. The Jalea fried seafood platter was Perfectly served. Highly recommended.
Service was good... I was not a big fan of the food though. It tasted like if it had alot of soy sauce. Like teriyaki
The food was okay but the young man who was our waiter was awesome! We went there on Mothers Day and he so patiently dealt with all six of us!
Went to celebrate my husbands birthday yesterday & the experience was fantastic. The waitress had great customer service and the food was delicious! The food will take a little while to come out, but be patient because that only means that they are carefully preparing your food. Trust me, when it comes out you will enjoy it. The papa a la huancaina was delicious and the tallarines Verdes with pollo salteado was excellent! Perfect size servings. Family friendly, which is a plus for our big family and very accommodating. Its one of the best Peruvian restaurants that are still out here in the Tampa area. Definitely recommend 👌
I am Peruvian and this is the closest I get to Peruvian food in the Tampa Bay Area, the food is fresh and very flavorful, if you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food this is the place to go, I’ve been there 2 times and I’ve had the causa de tuna, the lomo saltado and the jalea and it’s amazing I def recommend this place
Amazing food me and my wife order a ceviche and it comes a huge dish with a mix of a seafood more than enough for two person.First time we order and we gonna order more times!thanks.
I do not like to give a bad review but honestly this was the worst experience I have had. It was the first time coming to this place. My mother was very excited about coming to this restaurant. First thing we waited about 7 mins to be seated it was just the 2 of us. They sat us in a corner booth that was right by the door very far from where the servers were. We did not get any menus for about 10 mins. I noticed that there was only 1 waitress working while I am guessing could be the owner was sitting there doing nothing but watching as the poor girl struggled. Finally when the server came my mom ordered the Chicha Morada drink pitcher the server I guess assumed that I wouldnt like it and suggested for me to try it first before getting the pitcher. about another 10 mins later brings me a glass of the drink (only me) not my mother. I try it and I like it so we ask for the pitcher. another 10 or maybe 15 mins pass and we finally get the pitcher with another glass (no ice). We order our food again about 25 mins to wait and was very disappointed because it was cold. My mom ordered the Jalea also cold, the cooks or another employee brought us the food. No sauces for her Jalea. I asked for Ice after waiting again another 10 or 15 mins she comes back and tells us they ran out and had to wait for them to get more. By the time we finished our food we got the glass of ice. it was just sad because I felt the server tried her best. A party of like 8 people came in and it was just her, not pleased with this place I am sorry. I think they need to either hire more people and also make sure the food is served before it gets cold. Literally we were there for more than 2 hours mostly waiting.
Chef Eduardo es unico. His English isnt great but if you speak Spanish and want to fall in love with the story of Ceviche before loving the taste ask for him and ask what ceviche means to him!!! Definitely recommend
I reviewed this restaurant on Yelp also and as bad was the service and the food the waiting time I had a very fast response from the owner, I DK how a restaurant take 45 minutes to bring an appetizer even 20 minutes because I ask the waitress to bring me the glass of water at least, I know you have to wait but I was expecting the food gets better but no no
Great food and service!
Awesome place.. awesome food and awesome service. Highly recommend this place for Peruvian food
Outstanding food, great experience! Be sure to check this place out.
Went in on a random Thursday afternoon and the food was amazing. I will definitely be back
The quality of food and service as always very good, excellent. I will comeback.
Good food great price
Good food, good service my husband and i went with some friends, we enjoyed too much the jalea, sea food rice, the pescado macho was excellent, the reason for 4 stars was the sangria I was expecting some different but it was ok. Food and service really good, price reasonable the music was wonderful and decent. Great idea having music on weekends. Really good place. Thank you
Good food, good service great ambience.
Waited over 1 hr for meal. Food under cooked and other order plate tasted burned (rice). Terrible waitress service only one waitress handling all orders. We were not offered refills on beverages. Waitress avoided our table when we asked for service. We were very disappointed with service and quality of food. The owner came out and apologized and offered to replace the food which we declined. We had already waited at least an hour so decided to not wait for a new order. This was our first time at this restaurant.
We had lunch yesterday 1/11/21! Hidden gem! Our waitress was so nice and we had yummy toastones and shrimp ceviche! Yum #eatamplified I will deff be back to try more food! Gracias xoxo
Its delicious seafood
First time eating there. My ceviche had no flavor and seems like the fish was frozen.
Love the Friday mood and music. Food is always awesome 👌
Good Peruvian food, very good service. Decoration works but a little too much black, Prices are a little pretentious but it is definitely worthwhile. Try the fish Ceviche.
Wonderful authentic cuisine Love this place.
The food was great. We arrived without reservations and were seated within a few minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere, decor and music made us feel that we were no longer in Northdale. Cant wait to go back with friends and family
Excelent Peruvian food!
Tried to eat at this restaurant. Three adults were seated immediately. We watched 4-6 other tables seated. We waited 15 minutes reviewed the menu, watched the other tables served drinks. After 21 minutes and no service, we left.
The Peruvian Cuisine is famous all over the world because of their exquisite seasoning and dishes, this Restaurant makes honor to their tradition, excellent service, delicious food. Highly recommended!
Authentic, delicious food! The Sangria was yummy too. The atmosphere was full of happiness, and families of all ages enjoying good food and music. I look forward to bringing the whole family to enjoy!
Very delicious peruvian food..
I went to this restaurant for the first time the service and server was super the food was superb the cook deserve a crown everything was delicious thank you for this great experience I will be back
There isnt a half star to give for my experience... sad to say will probably be looking for another Peruvian Restaurant.. and we were regulars there.... to post I have to choose a star.. there 1 star
The menu may not be extravagant, because it doesnt have to be. The flavors speak for themselves. I highly recommend this dining experience. We didnt stay for the entertainment, but it was gearing up to be a fun filled night. Great for couples on a date or a large party of family and friends.
Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Very welcoming wait staff. This was my first time at a Peruvian restaurant and I was not disappointed. I got the cilantro rice and chicken yum. My husband had a fried dish of cassava and assorted seafood with a delicious onion salad topping. Wonderful combination of spiced dishes combined with like. I recommend this place especially if you are trying Peruvian food for the first time like me.
Very great experience, nice ambiance & great waitress named Leanette. Started off with Shrimp Ceviche, then Lomo Saltado, ended my lunch with flan. 10/10 neighborhood gem
Food is great but the service ALWAYS sucks!
My wife and I went to Costanera for the first time. We did not know what to expect. The food and service was the absolute BEST!!! Ayli was very patient with us, as this was our first time there. Thank you! Wonderful experience!
Amazing food, environment, and service. The flavor of the food is closest to authentic Peruvian as your going to get. I could order from this place any day with confidence that I know I’m going to get a quality meal with colorful flavor every single time like clock work. The portion sizes are great and wait time is not bad at all even when I went on a Friday night.
Too expensive, small portions with average taste.
I come here a lot on Saturdays when they have Karaoke. There is a great atmosphere and people treat each other very kindly and some like family. Not only is it a place for good times but also for even better food! Never had a problem with the delicious food or with the great waitresses. I would very much recommend this to anyone!
Great ambiance and very tasty Peruvian cuisine🔥
Flavor is always on point. The best in town!
First time eating here, food was good but service wasn’t friendly at all
I went to this restaurant a week ago and I ordered a arroz con mariscos I did not like it very much it had a sour taste and its tallarines verdes for children did not taste good. The chicha morada was very good, what most impressed me was the treatment of the waitress, I think she lacks training, I did not like the way she treated the client, she did not make me feel comfortable, it is the first time I go to that restaurant and I highly doubt will return.
We were seated in the back and given very poor service. Our sweet teas had sediments which were apparently left in the mixing container after it not being cleaned for a long time. (That’s what we were told) we waited 30 mins to order an appetizer and waited another 25 mins to actually get it. The food was ok, but I would not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE if you’re looking for good service.
Small place with odd tables but the food was outstanding. The portions were huge and price was not huge. The service was very friendly. Its good to know some spani sh if you go. Highly recommended.
I want to say I was disappointed about my last experience, I didn’t mind spending money on food when is well prepared and delicious, unfortunately for me this time it wasn’t, I ordered a shrimp ceviche and it wasn’t the same as last time, it didn’t have their “leche de Tigre” like it usually does, it was just straight up lemon juice, and for the price you pay I didn’t think is fair.
Not bad but theres better out there. Average at best. No Wow factor..
I have fun and the food is so yummy
What is not to like? The food, service, atmosphere were all excellent. Can not wait to go back!
Food was good and serv
Great Peruvian food Great place
Had the worst experience here ever. My husband and I were ignored for 20 mins till a waitress came and placed our order and it took 1 hour and a half to get to us. When our good came out my husband found a long black hair is in plate under his fish when we informed the waitress she just pulled the hair out of the plate and said that they would give us a discount of only 20 percent they were not even decent enough to comp the meal due to their unhygienic mistake the worst service and experience ever I would not come here ever again I do not suggest this place to anyone
Great food and nice staff.
First time eating Peruvian cuisine. My meal was delish! The restaurant was empty when I got there. Decor could be upgraded. Waitress was a doll.
Very nice to go, also the food is exquisite. The place nice and clean. The staff is always around. Nice communication with the Owner of the the restaurant.
This was our first visit. The meals and service were excellent. The volume on the music could be turned down a bit.
Very nice place! The food was delicious and the service even better.
I love Peruvian cuisine, so I can tell you that this place has great Peruvian food! The owner is very accommodating and friendly, and oversees the entire restaurant. The food is always fresh and served with care. Most weekends they have live entertainment. The place is very poplar with the Hispanic and Peruvian community.
Nice place, good prices. Friendly staff. Love the corn appetizers! Dont let the old carpet scare you away, this place is worth having a bite at.
The best kind of food! The kind food you could eat every single day or saver for a special occasion! Probably some of the best food Ive had in Tampa in a while. Ill be back soon!
Was serve a hair and a piece of plastic, service was poor, wouldnt go back.
Great!
