Our experience with Fence Outlet was outstanding, but more importantly, the trusting relationship we developed with Steve Baker (sales rep), was outstanding. Steve went above and beyond for us, by talking with our HOA (who was being very difficult on what to approve), provided multiple revisions, and had the fence installed before our move-in date. I had my fence completed by Fence Outlet. I tried to save a few dollars by using them instead of Superior Fencing & Others. I should have selected quality over price. It took them over a month to complete my fence. I had to have Duke Energy remove some trees and it took them over a month to come back. I called daily until they finally came. I would get a different excuse every day and promises that someone would call me back. I put pictures of my call logs below. I was finally able to get my fence completed...But NEVER again will I use them.

Working with fence outlet from beginning to end has been great. We had some issues with my HOA and permitting that the team from Fence Outlet were on top of and helped me to navigate. The installation crew was on time and worked diligently to get the job done. Kelli in the permitting department went out of her way to help me out on several occasions.

I am happy with my fence project from Fence Outlet. The salesman took the time to ensure I understood my options. The installers were on time and professional. I even had a problem where the sprinkler heads were not inside the property line far enough and Rich sent out a technician to move them for me.I do wish that the pre-permit process had better communication. It wasnt clear what was going on with the permit, and nobody could answer any questions about that. Other than that, the customer service was acceptable to me.

Update:The fence material and install went well. There was damage caused to a clearly marked data cable of mine. There was apparently some confusion which resulted in a delay of payment for the damage, but fence outlet worked with the sub contractor who did the work and it was ultimately resolved. 4/5 because of the delay and hassle - otherwise we are satisfied with the product and the resolution of the issue.Original Post:While the gentlemen who showed up to perform the work arrived on time and were polite, and did a fine job (for the most part) of installing the fence the poor rating is due to them hitting a (VERY) well marked data cable in my yard. I asked that they have a manager reach out to me as if will require several hundred dollars and several hours of work to repair. I also reached out to the estimator I had dealt with. The manager did call, but at the very moment their foreman had questions. I asked if we could speak again in 15 minutes. He agreed. I then called 4 more times throughout the day trying to get ahold of him as well as reached back out to the estimator. It has been 3 days since the install and I have not heard from him.Overall the fence is as expected and I will be happy to modify the review if the company reaches out and makes arrangements to correct their damage.

From start to finish. My experience with fence outlet left so much to be desired. When attempting to gain my business, fence outlet was responsive, the sales person was charming, and I got the sense I had made the right choice. Once the contract was signed and the work began, it became one of the absolute worst customer service experiences that I ever had, so much so, I had to file a formal complaint with the better business bureau, something I have NEVER done. It took over a month to complete the installation (and probably would have taken longer had the BBB not stepped in), and as of today I still have a portion of my original fence that the installers failed to remove. Ive called the GM to request a resolution and still have not received follow up. Its been an exhausting, disappointing experience and I would never recommend anyone to use this company for fence installation.

I just had a fence installed and had many issues, so I would not recommend choosing fence outlet for your fence installation. The issues include: They use high pressure sales techniques that make the lowest price only good for while they are there. The sales manager promised one bag of cement per post and two in the gate posts. They did not even put in a full bag into each post and no extra in the gate posts. Scheduling the installation was also an issue. They were scheduled to come out Wednesday morning (so I cleared my work schedule to be available), but called at 8:00am to say they would not be there until just after noon. I called at 1:30 only to find that they would be here closer to 3PM, but it would be complete that day. The person arrived at 3:45 and promptly told me that they would be dropping off the materials and coming back the following day (which was supposed to be the first day of my vacation). The person unloads the materials and puts in 3 posts, which each had less than a bag of cement. They actually only dropped off 15 bags of cement for 24 posts. The next day I approached the gentleman about the lack of concrete in the post holes and he would not even discuss it and blew up at me yelling about the cement. This was a horrible experience and should not happen to anyone paying almost $4500 for a small fence. I tried resolving this issue with Kyle the sales person and Rich the office manager, but neither of them were concerned with addressing the issue. I was not aware of this prior, but they did explain that they outsource all of the installations and that I could deal with the workers boss. This was ridiculous as I did not contract with the other company. I spoke with someone at the other company and he said that he would be here on Monday to address any issues, but never showed up. Since I could not speak to the person installing the fence civilly I decided to remove myself from that moment and just let him finish. After the work was completed, I tested each post by tapping the base of it with a stick and most of them had air pockets (which really concerns me for the longevity of the fence) in the dirt and minimal cement to be found. One of the gates also has damage as well as one of the pickets. I reached out to the teams (fence outlet manager and the subcontractor) today, but not to my surprise, no one responded. This has been by far the worst experience that I have had working with a company on a home improvement project. Buyer beware.

I needed a new fence in my backyard as my wooden one was pretty much ready to fall down. I had fence outlet out, they offered a competitive price and then got me on the schedule. When my date came they showed up, took down my old fence and put up the new white vinyl fence in a very timely manner. It was actually way quicker than I thought it would be. The fence looks great. I’d definitely recommend them for someone who is looking to get a new fence.

We contacted Fence Outlet for an estimate and Dylan Profitt was the salesperson who worked with us. On the agreed upon appointment date, he actually phoned to let us know he was in our area earlier than anticipated so he was able to meet with us earlier. He provided all the necessary information to help us make an informed decision about the work to be done. He also made good suggestions about what we could consider for our particular project. We were also impressed that from initial contact with the company to the estimate appointment, the company kept in touch . The process was efficient and we are looking forward to the start of the project.

ZERO STARSUsed this business for both PVC fence and aluminum fence with four gates. I have an issue with the PVC fence sagging on the bottom in the middle of the fence sections and a fence post clearly leaning with one inch gap between post and fence. The fence was installed and all sections had a U-channel to cover any shifts/gaps in fence with the exception of two sections, which is where the one inch gap appears. I was hoping to get the missing u-channel to fix this and/or have them look at why the post is leaning over so far. I also requested a quote to replace a damaged section of fence at my expense. I called in and was informed that no information would be taken over the phone that I had to go online or fill out the provided information in an email for the quote. It has been 68 days that I sent the request in and I have yet to receive a response or a call that someone will reach out to me. Where is the customer service with this company? I feel like an afterthought after purchasing my fence from them. Poor product that is sagging in the middle of fence sections and poor customer service for questions, responses, and repair quotes.

Great product and quick install day of, but very long wait for installation after contract was signed. Not the 3 weeks we were guaranteed.

I had a great all around experience with this company, from the estimator (Dan) to the quick turnaround time (2 weeks from estimate to install) as well as with the two amazing installers they sent to take down my old wood fence and put up the new vinyl fence. Unfortunately, I don’t know the installers’ names, though I’d like to have them do the remainder of my fence (other sides) when I’m ready to proceed. Kelli Ward at the office is a sweetie also. Excellent quality fencing materials installed professionally and in a timely manner. Most importantly, I was treated with the utmost respect by all involved. Couldn’t ask for more. Price was competitive also.

Make sure you get estimates from other companies. We had three companies come out for estimates for a new vinyl fence. Two came back exactly the same. Fence Outlet came back over $2000 more than the other two local companies. Other two companies gave me a detailed estimate of how much fence, labor and tear down was. Fence Outlet emailed a total price. No breakdown but said if we get another lower estimate to send it to them and they will see if they can lower their estimate. I am buying a fence...not a car. Not going to go back and forth for a price to see what they can get me to pay.

The team at Fence outlet was so helpful! I had no idea what I needed, I brought my survey and showed them what I wanted, and they put together everything I needed to have success. I even brought my buddy who was helping me put the fence up and his primary language is Spanish, the service rep spoke to both of us in our native languages and it made the build go flawlessly! I would highly recommend Fence outlet, we only made one trip to the store and we had everything we needed.

I just have to share this experience I had with Fence Outlet. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Dan the estimator. There were a few problems on my side trying to find the property marker. Dan absolutely made sure what we found was indeed the property marker. Even though we had to amend the contract three times, he had a lot of patience with me and didnt show any irritability. Yesterday I had a vinyl picket fence put up. Jose Jr. and Jose Sr. did an excellent job. They were very professional and paid attention to detail. Then today Lowry Hernandez came by and put on the gothic-style post toppers. He is a very friendly guy. I couldnt be more pleased. All four of these guys were very nice and easy to work with. LOVE FENCE OUTLET and its ASSOCIATES. I highly recommend this company.

The folks at Fence Outlet are first rate and the quality of their vinyl fence is superior. They go out of their way to assist you. When I needed replacing of a fence board, because someone in the neighborhood decided it would be fun to put an arrow through it, I was nicely surprised to find out that they very affordable. I bought a couple just in case we’re attacked again. Just yesterday I went looking for a replacement bolt for the gate hinge, and they went out of their way to find an entire hinge in their excess hardware bin and gave it to me free of charge. I couldn’t find the same or similar hardware at the brand name hardware stores and would have had to pay $40-$60 to replace both with something that didn’t offered the same features as the original hardware. The little things make the difference. Thank you!

Excellent place to buy all your chain link fencing materials

I purchased a fence from Fence Outlet in early 2017. I had two gate doors installed as well. The salesman was nice and the service was fast. Recently, one of the gates was hanging down and I saw the top hinge was broken. Being a novice dealing with fences, I attempted to buy the broken bolt piece from Home Depot. I was not aware that the hinge and bolt was one whole piece sold together. Also, Home Depot did not have hinge piece that would match my existing hinges on the two gates. So I contacted Fence Outlet.The manager, Justin Gray, set me up with service technician, Zahir. He arranged to come out on my earliest day off to make the repair even though I was out of warranty for the hinge. The fence materials have a lifetime warranty. He was here for maybe 10 minutes, made the repair, and even gave me the spare hinge in case the other piece broke. They come as a set of two. Loved Zahir! He was friendly, polite, personable, and thorough. OUTSTANDING! 👍🏿👏🏿Mr. Gray was willing to cut me a break on the normal service fee for coming out. I normally dont do reviews but I am very pleased with the service that Fence Outlet provided and definitely feel that God played a role in this blessing! Thanks!(Below are before and after pics)

99% of these reviews are fakes or payed for by fence outlet. . They reward employees with flat screen t.v.s to write up bogus reviews from throw away accounts. Do some real research folks.. The warehouse staff are all temps and the installers are all subs with no concern your purchase. Fence Outlet also knowingly lies to its customers. They claim to sell you strictly Homeland Vinyl Products but in reality its a cheaper sub par product mixed in to cut costs. All their chainlink materials come from a discount warehouse loaded with metal products from India and China. Good luck with communication and any service issues you will end with. Most jobs sent out are missing caps or gate hardware so plan on a delayed completion date.. Also the mark up on products is down right theft . It costs Fence Outlet less than $50 to provide you a basic vinyl gate they will charge you upwards of $400 for.. Here are a some pictures of their Veka substitute vinyl for homeland vinyl. And in response to Fence Outlet staff stating that this is a fake account, you obviously didnt check before you started typing... Im real Im local guide.

The only reason for 4 star is because after we decided to go with them we got a bit of a run around due to our salesman being on vacation but everything turned around for the good. The fence installers were absolutely outstanding. Worked till almost 9PM day one, to ensure the job got done on time. They worked around various obstacles and made sure to put in the time (and hard work) to dig out and level the ground where needed, rather than just sloping the fence (as they could have easily done). The quality and appearance of the finished product is top notch! I would recommend this company over any other. I only WISH other contractors put in half as much effort and took pride in their work as these guys did!

We had Fence Outlet install a 6 ft wood board on board fence for our backyard. We contacted 3 other companies and they had the best product and price. One other company had a better price but they used smaller posts, thinner boards and did not cement their posts. By far it was the best quality offered from the other companies quotes.The phone rep was helpful and professional. The sales rep was on time and pleasant. The installers were amazing. I was actually at work when the fence went in and they FaceTimed me 3+ times to make sure that I was happy with the fence.Great experience and now my neighbor is getting her fence installed as well.

I have been trying since October to get a small fence installed. They came out quickly to measure and do an estimate. And since then... Nothing. I have had this escalated to management multiple times to no avail. Im still fenceless. Guess they dont want the business?

Fence outlet sent Kevin Levayto give a quote that didnt describe any of the details of the job. Levay emailed ( what do you mean, I sent the price). later I called rich.fiore who said he was the manager and, he said I should have gotten a written description of the job and, he would correct it. I never got a return call or email from Fence Outlet. Total waste of time having this company come over for a quote. I Do not recommend doing business with this company.

The install crew was very eager to make sure everything was how I wanted it, before and after completion. Overall our experience was very positive. The office staff was incredibly helpful (thanks America!) on several occasions with all my questions and concerns regarding permitting and filing a Notice of Commencement. We had about 100 feet of white vinyl fence installed with 2 gates. I was not available to watch the crew the entire time during the install, so we did use the 1 year warranty on labor to have the fence adjusted after install to be level along the top about two weeks after our original install, rather than following the slope grade as the installers performed. Shout out to Keith who performed the leveling adjustments and he made it quick and easy. Would recommend Fence Outlet to anyone and my personal experience dealing with permitting by owner recommendation would be to let Fence Outlet handle the permitting if you need it.

Fence outlet is a company that I would not recommend. The sales man never understood what I wanted and did his own thing. I told him I wanted my fence in front of my water spigot but instead he didnt listen and just placed in right in the middle of my window (awesome serveying right). When I told them that they were wrong the manger didnt care to listen and said sure we will just have to charge you for it. Charge me for your mistake and not doing what I wanted? Make sure they put down what you tell them or they will do whatever they want.

I had the pleasure of getting my fence installed by one of fence outlets sub contractors. Although it took considerably longer than they said it would (presumably due to COVID), they did a great job. They were the cheapest quote we obtained and they did A phenomenal job. No complaints.

Sandra and Melody were amazing! So helpful and super responsive! Definitely recommend them in the future for anybody looking to install a fence.

Materials back ordered promoting extra long delay on install. Their attempt to resolve the issue was to substitute for a more expensive option which also then became back ordered. In the midst of all the waiting they did not return phone calls or could not tell me when materials would arrive. I eventually had to cancel the order and fight for a refund, they then charged a cancellation fee and took it out of refund. If I had simply changed my mind I would accept a cancellation fee but the order was cancelled due to their lack of communication and inability to procure the materials they needed. They are a definite example of no service after the sale.

I had several issue with service after the sale that i brought to management. They bent over backwards to make me happy with every aspect of my fence and their customer service. I cant be more impressed by their desire to have complete total customer satisfaction. To all prospective customers rest assured they will back up their products.

No stockade fencing since January 2021 and dont know when they will have any.

Dan came out to look at my property and gave me a quote. He said he would come back and talk to me about the trees along my fence line because he may have to come inside my property line. I was ok with that. He never came out for our scheduled appointment. I called his cell and left a VM but still no return call. I called Fence Outlet and let them know what happened so I could get someone else to come out but instead, the guy on the phone said he would tell Dan to contact me. Came to dispute a 300$ credit that the outlet owed for material that was missing on a order that was paid in cash which was over 8,000 worth of material. We have been waiting for Rich Fiore the GM for over 5 weeks to get back to us about this. When he said he would personally count the product orders apon delivery. The simple fact we paid cash for the product and was only given 3/4 of it when they had everything in stock but refused to give me my full order till 5 days later....We came in today because we couldnt reach him. When he came down he was extremely rude slamming his hand down on the counter raising his voice to almost the point of yelling. I have been a customer with fence outlet for over 3 years and have never had a customer issue before until meeting this unprofessional General Manager. They did credit end up giving us the credit but not before this GM was completely unprofessional and I am sorry for anyone who has to deal with him in the future. Make sure you count all your materials before signing anything.

Sales rep Russ was excellent. He helped me pick the correct fence and made sure all choices fit within the guidelines of my HOA. On install day, Jose and team came out and did an amazing job. They communicated really well with their progress and were very willing to answer questions when they came up. A+++ Experience.

I cannot honestly believe how irresponsible these people are. The fence went up very quickly but they broke a sprinkler (I paid the sprinkler insurance) It is now a month later and I only have dead grass and excuses. The installer just buried the broken pipe hoping I wouldnt notice. Its also worth noting they where werent cheap either.

I hired Fence Outlet to install my vinyl fence because their sales rep stated that they were in town and their quality can;t be beat and also because they were able to come out sooner than the other companies. The problems started once they installed the fence because they left two gaps of over 5 inches on one side and didnt even mentioned it until I went out there to look at the fence and noticed it. The major problem I had with them was that we overlooked where we added the gate and needed it relocated but they wouldnt even work with us $575.00 at first and dropped it down to $275.00. I will not recommend this fence company to anyone because of their lack of Customer Service!!!!!!!!
